Very lovely hotel. Lucky my husband was able to carry my suitcase down the stairs to our bedroom.

The lobby is fun and the cafe is excellent with staff that speak English. They were very kind and accommodating as I was traveling alone. Rooms are clean, not a great mattress or pillows but for the convenience of the train station and price it was great.

Super straightforward, clean, great staff, very easy and friendly. Great breakfast. All good., way more enjoyable than the value price would suggest

It is right opposite to the train station and trams and buses. Perfect location. It is an old hotel with old fashion furniture like wall to wall carpets which does not look hygienic. The tv does not have any English news channels. Other wise it is fine. The tea and coffee set in the room is a good addition

Great hotel. Modern, clean, quiet, well-furnished, secure; friendly staff; proper breakfast (including hot options like bacon, egg and sausage for the Anglo-Saxons). It's right next to the station, which is usually a reason to avoid any hotel, but in Bordeaux the area isn't so bad. Also they give you a (glass) bottle of water when you check in to cut down on plastic and there is a decent restaurant linked to it, though it looks like they could do with a few more staff. I'll definitely stay here again. (The only criticism I'd make is of the bizarre design of the bedside lights, which are attached to the headboard and can give you a fierce laser-like ray in the eyeball when you switch them on in the night.)

The property is right by the train station and local tram station. The lobby and breakfast area have been recently remodeled and were very nice. The room was very dark and needs a refresh.

Very clean and comfortable

Lovely hotel but the stairs in the rooms are a challenge. Our bags were left in our room but upstairs. My husband hit his head trying to turn off the light that was under the stairs so unsafe.

A taste of Bordeaux

I wanted to see something of Bordeaux as I have been through it on the train to Lourdes, several times in the past, and I wanted to add my foot prints. I booked a river Garonne 2 hour trip with a Canelle added, we saw the bridges and the hostess explained about them, and I noticed the 2 spires of the Cathedral, so the following day, I made my way there by bus

Across from the railway station. Nice hotel. Room was good. A short walk to tram stop to get to town. Overall a nice hotel to stay at.

2 Days in Bordeaux

The location is excellent. Right next to the metro and railroad station, accessible to everything. The hotel is clean.

These are small dimly lit rooms (few lights and almost no light through the window as it is obscured by another. While nice enough, the staff is busy and not readily available.

Lobby was gorgeous. Check in was confusing and not sure we were charged correctly. One room was supposed to be 2 beds but was 1.

OK -a little work needed

On arrival, we were greeted pleasantly and efficiently. We found a sock (from last residents) on balcony and spotted a hanger under the bed...so felt that maybe overall cleaning was not what it could be. We had paid for breakfast but both mornings the staff could not fund the booking and on the second evening our room key did not work and we waiting around for some time while it was sorted...this was attributed to 'systems'. Breakfast offered good variety and the hotel is very convenient for station/tram stops.

Very disappointing

Despite seeming to be recently opened, too many things in the room weren’t working: television, temperature control, and safe. When I told the manager that the safe didn’t work, he said it was “normal” and that I could put my valuables in their safe. He also said that the temperature couldn’t be lowered, even though the room was stuffy, because it was “that time of year”. He suggested that we open the window, which we did, and we were both bitten by mosquitoes. Absolutely no amenities, not even tissues, in the bathroom except for soap dispensers. Website promised slippers and amenities. No bottled water. No mini fridge. No milk in the coffee service. Finally, we are still waiting, 72 hours after we checked out, for our statement to be sent to us by email. Very disappointing.

Pourquoi pas ?

Bel hôtel extérieur, bon accueil. La chambre propre, salle de bain avec douche ça c'était bien, sauf que pas de savon dans le distributeur pour se laver les mains. Par contre, chambre sombre, dû au choix des couleurs pour les murs et le mobilier noir, en plus petite fenêtre qui ne donne pas envie de s'attarder sur la vue puisqu'il n'y avait rien à voir sauf les toits ou les poubelles, et qui apporte peu de luminosité. A savoir à l'arrivée, "caution par CB" de 50 €uros au cas ou pour une taxe de séjour à 7,48 € je trouve le principe un peu limite, compte tenue qu'il n'y avait rien dans la chambre qui aurait pu justifier une dépense supplémentaire. Un bon point pour la proximité avec la gare.

Séjour convenable pour 1 nuit. Hôtel très beau en extérieur. Chambre propre mais je m'attendais à beaucoup moins sommaire.

Für ein 4-Stern Hotel war das eher enttäuschend. Die Fenster waren sehr schmutzig, das Badezimmer in der Eile eingerichtet und sehr unpraktisch, das Nette nur mittelmässig gemütlich. Das Frühstück Buffet war ziemlich gut und die Lage ist hervorragend: 1 minute zu Fuss zum Bahnhof. Das spricht für das Hotel.
