Loved my stay there, wasn't a big fan of people trying to sell you one experience or the other. But the views were amazing, the food was really good

Loud at night

Very loud at night. Hotel hosts parties every night with loud music, very close to rooms. While on the beach you can not relax because people disrupt you every 5 min to sell you things.

AMAZING PLACE! NO KIDS EVEN BETTER. IT WAS MY HOME AWAY FROM HOME. I LOVED THE ATMOSPHERE. MUSIC PLAYING & THE BEACH ACCESS IS AMAZING ALONG WITH THE POOL. THE SPA IS AMAZING!!! ALSO LOVED BREAKFAST. FRESH SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE!

Absolutely fantastic stay as good as it Sharm el Sheik counterpart..

Very friendly, great staff. Food good quality and variety. Rooms clean and well appointed. Fully inclusive so have what you want when you want. For snacks would recommend the pizza and burgers- all freshly made. For the younger at heart, plenty to entertain you.

Beautiful property in the middle of Hurghada. I would definitely return and stay here. There was plenty of shops, as well as a waterslide that I was unaware of prior to arriving, which even more increased my respect for this hotel, beautiful lobby, which I took several videos and pictures of. Only things I would recommend changing is the food selection did not seem fresh at the Asian restaurant and the food was overpriced at the seafood restaurant so I would avoid both. I actually got sick from the Asian restaurant towards the end of the trip and my stomach is still recovering a week later The food was the best at the Greek restaurant and Egyptian restaurant. I would just recommend getting the grill option at the Egyptian restaurant the only other thing other place that we really love was the pizza place and the burger spot was really good. Didn’t get a chance to try the noodle spot. The main dining was decent however, the food just all tastes the same so after a couple of days you just wanted something different. The property itself was very well maintained and taken care of the rooms were beautiful and well taken care of and the service was phenomenal. Definitely a hard-working crew here and I would highly recommend staying here if you ever do visit this city thank you so much for our time

Not a 4 star hotel. Painting on the walls were chilling. Limited space for breakfast, felt like the hunger games. Pool looks like a community pool. The area around it isn’t good. Wouldn’t recommend

The resort was lovely and staff were lovely however when we arrived we got told that they didn’t have our room as it was fully booked… so we had to stay in a cheaper room than we booked and didn’t get our original room until the following day at 2pm. And they are yet to give us the money back even for the difference of price in rooms

This is a party hotel! Just have to stay that first if all, as me and my girlfriend went there not knowing and until 1am every night there is loads music blarring which can be heard all around the resort The place is amazing, so clean and the staff are fantastic! The food is amazing, all the restaurants were stunning, the beaches nearby are beautiful - cant say enough have amazing the place is, just the music pumping to the early hours was the bad bit for us, we did a couple of trips to Cairo and Luxor both of which are 3/4am pick ups, so not getting to sleep until 1am was a big issue for us, we did ask to move which we paid for an upgrade to a room on the top floor further away which did help with the bass shaking the room but music can still be heard

This was by far the worst resort I’ve ever stayed in, don’t get fooled by the pics, the hotel is dated and really run down. Our first room had a dirty floor, paint was falling off the walls bathroom door was flimsy and rubber was falling off. I asked to be switched after a long back and forth they switched me to a room on the third floor (no elevators) that same day the bathroom got flooded due to a clogged drain we had sewer water all over our floor. They cleaned it and apologized then the next night the air conditioner was making crazy rattling noise and leaked a ton of water all over my clothes which made me furious as I kept calling the reception but they took forever to send someone. We had to be switched again. This place was a total nightmare, the staff isn’t accommodating at all especially the front desk staff. Lastly the staff blasts quraan very loud in the morning which kept waking me up with no consideration to the sleeping guests

This was my first time to the dominican. I loved it so much. It was beyond my expectations. Everything and everyone has been so friendly and wonderful. I would love to go again!

The resort is beautiful, just like the pictures. Rooms are lovely and all have a boho vibe down to whether you can opt to wash towels/bedding to be more eco friendly. We didn’t have a bad meal, all the restaurants are great and the daily buffet whilst largely the same also had lots of new additions! Everything you need on site, loadsof excursions and activities to entertain but you can go off to quieter areas or put up a red flag if you don’t want to be disturbed all day

Really super resort, great food (and plenty of choices), facilities are great and something for everyone, you can chill at a quiet beach or pool or get involved in the daily activities. Highly recommend!

Great property, which offfers intimacy and great space to relax and unwind. The staff is phenomenal - they are very attentive to your needs, but not intrusive to your personal space. There are a number of activities daily, and numerous places to relax. I am definitely returning again. The food is delicious!

