Beautiful new hotel at a convenient location. It was a nice surprise that breakfast was included, with lots of choices and good coffee. The room was clean and modern and the bathroom is stunning. I would definitely recommend this place.

Positioned alongside the General Ugo Montemurro piazza and monument (a man who happens to be my great uncle), close to amazing restaurants, gelato shops and a supermarket and a short walk to the castle and Centro storico. Thoroughly recommend.

Staff was so kind and friendly. Rooms were clean and location was close to the beach and transport. We loved the breakfast and would recommend anyone to stay here!

The hotel feels like your home. Personnel is gentle and with a smile. Our room was on the small size with our teenage daughter. AC is OK. Breakfast is plenty.

The room is old, bath in good condition, bed is good, staff is very friendly. There is an elevator. If it is not cold is nice to sit outside.

Good hotel but no free bikes

Hotel Mauro is an OK hotel in a quiet neighborhood, easy to find if you are coming by car. The room was OK, but had a plastic carpet, but a decent bed. Bathroom was good. The front desk spoke a mix of only Italian to some English, but service was good. There is wifi, but only in the lobby and a computer with internet that worked from time to time! The front desk seemed little concerned with this. Breakfast was good, but had a lot of cakes which is typical in Italy. If you have a sweet tooth, this place is great! Please note that on hotels.com it says they offer free bikes, but this is WRONG! They haven't done so for over 2 years, which was a major disappointment. Horrible from hotels.com that they are not up to date with this. Instead you can rent for 13 euros a day which is not the same!

Friendly family-run hotel in convenient location

We had 5 lovely days at this hotel - located away from the bustle of the old town of Sirmione with easy access by bus,bike or walk. Bike rental nearby and not far to lakeside for swimming, walking & cycling. Sara on reception has good English and the staff are welcoming and helpful and immediately responsive to any request. It is clear the hotel has many longstanding returning Italian clients .(always a good sign). Definitely recommend.

generally excellent

everything was good about this hotel. the staff was nice and caring. the hotel is located not far from the road to the old city, but since it's in a neighborhood of "regular" people. it seems a bit away. also, the rooms were very COZY yet one thing was missing - if one has a shower, the entire toilet-room is flooded afterwards. leaving a mop in the toilet (since this is a design flaw caused by not constraining the shower zone, nor making the floor in the shower with a slightly larger slope) would make the customer at least feel as if there's a solution...

OK for a night or two

Too lacking in space, comfort and/or (front desk) guest relations-skills for a longer stay. Awesome breakfast though.

Mysigt hotell

Vi va nöjda med hotellet, vi fick rum i den nya delen som fortfarande va under renovering utanför men allt va färdigt och nytt på rummet. Gratis parkering finns utanför hotellet.

Tutto bellissimo .. il ragazzo della reception simpatico e bravissimo nel suo operato.. A noi è capitata la camera ristrutturata .. il bagno veramente stupendo .. Comunque tutta la camera nel complesso.. la colazione era buona essendo un 3 stelle aveva il miele in favo che di prassi trovi nei 4 o 4S soprattutto in hotel in Alto Adige ps aggiungerei le fette biscottate che mancavano c erano solo senza glutine.. e amplierei il parcheggio .. Comunque ci ritornerei detto da me e la mia compagna che lavoriamo in ristorazione negli hotel 4Superior

Klein en knus hotel. Perfecte begeleiding qua zelf incheck. Van alle gemakken voorzien en in moderne stijl ingerichte kamers. Het ontbijt verraste ons. Erg goed en ruim ontbijt. De kwaliteit van alles was boven verwachting.

Nice small hotel, perfect for family of four

We had the junior suite that was perfect for four. Also very convenient with a small kitchen, and a very nice roof terrace. Situated on a calm area of the town. We recommend this place!

La mia esperienza presso l'hotel Mauro è stata eccellente sotto tutti i punti di vista. Struttura pulitissima, personale disponibile e gentilissimo, colazione abbondante e di ottima qualità. Posizionato in maniera strategica, fermata di autobus e shuttle proprio di fronte, in contesto tranquillo ma allo stesso tempo vicino al centro storico. Consiglio vivamente di soggiornare qui, io tornerò sicuramente!

Una bella ristrutturazione è quello che ci vuole a questo albergo,e sinceramente a chi fa pagare un supplemento per un cagnolino non merita nemmeno di essere recensito ,ci hanno fatto fare colazione nella sala bar ....da oggi per quanto mi riguardo ,lontanà dà Hotel Mauro e da Expedia .

Hotel in ruhiger Lage in einer Nebenstraße. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer war sehr klein und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Haus ist sehr hellhörig, man hat das Gefühl dass die Türen eher als Lärmverstärker fungieren, man hört alles was sich in den nachbarzimmern abspielt. Frühstück sehr reichlich, man muss allerdings die Speisen im Voraus bestellen, wegen dem Korona Konzept. Das Konzept ist aber ausgeklügelt und wir fühlten uns sicher. Das Personal ist nett, effizient und zuvorkommend. WLAN langsam

Kein Kühlschrank im Zimmer. Unsauber. Bad viel zu klein. Dusche veraltet. Fenster dreckich. Nur das Frühstück war ganz ok.

De kamer is redelijk klein, de kamers zijn redelijk gehorig. Maar de kamer is schoon , de douche goed, en het uitgebreide ontbijt en de vriendelijkheid van het personeel maakt alles goed

Albergo "vintage" ma comunque confortevole, pulito con ricca colazione. Staff gentilissimo, si sono offerti di prenotarci un tavolo in ristorante convenzionato, dove abbiamo cenato (domenica di agosto e ristorante pieno) in terrazza con deliziosa vista sul lavo di Garda.

Personale gentile e disponibile. La struttura è molto vecchia con scarsa manutenzione (scarichi di doccia e lavandino intasati, maniglia della finestra rotta, giardino incolto, lampadina bruciata in bagno)

Hotel 3 stelle solo nella carta

Non è un 3 stelle. Materassi scomodi. Sporco pieno di capelli il lavandino oltre che otturato. L'attacco della doccia è molto scomodo. Noi eravamo nella stanza 41 che era nella dependance adiacente all'hotel che vedevamo sul sito internet. Non ci tornerei più. Caro e al di sotto delle aspettative.
