This property was definitely a little different than other hotels I've visited. Staff was so helpful and accommodating.

Very a nice place, convenient modern and comfortable. Accidentally book one more night so negotiated with staff to upgrade the room by cancel on night turns out to have a free upgrade in the end. Very appreciate and completely out of exception!!! Definitely gonna come back again next time!

Excellent Shanghai Trip

We arrived the hotel at 9am+ in the morning and they let us check in immediately to rest. The location is so good and is so convenience to go all the sightseeing places. Right opposite the hotel is a shopping centre, we can get the foods easily. Highly recommend.. 👍👍👍

At check in hotel didn’t have our correct booking we booked 6 rooms, hotel received a booking for one room from the app. We waited very long time for check in Hotel main entrance is not same as shown on pictures, this is the restaurant entrance. And the restaurant is closed! This is not the official Mercure hotel. In Chinese it’s a different brand ( as we were told by Chinese friends)

The hotel is exceptionally clean and the rooms are very spacious. The major downside was the staff and customer service experience. Front desk staff were so unhelpful and unfriendly. They don't smile or greet you well when first checking in or even when passing by the front desk, very low standards for a well known chain of hotels. Definitely need more training and education in the hospitality department, not a welcoming experience at all.

Good location. Staff are helpful and courteous, with flexible arrangement. Mr James Yan granted upgrade of my room for the 10 Nights stay, I am most grateful for his help. Will be back here for Shanghai trip.

So disappointed with the finishing of the rooms, particularly the windows. As I understand, rooms and the property were recently renovated when they took over from the previous hotel. But they could not even finish the basics. Windows could not be fully closed tight and leaves a gap for the noise from traffic. Rooms reek of cig smell and they did not even bother to rid the smell. Not what I would expect from Accor. Location is not bad though. Opp a mall with adequate dining options.

The hotel is newly refurbished. Everything is so new and luv the ID. Unfortunately there were few china tourists smoked in the room with open door thus making the entire floor stink. We requeted to change to another floor but sadly the recep only able to upgraded one room even thou we booked for 2 rooms. Is a non-smoking hotel i hope they can take a strict control.

The location was quite central. You are steps from metro and you garden. However, quite a bit of a language barrier and they couldn't get wifi to work for me. Some guy looked at my phone for a few minutes and handed it back to me and said it's my fault and nothing I can do.

I had a King bed room for six nights. The property was very tastefully decorated, well-furnished and equipped. I especially liked the smart bidet and television. I did, however, notice that the air-conditioner goes off and comes back on at times. Although I visited during summer, there were times I had to turn off the air-conditioner because it was too cold. There is a self-service laundry room on the second floor, with two washers and dryers. I brought my own detergent packets, but I think there was detergent available for use in the laundry room. I did not have to wait to use the washers or dryers. Self-service laundry is complimentary. There is a Do Not Disturb switch by the door, do remember to turn that on if you do not want your sleep to be disturbed. Housekeeping comes by pretty early, around 9am. There is a very basic shopping mall just opposite the property with dining options, Coco (I got my daily bubble tea fix here!) and a supermarket. Shanghai Old Street and Yu Garden are a mere 5-minute walk from the hotel. If arriving by subway, take exit 6 from Laoximen station on Line 8/10. There is a Family Mart on the right upon exiting the station. Following the recommended route on Baidu navigation app would mean having to walk through dark alleys, take the main road to the right instead. The hotel is located on the main road anyway. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay, I got my parcel mailed to the hotel and it was sent up to my room via a robot!

It was OK. Not a lot of information in English, no local maps or recommendations on where to go. Room was nice. One staff member with excellent English who was really pleasant and helpful.

The hotel is new and modern design, which is very comfortable. But it is a bit far from metro station, need 10 min walk.

Good location, friendly staff

Satisfied, service was ok, comfortable room (enjoyed a free upgrade), neat, good breakfast, ten minute walk to metro station line 10, not too far from bund, Yu garden within walking distance. Chinese sharing bikes come in handy for bund and nanjing road. Had a good stay!

Hard bed

The hotel was very neat and clean staff were great but chinese use very hard beds so difficult to sleep on and couldn’t get comfortable at all

The hotel room either has a very small window or no window at all. I finally upgraded to their most expensive room however there is no AC. It was hot and humid and only fan was working. The entrance is positioned in a very strange way and it is difficult to get a cab. Also, no one seems to understand English.

