Terrible Bed quality, pictures are better than reality.
Ideal location. Great for woman traveling solo. Close by lots of malls to shop. Also close to get facial, massage (foot and body)….Some malls offer other activities (miniatures display…)to do besides shopping…close by choice of food amazing, delicious and safe (for ex- Jalan Alor Food street). Kuala Lumpur felt safe. Hop on hop off near by
Big room, near shopping mall.
We stayed 3 nights at Melia. The staff was helpful and kind, from the security guard outside the hotel, porter, manager, receptionist, and the housekeeping personnel. Our room is clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast is good. At Melia, we feel like almost home. The hotel is in a strategic location for shopping, etc. We definitely stay here again when we are in KL.
We stayed in this property during our visit to KL. Its a nice hotel with very cleaned, spacious rooms right in front of berjaya square. We stayed on high floor and the view was awesome. Hotel staff was kind and helpful. Buffet breakfast was intercontinental with huge variety.
Very cozy and clean place.
Good
Good Value, Very Central.
This was a good hotel just one short Monorail stop from the city centre and a short walk from the main nightlife area. It was good value for money. The room spacious , clean and service was good. I also used the hotel gym was very quiet and reasonably equipped.
Ticks all the boxes
Room was not cleaned properly and was falling into a bit of a disrepair. Cleaning was not good could smell the dust and areas had dust. The room we stayed in had some plumbing issues. sink taking long for it to drain. Shower wasn’t cleaned and the sink had a rim of dirt built up.
Good location.
Very convenient location
Excellent
Great stay.. convenient location with easy access to public transport and near Bukit Bintang
The hotel is right next to the monorail station IMBI which makes it easy to go to Sentral station and then take the express train to the airport. Staff friendly and helpful. The porters are so genuinely nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Walk to lots of shopping and dining options.
Staffs are friendly. Hotel area is very centralised for shopping. Easy accessible.
This hotel always spoils their guests and the rooms and facilities are excellent. The location directly opposite Time Square Shopping Complex and the Mono Rail Station make this hotel the obvious choice for tourists
It was pretty good hotel!
Amazing hospitality, very elegant hotel and within walking distance to most attractions and eateries in KL city centre. Will definitely repeat my stay again here next time!
Excellent staff, and the location is centrally located and easily within walking distance to public transportation, shopping, restaurants, etc.
Check in time delayed by 2hrs. Service was slow. Staff not really helpful. Had to settle for a room with separate beds for a night. Location is great and hotel is clean at the least.
First KL trip
The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel location is good. The staff was helpful and friendly. Response to request was prompt. The only bad thing is the wardrobe led light came off is quite dangerous, incase we accidentally touched it. We have feedback to the counter and their GM. * i tried to add photo but was unsuccessful. *
Good Choice
Nothing to complain. Fast check in/out. Helpful and polite front desk staff. Very convenient location. Train station just in front of hotel. Popular malls and food street within walking distance. Room & beddings all very clean. Hotel may be a little dated but well maintained.
The staff was very helpful and the room was very spacious and clean. We've enjoyed our last days KL before flying back home and had a good night sleep.
Really enjoyed our stay with Melia. We booked the Level room, there were benefits to enjoy the lounge, with early check in and late check out. Really comfortable room for our stay. Very convenient location easily accessible to malls and shops. Staff was super friendly and helpful.
walk to bukit bintang
No blow dryer in the room, no sandals in the room, washroom sink drain very very slow, otherwise overall a good hotel, good location walkable to bukit bintang, good value.
Great place with shopping centres nearby
But outdated but generally all good
spacious comfortable room
comfortable bed. aircon a bit noisy but worked well as a white noise machine. shower was spacious and comfortable. good water pressure. towel was large. in-room safe was useful. adequate hangers for clothes. very accessible by monorel but always traffic jam right in front of the hotel. gigantic mall Berjaya Times Square is just an overhead bridge away, and new mall Lalaport is another bridge away. more food and shopping options behind the hotel.
Although location is good but congested traffic around property.
Good location near Bukit Bintang shopping and food areas.
Hotel was very nice . Staff was excellent. Only issue was elevators didnt seem to be working well and pool deck had piecies of thw coating peeling off and in the pool.
It was bad staff is unfriendly
Friendly staff.
Great all round. Best for kL stay.
KL Trip
It was a good stay.
Excellent service 👍
Amazing service rendered by Ms. Delisa and Mr. Rozi from reception, Ms. Izzati and Ms. Azlina from Melia kitchen and Mr. Alias from Facilities thank you for your kind assistance and friendlyness. Love this hotel coz of location, spacious and clean room and spreads choice for breakfast. Compliments to the chefs and service crew at Melia kitchen.
