We decided to visit Masseria Salinola after reading a travel article about Puglia in Woman & Home magazine. It did not disappoint! I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

What an amazing property. The owners and hosts for our stay were remarkable. Love the fact that this property has been passed down over generations and they make you feel as if you’re part of the family. I would absolutely recommend this property. My only regret was not staying more than 2 nights. Will definitely stay longer the next time. Thanks to the entire staff for such a memorable experience.

Wonderful family run Masseria. Unique and beautiful. Delicious breakfast and romantic flavorful dinner. Enjoyed everything especially the fire pits for evening gathering 😊

Absolutely stunning place Authentic top class dinner is served with local ingredients and is changed on a daily basis - whilst not cheap with more regular restaurants, this would be one of the best if not the best restaurants in Ostruni

Family run property. Very authentic, you can tell the family works hard and the property is filled with lots of love and care. Food was amazing location is great if you want to venture to Ostuni town which is very beautiful and filled will live music and places to visit at night. 10/10 we will be back. Perfect for a couple get away, family vacation even with kids. Can’t say enough about how much we loved this place.

We love the property! It is clean, quiet and comfy. It is absolutely an escape from your usual life. We want to go back again in the future. We are so glad we made this choice which proved to be wonderful. Though the surrounding is nothing to hang around, the property itself is sufficient for a lovely stay!!

This was such a good place to stay. Very well located for all of the main sights, very calm and relaxed and with a wonderful restaurant. You definitely need a car as nothing is within walking distance, although it's easy to park in Ostuni which is only a 10 minute drive.

Beautiful hotel, great and very attentive staff.

What a beautiful stay! We wish we had booked more nights. Not only is the properly absolutely gorgeous with amazing architecture, views and beautifully appointed rooms, we loved how welcoming the staff were, the various options and amenities available to us if we chose to stay on the resort for the day and how delicious the food was on the property. Truly 10/10. Parking was super easy and convenient and a short 7 min drive to the town of ostuni if you did choose to go in.

What a warm and welcoming place! We had a lovely stay. The room was so charming, and everything was well thought out. We had dinner and breakfast and enjoyed both tremendously. They accommodated a gluten-free child without an issue. We highly recommend!

Just and amazing Masseria - absolute stunning and such a great location to explore

Nestled amongst the olive trees in the Puglian countryside you’ll find Masseria Salinola. Our only complaint about this place is that we couldn’t move in permanently—we didn’t want to leave! The grounds are beautifully kept and the staff makes you feel as if you are family. Each morning starts with a beautiful breakfast spread (all homemade) with dedicated times throughout the day for tea, homemade cakes and drinks. The rooms are spectacular and tranquil. All of the products are made on-site, and we cleared out much of the small gift shop to bring back their olive oil for cooking, and soaps and shampoos. If you are still reading this review and haven’t booked yet, now is the time! We could not have asked for a better stay.

A beautiful property with excellent staff and amazing facilities- worth every penny

The team were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were beautiful and communal areas traditional and lovely. It is a short drive into the town with nothing really within walking distance.

Great place

Nice Masseria. Amazing service and food

Property, service and food are excellent. F=Too many flyers on the property, it is not when you are being outside or around the pool.

The team at the Masseria Sallinola are excellent. The setting is beautiful and excellent for both relaxin around the pool and for exploring the area. We were presented with a welcome drink and options for what to do during the day and a stunning evening meal in the hotel on our first night. The room itself was nicely laid out with a good shower, although not quite situated at a height tall enough for someone over 6foot to use easily. The only slight issue was the mosquitos around the hotel, but the hotel provided insect repellent to try and help combat that and there's very little they could do as they are just in the area.

A really magical stay with the most amazing food

My boyfriend and I had a great time staying at the Masseria Salinola. The staff were all so friendly and the place had so many nice touches, such as an honesty bar so you can help yourself to drinks throughout the day. The pool area and ground were really nice and tranquil, it was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to Ostuni in the future.

Paradise in Puglia

Absolutely delightful and incredibly stylish masseria a short distance from the centre of Ostuni. Rooms were impeccable with gorgeous touches, stunning stone walls, well appointed bathrooms. Grounds were immaculate and beautiful with cacti and olive trees. The family running the place is beyond friendly and helpful. One of the most delightful places I’ve ever stayed. Can’t tecommend it highly enough!

