There were ants in the room. There was no hot water in the shower.

The property needs upgrade and clean. We found a dead cockroach at the elevator on the ground floor for 3 days before it was removed. We got the superior room but it turned out to be inferior to a standard room. The room is so narrow you have to climb to bed from the end. The wooden front door has a wide crack that can be seen from both directions. Shower is dirty and water splash everywhere outisde the stall when in used even with the door closed. This is not their fault but there is construction going on right next door with jack hammer starting at 7:30 am including weekend. What saved our trip was the staffs, êspcially Lily Thao, she is knowledgable with the area and booked us a tour on the CATHERINE 5 stars cruise at the last-minute good price and excellent cruise. She went out of her way to help us with all our needs such as transportation, where to eat, booking flight from Hanoi to other destinations locally. She saved our trip and made our stay very pleasant despite the disatisfaction with the room. She made sure that we were move to a much better room after our cruise of Ha Long bay which is a must. One recommendation when booking hotel thru Ễxpedia dont just take the pictures for granted, it may have been taken long time ago and verify the room dimensions. This is the old quarter so it is a little dirtier and the streets are smaller so some of the tour bus cannot enter. You have to meet them at wider street. Get the deluxe room with balcony!

The hotel staff are amazing and the stay was overall very good. The room was clean and decent but the light above the sink wasn't operational. Not that I needed it.

Great place to stay in the Old Quarter. Very easy to walk to sites, night market, plenty of restaurants and quiet at night. Comfortable bed and hot shower.

The Mayflower Hotel is good value for money however it was the people who work there that defined the experience for me. The staff at the Mayflower are exemplary and could not be more kind or helpful. It was a joy to be there and i look forward to my next visit.

Really loud room-

Location is good but you can hear everything from your room. The housekeeping staff started working on our floor at 8am and woke me up. They were so loud talking. I had to walk out there and ask them to be quiet and they tried but there is just zero soundproof.

The best thing about the hotel is the staff. They are super helpful, friendly, and we’re ready to assist me with currency exchange, tour booking, or general advice about Ha Noi. The rooms were clean and comfortable and right in the middle of old town.

I felt the strength of this property were the people staffing it.Very attentive to any need and was extremely impressed by Kim at the front desk as she went out of her way to guide me on how to enjoy any endevour I went on. Can't speak more highly of her efforts..Felt the breakfast offerings were lacking would be my only concern

Great place close to everything

Clean, very nice staff, and on a very pretty street full of flower vendors.

It was such a good stay and the owner made sure I could keep the suite room most of the time during my stay which felt like home after a fee days already. The vibe at this place is just good, highly recommended! Thanks for everything

Hotel is in a great part of town, near the night markets and beer corner. Service was great.

Hotel is located around one of the night market. Staffs were very friendly and always ensuring that we enjoy our stay. Breakfast and afternoon tea are served too. Staff even prepared a set of breakfast for our early flight. Very thoughtful. Will definitely stay again when we visit.

Amazing service but small ants in the room..

The service was amazing! The entire staff was really attentionate. We had to leave the hotel at 3 AM to catch our flight and they prepared for us a snack so we dont leave without breakfast. The only drawnback is the small ants in the room...

Quiet location, easy 10min stroll to restaurants, bars and markets. Staff are great, Ms Annie on the front desk is efficient and friendly, the door staff are great and the cooked to order breakfasts were great.

Basic but great hotel

Great hotel. Really enjoyed the service from Mr. Tom, Mr. Daniel, Ms. Annie and the rest. Would stay thete again for sure.

Nic location in old town, very clean and the staff were really helpful.

The staff here were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good for vegetarians, free upgrade to deluxe was much appreciated. Room was small but still has enough space to put 2 suitcases on the floor and walk around. Bathroom was small too.

i liked the breakfast. but had to wait alot for the room even though we booked for the hotel. we had to wait for an even longer time to get our luggage which was dissappointing. the stay was not that bad, it was more like meh.

Hidden Gem in the old quarter of Hanoi

The Mayflower was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay there again on my next trip to hanoi.

Al llegar no encontraban nuestra reserva porque decían que no trabajaban con dicha plataforma. Luego la encontraron. La no tenerlo bien previsto nos enviaron a otra habitación ( fue una superior a la nuestra ) al día siguiente no cambiaron de habitación. El interrumpir de la llave de luces estaba roto. Lo repararon y nos pidieron disculpas. Luego bien la comodidad y baño

We had a fantastic stay! The personnel is very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect, all main activities are in walking distance. Eventhough the hotel is in a busy street, when you're in your hotel room it's super quit and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and the balcony was perfect for us, since we have a 2 year old we could still sit outside in the evening. |The airconditioning was a super bonus

Sweetest staff and a nice great place!

Incredibly good service, all the time. Evenafter we checked out from the hotel, they let us hang around in their dining area, serving us coffee and sweets, while we waited for our transport. Nice rooms and a good location.

호안끼엠호 근처에 위치하여 출장업무 및 간단히 둘러보기 괜찮았습니다.

하노이 호안끼엠 호 근처에 있어서 주변에 둘러보기에는 괜찮았습니다. 걱정했던 것 보다 호텔 주변이 시끄럽지 않아서 잠 자는데 크게 불편한 점은 없었구요. 단지 첫날에 침대 커버에서 머리카락 및 개미가 있었던 것이 좀 그랬습니다. 이튿날 침대 커버 교체후에는 괜찮았습니다. 식사는 기본 제공 메뉴 및 쌀국수, 오믈렛, 샌드위치등을 즉석으로 만들어 주었고 맛도 좋았습니다. 출장으로 간 것이어서 룸 내에 노트북을 놓고 업무를 볼 수 있는 높이가 적당한 테이블이 있으면 좋을것 같습니다.

La ubicación del hotel es muy céntrica y es posible desplazarse andando a la mayor parte de los sitios de interés. La habitación que elegimos era muy amplia, aunque el baño resultaba algo pequeño y se salía agua de la ducha. Sí es importante saber que hay ruido de la calle, ya que en Hanoi suenan las bocinas constantemente. Si bien esto es algo ajeno al hotel, pudiendo elegir, recomendaría solicitar una habitación que no dé a la calle. Cabe destacar la amabilidad del personal, siempre preocupados de que todo esté bien. Empleados amables, sonrientes y detallistas. El desayuno no es muy variado y el sitio es pequeño, pero está rico y tienen una carta para poder elegir platos hechos al momento. En recepción hay una persona dedicada a información turística con quien puedes organizar excursiones, traslados, etc. Calidad precio, es una buena elección para alojarse en Hanoi!

Un très beau séjour effectué au Mayflower Hotel Hanoi. J'ai bénéficié d'une chambre très agréable dotée d'une terrasse spacieuse. Une chambre très confortable. Une literie de qualité. Un petit déjeuner excellent et copieux avec un personnel vraiment sympathique et attentionné. La situation de cet hôtel est appréciable. Le quartier animé et agréable. Hanoi est une ville fabuleuse. Je remercie tout le personnel de cet hôtel pour leur professionnalisme et leur gentillesse. J'y reviendrai un jour.