Recommended by friends and family. Super accessible hotel, walkable to many malls and restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Great view of Berjaya Times Square from the window. Room service food was delicious. Had the lamb and watermelon juice. Only small downside was there wasn't a bathtub in the room. Which was quite surprising for my wife and I. Not sure if they do have rooms with bath tubs. Will come back soon and request.
Friendly staffs and Great Lication
We chose this place as it near our depart bus location. Breakfast was hearty and good. Room was comfortable though a little smaller than expectation. Overall was a good stay.
It's very close to Jalan Alor, shopping malls and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a good selection and had quite a different menu during those three days that we stayed.
First time staying at Melia Kuala Lumpur. Service staff seems to be nice at the same time seem disengaged with the visitor. We can feel them talking to us but seem robotic. Room was spacious and clean. The TV is really too small for the room really cannot see but then there will be those who say you are on holiday not to watch TV. Try to do so when it is pouring outside with local tropical storm and of course if you use iPad or laptop. If can use the wired network use that as it is faster speed and they have network cable in drawer. Met the GM Mr Alba in the lift on the way down to breakfast he seem to nice and doing his rounds to meet the clients staying there seem nice and much more engaging than the front desk. Toilet paper for those who use it instead of the bidet is super thin. Water pressure in shower room is almost non existent too low so need longer to shower. Corridor and room lights are not very bright.?Location is great many places within walking distance. Breakfast is decent with local Nasi Lemak and international option but not much. Try to come after 8.45am before that is like a market not easy to get seat. During this stay had blackout due to the hotel doing some electrical in the night of 7 November the front desk said 20 minutes lasted more than that so decided to sleep. On 8 November afternoon there was another few outages before it became stable. The problem with this there was no notification to the guest.
Room is sizeable
The hotel is just next to the monorail station which is very convenient to get to the airport and other areas and also walkable to many shopping malls. The room is also very clean and spacious, the bed is comfortable and the buffet breakfast in the hotel is good & has great variety. Will stay there if I do go KL again!
My stay at the hotel was good and the location is walkable to quite a few shopping malls and food options. My only complaint and I would rate it as a heavy one since it relates to privacy issues. At check-in, I expressed that I did not want my passport photocopied for privacy and security reasons. I begrudgingly allowed them to photocopy my driver's license just to be able to check in. On checkout, the staff including manager were insistent on photocopying my passport, even though they said to only need the passport number. Otherwise, they did not want to check me out for a fully paid stay. This is not an acceptable practice for many reasons. I was assured that the photocopy would be destroyed, but I highly doubt of that being done in a manner that I would find acceptable. To the hotel management: Upon arrival in the country, the government authorities have verified my identity and passport in a secure manner. You should not need to photocopy it for whatever reason.
Excellent location. Very clean room.
Nice hotel and Excellent service
Reasonable price 👍👍
It was so close to the train station and food places
Very helpful staff and willing to help. Always greeted by staff. AC was playing up even though maintainer checked it 2 twice.
Before Covid, this was my go-to hotel and now, after 3 years, it is still as good. Clean, friendly staff, near many places I frequent and easy to navigate.
Very convenience location. Metro station downstairs, Berjaya Time Square just across the bridge.
Extremely bad housekeeping! The only thing they do is make the bed.
The room is spacious and clean. The location of the hotel is nearby to shops, food courts and restaurants in Pavilions mall.
Opted for an upper floor (The Level) room to escape the continual noise and business of Kuala Lumpur. Great decision! Hotel is well placed for food, shopping, walking, and transport links. A three night stay after a busy three week break in Malaysia was the perfect way to recharge and relax before heading back home. Will use the Melia again next time we’re travelling. Great experience.
The family room is spacious with great view. Check in and checkout was smooth and fast.
Hotel staffs not flexible n helpful
I am a repeat customer. The property have yet to fail my expectations. Highly recommended.
We booked a king size bed but was told to wait because our room was not ready. Only 2 hrs later, we were given a room. We stayed for 3 nights, our last night was terrible as the air conditioning was faulty and not working at all. We hardly had any sleep as the room was humid and felt like a sauna. Please do not release faulty rooms to guest just to fill up the quota. 0/10.
Walking distance to shopping centre n eatries. Transport was easy access.
