Beautiful Chalet in a beautiful town!

Beautiful hotel and room. Very comfortable and cozy. The living room is couch is off and u comfortable to sit on. Water in the jacuzzi needs to be hotter. Best steam room!

Close to the train station and the centre of town - had a wonderful stay. Warm and clean, good balcony to rest on n in the evening.

A lovely hotel with beautiful decor in a great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Unfortunately there were a number of guests choosing to disrespect the rules in the swimming area and taking smartphones into an area where everyone (including children) was in bathing suits. Would have appreciated staff enforcing the 'no phones/cameras' rule with these guests as they were making people feel uncomfortable.

Beautiful location, pretty new hotel, great breakfast. Very eco friendly. Our kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

Excellent hotel in nearly all respects with good value for money. The only issues were that we needed a fridge in the room. The room was very warm even with the heating off which required that the window be left open. The problem with that being that we were woken up by the first train of the day, which was outside the room window, at 07:10 every morning which is a little inconvenient. Also, black (or breakfast or English) tea in the room. Infusions are not any good.

Very modern, lovely decor…excellent spa and staff

Fabulous hotel, staff was outstanding. Jacuzzi’s could have been warmer but jets were strong for a good calf massage after a long day of skiing! Spa was lovely, sauna and hammam were very hot which was great. Rooms not large but adequate. We had a group of 8 rooms, mostly couples and all were pleased. We would stay there again for sure.

Such a great hotel! Everything was modern, clean and new. The pool/sauna were great, even though the hot tubs were a little on the cooler side. If we come back to Chamonix we will definitely stay here again!

Nice vibe / spa / staff

Nothing short of amazing. The hotel is beautiful, very clean, the rooms are big and comfortable and has top notch facilities. Parking was very convenient, if you reserve with time they offer covered parking within the building and direct access to the rooms for 30 euros a night. It was easy to manouver. Otherwise there is a public parking right next to the hotel, so it is very friendly if you get by car, but also by train as it is right next to the train station. It is also very conveniently located, close to commercial streets with tons of shops and restaurants. The facilities are very good, especially the spa and the pool, which can be visited until 8pm in the winter. Breakfast was also great, with tons of options. Finally, the staff in general was very nice and serviceable. As a plus many employees speak Spanish, which is my native language, so it was really helpful. I would stay again without a doubt.

The location is great, next to the main train station and station to Mers de Glace. Walkable to restaurants, shops, and supermarkets. Also walkable to Planards. Hotel itself is quite new and clean. Rooms are modern and very tidy, they do a great job cleaning each day. Only complaints are that the breakfast is expensive and average. The WiFi is very weak and unusable. One morning there was no hot water at all and we couldn’t shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. There were no glasses or ice etc in the room but we were able to get everything we need from. The reception or the bar downstairs.

The property is well located on the edge of the pedestrian zone, easy access to restaurants and mountains. The room arrangements are highly unusual with a wall with two doors separating the bed area from the sofa area. The sofa itself was extremely uncomfortable - it can be converted into a bed but the minute you sit on it, the seat cushion keeps sliding out over the front edge. Another major annoyance is that the space is so dark. It has some interesting and attractive accent lighting but there is no overhead lighting. You absolutely cannot read a book in the living room. There are only two small lights in the bedroom - there is a desk-like area in the bedroom but it is way too dark to do anything. Be aware that the hotel is located in two building - we had to go outside to go to breakfast.

I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return. It's very calm, quiet and relaxing and exceptionally clean. The Spa is really good and the location is ideal, just a short walk from town and restaurants or the train station and bus stop.

A lovely calm, welcoming eco hotel with stunning spa area

The hotel is very well located close to town and to the main train station. The spa was nice and so was the breakfast. We had an issue with our radiator that was making a really really loud noise to the point we had to change room 2 times. the pillows are not comfortable I would recommend the hotel getting better quality pilows. Overall it’s good

Bad Service and the Spa is bad

Helpful and friendly staff beautiful hotel with stunning mountain views a short walk from the town. Only slight negative was the spa pools and hot tubs weren't that warm when we went there

