The owner and David are the best, super nice

We needed a relaxing couple of days after finishing a non stop cruise. This was the perfect place for that! It’s beautiful and so quaint. The owners made you feel like you were at home, so gracious and accommodating. Next time, I want to go in the summer months so I can use the beautiful pool!! Everything is super clean. The food we had in the cellar was excellent also!!!! Can’t wait to visit again.

Our stay was short so we didn’t get to enjoy the many amenities offered at this property (spa,pool and the surrounding area). Dinner in the cellar was definitely a highlight and a unique experience!

Beautiful views from my room balcony, I didn’t want to leave. The dinner was delicious and romantically set in the cellar, The grounds are lovely with geese roaming around, I felt like i was on a movie set. Lovely experience I highly recommend this place with a group of your close friends or your love for an intimate weekend gathering around the pool , sipping cava and noshing on delightful snacks served by the owners themselves. you never need to leave the resort, or if you do I recommend a local Cava tour through their caves. it was a ffun experience and there are several wineries around within a 15 minute drive., the owners can guide you. This hotel is definitely a great place to be with your special someone for a getaway to remember.

A Beautiful Stay in Paradise

We booked this B&B while we were planning to take in the surrounding Penedes region. The only issue we had was that we didn't give ourselves enough time to fully appreciate the property. The owners and staff are so hospitable and gracious. The landscape and relax spaces are expertly maintained, you'll find animals and a garden on the property as well. Beds were super comfortable, would say it was my best sleep in all of Spain. We enjoyed two meals at the B&B and every bite was amazing. I would say have the duck if you haven't already and take them up on the Catalan inspired dishes. The steak tartare was also a favourite and they prepare it on the table right in front of you. This place is about 15 mins from most vineyards/wineries so please do check them out and don't book anything under 3 nights, especially if you're doing anything else in the region.

The evening dinner was to die for. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful It was our last stop in 30 days and the best.

Our experience at this property was exceptional. It’s located in a small town only a few kilometers from the highway nestled in the vineyards with excellent views of Montserrat. The rooms are large and well appointed. We spent a relaxing afternoon sampling local wines and hanging out with farm’s geese and other animals in their courtyard. Dinner in the wine cellar was excellent with more wine selections. Special thanks to Juan who serves as receptionist, bell hop, bartender and server during the afternoon and evening. Valeri and his wife prepared a great breakfast the following morning. This property is truly a gem and the only downside was only spending one day.

Relaxing stay

It was a relaxing stay with wonderful service and food. I recommend experiencing the dinner and breakfast and stay for more than 1 night if possible.

This property is one of the best hotels that I stayed at. Very friendly staff, historical facility located in the middle of vineyards and in a very quiet and safe locality. Staff are very friendly and breakfast is very good. The location is about 25 mins away from the center of Barcelona and it is better to plan good transportation ahead of time.

Delightful people and hotel. Couldn't ask for a quieter or more peaceful stay.

The entire staff is very friendly and professional. The wonderful family history of this beautifully updated and repurposed home is only surpassed by the warmth and attention of the staff and the current owners whose family has owned this vineyard for many generations.

A beautiful property. Family owned - they even come out to greet you. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The property is beautiful to walk around and enjoy the views. The dining room is awesome-dinner is served in a wine cave with white linen decor. Breakfast is served in a lovely dinning room with a traditional food. Coffee was delicious. Definitely will visit again.

Hotel is great, but bare in mind that the owners live in the property with their children and you will bump into them all the time

Beautiful vineyard oasis. Charming inn on a huge vineyard. Ours was the most basic of the room selection but very comfortable as the grounds were the highlight. I suspect other rooms for a little more per night would be more impressive (this was a 1 night stop on way to Barcelona airport so not planned as a spa getaway). The pool is sparkling clean and the grounds are beautiful. Dining in the old winery barrel room is perfect, our dinner was excellent and well priced. We had outstanding service our entire stay, even delivering our pre dinner drinks to us as we sat at the edge of the vineyard on comfy patio furniture. Geese and chickens roam part of the property - I suspect it was their fresh eggs we enjoyed for our wonderful made to order breakfast in the morning. So much care and attention for guests and the property is very evident and appreciated. Several times during our stay my husband and I commented to each other what an amazing property and hosts we had found in this beautiful destination just outside of Barcelona. We hope to return for a longer stay in the future!