Melia has always been our choice whenever we are in KL. The location of the hotel is great. The LRT just infront. Easy access to food, shopping, night live, you name it! The rooms are clean and well maintained. Although Melia has seen through many years but the hotel is well maintained with upgrades here and there to keep up with the changes and demand. Breakfast was great too with its wide variety of food. Staffs are polite and very accommodating. Nabil (hope I get the name right) check us in with a breeze and explained well all details of our stay. Melia has nvr disappoint us. Looking forward to our next stay with Melia in the future. Keep it up! ☺️
Value for money stay! Hotel still gleams with its old beauty. Well maintained place. Exceeded my expectation. I like the friendly and helpful staff. Mr Thiru, the General Manager was very gracious and kind in all our interactions with him. At the Kitchen restaurant, the floor manager was wonderful in helping us to get our cake, even when the order was late! The gentleman, who tidied our 5th level room is so friendly and warm, so nice to meet people who love their work! I especially love the gift shop, which houses Malaysia’s best treasures from ceramics to insect specimen to pewters to batiks and jewellery-what a treasure trove! Ask for a discount, the lady boss is ever so generous with discounts and tips on where else you can go shopping! Will want to stay at Melia KL again in the near future! Kudos to all staff!

We stayed for 4 nights and were delighted that the hotel checked most of the boxes. The Imbi station is just beside the hotel which makes travelling around very easy, the hotel is surrounded by many malls and shopping outlets within walking distance and there are many choices for food. We highly recommend to go MyTown shopping mall which is about 15 mins drive. There is IKEA there, Decathlon and many shopping choices. On the flip side, the buffet spread can be improved in our humble opinion.
I like the area very convenient. What I don’t like is there is a big dead cockroach in my room.
Melia Kuala Lumpur is a very convenient hotel to stay for leisure dinning n shopping. Transport is very easy to take anywhere n also walking distance. Room was very spacious n clean. Breakfast could be better.
They had renovated the hotel. It was a lot of gold and black, a tad gloomy. We had booked 3 rooms with twin share request. They placed us on different floors because they did not take note of the twin share request. One room was not ready by check in time. It was until 5pm and another change to the original floor. The rooms were not fully equipped. No hand towels or face washers. No hairdryer. I requested for these items at 7pm. Did not receive it. Had to request it again the next morning and received it after 6pm the next day. The taxi service was deceptive. We requested a car that carry 5 passengers comfortably for a few excursions. We received a car where the fifth passenger needed to be 5 foot and under. Was not comfortable.
In the room alots of things dont have, eg. Not tissue box, no slipper, no rode, towel found many hole in it. Flooring dirty.
Excellent
Excellent location and service. We did an excursion to Selangor and the staff was excellent and so helpful!
Very well renovated.
This is a lovely hotel in an excellent location, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I got a room with a poor view, some of the views from this hotel are exceptional, just have to be lucky to get the right room. I really enjoyed my stay here and would certainly visit again.
Overall is best, but its better if the TV can change to a bigger size. The shower head is dirty with an algae, room are tidy & neat. Hotel Management please look into this, Thank You.
Near everything you want regardless of weather
Location is good and good for shopping and dining
Very convenient
Has everything that you would need for a holiday stay
The reception staffs are very friendly and helpful. Location is great.
Good choice for breakfast.
I have stayed at Melia for more than 4 times over the last 10 years. I booked 2 rooms (Connecting Rooms). The first time that i experienced my fridge was not working for both rooms. The technician managed to replaced the fridge at one of the rooms. Otherwise.. the service of the staff was excellent through out my stay.
Overall Stay
Generally, it was a pleasant stay, quite spacious.
The breakfasts here are amazing, every cuisine imaginable, buffet and cooked while you watch. Best start to the day. Location, staff and cleanliness great. Small miscommunication when we extended our booking, otherwise excellent. We have rebooked another visit already.
Nice hotel good for budget
Good Business Hotel in the heart of KL city
Everything was great. Room was big, very clean. Staff was helpful. Location was superb. Accept for the breakfast, not much variety.
Thank you for the good and Cooperative mangment ... breakfast buffet needs to have more variety (cheese platters and westerners ) Daily house keeping needs to be more in depth
Loved this hotel..staff were wonderful..rooms were spacious and clean..very handy to public transport and malls...
4 stars hotel that is not worth my stay anymore
Hotel is 4 stars but does not live up to a 4 stars. In term of amenties, it is lacking and has to be request. When check in, no towel face, handerchief, no slipper. Room facing the main road are quite noisy as the windows are not double glaze sound proof. Worst of all, request for a morning call at 6.15am but there was no call at all. Checked out at 6.30am, there was no staff at counter and waited for 10mins. Asked the counter why no morning call, he claimed he set the timing and say maybe ring tone have issue when he obviously tried to demo infront of me but everything was perfect. Morning breakfast starts only at 7am but officially open around 7.05am. Ask able to arrange taxi to airport, they say no office and say need few day advance notice. The only saving grace is the hotel location. Seriously will i come back? There are many other better hotel around. Likely my last time here as I think the service standard is poor.