The property is light,airy and fresh on arrival. The check on process was awful. It was loud, with staff leaving to answer calls, talk to collègues, answer their personal cell phones or disappearing during our check in. The room itself is a little small but very nicely put together. Lovely decor, comfortable bed. The shower doesn’t get hot hot but it’s warm. There is a small gym with 4 cardio machines and some weights. There is no ac in the gym so it’s incredibly hot! There is a free drink on arrival, however this didn’t work and trying to work it we gave up. Nice hotel. Loud location, no view. 15 minutes walk from the metro, but beware lots of road closures make it super easy to get lost!

Would stay again

In the lobby: very well presented, modern. the front desk upsold me to a “windowed room, however the window looked out into a small space with no natural light. They gym is not worth calling a “gym.” In the room: extra modern. Totto toilets, super clean, but room itself is very small.

Price and location. Walk to Yu Gardens early morning, avoid the crowds. Walkable long walk to the Bund.

Great hotel! The room was big and comfy, although the beds and pillows were a bit too soft for us. The hotel service was great as well!

Quite some distance from Subway. Not all the staff is helpful and courteous.

Location wise is good, the entrance of the hotel is no good is at the side lane of the minor road where a lot of taxi refuse to turn in.

The room is spacious and comfortable. Everything is brand new and high tech. My only recommendation is to add more to the breakfast buffet for westerners.

the room is bit stuffy and air con is centre controlled. In additions , the toilet or pipe smelly so every time i go into the room is smell bad. room 8658.

I stayed here before they made the lobby into a restaurant. Where to enter the building was confusing. The main drive up is not a restaurant and you enter the hotel by the side.

Good English skills. Not much food choices around the hotel. No convenient store either.

Great condition, but hot rooms

Potentially very comfortable stay in a new beautifully decorated in modern art Deco style. Would have given everything 5 stars if the room wasn't so warm. The fan/air con wasn't able to be turned to air-conditioning. Staff claimed it was impossible to turn on the air-conditioning but actually was just unfacilitating. Was disappointed that we were forced to sleep in hot room when everything else was so comfortable

excellent facility. condescending staff when asking whether they have a microwave to warm up a take away dish and declined to do it. When asked whether they can deliver more complimentary water to my room instead they just handed me the amount of bottles i asked at the reception.

Good location, good hotel for the price

Happy with the hotel. Nearby food available readily and not far from Yu Garden.

Room was spacious, modern & high-tech, comfortable. Service by trainee staff at counter was slow. Room did not have aircon or temperature couldn't be set - staff explained it was a centralised system (?) A little strange for a chain hotel.

In general it is a nice place to stay and a good value for money. Ju Garden and even the Bund in walking distance. Staff is friendly and always keen on helping even their english is limited. They have a laundry room where one canwash and dr cloth. What I did not like was the nois-factor. The walls between the rooms are simple plasterboard walls and the noises of your neighbour are clearly noticable. I mean nearly everything... Same from outside noise as the windows are old and not closing propperly.

This hotel is well located and within walking distance of many of the tourist attractions. Great room with VERY comfortable beds !! Helpful staff. Near a subway station and lots of restaurants - I would highly recommend this hotel.

Modern and nice hotel with great service!

Quality and comfortable hotel set in a central location. I have to commend the staff for helping me and my partner out of a fix. We got to our room and the air conditioning was not working well. Hence the room felt quite stuffy after a while. When we reported this to the staff and requested a room with a window instead, they voluntarily upgraded us to a bigger room with a window because only the bigger rooms had windows. That was a great touch of hospitality that helped us feel comfortable and really at home. Thanks!!

Not for those whom doesn’t like smoking

In general the hotel is looks the same as the picture, regarding the interior design, location and such. I booked this hotel with a special notice of “No smoking room”. However, once I got there I smell obvious smoking smell, I thought that might because of some previous tenant who stayed there made the room smell, so I open the AC and fan, tried to make the room fresh. Then over one night, the smell still strongly remains there. I called the room service, then they brought a big machine with big sound and tried to make the air in the room better. I obviously wasn’t happy with the solution at all, so they offer me to change to another room. Despite the new room was even smaller than the one I had before, I heard people outside (maybe workers/ tourists) were talking loud the whole night and kids scream outside in the corridor in the early morning. What I wanted is a room that clean, no smell and quite outside. Unfortunately the whole condition during my stay is not as pretty as the pictures they show on the website. Maybe for people whom have family and stay late at night and don’t care about the smoking smell, then it’s the hotel to go for.