New hotel, very clean, nice design. Friendly staff. But not really soundproofed walls, you can hear every word from hall or next room. However, seems guests were placed far from our room, so I heard next room just ones and after that just people from the hall. My staying was pretty quiet and calm. Breakfast pretty boring, no veggies at all. But all products are fresh and delicious! Very convenient area - calm part but in the center. And SPA nice addition. However, the most useful was the steam room. Pool, jacuzzi, and outside sauna were way too cold. Just ones in 12 day jacuzzi was warm (not hot). But for Instagram content SPA looks amazing. In general the hotel is very comfortable for holidays or skiing (convenient transportation to all spots). You can rent out at the hotel, but my personal experience was not good, as stuff weren't fits, so skiing was a torture. Previous independent rent (next few streets away) - gave me more fitted equipment.

Probably wouldn't stay again.

For Americans it is the equivalent of staying in an Ikea hotel with terrible service. Check in unwelcoming and curt, as well as resturant and bar. Our room (140) was next to the stairs so we heard people walking up them drunk and loud late into the night, then as early as 6am familes walking down them. Ask to move to but they were all booked. Shower door did not seal properly so bathroom floor flooded They are all about being eco friendly, so much so that when we pulled the sheets back we realized our bedding had probably not been changed because there was long brown hair on it. Shower door did not seal at the bottom properly so it flooded the bathroom. Breakfast was meh. For the price there are far better places to stay. Willing to give further details if asked

Cozy hotel. Beautiful room with big space. Al the decoration was warm a cozy. Helpful staff Breakfast had everything, a lot o variety and all fresh. They just need to add gluten free opticon! Hotel close to everything, literally walk distance.

The hotel itself was lovely, the staff however were not. Me and my partner got shouted at by a member of staff and accused of stealing when we were told we could have a coffee in the morning without paying, we complained about this to the manager who didn’t seem overly interested and resolved it by saying we could have a coffee in the morning for the rest of the stay, my partner was then refused a bit of milk to put in the coffee by the members of staff and said we would have to pay for breakfast which is €22 pp if we wanted a dash of milk in our coffee. The hotel was lovely and the surrounding area was beautiful. The staff however tarnished the stay unfortunately

Perfect French Alps stay

Perfect place to stay visiting the French Alps. Lykke Hotel is centrally located close to good restaurants, shopping and train station and the Aguille du midi.

Great location, good facilities

Good location, close to everything from shopping to dinning to attractions. The only thing I would say is that their pool, jaccuzzi and gym could be open later. When we are in Chamonix, we are out and about until diner time and it would be nice to go to the gym or the hammam after 8pm. Being open until 10pm would give us the options to use the property utilities. Thank you!

This should be the hotel of choice if you stay in Chamonix. Good location and decent breakfast.

Great location, clean room, friendly staff, shower could be bigger, air conditioning could be better. Breakfast was good but a little bit expensive for what they offer.

There should be atleast few facilities like water and breakfast should be included in the price we paid. There was no facility provided at all.

Chamonix overnight

Service is exceptional by front desk and support staff. Rooms are small and dated. The room price is ok for what you are getting but restaurant is way overpriced, happy hour advertised but prices make it not worth going. Back side of hotel is not maintained anywhere close to front side. Nice spa.

This was a great choice for us. The hotel is right next to the train station, and very close to all the shops and restaurants in the town. The room is large, comfortable and has a balcony with beautiful view. There is no fridge in the room, but there is a kettle and coffee/tea. The included breakfast was excellent. From the hotel you can easily walk to the gondolas. The Mount Brevelent gondola is a 20 minute (walk up hill). There are great hiking trails at the top, or you can just watch the paragliders. It's very easy to purchase a ticket for this gondola which opens at 8:15am. The Aiguille du Midi - Chamonix cable car is the main attraction gondola for Mont Blanc. it is very busy and you should purchase your ticket in advance. We were there in August, and the first few days were sold out for the time we wanted. This gondola is mainly for photos, but we saw a lot of experienced hikers (with ropes & ice pics). Chamonix is a great town.

