Fabulous stay at Mercure Koh Samui
Fabulous hotel!!! Room was large and very well maintained. Huge bed, can sleep 3 adults if you wish. The pool is huge and has a great swim up bar and it is right on the beach. Breakfast is included and has both a western and asian selection. The staff are amazing and very, very helpful. I highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel is very clean, tidy, beautifully maintained and well set out. It is near a lot of different dining options also. Breakfast was adequate with a number of fresh choices but not as good as some of the other hotels I have been to. Staff were very helpful in getting eggs orders done, but every time I asked for an omelette, it was still raw (runny) on the inside which put me off. Bacon was so cold and hard the only way to eat it was to pick it up in your fingers. Could not pick it up with a fork. Not sure why it was always stone cold - whether that was the plan or whether the heating device was not working. The only other gripe I have is that a lot of arrogant Europeans seem to think the lilos belong to them. Every morning when there was nobody about anywhere, all the lilos were reserved by people placing towels on them and then disappearing for hours on end until they were ready to use them. There is very small signage saying not to do it, but it is not enforced. So the rest of us who pay the same money to have use of all the facilities have to go without. Wrong. The area itself is in the quieter part of Koh Samui. Catching a taxi to central KS for a 7 mIn journey was quite expensive, and even dearer to come back.
10/10 staffs
Loved our stay here, very new hotel, good facilities, beautiful pool, staff were fantastic
Amazing hotel!
The staff are incredible, they are always willing to help you with taxis and restaurant recommendations! We stayed in the standard room and honestly it was the best room we stayed in throughout our trip to Thailand. The facilities are second to none. I would suggest upgrading to the pool access rooms (if you have a chance), as we didn’t know that the standard rooms were across the road in a separate building. Although, this didn’t make too much of a difference. Very close to the main town, however, far enough away to not have any distribution. Only minor problem is that the sun-beds were always full, so not sure if people were getting up early to reserve these (even though there were signs saying not to do this). Didn’t impact our stay too much it was so close to a lovely beach! And I know this cannot be helped as it happens everywhere! Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone!
Amazing resort and beach is gorgeous!
highly recommend
A very beautiful place. I am staying there for the third time and will come again. highly recommend
super nice sfaff,amazing location
Very nice hotel, superb location, clean and stylish.Front desk and travel agent were so helpful and friendly.Special thanks to Nancy,Luan and Nina.We will be happy to stay again.
Great spontaneous vacation
We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at Lindos Sun. The hotel's setting is unique, as it designed like a greek village with white houses. The rooms are very comfortable and pretty. Beds are very comfortable and the room is very well appointed. The meals (breakfast and dinner) are very good, with a big array of both greek and international foor, with many seafood options available. Food was delicious. Only downside is that at dinner, there are no water dispenser, and any beverages must be purchased, though are reasonably priced. The pool is really pretty and big, with many chairs and loungers near it. Overall, a highly recommended hotel. We recieved an early check in (12 pm) and breakdast for our early departure (5am)
Very clean and hygienic.
It is brand new hotel. Very clean and a lot of security camera and security guys inside. Feel really comfortable. It has beach access and there is nice pool as well. We really loved to stay here.
Recommended
Large clean rooms, quiet, great staff, good buffet breakfast, beautiful swimming pool, good WiFi. The hotel is not directly on the beach, and about a mile south of the most popular Chaweng Beach area, but it’s a good value. Easy to get around if you rent a scooter, available directly across the street.
The property was old and dated. The room was musky and the blanket was old and damp. I was bitten by bed bugs too.
Good stay, except the 5 th night doesn't want to offer us the breakfast because the stay was 20 euros more expensive and ti ask them to make a commercial gesture and they didn't want.At this point they were pretty rude with us ,normal that's the bad french hospitality and i can say that because i am french!Except that everything was ok!
The journey was good but dissapointed at the end because we stay 5 nights and we would like to stay one more night but the price raise about 20 euros more..,so i asked if i can pay the same price than the 5 others nights and they say no.Not very sympatical and friendly specially be cause the hotel is not full. They prefer to loose 66 euros .It was hood in a way becayse we find a nicer hotel close to the beach and cheaper.
property too old. Decor too grey n dark. hotel too dim n dark. toilet roll of bad quality, towels too old . swimming pool looks very dirty.Staff are friendly, bed is comfy. alot of shop n restaurant around hotel.
Nice and quite even with the construction work going on across the street. Beds were a little too firm. Great property and staff.
