TravellerVery nice hotel and good location, the only disappointment was the very limited gym. We always try and find a hotel with a gym and this hotel only had a token gym. They could easily fit a multi-functional weight lifting machine in the space which would make it far more useful.

The Mercure Chartres is ideally placed for walking round the town near the cathedral. The staff were excellent. The breakfast was also good. Sadly the room was small and stuffy. It had air conditioning but you can’t set it lower than 21 c. The beds were 2ft 6 in singles. I would expect more for £150 per night
TravellerA quick stop on the way to Paris that was wonderful. The Mercure is located centrally and we were able to see the light shows around town. The people at the Mercure were helpful, friendly and very efficient. Would stay here again.
