Loved everything except for searching for parking spots although that's not your fault. The staff was magnificent, especially the girls at the buffet and restaurant.

Great hotel. Small hotel, really clean and staff were always on hand to help. Great all round

Lovely hotel in a great location. Easy walking to the beach and the town.

Beautiful large room, very clean, really good breakfast with large variety of food on offer, nice pool, close to beach. Close to shops and some lovely restaurants. About 20 min stroll into old town. Close to turtle beaches. In the large room there was both overhead and hand showers and a jacuzzi bath. Lovely friendly and welcoming staff. Just fabulous. Would definitely stay there again.

Modern and sparkling clean. The included breakfast is outstanding for variety of dishes and quality. The staff was super friendly and helpful, especially the night concierge. We had a car and there's no parking, but we had no difficulty finding a place on the nearby streets.

Great hotel, friendly service, very clean with very good choices for breakfast Hotel was very close to beach, but be aware that beach is not that swimmable due to rough water and windy weather conditions The hotel is located just 10 minutes walk from downtown, shops and restaurants We, as a family of five, had great time and definitely would come back

The location is great, you can walk to the beach, restaurants and bars. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice but could be warmer. I would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful stay

The Melrose Hotel was extremely clean and we felt very safe during these Covid times. The breakfasts were superb with a huge selection to suit everyone. The rooms were spotless and the swimming pool was fabulous with plenty of sun beds and very reasonably priced drinks and food. Finally, the most impressive aspect of our stay was the amazing staff, they were friendly, informative and efficient, a huge asset to the hotel. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

Great hotel, friendly staff and good location.

The photos didn’t do the hotel justice. What can I say it was out of this world, A very luxurious hotel at a fantastic price, The staff were very friendly felt like you had known them all your life. The cleanliness , the food and service were unbelievable. I was sad to leave.

Great Hotel

Terrific Hotel. We only booked the essentials suit and it was very spacious for 2. Nice size tv, big balcony, great bed and large bathroom. The pool was fantastic and all staff very nice and helpful. Definitely would book again if visiting Rethymno.

Actually looks better in real than on pictures. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very good location only 5 min walk to the beach, 3 min walk to the supermarket and 20 min walk to the old town which is full of shops, restaurants and bars. Been travelling around Greece for a while now I visited places like Cyprus, Corfu, Kefalonia, Zakhyntos, Halkidiki and Melrose is our top 3 hotel 👍👍👍

We had amazing room with great view. A plate with fresh seasonal fruits welcomed us. Great service, always willing to help. Sure recommended!

Great location and friendly staff!

Great hotel for couples, in an excellent location close to the beach and a 15 minutes stroll to the old town perfect for cocktails and meals in the evening. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble they really make the stay special!

Sunny Melrose

The Melrose Hotel has very friendly staff and is perfectly located within 50 mt on Rethymno beach, Although it does have an awesome size swimming pool itself if you prefer . Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were very comfortable. Would definately stay there again.

- Very friendly and attentive staff. - Small but nice pool area. Towels provided. - Good breakfast and pool snacks. - Very clean. - Bathroom area (faucets in the shower) a bit old/rusty. - 10-15 min walk to the old town. - Parking a bit "tricky" but manageable with a short walk.

Mooi hotel, was voor ons niet de eerste keer dat we daar zijn geweest, Het ontvangst was al steeds goed, maar nu waren er personeel die ons nog herinneren waardoor het ontvangst nog warmer en dankbaar was, omdat we terug voor hun hadden gekozen. Daarnaast ligt het hotel heel dicht bij het strand, er is ook een supermarkt in de buurt. Op wandel afstand van de oude stad langs het strand. Heel veel restaurants in de buurt waar je heel lekker kan eten. Hotel is ook zeer netjes. Mooi zwembad en voor de liefhebbers is er een kleine ontspanning ruimte met sauna en jacuzzi en sportmateriaal

Coming back every year, always nice to see some of the same staff still working. The hotel staff is so friendly and welcoming. Always so clean and inviting. The pool area is beautiful, the indoor pool too. Great breakfast buffet, so much delicious food

Sehr nettes Personal, leckeres Frühstücksbuffet, sehr sauber, Altstadt gut zu Fuß erreichbar, Strandnähe. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Gute Lage nahe der Strandpromenade, dort fußläufig viele tolle Restaurants und Geschäfte. Auch mit dem (Stadt-)Bus gut erreichbar. Frühstücksbuffet reichhaltig, reichlich und gut, freundliches Personal, toller Pool, praktischer Wellness-Bereich im Untergeschoss - tolles Hotel

Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll und modern eingerichtet. Zudem ist alles sehr sauber. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen. Der Pool liegt geschützt in einem schönen Innenhof. Der Strand, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die wunderschöne Altstadt sind fußläufig erreichbar.