Nice room, bad food
The room was very nice and the service was good. The only downside was that the food we ordered from room service was pretty bad.
Quite area nearby everything shopping beach and eatery
Good but there is better choices.
right in the hustle bustle of Samui. Road works were happening when we were there so noisy and smelly. If you want peace an quiet then this is not for you. Pool is nice but not really any good for sun bathing. Staff were friendly but as a city tourist area you felt like another number rather than a valued customer.
Good value for money
Stayed for 20 days. Very nice hotel. Functional room. Very clean exelent bedlinen. Good service. Very nice and helpful staff. Nice breakfast. Very nice pool and sunbeds. Thick towels 👏😊 Recomend this hotel. Very good value for money
The Mercure is lovely. Conveniently located, within walking distance of the beach, a massage, a fruit smooth or a drink. The hotel rents motorbikes and they won't require you to leave your passport! We/ve had to leave our passports at rental places in the past and its always left us feeling leery. The staff is amazing, super attentive and responsive.
Great hotel, friendly staff, quiet area of Chaweng
Lovely stay at the Mercure, yes they are busy upgrading the beach area so no pool bar but this didn't affect our stay. Situated on the outskirts (quieter) area in Chaweng which suited us, 2 minute walk to the beach and about a ten minute walk to centre of Chaweng. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, our luggage didn't arrive and reception were really good at helping us getting it sorted. It was my birthday during our stay and the hotel made an effort to make me feel special. As the hotel is close to the beach the pool was very quiet, no problem with sun beds. Pool bar/food nice and reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet good and always restocked regularly, smoothie shots, fresh juice, freshly cooked eggs/omelettes as well as continental and thai choices. Would definitely use the hotel again if visiting this area.
The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. It was also a great location because we could walk to most if the places we wanted to visit.
Great location, many food outlets close by, short walk to the beach overall a nice hotel
The staff were lovely; very helpful, which was all the more welcome because we were trying to get off the island to escape Storm Pamuk. The hotel is in a good location - not right on the beach, but only a short walk - near lots of restaurants and bars. Our room was decent; attractive decor, clean, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom. The only things we would criticise are the fact that they changed our towels every day despite our hanging them up to be reused in an effort to be environmentally responsible, and that the fruit at breakfast was a little bit past its best.
Nice quiet hotel. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Not too much choice for breakfast food but all very nicely presented. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and always smiling as usual
It’s old and small and many lizard everywhere. Not what we expected
Good value hotel for relax and explore good food
The staff are very friendly, especially the driver who sent us to the airport, the front desk staff also very nice. room size a bit small, the interior and furniture simple, cleanliness are very good.
Close to amenities
Hotel is ideal for a quick stop over due to its location. Beach facilities are excellent. Great choice of breakfast!
Excellent value for money, close to the beach
The hotel is lovely, with all staff very friendly. It is literally minutes from the beach, but is about 15 mins walk to the centre of Chaweng. Perfect place to stay to enjoy exploring.
Very nice staff and rooms very clean.
Great location, friendly staff would highly recommend.
Very sweet people
Very good
Really nice hotel if you don’t have to be on the beach. Although this is a 2 min walk to the beach, so still convenient. I loved it. Quiet rooms, clean and comfortable.
Poor communication and service
We were only there for 3 days and for 2 if the thee days the pool bar was shut which had we had known this prior to booking we would not have stayed here. We were not informed this in checking in either it was in the 2nd day we saw a notice had been put up saying it would be closed for two days. We received no apologies or compensation for the inconvenience.
Great boutique hotel
Enjoyed our stay here. Great value for family!! Rooms nice & clean.
.
A hotel is nice and quite place and staffs are friendly.
Pleasant
Rusty concept. Hotel is nice, cosy and clean. If you are a non-smoker get a non-smoking floor and room. Near to shops, restaurant and definitely the beach. Approximately 3-5mins walk. Overall I had a pleasant stay.
Hidden gem in Koh Samui
This hotel is very pleasant with great atmosphere. The indoor pool and palm court add greatly to is charm. It is located in the middle of Chaweng and it is quiet, but still close enough to the busy northern side with all its bars and restaurants. It also has its own beach access (something that is a big problem here!) and the friendly staff will open it for you early should you want to see the sun rising from the sea!
Not on the beach and Street noise
The hotel itself is nice and it’s a short walk to the beach. They have a nice beach bar as well. The street noise is constant and loud. It does quiet down around midnight so thankfully you can get some sleep into the morning hours. If you get an interior room the noise is not so bad.