Great property! Nastiest staff in Egypt. Very disrespectful staff. The guys selling day trips are the most pleasant and friendliest. Other staff members from front desk are the worst, most attitude, very disrespectful

The resort looks great and offers a lot: beach, pools, variety of restaurants and entertainment. We stayed at standard room which was big but the bathroom needs updating really …but couldn’t fault our daily cleaning service at all! The service was also great.

Very friendly staff and nice beach

I enjoyed every single inch of the property including the calmness, peace, and the hospitality. I cant find one thing i did not like about my stay at the hotel. In addition, i appreciated that it was safe to walk to the pharmacy located outside of the hotel. Thank ypu for such an amazing experience!

Bohemian stay for 18+ where you can chill or party

I had an amazing relaxing stay but I could’ve joined in activities and enjoyed evening entertainment and a night club however I needed a rest. This hotel covers all needs and the food in the main restaurant was gorgeous, I ended up cancelling most of my bookings in the speciality restaurants as I was more than happy with the food served in the main restaurant. Staff friendly and helpful. Great boat trip, snorkelling, visit to orange bay. Sports facilities including a grass football pitch. 5 beaches to choose from all with a different vibe from quiet to party time Many swimming pools again catering for those of us that wanted to read to those who wanted to party day and night. Would really suit a family with kids 18+ as teens can have fun whilst parents chillax

Good winter sun

We really enjoyed our stay at meraki- its a good choice for some winter sun. Our room was furnished nicely and was cleaned daily. The hotel facilities are great - lots to do! Despite them being unpopular because its an adults only resort, the water slides are great fun and definitely worth doing! The food was absolutely incredible- particularly the greek restaurant. Even the buffet was spot on. A few things could easily be improved. We found some of the staff a little overbearing/ over friendly- invading our space. For example, when sitting by the pool one day we were asked to review the hotel but the employee watched as this was done then took a photo of what we had written before we submitted the review. This made us feel uneasy. We witnessed this happening to others too. How the staff interact with guests would be the main thing the hotel needs to improve. Some of the staff were excellent. Abdo (greek restaurant) and Zayed (sports bar) were particularly lovely and had a good balance of friendly, fun and professional. There was also some noise- from building works and from the entertainment. But this was understandable so cant complain! Overall a nice trip.

First time in Meraki and YOU have to go! It’s the cutest resort with amazing food. The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths.

We stayed at Meraki just for five days between Christmas and New year. We found everything perfect, food was varied, the room was a little aged but perfectly clean, the staff and service were excellent. Couldn't have asked for more. We didn't venture outside the resort as that was not our purpose this time

Hi there, i stayed at Meraki Resort on 19th November 2023. Stayed at room 2101,we originally booked a kingsize bed room but they gave us two single bed which ruined my anniversary, but they did give us a kingsize room 4101 the next day next to a very noisy room. The internet keeps turning off every 2min we had to call the reception for wifi password and the food was extremely poor lack of food option and the food gave my partner diarrhoea which i had to go pharmacy and get medication. If your planning to stay in Hurghada stay at Mercure hotel its better atmosphere, nice environment, good entertainment and food is amazing. Meraki resort is very poor and its not a 5 star hotel. I would say its a 3 star and thats me being kind. Stay away from Meraki resort, they dont allow you to bring food from outside and their food will give you food poisoning. Goodluck to those staying at Meraki.

Stayed at the Meraki for one night, was unable to eat in any of the restaurants (half were closed) and their system requires you to make a reservation with your room number but on arrival and on your last day you not registered in the system and therefore can’t make any reservations. The staff were utterly useless and provided zero information on check in about how the hotel works, and zero help when trying to make a reservation as they would simply blame the system and say there was nothing they could do, Hotel plays loud music until 1am in the morning which can be heard in the rooms and the service from the bars is very limited they have no attentive servers. I would never stay here again and I would recommend it to nobody there are many resorts in Hurghada and you shouldn’t have to suffer through this one.

We loved this place. Expedia failed us by saying they had laundry facilities and laundry service. There is a difference between the two. They only have laundry service. We were expecting a facility to do our own laundry. Laundry service is not guaranteed against loss, rips, shrinkage, fading or other problems. Don't expect to do your own laundry. But beautiful beaches and atmosphere.

Amazing people. Every part of the staff is incredible with great energy and vibes. Dimo on the entertainment team makes you feel like family and will keep the party going!

Spent 8 days at this resort and I absolutely loved it! The resort is clean and beautiful and the staff was great! I would go back again and I enjoyed the bohemian theme and the beach!

Food needs to be better

Beautiful property. Staff was very attentive and welcoming. The music noise at night made it very hard to sleep though.

The property was great with lots to do. Wish would have stayed longer. Had trouble with the key card had multiple times fix thd issue.