The hotel feels like a budget hotel - it definitely doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. It all needs updating - especially rooms and hallways to rooms. The service also provided by staff is not that of a 4 star. We did not have a good experience checking in. Staff extremely slow and not very attentive. Given the hotel is meant to be family friendly, simple facilities are missing such as fridges in the rooms and a laundry service - which are really useful with travelling with a young baby. Also we were not told there was height restriction for the car park - so have now damaged roof box. The hotel is pet friendly and you pay a fee, but nothing is provided for pet I.e. water bowl, a biscuit etc. these are simple and cheap things that that should be provided for a 4 star hotel when paying an extra pet fee. The only positives are location and the spa / pool. I wouldn’t book here again. The hotel is really lacking for a 4 star hotel.

Nice location and friendly staff. The spa opened the second night of my stay and it was a welcome relaxtion after a days climbing.

Good location, great service, rooms are small

Very Good location, staff was very friendly, lobby was well maintained and relaxing. Great services. Welcome drinks on arrival, premises was clean overall. Views to Mont Blanc were great from hotel. Stayed in 2 room family room setup and there was not enough space to move around, had no table and chair to sit inside room. No chairs in balcony was a bad setup to relax outside. Overall good experience but some things to improve on. Will be back but will consider asking for a better setup next time.

Staff was v helpful. The water bottle and welcome drinks were a nice bonus. Delicious breakfast.

Excellent hotel and location. It is under new ownership and in the middle of renovation, so you can hear construction noise at times and areas are unfinished. Staff is very accommodating and the rooms are wonderful.

Great place to stay in Chamonix!

A very nice place. Staff was very friendly. Coffee situation was a little difficult.

There was alot of loud construction noise during the day. I was not made aware of this when I booked the hotel. I did like the double sink and modern bathroom. I also liked thed the terrace and heater. The beds were vwry comfortable.

Very convenient. Walkable for everything. Clean and quiet. I liked it dry much.

Great for a short stay

Friendly staff, great location and eco friendly. Refillable water bottle a nice touch. Would go back especially when the pool/spa is complete. The only bad thing about the stay was that we couldn’t eat dinner in the hotel as there were two functions that meant the restaurant was out of use for guests. Also the fitness suite was full of luggage! Nobodies fault and plenty of other options in the town but would have been good to know in advance when there for a short trip.

We liked proximity to town and the modern feel of the hotel. Staff were very helpful. We were disturbed on a couple of nights with partying in the street despite having windows and doors firmly closed).

Booked this hotel last year under Accor group, Mercure. However, they were aquired by Lykke during our stay.The half board option that we booked was really disappointing! We stayed 2 nights at the hotel & the food served was the same, despite having different menu. After staying in so many hotels that provide meal options, this is the first time i've experience this. 1st night, we had daily vegetable soup, the catch of the day (fish) & chicken breast pasta with mushroom sauce. 2nd night, daily vegetable soup was the same and the main course was supposed to be duck confit but we were told it was not available & we were given chicken breast with vegetable in the same mushroom sauce that was used for the pasta previous night! The reason given was that we did not reserve for the duck confit earlier. Regardless, the hotel should have allocated enough ingredients for the people who has booked half board. Also it doesnt seem to be full at the restaurant, so i wonder how many portions of duck confit did they prepare. The other option of catch of the day(fish is not fresh) was exactly the same as pervious night as well! We did feedback to the staff that night. I don't recommend to add on the half board option. There're better restaurants around the corner. The hotel rooms was clean nicely renovated. Drinking water provided. WC & shower is separated. No camera at room corridor.Coincidently, a cup of yellow liquid was placed right at our doorstep, not sure if it's a prank.

Good location and very comfortable

Location was amazing, the staff was great. Loved the morning breakfast. High quality European breakfast. Easy walk to busses for skiing. Bars, shopping, and restaurants all within a block to a few minutes walk. Would definitely stay again.

Great location, steps from shopping, eating, right beside the train station. Totally walkable. Bus pick up for skiing is right across the pedestrian bridge by train station. Would stay again!

Spa and swimming pool not even finished!!! Your site was advertising and showing pictures of spa facilities, which is very very misleading. Gym is just for show, there was nothing there that can be of any use to average gym goer.

Conveniently located in the center, next to the train station (very quite though). A bit of a waliking distance to the Ski bus stops, which might be a challenge with the skis. Half-board is available, but the menue doesn't change through the week. Ratger snall bathroom even by the European standards. Everything else and the stuff were excellent!

