Staffs are very friendly and room is clean. We also used shuttle services to airport.

Staff were very helpful, rooms were ok, neighborhood was not great.
Hotel is very good and clean. Staff are nice and kind. The only problem is the location is very far from the city.
We stayed here for one night before our flight and found the room to be comfortable, with fully functioning air conditioning—a crucial amenity during the hot month of August. Our dining experience at the on-site restaurant was enhanced by complimentary welcome drinks and *suppli*, which added a thoughtful touch to the meal. The included breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including several suitable for vegetarians, making for a pleasant start to the day.
Staff is extremely nice. It’s too far from center of Rome.
Clean facilities, very helpful staff, breakfast buffet was great and delicious….highly enjoyed and recommendable
No AC work, mosquitos in room, dirty atmosphere, pet smell from entire room lobby, no bath accessory, night time no one answers. we all sick after staying 1 night to this hotel.
Great staff
General observations: 1) Very lazy of the management not to have the pool area updated - the pool that they recommend is €8-10 euros and 5-10 mins away. 2) The rooms are tired and in need of renovation - I’ve stayed in other Mercure hotels and this one needs an update. I would say it’s comfortable, but when you can see wallpaper lines - it’s time to strip the walls and go again. 3) Staff are friendly and helpful 4) I was worried about the Ukrainian residents, but they were very quiet and respectful.
The common areas were nice. We are regular travelers familiar with major city pricing such as NYC and Paris, etc, but the value ratio was tight here. Our rooms had a distinctive mildew smell from the A/C units. The person who checked us in gave us two rooms next to each other and both were adjoining rooms, but not to each other. The tub/shower pops when you stand in it. Some road noise. The breakfast was a great value at 12 euros pp for a good spread - go for it! The shuttle to the airport was expensive at 60 euros but less expensive than two taxis for our family of six which were $120. The shuttle must be reserved in advance via email or in person. FCO is a good 20 minutes away via shuttle or 15 mins via insane taxi without traffic.
This was our second time and definitely will book again
Nothing exceptional. No ac.
Rude staff breakfast food didn’t arrive on time bus stop staff clueless about attraction in the area
Overall was good but rooms are small and condition of hotel was old. Better to stay near city
Rooms were clean and relatively comfortable (pillows quite hard). Staff were helpful and polite. My only criticism would be the restaurants menu as it was quite limited
Great shuttle service to airport. I was there only for one night. Liked it
It has very sociable staff, its clean, the breakfast was good too.
good hotel overall.
Room was spacious. Employees very nice and helpful
Clean and quiet, not accessible to transportation and too far from the city, and no restaurant close by.
Rooms were spacious and restaurant was awesome
If I had known that the hotel doubled as a Ukrainian refuge, then I probably would have booked somewhere else. I have nothing against Ukrainian people, but it was very clear that there were entire families living at this hotel for free, and there were kids rollerblading and scootering down the hallways and doing random school work in the middle of the lobby.. It just didn’t feel like a hotel and wasn’t at all what I expected.
I picked this property for the free shuttle and reviews weren’t terrible… the shuttle service is a disaster… the driver and us were on two different levels at the FCO for pick up. We did find each other after 15minutes but the drive was clearly pissed off. He was rude and short with us and drove like a maniac. I could understand if he needed to get back to pick up someone else or something but the guy just ended up talking to the people at guest services. I did tell the check in attendant and she told me it was ok, clearly it isn’t. Our room wasn’t ready which i find amusing since it is a big establishment and barely any guests. When we finally were allowed to go to our room it reeked of perfume. It smelled like the room was doused to cover up the other smells. The hallway to our room smelled like mildew and mood with a touch of cleaner on top. The bed wasn’t a true queen - it was 2 box springs put together and there was no fitted sheet just a sheet laying on mattresses. It isn’t close to anything. I would not recommend and will never stay there again.