What a shame that such a beautiful resort is run by such a lying manager and his restaurant staff. Lying about no wine per glass , asking me to scan a menu and chose from it then bring me a wine bottle which we thought was from the menue and charging me triple with a shady hand written receipt so the staff can take that money to their pocket. The wine listed on the menue was $350 Egyptian pounds , we were asked for $950. No such wine exist on the menu we were provided. The manager was trying to bribe us with a “discount “ when we complained the next day. What a joke ! What a shady , tourist trap! You should be ashamed of yourself !

Good - Adam (the herbal shop guy), Mustafa( from housekeeping), Ahmed (bracelet and necklace maker), The night manager and a few of waiters (I didn’t get their name unfortunately) Thank you all so much for making my birthday holiday feel so special and always putting a smile on my face. They all deserve a raise! Bad - don’t book this hotel with hotel.com because when we got there they couldn’t find our booking so Hossam sent us off to eat to resolve the issue. Just to note prior to arriving at the hotel I triple checked with the hotel online and over the phone that they are able to fulfil my requirement of having two twin beds. After diner we were given a very thorougher talk about all the hotel has to offer and then taken to our room. Our room had only one bed which I was very confused about, I went back to reception to speak with Hossam who said he will speak with a manager but in the meantime he will send someone over with a extra bed just for the night. 5 hours of waiting past and no bed arrived so we returned to reception where we spoke with the night manager about the whole issue, he was very lovely and understanding, he got a bed sent to our room immediately and informed us that our issue will be resolved in the morning with the morning manager Sameh. Sameh basically told us that we must take what we get as there are no special favours and no one should have told me that I will get a twin bed room. He did however change us to a twin bed. I also got food poisoning

Les chambres etaient nettoyées tous les jours sans meme mettre la carte de nettoyage sur la poignée. Les employées etaient toujours en train d'enlever les déchets par terre et dans toute la propriété. La plage etait très propre. Les jardins aussi! Bref tout était parfaitement propre!

Honestly everyone other than the guest relations is great. Staff that serves you food and drinks are so friendly and amazing. But if you experience a problem like we did, do not talk to Sameh, it’s as if you are talking to a brick wall. He was the absolute worst.

Loved it here! I came here as a solo traveller and have already told my friends I want us to do a girls trip here. It’s so fun, safe, relaxing..just all around good vibes. The staff treat you like family and that’s what matters most. I extended my res an extra day while here and that got a bit long having to go back and forth to reception. Outside of that the service was spot on.

Amazing stay

This hotel is simply amazing. Everything is ready for you to enjoy your stay at a maximum! Bars and snacks are opened at any time and new activities are proposed on a daily basis! This is the ideal place to go to with a group of friends for one week

Really pleasant stay especially when being in a pandemic. The only improvement i would say is the food and drinks could use improvement. Cocktails should be a bit more fancier as well

Meraki must be the best resort in the area. Great facilities. I extended my stay four times. Not many people there right now because of the pandemic so the staff to guest ratio is amazing and they upgraded my room to a nice suite with an ocean view. Though there aren't many people there now, I'm fairly certain there is more going on at Meraki than other resorts in the area - and it seems incredibly fun in normal conditions. They really work hard to make sure guests are happy. Also, while food normally isn't good at all-inclusive resorts, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety here. One note is that you should bring your own alcohol if you want/care about nice alcohol. I don't drink much so it's not important to me.

Very nice place! I wasn’t sure about kiteboarding at this property but they have a nice lagoon and I got a couple decent days in November. I’m came alone but never felt that way. The staff is super friendly making sure everyone is included but they won’t bug you if you want to be left alone. Food was really food. They have scuba on site with great guides and instructors. The room I stayed in was a little tired but nothing to complain about it it was mostly cosmetic.

Best holiday and hotel ever! The staff is brilliant, the hotel is spotless and the activities are limitless. Georgos private beach and amazing restaurants all around. It's close to the city centre so it is not located in the tourist area which makes it even better! I cannot highly recommend!

The place is amazing, staff is pleasant and helpful the rooms designs are cool. It was a good time but what made my stay perfect was Meraki’s animation team so thank you guys specially Anya who was professional in her job by making everything better, Emo for creating the best fun times and Jimmy who you can count on him in anything thanks to everybody there who I forgot.

Meraki is an amazing place. We had a great time in our room. Every room is a suite, every piece of the resort is amazing in its own way. The most enjoyable thing was the people themselves, every one at the hotel wanted to make sure the guests are having the best time. Special thanks to Mr. Hesham, Mr. Mohamed from the front desk, and every one who works hard to make sure the resort shines the way it does.

Come on feel the noise

If you want a noisy club like experience then definitely go here. We did not realise that there is not a single room in the place nor anywhere outside in the grounds where you can escape the noise so we left the hotel early. we liked the hotel apart from the noise and most of the staff were truly excellent and the head chef really went out of his way to help us withn our vegan and vegetarian choices. The waiters were brilliant as were the pool staff. It is a lovely hotel but only if you want noise.