Good!
Shower was great, hot and great pressure. I enjoyed the room too, good size, bed was pretty good. Then property was beautiful too; will stay again.
Clean rooms and extremely friendly staff!
Very happy with my stay at Mercure. Staff is very polite and rooms nice and clean. The hotel is quite close to the centre, around 12 min walking. I would definitely stay there again.
Love the hotel’s staffs
We definitely come back soon because this hotel is truly providing the comfort and cleanliness that we need when we are away from home
Great stay and very comfortable
It was my 10+ times at this hotel. Excellent as always. Clean comfortable and convenient hotel that suits business trip. However, this time they charged me $2 for eating the unexpected expired mars bar in the fridge though I informed them before checking out. So please check the expiry date of minibar stuff before eating.
A Gem in Chaweng
Great stay. Room was comfortable.. not large, but didn't spend too much time in there. Staff was amazing. Greeted me everytime I walked in the lobby with that beautiful Thai smile. Hotel is located about 25 min walk from the central festival area, but there's plenty of restos and massage places nearby. I'd choose a different place if I wanted to be partying every night.. but it was generally very quiet there, except for that stupid Thai boxing truck. Nice beach bar. So relaxing to sit there with a singha! Breakfast buffet was tasty.. nothing super special, but a little bit of everything. And after day2, they didn't ask me for my room number. They remembered. I'd stay there again!
Location was great, walkable distance to good food and market shopping. Rooms were comfortable, air conditioning worked well, bed was firm and the shower water pressure was good. Staff were friendly and helpful, even at 10pm the tour desk staff were happy to help with booking a tour for the next day. Hotel restaurant was good. Buffet breakfast was average, but convenient for us. The standard was good for the price we paid.
My stay was excellent!!
Hotel was very clean. Wifi never gives any trouble. Always connected and it's so fast. The staff was amazing. All of them. Reception, housekeeping, restaurant, hotel beach bar...etc. Immediate action if you report something in the room. They come and fix it in few minutes. Was very comfort overall. Sad to leave the place.... Amazing experience. I strongly suggest this Mercure hotel
Convenience and friendly associates. Good for money
Very close to the beach
The hotel was very clean and beautiful It was a block away from the beach and not to far away from main attractions and nightlife. The staff was nice and helpful
Go Mecure
This was our 2nd stay here at the Mecure. Staff are great, location is now even better with the new beach access including lounges and beach bar. Breakfast is great too with plenty of choices.
Nice, clean hotel
This is a nice hotel on the beach road of Chaweng. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. They always welcomed me at the entrance of the hotel with a smile. And they were very helpful on all my inquiries. The room is nice and good sized. Clean and with nice amenities in the bathroom. I worked from my laptop in the room and found the wi-fi to be very good. One annoying aspect was that people could look directly into the window of the room from across the way, and also while waiting for the elevator. But the only curtains were black-out curtains. So, for any kind of privacy I had to shut the black-out curtains and thus keep the room dark (and the lights were not so bright). As mentioned, it is on the beach road, but to access the beach you must cross the road and walk down an un-shaded path to the beach. Not a terrible nuisance, but you should know in case you prefer direct beach access from the hotel. Other than that, the neighborhood is good with close-by restaurants and shopping. The main party area of Chaweng is perhaps a 10-12 minute walk down the road. And one last thing... if you are taking a taxi to Samui airport from the hotel, you can get cheaper by arranging with a licensed taxi from the street. The hotel's posted service is a bit exaggerated.
Good budget hotel
We stayed here for 10 nights. This was the second time I've visited and I'd forgotten how far from the main part of Chaweng this is in. It's about a 20 minute walk into the heart of Chaweng but taxis are cheap enough. The added private beach access over the road is a bonus and I think this is relatively new. I went to a different hotel for a couple of nights as I wanted some luxury. If you're on a budget and want somewhere slightly outside of the action then I would recommend staying here. I think the rooms are beginning to look a little tired and could do with modernising, but they're clean.
Very noce hotel with friendly staff
My stay here was amazing definitely a 5 star hotel. Had a private beach, the all you can eat breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were very clean. Definitely will recommend. Also not too far from the night life
Great Hotel!!!
Truly a Wonderful Hotel and a great experience. Local to the night life and the beach, what more can U ask for.
A nice hotel in the heart of the samui excitment
Nice hotel and the right price. Did not have breakfast but it looked very reasonable . Did try the Thai massage next to the swimming recommend them as very professional!!