VERY POOR / UNACCEPTABLE hotel shuttle service from airport. Waited 3 hours after a 12 hour flight. Eventually took a $45 taxi!! (vs. free hotel shuttle)
Tired looking hotel with not friendly staff
The hotel is in the middle of no where. No food or markets around when we arrived at 11pm. Promised free shuttle from airport was not provided. Had to pay for taxi 40 euros. But provided breakfast for free to compensate.
Lovely room shame about the rest
We booked this for one night as a relaxing treat to use the pool and spa after a week away, found out 2 days before that the spa and pool was closed, no appologies given or anything. On the morning of our stay there was some sort of filming going on which meant we had to use the stairs instead of lifts! Again no apology. Pleasant room, shame the air con didnt go below 27 all night and day! Breakfast was a definite plus, good choice of hot and cold. Overall i wouldn’t recommend staying to anyone i know
A good play to stay but 20 minutes from the airport.
Staff very nice. Pool was closed
GREAT LOCATATION AND FRIENDLY STAFF
Staff class
Staff amazing. So friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice poor and breakfast staff not very efficient or keen to work.
Arrived late at night with a small child. Check in was extremely fast and accommodating. Room and hotel were spotless. Breakfast available is also a breakfast buffet with lots to choose from.
I liked the neighborhood and the cleanliness. I was told no airport shuttle so spent 50 euro on a taxi from the airport only to be able to use it in the morning to get to the airport, which I appreciated. The food was ho hum and the air conditioning did not work. The staff were friendly.
We picked this property for the free shuttle service from Rome’s airport but after booking found out it only operated on a limited time and never received a reply that we had a spot on the 5 person van. It turned out our flight was delayed and we paid for an overpriced taxi.
We booked this property based on the amenities and free airport shuttle service advertised, non of which were available. All amenities (pool, sauna, fitness room, etc.) were closed and no shuttle service. While they did arrange a car for us, we had to pay quite a bit of money for the trip to and from the airport. Very disappointing on our last day of our vacation. If we had known, we would have booked a different hotel closer to the train line or with shuttle service. Their website is still advertising free shuttle service; not cool.
Very good
The hotel is fine, but it's NOT an airport hotel! It's a 20 minute drive from the airport. The free shuttle was hard to arrange, we had to wait for it for 2 hours, and it wasn't available for our early morning trip back to the airport. If you can't stay at the Hilton, the only hotel near the airport, it would be better to stay by the train station and take the train into the airport. I wish this was clear on Expedia.
The internet was very poor, but overall my husband and I had a great stay.
Very clean and staff very welcoming.
Uncomfortable bed and pillows. lights is very dark. Tv didn’t work. Room was clean. Very noisy in hallway.
Very disappointed with the attention and service of front desk. The room assigned had a problem with the door lock, no shuttle service available, front desk officer was attending phone calls and we had to wait until He decided to attend us, it was 11 pm traveling with children and a senior and he was rude
such a great place the staff were so accommodating thank you Gemma and Nura and Veronica for the best time we will really miss you. From Lindsay and Theodora Sellier
Will recommend Mercure Roma West to all of my friends. Great service and excellent staff
love this place! the staff helped all the time!
The dining hours were average. Wish they included more midday dining options. Also wish they had a shuttle to the CIA airport. I think these two options will help your business thrive more. But other than that you were well accommodating for what I needed.
The lobby is okay. The staff not very friendly. The room is gross. The carpet disgusting, the bathroom horrible, not very clean and no soap. Beds not very comfortable although clean sheets. There’s some room freshener in the room that is overpowering. The bathroom smelled like someone was smoking all night. Shuttle service starts at 7:30 and our flight was at 6 so no shuttle and cab was €45 to FCO. Would not recommend.
There were no outlets next to bed and we couldn’t use the airport shuttle. Our flight left at 0800 but the shuttle service doesn’t start until 8.
Staff needs to be updated on green passes from countries other than EU. I have Canadian green pass which is to be accepted in Italy as per the ministero della salute web site stating the Canadian pass is to be accepted in Europe. Yet I am constantly having to explain this to staff at check in.
I emailed them three times trying to inquire and request shuttle service. I never received a response. The website said that I could arrange a shuttle to the airport any time outside the normal shuttle hours but when I got to the hotel they said that it wasn’t possible to get the shuttle when I needed it.