This resort was amazing from the moment I checked in. Amazing food, beach, location, staff and the rooms are absolutely gorgeous. So much to do and they have activities daily. I highly recommend this resort and will be back!

High standard resort for all ages

We stayed here at the beginning of our holiday and decided to come back at the end, because of how much we felt welcome at the resort. All staff are very friendly and helpful and seem to genuinely care whether someone is enjoying their stay at their hotel. The food is great both in terms of selection and quality (my friend and I are both vegans and there were plenty of things to choose from, the restaurant manager even offered to buy soy milk especially for us which we thought was very kind). Our rooms were perfectly clean (European standard clean) and nicely decorated, leaving you to feel like you are at a second home rather than a hotel. The pool areas are nice, although we did not actually use them due to our busy travel schedule and the beach is great for relaxing, but you won't see any fish so close to all the hotels. In the evening there is plenty of activity, we watched a dance show once and played some pool at one of the resort's bars, other nights we opted to stay in our room which despite being near one of the entertainment hot spots remained perfectly quiet. In my opinion, anyone who wants more than just a simple bed sleep in will be very happy here.

MERAKI is a beautiful resort. Everyone was very nice and the food was amazing. Very clean.

Brilliant stay , excellent services and accommodation . The only slight criticism would be that while most of the staff were friendly and helpful , several were borderline rude ( but only to me , not my partner ). We would definitely stay here again .

Our bus arrived in thé morning and We decided to head to the hotel and they allowed us to check in early. Thé staff was very welcoming, thé food was great. They have a camp where you can smoke hooka for an extra price and it was so relaxing.

Everything is excellent. They just need to put the name of the hotel at the entrance for those who drive to it.

Buffet food is very good and remains very hot, which is rare in buffet style service. The staff are very nice and friendly, always ready to help. Room is clean and spacious. I had an issue with the AC and mentioned it to the staff; within ten minutes the technician was in the room fixing it! Problem solved!

Simply Amazing!

I have just returned from my 3rd visit in 6 months (4th already booked), so I guess there is no doubt about how good this hotel is? This hotel is simply amazing! It is described as a clubbing hotel, it is not, nor does it try to be an 18-30 holiday, this hotel caters for all age groups. There are plenty of daytime and evening activities/parties if you wish to join in, equally, there is plenty of space if all you want to do is chill. The food is tasty, varied and always hot, none of the usual lukewarm food that can be served in some all-inclusive hotels! They have several places to eat, burger bar, noodles bar, coffee house (beans and cream), two ala carte restaurants (Asian and Arabian), there is also a fish restaurant due to open shortly and I have been informed that they are planning an Italian which may be completed by August. There is a choice of rooms to suit your needs and wallet, all are very good! They have renovated quite a lot and built new rooms since my visit in Feb. They have listened to customer feedback and acted upon the suggestions, full-length mirrors (essential for us ladies), larger safes, bigger bathrooms, more comfortable seating etc. if you want somewhere that meets all your needs, good food, excellent staff, comfortable rooms and plenty of activities, then Meraki is the resort to go to!

It was a very unique experience, hotel was very lovely very clean, i recommended it to anyone who would like to stay there. It is totally different from anywhere outside the premises. Food was amazing and staff were the best.

Lots of lovely spaces to relax by the pool and beach with sun and shade options. Buffet restaurant has great selection and a la carte restaurants give a nice variety to the food available at the resort. As with Egyptian hospitality, staff are very helpful. Grounds and gardens always kept clean and looking lush. Rooms cleaned immaculately, we stayed in the "Merkalicious" room which was spacious and felt glam!

My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Meraki resort for 3 nights during our stay in Hurghada. When we first checked in, our room took 30 minutes for us to be able to access it. In the hotel room itself, the bathroom towels were extremely scratchy – they felt like beach towels more than anything else – and the shower leaked a huge puddle on the bathroom floor after each use. Additionally, the products in the bathroom (shampoo, conditioner, etc.) seemed cheap and leaked in their packaging, they did not work well. The WiFi in the rooms and throughout certain parts of the hotel was very weak, and having no data plan abroad, it was difficult to access certain sites with weak WiFi. There were very few available outlets in the room that we were staying in. It was impossible to sit and relax by the pool, at the beach, or even enjoy dinner at one of the restaurants without constantly getting bothered by one of the hotel promoters about events that were going on around the hotel. I understand some people at the resort might have been interested in attending game night, but my boyfriend and I visited Hurghada to relax and unwind after spending many days in the busy city of Cairo! If it wasn’t the hotel promoters, it was sales people selling daytrip excursions or massage deals. It brought me back to the baazar in Cairo constantly having to tell people no, thank you – we’re not interested, and impacted how much we were able to relax during my stay at the Meraki.