Great hotel, a bit far from the center
The hotel is amazing, clean with helpful staff, its far from the center (about 25 min by walk) we were good with that.
Chaweng oasis walking distance to the beach
Arrived after 10pm after a draining work trip, check in was easy, services explained clearly by pleasant receptionist. Staff like all Thais were always smiling and friendly. Room serviced well. Made use of the inhouse spa massage 3 days in a row, found the service to be quite professional and personal. Pool is unfortunately small and shallow, but quite a refreshing treat after the bustle of haggling on the main shopping road starts quite near the hotel. I dined out all the time I was there except for a pizza by the pool, which was lovely, but not sure the dough was made in house but quite tasty with lashings of mozzarella. Check out was easy too
Breakfast
Everything in the hotel is good but the breakfast. We were told the breakfast would start at 7:00. However, when we went to the dinning hall at 7:00, most of food were not ready. What we could have was only bread. So if you say 7:00, do get breakfast ready to eat at 7:00.
1 night in Samui. Comfortable & well located hotel
Stayed here for just a night while catching a flight back to the mainland. Was a really nice hotel and surprisingly affordable. The beach is across the street and all the bars and eateries of Chaweng are a 5-10 min walk away. Hotel organised a car for our early morning airport drop at a reasonable price. Didn't get to use them but there's a nice pool and bar on the premises too. Wouldn't mind spending a few more nights here.
Great value for money. Exceeded our expectations
Warm staff. Design, presentation of food, super!!!
nice but spoiled not giving a little late checkout
Very nice stay, pool very leaving and nice quiet hotel but they didn't give me late check out for free after spending 4 days and having accord membership. my plan was leaving at 5pm, had to leave hotel 3pm. they didn't give me any late check out unless i pay 1000 buts. I think is is not very nice service
Lovely hotel
Delightful hotel with a very helpful, friendly staff, and beautiful refreshing pool. The room was comfortable, the bed was very large and restful, the breakfast was good. Fresh fruit everyday with a variety of egg choices as well as traditional Thai breakfast choices. Would definitely stay here again. A short walk to the beach.
Great spot close to the beach & lots massages .
We head a 3 night stay & it was perfect. The staff here are exceptional always smiling.
Great staff and comfy hotel
We really liked the stay at Mercure Samui - staff were lovely especially front desk and cleaners. Room was excellent, comfy bed nice design.
Definitely not 4 stars
As a travel agent, I was appalled by the view from my balcony of piles of plastic garbage bags just thrown on the ground between the back of the building and a canal. I would not expect this of a four star hotel OR a Mercure property, even having received a good price from hotels.com compared to other sites. All other aspects of the hotel were 3 star as to room (inside), staff, breakfast buffet. However, the disgusting garbage dump view would prevent me from recommending or selling this property.
Generally enjoyed my stay, but I had a lot of difficulty with the wi-fi, which worked fine on my phone but refused to work on my laptop. Also, the place seemed a little understaffed. I never once saw anyone manning the poolside bar. The staff I did encounter were very friendly, helpful and polite, though.
Fairly nice hotel close to the main area of Chaweng beach (a few mins walk to the beach). So if you want to be close to the action but a bit out of the way for more peace and quiet this is a good spot (although the hostel across the street got a bit noisy at night - but this stopped around 11pm). The room was fairly spacious and clean. The pool area was nice and the happy hour cocktails were great. Breakfast was not included like it was at all of the other places we stayed in Thailand and was pricey (I believe it was 250 baht pp). I think for the price it should have been included. The hotel staff were polite and courteous but not quite as friendly and helpful as the staff at some of the other places we stayed (a bit cold). All in all it was an ok hotel. I expected a bit more for the price.
Nice small boutique hotel in the center
I was there for two nights, the room is small and simple but decent and clean. I had everything needed in the room. The bed is ultra comfortable. Amazing sleep on it. The pool is small but it's quiet. The hotel is on the alley of the main road, convenient to go to the food court and shops. There're some mosquitos in the premise but as long as you keep the door close, it should be fine. I enjoyed my stay.
Spacious room, clean and friendly staff
Room spacious, clean, staff very friendly. Breakfast was sufficient. Nice small pool with bar.
Good stay
It looks old from outsides. But it is totally different at interior. Room is clean and comfort. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful.
Excellent hotel in ideal location
We stayed at the Mercure last week for 7 nights. From check in to check out we could not fault the whole stay. The staff are extremely friendly and will help with any requests for information. We spent most late afternoons by the pool and the happy hour made that even more enjoyable - Nar in particular really made us feel especially welcome and makes an excellent cocktail! We were sad to leave on Friday and would book again in a heartbeat if we visit Koh Samui in the future.