The front desk charged me more for my room on arrival. They insisted that two people needed more than a queen bed so we needed to pay for a bigger room. (I have a queen bed at home and it is more than adequate). They would not give me the room I booked originally. The other hotels in the area were sold out so I had no choice but to pay the extra. The staff were very rude. The shuttle, despite me calling ahead of time to make it would be available for us, would not be available for us when we needed it. No explanation. No apology. The room service order was wrong. They got angry when we pointed it out and wanted a refund for items we didn’t order and for wanting the times we did order. The staff were very unhelpful and downright rude. I would not stay at this hotel again.
The airport shuttle was a lifesaver. The staff, the common areas and the food were all wonderful. Our room was not so great. The bed was literally as hard as a board, extraordinarily uncomfortable. The floor and walls were a little in disrepair, the walls so thin we could hear the room next door talking and yelling late into the night.
OK but could use improvement
The good: every hotel worker I came in contact with was polite and helpful. Breakfast was a little above average but would have been much better if it was more self serve. Especially if there were a coffee machine or self serve coffee. Housekeeping came in every day to make the bed and replace used towels. I believe personal belongings were never tampered with but there was a small safe available. The average: Bed mattress was thin and bed was hard. Bathroom was made of good materials but shower door was hard to close and the toilet wasn’t solidly fastened to wall or floor, thus a concern it was going to break off. The thermostat for heat was fixed at a setting that was barely warm enough. Breakfast had scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, croissants, bacon, and a variety of fruits and veggies. No sausage or beans. Fresh options available but were always precooked. The bad: carpet in the room should have been changed out a few years ago. Room service came in every day but the carpet looked worn and filthy with old stains. Outside the window was a nice glass-roof mezzanine-type structure but it’s apparent the glass hasn’t been cleaned for months or longer, so what would be a classy view looks dirty. Mattress was about 5 inches thick on top of box springs and it was a bit hard. And you need to ask the restaurant reception for coffee as soon as you walk in as otherwise you’ll have to flag down one of the table clearers which is hard to do when they’re busy.
It’s a nice hotel! Delivered on its promises so far. Scheduled the shuttle and waiting for it. We will see if everything works out. We got the hotel for this reason-free shuttle to hotel. Taxi prices are high and some cabbies are corrupt, charging what they want and not turning on meter. But that was one person. The three others were great and honest!
Did not stay at this property because it was shown to be near the airport but was not! There is an identically named hotel which IS the airport location, but Expedia did not indicate this adequately. Therefore we booked the wrong hotel & lost the entire amount paid. Did stay at the airport location & it was most satisfactory. Very frustated over misleading info on Expedia.
We didn’t stay there! We got the wrong Mercure….
Unable to control room temperature
It is very dated. The staff was friendly and courteous. The shuttle service was ok but it needs to be much more clear that it is a « reserve » service so one doesn’t stand at the pick up location wondering where the shuttle is. E contacted the hotel numerous times to tell them we were at the airport but our first response came 6 hours after we arrived at the hotel by taxi
Bad services, bad food, lack of info about spa
The hotel didn’t inform that pool, gym ana spa is closed due to corona situation, however in Florence Horel the pool was open. The breakfast was ok, but all the spile eag , bacon, … and other food which expected to be warm was cold. We experienced to served with rotten eags which was disgusting. The reception wasn’t friendly. The breakfast staffs could not speak English. My mom rooms has problems with El-kettel, phone and electricity. We were not satisfied. If we knew that the spa services were closed we never booked this hotel. I am unfortunately very very unsatisfied and do not recommend thus hotel.
Outdated room. AC dimension not appropriate to the room.
There was a lot of hair on the bathroom floor and some in the tub. Air conditioner never cooled to below 28 C. Stated there was shuttle service to airport, but did not begin until 7:30 AM, but was full. Only available time was 9 AM, my international flight departed at 9:40 AM, had to pay for a taxi.