Our stay

We were housed in a seperate building, room was clean but very basic. No milk for the coffee machine etc.

Hotel is old with some rooms refurbished to a shabby, cheap decor, green carpet and cheap fixtures of a hostel. Standard rooms are small and not cozy. Lobby which supposedly has been upgraded, features plastic tree decor that belongs in a kindergarten. Awkward layout for breakfast, you’re either running into people or the plastic trees. Employees have no clue about directions. Stay away!!

Everything was perfect about the Hotel. From the friendly and informative staff (all of the front desk crew especially Matil, and 3 others, the fantastic breakfast buffet spread (halal sausages was a plus point for Muslims), the location is fantastic just 5 mins walking to the train station and 10 mins walking to town. We are thinking of coming back soon and hope to get the same room (room 104) again for that stay!

Great ski location

Great location. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious. Access to ski lockers and rental at the hotel was great.

Hotel is not complete

We were in the new section which were still in construction and we had to cross thé Road for thé réception and thé breakfast Also the main lobby to get to our room look really sad and was too dark(not enough lights) The room we had give View of the Mountain but unfortunatly had construction site and Big container of trash thé price should have been lower for this reason Also it’s called hôtel and Spa but thé spa is not ready yet And service at réception is good but long But I think Next year they will maybe have finish construction and will have thé spa but for this year didn’t like my expérience there

This is a great location as it is just a short walk to town and the lift. There was a bit of noise from people outside late at night but everything else was excellent. Staff was very accommodating and food was great.

After our long ride to Chamonix, the bus stopped right in front of this hotel! Friendly staff, comfortable roon.

The hotel was nice but fell short of amenities advertisezed on the web site. The spa was in part of another hotel - the restaurant was closed. It was overpriced for what it is.

The staff was extremely helpful and as accommodating. Providing drinking water stations at every floor is an amazing commodity. We stored luggage here for 10 days which was simple and inexpensive. Close to everything but not on the main strip. Exceptional breakfast buffet. Highly recommend.

Love the view from our room. Staff were very helpful and friendly. However there was some loud music from a nearby establishment in the evening both nights we were staying. The hotel offers a nice view of the mountain but it is also close to the train station, so you can hear the train passing and the loud music until like 9pm. The room could get very hot at night in late June/ early July if you close all the windows during your sleep.

The room didn’t have a proper chair, just a low stool (maybe 18”). There was no A/C, no bar fridge, no ice machine.

The hotel room was neat and clean. The hotel was within easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants.

Excellent place in Chamonix

Great location, but actually it's not a real 4 star. The refrigerator was not in its designated place. The separated toilets (an advantage) but without a separate sink. The shower does not really prevent wetting outside the shower. The carpet is not clean. The heating barely worked.

The hotel location is perfect it is accesable by car but you can also walk to center with few steps. The breakfast was good the only egg option is scrambled there is not even boilled eggs. We had problem with the reception checking in and checking out they were very rude and unhelpfull. We arrived at the totel around 2.00 pm and the reception lady told us that the check in starts at 4.00pm I asked her if she could ask may be the room is ready withouth asking she said it is not ready. There was a gentelman with a walky talky look like the manager he called and learned that the room was ready and we were able to check in. When we were checking out we see that there was a charge of breakfast for the first date we told her it is wrong and ask to clear it as breakfast for one person is 22 euro and we were group of 4 she act as if it is our mistake we had to wait 10 minutes as she called many places she did not even apologise for the mistake and waste our time. Other than the receptioners other staf were friendly and helpfull. The train railroad just behind te hotel but there are not much trains so it did not bother us.

We had a view of Mont Blanc, which was just simply stunning to wake up to every morning. The room was beautiful and well equipped and very homely and cosy. Staff were friendly and water refills were available throughout. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend. Only downfall for me, was that in my opinion, the breakfast wasn't worth the cost (if not included in your package). But other than that, I loved everything about the hotel.

Very nice hotel with excellent location

Conveniently located with parking next to hotel. Service was generally good but staff walked into room while ‘Do not Disturb’ showing on door. No aircon and very noisy at night.

Great location as its close to everything in chamonix. Room was very spacious and comfortable. The views are fantastic. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. If I’m lucky enough to return to this magnificent area I will be staying here again