Love this hotel!
Perfect hotel! This was booked as a birthday treat for me while I was on my travels and I couldn't be any happier :) Hotel was lovely, room was clean and bed was huge!! Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, they even helped my boyfriend book a surprise meal at an amazing restaurant and called the restaurant to arrange a birthday cake for me. To top it off they left a surprise make up of towels and flowers in my room saying happy birthday! I was sad to leave the hotel after 5 perfect days
Average
Average hotel. Not worth the price!
lovely hotel in quiet area
Lovely hotel nice area sms helpful staff. Only 1 thing i would say somedays not enough beds by pool but apart from that everything .was brilliant.
Very good for short stay in main street
Location: 5 mins walk to beach, 10 mins walk to night market Service: very friendly and smiling staff, very helpful Room: Clean and tidy, simple design and comfortable. The only bad thing is 4 nails on bathroom door are left exposed and easy to get hurt Breakfast: standard morning buffet. French toast and fried eggs are good. Only bad thing is the fly is a bit annoying
Mercure
One night, but nice staff , clean rooms and a great location.
Center Chaweng location
Nice hotel in good location but mould in shower. Very helpful staff.
Boutique Hotel
Pearl in the middle of the ocean. We got the chance to experience one big room and it was a truly boutique hotel. Helpful staff, away from the noisy area. Surrounded by restaurants and 3 minutes away from the beach. Will come back!!!
Lovely hotel in a quieter area
Rooms was very nice and big. Room was cleaned everyday. Close to walk to night life but not noisey in hotel. Pool was very busy, only about 12-14 sun bed so not enough really.
Same nice stay as before - keeping standard.
It's my second stay in this hotel. Hotel is keeping high standard of service, cleanliness. The only minus again is internet - not stable, even after buying "speed internet" there was no change. Reason might be room located quite far from reception (as in swimming pool area seems to be ok) but still was a bit disappointing. Location in Chaweg but in quite part, 10min walking from party center is an attitiude. CLose to the beach, restaurnts, night life.
Mercure Hotel
Was a great hotel, close to town, only problem I found was the air conditioner wasn't the strongest.
Good hotel, but not on the beach
There's absolutely nothing wrong with the hotel itself; large clean room, courteous staff, good wifi, nice small pool, quiet neighborhood. However, at Chaweng there's no boardwalk along the beach, so you most probably want to be in a beachfront hotel for better leisure experience.
Only one night...but a great stay!
We stayed for one night at the Mecure Samui after arriving back from Koh Tao before flying back to Bangkok the next day and loved our stay! It is on Chaweng Beach Road (but the quiet end) so you are near the action and all the restaurants if you want that but it's also quite enough as not to be too intrusive. The Hotel was a great surprise, we had a modern (but still kept to Thai styling) spacious double room, very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom all with a flat screen TV on the wall with plenty of storage and hang space for clothes. We paid about £50 for one night in a double room which didn't include breakfast but as we were leaving early the next morning this didn't bother us. We had spent 7 nights earlier on the trip at the Mantra sumui and though the mantra was very nice with lovely views, it was very much out of the way and VERY expensive compared to here which wasn’t far off. All in all it was a very pleasurable stay and we will definitely book here when we go back to Koh Samui again :)
Average hotel
The hotel itself is in a good position on the Main Street in Chaweng. No access to a beach. The free wifi is non existent unless you sit in the foyer or the pool area and love it dropping out every few minutes. I did say something and was told they are fixing the problem but never saw anyone try. Rooms are clean, hotel could use an update. Allow an extra 10 minutes on checkout as they send housekeeping to check your room before you leave.
Near beach, Clean, Kind staff, Value in money
We lived in 4 different hotels in Thailand during those 11 days. This is the only one set the room in honeymoon style as requested. We also requested the room in a warm colour and they managed it. We brought some traditional food from outside and they kindly heated them for us. The staff there they work to their best to make you feel comfortable, even better than home. I must take time writing these comments to thank those staff. They made the best ending of our vacation. The hotel is super clean, and the decoration is simple but surprisingly attractive (much better than the pictures on the website). The room is large and smells fresh. The location is in the walking distance to centre Chaweng and close to beach.