The room had a broken chair and an air conditioning unit that did not work adequately on an extremely hot day. We requested another room which was granted only to find that air-conditioning unit also barely worked. The bed was lumpy and extremely uncomfortable. It was a hot, miserable night.
Loved the property for the price. Super friendly staff, clean room, & excellent restaurant.
Welcome back in the 80s. This is a very old hotel; it needs to be fully renovated or tear down. Receptionists were ok same if it took us too much time to check in, they help us to book a shuttle at 4 am for the airport as free shuttle starts at 6 am. Room was old and smell. We had a lunch in this hotel the last day, took 1 hour and a half to get food after ordering it ☹ You had to pay to use the swimming pool (why?). Fitness was closed due covid. Breakfast was ok. Major disappointment.
Overall very good, english speaking staff very helpful. Enjoyed a lovely stay. Would have been nice to have been warned in advance about "tourist tax"
Clean Hotel and very helpful nice staff. Very convenient if you want to stay close to the Fiumicino Airport and close to the city
One night, flying visit.
One night stay in July. Weather was warm and the air conditioning in room did not appear to work. Didn’t use the restaurant as I arrived late and left early. However the restaurant looked modern and well decorated. Bedrooms a little outdated
The room was prepared with the extra bed as requested and was really nice and clean. The shuttle request and responses were sent through Expedia this made communication confusing or difficult when you don't know about it. Taking a taxi was not bad we negotiated it for 40 euros for 5 people.
The staff was really Great!! The breakfast buffet was the best I've ever seen. It included lots of fresh fruit and a juicer. The room was wonderful and bed nice and comfortable
Nice hotel...clean and modern, comfortable. Nice restaurant. My only very minor complaint is that it really isn't that close to the airport. Otherwise, an excellent stay and I will be returning there next week.
Location convenient for the airport. The hotel is OK but could use maintenance
Nothing is unique about this property. It's just a good enough hotel in the area where we needed to be. I did get food poisoning here at breakfast which was a bad experience for me. I shall think twice before booking this hotel again.
professional service ,dining, accomodating staff, recommend for business
the property is located away from everything the staff is nasty not helpful or friendly they advertiste free shuttle from the airport to the hotel not TRUE I WAITED FOR OVER 3 HOURS i had to take a cab cost me 60 euroes
I have to say The people at the front desk is not that nice an the female employees or female employees in that front area is rude but everybody else is wonderful everyone in the restaurant every single one men and women who work in the restaurant is excellent especially Eric Eric is amazing anybody go on visit there ask for Eric he’s a wonderful person and Tommy the bartender he will make you the best drink ever
Great services and great breakfast
Was nice to have shuttle from airport. Two meals at the restaurant were fabulous. Staff very friendly and professional
It had daily room service which was impressive however it’s too far away from central Rome
My only issue was with the attitude of the shuttle bus drivers - surly and ‘ couldn’t care less’
Hotel and staff excellent, but I will never recommend this hotel-Mercure to any of my friends who aré going to Rome next month because it is far, very far from the center of Rome. In my opinion the gentleman from Expedia who dealt with me regarding this trip mislead me, regarding the hotel location. I hope, I will not face the same problem with my next trip this coming October to Thailand .
Too far from airport! Promised a free breakfast on line did not happen
The guest services were super helpful and friendly for all my needs.
Good choice but out of town
Lovely business hotel. Far from the city centre but excellent facilities. Good for links to airports and coast
Old carpet smell. The hotel is not at all near airport took a good drive. Costs about 50-60 Euros one way from airport. Room wasn’t ready when we got there at 1am tired. Booked for three so we waited for 3rd bed to be brought in. Carpet needs changing smells and with stains. Sheets are not soft. Lunch buffet is not worth the 18euros mostly pizza and pasta and salad no meat served but some lemon pork strips. Shuttle available but certain times. Starts after 7am and ends at 10pm so if you have an early flight can’t use it.