The property was clean and in very good condition. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is easy to find and near the subway line 10. The subway is within walking distance. There are several restaurants and other businesses nearby.

晚上旁邊房間有人大叫大哭

一直都很好，但最後一個晚上，旁邊房間的人一直大叫，大哭。知道是跟酒店沒關係，酒店也換了房間。但酒店人員說，旁邊房間沒有人。有點恐怖。

영어를 못해서 불편해요

地點好，對面有商場：內裏有餐廳可以選擇，也有一間大超市喺basement 酒店職員態度好👍

지하철에서 비교적?가까운 거리여서 걸어서도 갈만하고 시설도 양호하고 아쉬움없는 아담한 호텔입니다.

驚喜的酒店

在辦理入住登記時，前台職員居然說未有記錄，擾攘了十分鐘多，又有記錄出現，真奇怪 ！上到房間冷氣居然27.8度，找了職員查詢後，得知是中央冷氣沒有辦法，這麼熱的房間如果在冬天我就很喜歡， 但是在4月份的天氣就.........好彩前台職員給我一把冷風扇，等我在晚間得以入睡，從未試過住酒店要用風扇，真驚喜！早上下樓經過前台，職員不會主動說聲早晨，回來經過亦不會主動問好，基本上服務態度是不合格好，仍有待改善。可能是一分錢一分貨嗎！

직장동료와 개인별로 예약을 하였으며 저는 100위안가량 높은방을 예약하였음에도 전혀 다른방이 아니었으며 City View를 요청하였으나 제공받은 방에는 창문 밖으로 아무것도 볼수가없었음. 예약 시 결로에따라 금액이 다른것은 인정할 수 잇으나, 높은 금액을 지불하였음에도 같은방을 배정하고, 층간소음과 옆방에서 나누는 대화를 모두 들을 수 있다는것은 불만사항입니다.

객실은 만족!

객실 자체는 깨끗하고 좋았는데 간식 살 편의점이 멀었고 지하철로 가기엔 좀 많이 걸었어요 가장 가까운 편의점을 물어봤는데 걸어서 5분? 좀 넘는 정도 거리에 있는 슈퍼를 알려주셨고 ... 그 슈퍼는 허름하고 냉장고에서 담배냄새가 심하게 났어요 결론적으로 위치만 조금 별로! 방은 좋아요 미니바에 콜라 하나는 무료로 주기도 하고!

There was this one front desk who helped us check-in. Maybe he had a bad day that day, everything we were saying seemed to annoy him. He was not willingly to care for listening and his negativity was so contagious.

Muito bom

Gostei bastante. Atendimento bom, quarto confortável e tudo muito novo. Café da manhã é muito bem servido. Localização muito boa, próxima a estação Laoximen. Deixa a desejar porque não tem almoço ou jantar, mas tem um shopping em frente. Muito limpo também.

コスパがよいホテルかと思います。ただ最寄駅は小南門駅ではなく、明らかに豫園駅なので表記は変えた方が良いと思います。

위치가 좋아요. 예원이랑 가깝고 지하철 역이나 버스정류장도 가깝습니다. 다만 방음이 좀 안좋고, 화장실이 일반 문으로 된게 아니라 유리로 된 문인데 그래서 그런지 화장실 소리가 잘 들려요. 가족이라면 괜찮을지 몰라도 친구사이나 커플이라면 좀 불편할 것 같아요~~ 그것만 빼면 깨끗하고 좋습니다.

겨울인데 너무 더운 방...중앙난방시스템이라 온도 조절 불가능하다고 하는데, 냉장고도 작동안됨. 직원들이 영어도 못하고, 자기들끼리 잡담하느냐 체크인도 오래걸림. 비추예요. SSWA가 훨 훨 나아요.

