Great stay,....

The MC Suites is a small hotel with a big heart, very comforting and quiet for the matter. It is near the areas I need to do business in and near excellent eating places. The staff is friendly and I finally got to speak with the GM about the coffee service,...thank you very much.

Clean and safe hotel. Nice staff. If you have a car, the parking is limited to only 5-6 cars. It is great value for the money

Clean room and attention

Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and included. Staff were very nice and friendly. The one thing was that there is no assigned parking, they allowed us to park in front of the hotel which was nice. Price very convenience ;) I would definitely come back again!!

AWAY with the old coffee please...

I am sadden to say, but this is a "cute" motel and I just can't phantom why they STILL serve yesterday's coffee on the next day?? I complained about it the last time I stayed there and seems to me like it's perhaps a policy to do that. How can a waiter not dump yesterday's coffee, wash the brewer, place new fresh ground coffee and hit the brew switch "ON",...it just baffles me! So if they serve you that old coffee do you think I take a chance with their food?!! No thank you, I tried to talk with the GM, but she happened to have gone to a meeting outside of the property.

The kitchen was a horror, they serve you yesterday's coffee (i was appalled). When i asked for 2 fried eggs, one egg came with a broken yoke on a very small dish. On another small dish were 3 itty bitty pieces of bread, when i asked the waiter "what was that"?? He was CLUELESS! I went to the kitchen and let the cook know to never ever serve broken eggs, it's insulting! I asked her how long she had been cooking she answered "i'm just starting to learn"!! I asked the waiter if that was all in the breakfast and he stated there was a piece of lasagna missing (perhaps he may have wanted to eat it, that's why he didn't mention it) i asked him to bring it and would you believe it came out COLD!! I went back to the kitchen and them know "HOT FOOD is served HOT!! TOTALLY DISAPPOINTED with that experience. The night before i ordered chicken wings, the fries it came with would break everytime i stuck the fork in (they seemed to have been cooked in water perhaps) i took it back to cook and had him deep fry it a little more,..it was pointless. I didn't want BBQ sauce so he made a sorryful honey mustard sauce! I am a Chief Cook and work on ships, i wouldn't feed the food that comes out of that kitchen to my dog!! Awefully disappointed, i'm still shaking my head (4 days later).....

Too much money, tiny noisy room.

Way over priced for what you get. Room was tiny, very old and very noisy facing the street with traffic. Extremely expensive basic level accomodations at a motel/cheap hostel level.

Convenient location and great value

Convenient location near bus terminal and airport, nice breakfast, quiet, excellent price, and great service.

The service was great, food was also great, and the personnel was very helpful and attentive, specially Wellington Cedeño, he really took care of me and always smiling and sincere... el servicio estuvo muy bueno, al igual que la comida.. el personal muy atento y ayudaban, especialmente Wellington Cedeño siempre sonriendo, sincero y más que atento, un gran trabajador!!

Good but not great

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The roomwas clean and convenient to the airport. The free breakfast was average but ok. The biggest problem was waking up to NO hot water in the shower.

Place to stay in Guayaquil

Customer service and reception are the best..

Over night before flying to the Galapagos.

We could not get any hot water in the shower no longer how long we let the water run. Not very comfortable. The front desk was very helpful in answering all our questions. We wanted to do a little walk after breakfast but the area didn’t seem very safe. The hotel did arrange a car for to pick us up at the airport to bring us to the hotel which gave us a sense of security.

Poor customer service

I went to this hotel and had a reservation. Upon arrival the reception informed me that they didn’t have a room for me. They didn’t apologize but told me that I had to go to another hotel for the same price. When I checked the price, that hotel was 25 $ less. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Modern, comfortable rooms, close to the airport

Modern, comfortable rooms, on a quiet (though dingy) street, close to the airport. Not much of interest in the local area but cheap taxi rides easily get you to the central areas of Guayaquil. Hotel staff speak some English and were friendly and helpful with getting us to our 6am flight.

No elavator and a three flight walkup eith your bags.bellman kept the key and came knocking later while i was getting into tbe shower. Bathroom had a 12 inch step up to enter it. No room coffee. Terrible neoghborhood and taxie driver could not find it.

Accesible location.

It is a comfortable place for a short stay, the breakfast was good and the personnel at the reception very kind.

Nothing was too much trouble.

Lovely helpful considerate staff. I needed a fridge, they brought me one. I am allergic to tomatos, which were in the scrambled eggs, they made me fried eggs with bacon. When we sat down to dinner, the waiter brought over the remote to the tv for us. The rooms were clean and comfortable, very spacious, the boathrooms were clean woth a nice shower. The food was very good at dinner. We stay in Guayaquil 3 or 4 times a year, and we will definitely return here.

Really nice place to stay

I have stayed there twice & each time the staff was great, the room clean and comfortable. Anytime I have business at the govt center, I will stay there again.

Nice hotel on business district

Its a small property but has all the amenities of a big hotel. The room & bed are small but comfortable and clean. Breakfast is included: fresh fruits and fresh coffee. Located on the business district of Guayaquil, close to a lot of restaurants and a great gym. Seems like a safe neighborhood. Recommended

68 bucks its a little bit expensive I think so, if you want to take breakfast with other To people of your family you ll have to pay

No hot water in shower even after running 1 hour no window in room air conditioning blows right on my head.

Very nice small hotel, bud odor and noise made me

The room is big and very nice, the service was very good but I had to leave because they put extremely strong air freshener through out the hotel and at the rooms. The room has no insulation to the outdoors and since it is located in a corner with very high traffic you feel that all the windows are open.They just need to improve these two things and it could be a good hotel

Hotel muy bien ubicado, cerca de todo. funcionarios muy atentos y amables, especialmente Veronica que es muy profesional, al igual que los jovenes del restaurante. En general, hotel atiende, con un precio justo y buena localizacion. El Desayuno es bien limitado, pero vale el precio pago.

Inicialmente me entregaron una habitación con cama pequeña, luego me cambiaron de habitación, un pequeño escritorio sin silla, espacio de habitación muy reducida. Limpieza deficiente, al día siguiente no levantaron taza de café que había dejado el día anterior. Los insumos de aseo personal no fueron cambiados de un día para otro. Personal muy amable.