1 out of 10 for the service!
The room was good. Let’s look from service point of view. Check-in process was disastrous The guests in front of me were an ‘unmasked’ overseas guest (Hello! It is not the end of Covid yet) and a local. It took more than 5 times to charge the overseas guest and the guests behind, including me were totally unattended. The front office person could have asked the guest to sort out the card with his bank, which he then charged another card thrice and again unsuccessfully, before eventually letting the next local guest to check in. The local guest was obviously from the local government group. Couldn’t the hotel get a special counter just for this sort of government guests for their special requests? It took me 23 minutes to check in to my room. Time for a bath. The water was cold. It hit the max on the hot water for both shower and bath, it came out cold. It was a so-called executive room, room 1602. I can’t see why other guests would have to pay extra for a cold bath or shower? Check before assigning rooms. Then, breakfast the next morning. I waited to be seated. You know what? The usher came with his ornamental mask. He spoke to me & led me in. The breakfast spread was pathetic. No even close to a 2-star hotel. Seriously! The best things were the fried eggs and coffee machines. Next surprise! Guests all came in without masks! Yes. Where is the SOP? So, what would I rate for the service? 1 out of 10. At least the front office lady asked me if I enjoyed the stay upon check out.
spacious clean room but no view
Overall room was good & spacious, with comfortable beds. not a new hotel but the rooms were clean and seems to have been renovated. However, there is no view, you just see the walls of another building. Breakfast was lacking, not much variety. Monorail is just outside and a short walk to the new Lalaport / BBCC
This hotel is near with many amenities and public facilities. The room is tidy and neat. The pool is very child friendly. Overall I'm very satisfied with this hotel
Easy n walkable to shopping malls.. Very convenient 👍
should install a new android tv
Good location. Serve plenty of fruits and salad for breakfast. If you have the chance, do try the dinner. Swimming pool is a bit small for adult, however, gym is not bad. Plenty of parking lots in the next building.
Leisure in style
The accomodation was good; but it would be better if food served was early
Air panas tak fungsi..mandi 6 pagi sejuk bak hang..was shaking like mad shower with cold water at 6am in the morning..called the maintenance n he said he will fix it..next shower, the water only warm for 30 seconds and turn to cold water again..need to off n on the water again n warm for 30 seconds n cold again..begitulah seterusnya smpai abg jamal mampuihh..hahaha
Below average for a 4 star.
Room: 6/10. Spacious but dusty especially the sofa and curtains. Customer service: 3/10. Very unpleasant and unprofessional. Check in process wasn’t smooth as well. Workers were NOT wearing masks and walking freely in front of the hotel rooms. Definitely not up to standard for a 4 star hotel. But if you’re looking for a cheaper, average hotel to spend a night, this could work.
Disappointed stay
Stayed here for 6 days and 5 nights. The few issues experienced are: 1. Requested for King Bed but was told that only Twin Bed was available upon arrival. 2. Was told that it was a 24 hours reception but sadly couldn’t reach them at all after hours. 3. Room was dusty and 2/4 pillows were torn, causing a mess. Only plus point was the spacious room provided. 4. None of the staff in the hotel reception were pleasant. Encountered few different staffs during my stay and all were either rude or unprofessional. Staffs were clearly not well trained. Overall experience: 6/10 Doesn’t meet the 4 stars standard.
I love my stayed in this hotel. I booked my room The Level King.. the room is amazing with nice view.
The hotel location is one of the best ever stayed. It is in front of Berjaya time square only walkway bridge between them going directedly to big mall. also it is nearby many malls (10 lot, Pallavin etc). Also many Arab restaurant are there. the problem with the that is only early checking in which was very unpleasant while they confirmed to me they do have early checking in. complimentary is not true at all nothing was there. if I will visit again I will choose it for its location and cleanliness. the staff for servicing is very helpful and respectfully and trying to help all the time. however reception staff not all of them helpful.
Room is spacious, staff are friendly. Only parking is full, maybe because it is weekend and school holiday. Overall, I am satisfied and would recommend this hotel to others!
Disappointing Experience
Front Desk Service: The front desk staff demonstrated poor service during check-out. We were asked to wait for 10 minutes while they checked the room for additional charges, but we ended up waiting over 30 minutes. When we approached the reception to inquire about the status, the staff casually informed us that everything was fine and that we could leave. It turns out they had forgotten about us entirely. This level of service is unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. Food Quality: The food at the restaurant was subpar and lacked quality or flavor. For the price and reputation, we expected much better. Swimming Pool Hygiene: The swimming pool area was highly disappointing. It was crowded with guests dressed in ordinary clothes instead of proper swimwear, which is extremely unhygienic and unappealing.