ルームクリーニングの指示方法がわかり難かったがスタッフが丁寧に教えてくれた。 部屋は綺麗で清潔であったが、バスタブが無いのが残念。

숙박시설은 전반적으로 나쁘지 않았으나 방음이 잘 안되고, 생활용품 구비가 잘 안되어 있음.

予約が取れていなかった予約完了メールを提示して1時間待たされた。 アメニティもフロントに言わないともらえない、氷もオーダーしてももらえませんでした、正直お勧めできないホテルです。

最悪なホテルでした。 3泊しましたが、2泊目は朝の6時から工事が始まり8時まで、工事が続きました。それに対して、すみませんしか返答がありませんでした。 また、近くの地図が欲しいとお願いしたら、上海全体の地図を出してきた。 あまりにも漠然とした地図なんで、地図の中のホテルの場所を教えて欲しいと話しても、近くの駅はここだ、タクシーを使えと、質問の意味を理解して無かった。3回質問して、やっと英語が出来るスタッフが対応してくれました。 テレビも、中国語放送しかなく、日本語、英語はありませんでした。 もう、二度と泊まりません。 名前に騙された感じです、

ホテルは清潔で、豫園にも歩いてすぐな点はよかったです。 ただ、部屋のカードキーが壊れていて時間が取られてしまったりした。

地點佳, 住房乾淨舒適但隔音不太好,會聽到車聲!

因在馬路旁，汽車聲非常大，早上六時便被吵醒了。

Nothing nearby, even not a convenience store. Just a modern hotel (relatively new), but when u call taxi by DiDi, the driver might not be able to pick you up at the entrance and just stay at another exit and missed you.

どの駅からも遠い。チェックイン手続きを待たせる。

GoogleMapでは現在地が北北西にずれる。GoogleMap,に同名ホテルが２つあったが、このGPSのズレとちょうど合致。初めての上海だったので大分困惑した。どの駅からも遠い。チェックインは待ちがあっても、気遣いなく立たせたまま待たせる。翌朝はしっかりした対応をしてもらえたので、スタッフの質のばらつきですかね。部屋の場所がわかりにくい。廊下の声がまる聞こえ。ホテルの問題ではないが、廊下で歌う宿泊客はお国柄か？

They gave me the smallest room in the hotel and that room only had internal windows and was a bit dirty. The room was totally different from the pictures they posted on the website and if I knew the truth earlier I would not book this hotel. They upgraded the room for me when I complained about the difference but I did not think they would do the same for all clients who share the same thoughts. Very disappointed.

早餐雖豐富但菜色普通

房間舒適,離地鐵站有點距離.早餐豐富但是早餐管理不太好,我訂的不含早餐,第一天飯店早餐我有去吃,沒要求我簽名只是問我房號,第二/三天我並沒有去吃早餐,但退房時告知我共去吃二次早餐,雖然最後只收我一次的費用,但是感覺不舒服像是我吃霸王餐,希望管理方面能夠改進

Bien decorado y con tecnología avanzada

El Hotel est increíble, recién remodelado, por lo que todo es lindo y muy tecnológico. Puntos en contra, por la ubicación es difícil encontrar taxi y no son muy serviciales para ayudarte a encontrar uno. Falta personal que maneje inglés.

整體很好，只是隔音有點不足

酒店離豫園、城隍廟很近，對面有超級市場，坐觀光巴士遊就在門口下車，還是比較方便，性價比高，是一個不錯的選擇，有機會還會入住。

駅から徒歩１０分くらい？、ホテル前にはスーパーもあり便利でした。

아침식사를 제공하지 않는것을 빼고는 괜찮습니다. 주변에 예원도 있어서 관광하기도 편리하고요

在完成訂此酒店時, 跟那客服要求想預留高樓層, 但對方沒有正面回覆是否可以幫忙! 氣憤! 另, 當辦理入住先, 前台職員稱無法替我們叫的士, 也稱不知那裡有地方食夜宵...明顯不想替住客解決問題! 可有一讚是, 當退房時, 那位前台非常主動幫我們叫的士!

大概十分鐘便能步行到豫園，房間也大概乾淨，鏡子挺有時代感的，可以開燈！美中不足是房卡因為系統更新的關係，有點問題，很多時候也無法拍卡，導致需要半夜找職員重新開通，而且只有一張，建議每房派發2張供2位客人。
