friendly staff

The hotel was very modern, extremely clean and staff were always very attentive, polite and friendly. It’s in a good location in the town for food, drinks and shops and there was underground parking. The rooftop pool is a fantastic area with amazing views as it’s on the 28th floor. It’s lit up at night and it looks so lovely. We had a free birthday cake for my partner that we weren’t expecting and the price of staying there was very very reasonable as it was a package with the flights. The air con worked well thankfully and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. I would highly recommend others to stay there. Thank you everyone who works there.

Clean and modern.

We had a wonderful stay here. It's an upper class hotel that's managed by a foreigner, so it shows in the quality of the customer service and overall quality of the hotel. The breakfast selections were plentiful and delicious. We highly recommend this hotel.

Second time at this property. First was pre COVID. Nice clean hotel, friendly staff. I like to walk and explore so this was a good choice. Comfortable beds Water pressure for showers 4/5 Overall I’d stay here again :)

Great location and fantastic hotel

Nice but too hot. Avoid in the summer.

Nice hotel, great service and clean room, but ac would not cool room below 24 degrees. Uncomfortable due to heat/humidity when trying to sleep. Highlighted issues to the front of house team, but from evaluating their reply, I suspect it is a common complaint.

Decent hotel

Very pleasant hotel in the middle of the city. It’s a bit unloved at the moment (swimming pool area in particular) but that’s forgiven as we’re in covid-hangover world.

The staff were SO friendly and genuinely wanted to help!! Muoi and Anh stand out the most but everyone was helpful, smiling, and we had a wonderful visit! We’d definitely stay here again!

More like four-star hotel

Good but not enough given the fact that it is ranked five-star. I brought and used a water-filter for shower and felt that the water need to be more cleaned. And breakfast was a little disappointing. It should serve more menu. Overall, it deserves four-star rather than five-star.

The front line Staff Ms DUONGis very nice and helpful, helping me to buy stamps for sending post cards during her non-working time. Very pleasant . Hotel is very clean and new, 10 mins walks from the City centre

The best hotel in Haiphong

The best hotel to stay when in Haiphong. The hotel was fantastic. The service top notch with a good bar serving a range of cocktails and snacks at very reasonable prices. They also have a 30% off happy hour! I visited with my parents and sister in October and the hotel was reasonably quiet, which I will not complain about as it was a very peaceful stay. The views from the room was amazing as we could overlook the city. The swimming pool on the roof was also amazing with stunning views of the city. The gym was fully equipped with a sauna. They also have a spa offering quality massages at very decent prices. Whenever we had any questions, the staff were quick to help and made us feel very welcome and safe in the hotel. One of the staff even warned us that it might get chilly in the evening if we are planning to go for a swim. The rooms were good sizes, clean and with the most comfortable beds. I had the best nights sleep staying here. The staff also recommended and helped us book a karaoke room at a local karaoke bar which was really amazing. There is also a local Korean supermarket outside the hotel and a juice and snack bar which was very handy. I will definitely be visiting the Mercure Hai Phong again on my next visit.

Highly recommended, wonderful staff

The staff we all wounderful. So friendly and helpful, greeting you every time they saw you. We had a lovely meal at the restaurant and the view from the rooftop was amazing.

Just fantastic!

Its a fantastic hotel. Feels very welcoming, all the staff were very friendly. A home away from home. Certainly a brand new hotel as still needs some finer details but can not count this as a fault as the happy welcoming and accomodating staff made up for this. Big thank you for my surprise!!! Could have stayed longer, but there as a stop over before our cruise.

Rooftop pool was awesome! Views and amenities were excellent! Just a great relaxing place to stay, this will be where I land every time I come back to Haiphong!

I love that the hotel was able to upgrade me due to false advertisement. The hotel is at its best. Beautiful view. Staff were all very nice and sweet.

Great hotel with superb breakfast. Fresh, sustainable and tasty. The location of the hotel is top. Close to good restaurants, running streak around the lake and the local brewery. Neighbour with the best “yellow chair” in HP.

하이퐁 지역에서 선택할수 있는 호텔은 다양하지만 조용하고, 깨끗한 환경으로 아주 만족스러운 호텔입니다. 이전에는 반까오 거리에 있는 중소형 호텔에서 머물어 보았는데 방음 장치가 되지않아 너무 시끄러워서 한밤에 잠이 깨곤 했는데, 머큐어 하이퐁 호텔은 아침까지 숙면을 취할수 있습니다. 아침식사 메뉴도 다양하여 좋습니다.