Fantastic family run hotel

Lovely family run hotel which is rustic and relaxing and very tranquil. My husband and daughter and I stayed here for a week and the family who ran the hotel were very welcoming. Daniele in particular was extremely helpful and supportive of our needs. One thing I should point out is that it is a very tranquil place that people seemed to come to for peace and quiet and I did feel like it therefore wasn’t the best place for us to be with our noisy toddler as was disruptive to other guests. Not a fault of the hotel but if you are looking for somewhere to take young children it probably isn’t the right place as doesn’t necessarily have the right vibe for kids. The breakfast and dinner times were not really set up entirely for young kids either which meant we ended up eating in our room with our toddler a lot. Otherwise it was lovely and we were made to feel very welcome.

A beautiful and peacfeul place to stay near Ostuni

Amazing Service and Kindness of the owners and staff. They made us feel as friends. The property is beautiful and in perfect conditions. The Food is great (products from their own farm) and they have attention to every details.

Wonderful place

Beautiful place, immaculately kept and presented. We had an incredibly relaxing few days with some superb food and local wine - we ate there 3/4 nights. Daniele and his family are hugely helpful and friendly and make you feel at home at all times. Perfect place for a few days’ relaxation

First Class on Every Level

Exceptional property. Warm and helpful staff. Accommodation beautiful, spotless and spacious. Comfortable furniture throughout the property grounds. Lovely pool with loungers. A 10 min/15 euro taxi ride into Ostuni. Lots of great places to visit within an hours drive.

A wonderful experience in a tranquil and beautiful setting. Danielle and his family have created such a welcoming and homely atmosphere with an excellent service and attention to detail. Breakfast and dinner was exceptional using fresh, home made products served in a fabulous dining room. I look forward to visiting again!

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay

We really loved our 4 night stay here. The building and grounds are beautiful and our room, the dining spaces and outside pool/veranda have all been decorated to a very high standard. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent, some of the best meals we had on our holiday. Can’t recommend highly enough, will definitely stay again!

A Wonderful Place to Stay

On the fringes of the Valle d'Itria is this tranquil oasis of calm and relaxation, a high class romantic setting close to Otsuni. The place is just beautiful, the rooms have been exquisitely furnished and sympathetically created from their Puglian origins, full of charm and character. The staff and service were highly professional , very friendly and helpful and the food is as good as any top class restaurant, is there anything else to say..

"Tranquility".... personified!!!!!

Very pleasant stay, all-be-it a little more remote than we had envisaged. However, staff and general atmosphere very pleasant and I would recommend to anyone seeking a relaxed, quite retreat to chill out and spend time for reflection perhaps. Our overall experience as a good one.

A perfect place

Our stay at the Masseria Salinola was a blissful experience. It is a beautiful spot on earth, made more special by its family history and subtle elegance. Our meal, prepared by "mom", was beyond exquisite. We wished we could have spent more time there!

Farm experience

Lovely room and bathroom. Very comfortable. Very private small hotel and also an operating farm. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented with locally grown products.

Wonderful Renovated Farmhouse

My stay at Masseria Salinola was absolutely wonderful. The staff was fantastic, the grounds were impeccable, and the food was beyond belief. I would go back in a heartbeat.

A perfect stay!!

Such a relaxing place to stay! A beautiful hotel with plenty of spaces to relax in the sunshine and a great pool to cool off in. I definitely recommend dining in as the food is superb. Italian cooking at its best, focusing on the finest ingredients. A great way to try authentic cuisine from the region. Daniele was the perfect host and I hope we will return!

Very good hotel close to Ostuni

We had a very pleasant stay and using the restuarant every evening as the food and ambiance were so good. The staff were excellent and everyone made us so welcome. Family run and it showed in the detail they went to to ensure we were well looked after.

Comfortable place in Ostuni

We spent a few days at this Masseria as a home base for daily excursions around Puglia. The location is great. The hotel is very comfortable and Daniele, the owner is very helpful and accomodating. The restaurant in the off season isn't open during the week, so we only had breakfast here and that was good. I would recommend this Masseria for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Ostuni.

Fantastic winter break

Great hotel, outstanding breakfast and excellent staff!

Conveniently positioned to tour the area.

The family who owned the B & B were very helpful and welcoming. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The pool area was exceptional and there were many areas to sit and read in comfort. The breakfasts were lovely and the evening meals although a set menu were delicious. They only comment I would make is that it would have been nice to be able to make a tea or coffee in our room but i'm sure if we asked one would have been provided. Overall I would highly recommend this destination