Excellent facilities. Fabulous restaurant. Kindly staff. The hotel is not city centre. So have a car available
Rooms were not cleaned properly. Cups / plates left in room. A/C didn't work in kids room. Breakfast was cold and repetitive. Wellness centre was closed
A standard hotel with everything you need. The swimming pool was closed without notice disappointed us a bit.
Great stay for night before returning home..
The food was great. The service at the restaurant was outstanding. The customer service at the front desk was very accommodating and we appreciated the efforts made to get my family and I a space on the free shuttle to the airport. The room was a great value for a family of 4.
Property looked new and was well taken care of. Breakfast had many varities. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Loved the free train and airport shuttle. Would definitely go back.
It is too far as an “airport “ hotel. It costs me 80€ for the transfer although it is called an airport hotel by your website and you stated it has free airport shuttle. Misleading information like this cost money and time from customers like me. Do not have it listed as an airport hotel please.
Helpful staff. Breakfast choices are excellent. Very clean rooms.
Property was clean and up to date. Staff was very friendly. Only downside was very loud happy hour.
peaceful and quiet in our assigned floor, lobby is always full at the time of our stay, staff are trustworthy. the place is a little bit far from the attractions but transportation is always easy as this is provided for the hotel which is a plus.
i liked the front desk reception People they were amazing, the atmosphere of the hotel was nice, the breakfast was nice, i didn't like that i don't have an Iron in my room its so annoying to leave my room to use the only Iron near the reception area thank you.
Note: this hotel is roughly halfway between the centre of Rome and the Fiumicino airport, so it is not good for tourist purposes. There is a free shuttle to the nearest metro and the airport, but it is very infrequent. Given that, the hotel is quite good for the price. My room was spacious, though the bathroom was a bit cramped with some gymnastics required to get around inside. The water was very hot, and there were lots of shampoo, soap, towels etc. But in the shower mode, there is no tub barrier, and so the water goes onto the floor - it can get quite wet based on how long you do your showers. The temperature controls are fidgety. For a couple of days, I could not get the auto temp to set below 22 C, and then suddenly it started working. There is a window that opens about 20 cm. The breakfast is fantastic, with lots of options. The beds are quite comfortable and the room service very fast and good. They also give you two bottles of water a day complimentary as well as coffee in the machine below between 11:30 pm and 6:30 am. The hotel is big and the lobby and sitting areas are spacious and comfortable. Outside the hotel, there is pretty much nothing to do and you have to take a taxi or the shuttle to get anywhere.
Very fair hotel but gets you to rome
This hotel is in a not so nice part of Rome and although the hotel offers a shuttle service, there are local buses that run frequently for the same ticket you use for the train into town. The building and rooms themselves are beautiful but the advertised indoor pool does not allow children. The hotel food is quite good and reasonably priced for lunch and dinner options but much of the breakfast buffet has obviously been left out too long and for the price, isn't worth it. The staff are mostly quite nice and comfortably multilingual and tried to be helpful but be prepared to call several times or wait in line before reaching someone.
Very nice!
Very nice! Good location, close to a big shopping mall.
Have stayed at this locations on three separate occasions, staff is always eager to help, rooms always clean. Every trip to Rome this is the place I will stay.
Overpriced & Under Delivery On Value,
It's a nice Hotel overall, however the Rooms are Small, the Walls are not good to isolate the noise, so one hears everything that is going on within the Foyer, all the noise. Plus the Service is not that good in the Restaurant, they do a half good Job of being Friendly when serving you and at one stage when it wasn't busy, the Person at the Register to process payments, took more than 20 Minutes to serve 5 Customers, to complete their bills and take payments. Furthermore, on the Day of the 15.10.2018, I got a call to my Room at 6:10 am in the Morning waking me up, which I didn't request, with the excuse "sorry wrong number", very annoyed about that as I wanted to sleep in. For the Value one receives it's overpriced! The good things are: The Shower is great, the Beds are comfortable and wi-fi is okay, could be faster, and the Breakfast is great too. The Hotel needs an update/renovation, to improve the isolation, Restaurant Service Staff need training on how to service Customers better and the Rooms should be bigger for what they are charging.

Staffs are very friendly, room was clean.