River view a must
Spent the last 3 nights of our honeymoon here. Service was outstanding, from the pool to the front door we were treated above and beyond any expectations. Granted it is an expensive hotel for Thailand standards but they really shine in their service department. The only thing I was not happy about was the overpriced food and beverages. They charge at prices that are equivalent to US high end hotels - $25 per person for breakfast is just not going to cut it for me, especially since I know we can get a made-to-order breakfast for $6 per person right around the corner. The other odd thing was the late turn-down service. They came to our door at 9pm two nights in a row. Given that it was our honeymoon we were not spending our nights out on the town ;)
The Star rating should not be more than Three. No
When booked through Expedia we expected the Four Star rating as shown. Definitely not a Four Star Hotel.
2 week stay
Very polite and helpful staff, bed sheets always stained
Very nice stay!
Good location, very nice room and loved the bathroom shower. So comfortable! Just what we needed after a long travel.
Nice hotel, lovely room
Everything that you would want from a hotel in Chaweng. Highly recommend. 20 mins walk into town. 5 mins to the beach
Typical for Mercure
As with most Mercure stays, comfortable and well designed. Easy check in process and greeted with a smile. Near the hotel are many good (cheap) restaurant options. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was the pool bar....never staffed during our stay??
Extremely Noisy Room
We got a room with lots of windows facing outside noisy streets. Let me count, one, two, three and four big windows. As the hotel is located at the T-junction of the busiest street near Chaweng beach, it's so noisy that I couldn't sleep until 5AM for the first one night, and 3AM or so for the other 3 nights. Every now and then there's a noisy motorcyle passing by. And for one day at 6AM or so the staff of the hotel turned on the music for the breakfast area, which is exactly outside one of the windows. The music was not bad but still a disturbance. The air-conditoning in my room was noisy too and couldn't stop running even with the room temperature dropped to the pre-set number. Although it's hot I had to turn the fan to low speed to lower the noise level. What a relief I found after I moved to a Lamai hotel later. So my advice to whoever read the notice, please make sure you don't get the four-window room if you book this hotel. You will regret if you get it.
Overall good quality price ratio
We are a coupe and are frequent travellers ,about 6 times a year ,and are in our early thirties. For the price it was very good. However room smelt very musty and mouldy.Chair in room had dirt marks. Bathroom only has shower and sink designcaused water to spill over.Min or no toiletries so bring your own.Bed was comfy. flat screen small tv.mini bar and kettle with complimentary coffee and tea and drinking water offered.Pool is very shallow and small so more of a dipping cooling off place. it was mostly empty when we were there. doesnt get a lot of sun shine. hotel does not book excursions.but plenty tour officesall around. i recommend isra tours. we got the best rates from them. they are about 5 min walk from hotel located under the kosher place restaurant.hotel is about 20 min slow waml or 5 min taxi tuk tuk into the centre of chaweng. it is only a few minute from beach and15 min from airport.serioulsy for the price you can not beat it.over all a pleasant stay and i would recommend it.you get what you pay for so dont expect fancy frills but i have stayed in some terrible three and four star places in italy and other places in the world that cost 5 times more.
enjoyed it
Stayed for one night - the hotel gives you exactly what you pay for. It's a very nice clean hotel. Even though we had a short stay we enjoyed it. Chawwang Beach is a walkable distance... so no issue there. if your rent a scooter than less than 5 min drive to the center of town. If your looking for a longer stay and want to be close to the beach and action - you may want to consider another hotel. Otherwise good value hotel.
excellent pool.
I used the laundry over the road. My laundry came to 60B, where';s the hotel would have cost me close to 700B and being back much later..The pol is a welcome relief from the heat. The room was large, cool and comfortable.
Great service and good price
Good hotel, clean, great staff. However, it is about a 10 minute walk to the beach.
Old and Run down
There are plenty of nicer, newer hotels that are closer to the main road. This hotel was too dated for the price. It was so beat up looking that It just didn't feel that clean. I would not stay here again, next time, somewhere closer and newer.
Great hotel for the price
We only stayed one night on a stop over to koh phangang for our honeymoon but were very impressed about all aspects of the hotel. Very helpful staff.
average but affordable for chaweng
The hotel was ok but our bedroom was very small, you could hardly open the doors of the wardrobe. The rooms could benefit of some painting. The breakfast was not good and it lacks of variety. The swimming pool was nice.
Amazing facilities with pool in front of the beach, beach bar and restaurant, all serving high quality meals and drinks. Room was in the lovely restored old building. the room was large and with 3 balconies. all the details in the room, common corridors and areas are well curated. The beach and hotel facilities within are amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone.