Fantastisk flott

Like fantastisk som sist. Høflig og smilende hotell ansatte. Alt så rent overalt, flott lite basseng i midten av hotellet. Frokosten er bare helt topp, alt du kan tenke deg og litt til. Gymsal nede og ett lite oppvarmet basseng.

Dit hotel ligt goed en rustig gelegen. Wij zijn nu voor de 2 de keer geweest en nog steeds tevreden. Net en vriendelijk hotel. Zwembad is wat aan de kleine kant. Maar de zee ligt nog op geen 500m. Ontbijt zeer gevarieerd.

Hyvätasoinen ja siisti hotelli. Tilava huone ja kylppäri. Erityismaininnan saa taivaallinen ilmastointi, joka ei puhaltanut täysillä jäistä vaan viilensi huonetta moiteetta pienemmälläkin höökillä.

Ensiluokkaista palvelua!

Melrosen palvelu oli ensiluokkaista, aamiainen kattava, tilat modernit ja siistit. Altaalle sai tilattua edullisesti lounasta ja allasalue oli viihtyisä. Vastasi pohjoismaisten standardien mukaista neljää tähteä, toisin kuin monet muut Kreikan ”neljän tähden” hotellit. Vaihdoimme tähän hotelliin toisesta hotellista, ja olimme todella tyytyväisiä! Iso suositus tälle.

Un bellissimo hotel

Mi sono trovata molto bene ad alloggiare in questo hotel.Il personale è stato gentilissimo e la cameriera comoda e spaziosa.La colazione ottima.

Das Hotel ist super! Es liegt in zweiter Reihe am Strand und zur langen Promenade mit vielen Restaurants, Bars und der Altstadt. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und spricht super Englisch. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend. Wir hatten ein riesiges Zimmer, ich weiß nicht ob es an der Nebensaison liegt. PWir würden definitiv wieder kommen :)

Heel mooi hotel. Ligt ook goed gelegen. Valk aan het strand en op wandel afstand van de old town, langs het strand en winkeltjes / restaurantjes. Personeel is zeer vriendelijk. Van de balie tot onderhoud. Ontbijt is zeer lekker en varieert. Een klein min puntjes WiFi is soms wat zwak in verbinding.

Sehr freundliche Rezeption, tolle Auswahl beim Frühstück, zentrale Lage zu Stadt und Land. Saubere und moderne Zimmer

UN QUATTRO STELLE, CHE SE LE MERITA TUTTE !!!

Dall'accoglienza iniziale dello staff, si intuisce che qui si potranno trascorrere attimi di relax impagabili. La cura nei minimi dettagli, il design ricercato, luci e musica rendono attraente ed unico ogni ambiente: - dalle moderne camere, spaziose ed arredate con gusto, letti comodissimi, armadi capienti, biancheria di qualità, bagni curatissimi, frigo, bollitore e macchina da caffè con capsule; - all'area colazione dove la varietà dei prodotti salato/dolce di ottima qualità e scelta vengono serviti da personale delizioso in grado, con il loro sorriso negli occhi, di superare la "barriera" della covidmascherina, che purtroppo ci accompagna in questo 2020; - alla zona relax e piscina, pulita, curata ed elegante, che riesce ad isolare da tutto ciò che circonda. Strategica la posizione, a due passi da tutto: - da una lunga spiaggia attrezzata, - da una bella passeggiata lungomare, - da una vivace zona di ristoranti e locali per ogni gusto, - dalla "Old Town", il vecchio porto veneziano di Rethimno, che si apre nei meravigliosi e tipici vicoletti con negozi di ogni genere. Struttura quindi veramente eccellente!

Super Hotel in Strandnähe

Wir waren schon vor 2 Jahren in diesem Hotel.Da uns dieser aufenthalt schon sehr gut gefiel,buchten wir es dieses Mal wieder.Wir waren wieder sehr zufrieden.Die Angestellten waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Man fühlte sich wegen der momentanen Situation auch sehr gut aufgehoben.Die Hygieneregeln wurden sehr gut umgesetzt.Am Buffet wurde man bedient.Die reinigung der Zimmer erfolgte innert unseres Aufenthaltes 2x,was völlig ausreichte.Hätte man zusätzlich etwas benötigt,konnte man dies der Rezeption via Mail mitteilen.Wir hatten die Deluxe-Suite mit Meerblick.Das Zimmer ist modern eingerichtet,sehr bequeme Betten.Im Hotel ist es sehr ruhig,es gab immer genügend Platz,beim Frühstück,am Pool.Wir würden dieses Hotel wieder buchen.

Bel hôtel, avec tous les services d'un 4 étoiles, bouteille de vin offerte à l'arrivée. Belle piscine, calme et agréable, dommage que l'espace Spa avec le jacuzzi était fermé avec le covid.