Great setting in the vineyards on the edge of a small village. Do yourself a favor and unwind at this place- the staff was excellent as was the food.

Wonderful place - stay here if you can

Great place at the outskirts of a charming and very clean village. Owners are extremely nice. Breakfast was fantastic. The pool was very inviting, although it was closed in January during our visit. The courtyard and petting zoo were also very nice. We didn't eat at the restaurant the evening we were there, but we understand the meals are great. The cost is 25€. There is another restaurant at a 5 minute walk that has dinner for 15€. Our room had a nice view of the vineyards and mountains. It was on the smaller side. A second hand towel would have been nice, but we managed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the area was very quiet. There were church bells that could be heard very faintly throughout the night - not loud enough to wake someone, but audible if one was already awake. We only stayed one night, but this is a place that would be great for several days just to relax and unwind.

The owners are very nice. The rooms are lovely as is the property. My only negative is that the dinner is overpriced.

This was a fabulous rural old hacienda type spa! Extraordinarily friendly staff, tons of character, and amazing breakfast spread. All set amongst the vineyards!

Beautiful find in the Penedes

Beautiful place, family atmosphere, lovely host (Valeri and his family) and such a clean and comfy room with a direct view on the vineyards, in the middle of the countryside. Highly recommend !

The owners were terrific about accommodating all requests. I wish it had been mentioned to rent a car as the property is about 40 minutes from downtown train and airport. This was a remote but gorgeous vineyard. In order to see downtown, we cut short our trip by one night to move to downtown Barcelona.

A hidden treasure in the countryside a short distance from Barcelona. This amazing home originally built 350 years ago has everything you need in lodging to enjoy Spain. Exceptionally clean rooms, beautiful grounds, friendly staff, amazing food ( dinner served in the wine cellar), a working farm ,situated in the middle of miles of vineyards, and a pool. Anyone traveling in this region must stay here.

This place is amazing, apart from everything, you feel in peace. The host, makes you feel like home. The apartment was perfect and beautiful.

Spain has so much history on display and this property just carries that tradition. Our host mebtioned to us that this is about 300 years old property. Imagine building a house with a cellar on a mountain thats just 150 meter off road! The drive around was adventurous to say the least (might give shocks to those who have not been in country side)

We absolutely loved our stay at Can Canyes! If you are looking for a different experience and some quiet away from everything...this is for you. Dinner was amazing, the amenities fantastic and the hospitality beyond expectations! Valerie and Claudia make you feel like family guests in their home. 10 stars!!!

A unique property.

Lovely place to stay. Has been in the same family for over 300 years. A very special place that we would recommend anyone coming to the cava area to experience. We will.

Loved the property was so beautiful. Nice town. Although away from the city it is lovely. Buses to the city, beautiful views. Enjoyed everything a bout the farm. Very pleasing. Kind staff and lounge beautiful. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful setting. Beautiful property. Nice family and decor. We paid a lot extra for bringing kids and also charged 50 euros for using the spa area so that was unexpected and annoying and not a huge spa but still nice. Wish there more food options around but it was a nice time for sure.

Beautiful property. Stunning location, in a little village but out enough that you feel secluded whilst having walkable access to a local supermarket and cafes. Family who owned the property were so lovely and spoke very good English. Spa treatments were great and very professional and affordable. The weather wasn't warm enough to use the swimming pool but the area was super clean and picturesque. Lots of outside seating in the courtyard and a lovely seating area right out the front overlooking the vineyards. The farm animals were a lovely little touch, we went to see them every morning and evening and they were very happy to say hello to us! Wide choice of breakfast available, and the family kindly offered freshly scrambled eggs and omelettes. The restaurant was lovely, quite intimate but a great setting. Food was delicious however no vegetarian main meal options. Our room was very spacious, plenty of storage and floor space. Bathroom huge with double sink and lovely shower. Rooms had lots of windows with natural light, and also heating and air-con facilities for the unpredictable weather! Plenty of parking available outside the property. The only thing we missed was no fridge in the bedroom as we liked to have extra drinks after dinner but we resolved this by putting them on the outside window ledge overnight.

Lovely property, well-maintained with extremely pleasant staff. Was only there for a short night but very satisfied. Donkeys, goats, chickens and even a cute black pig!

Very pleasant stay hotel staff very courteous and helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

Idyllic, romantic, charmingly restored 14th century farmhouse amidst vineyards. Mountain views from front and back of property. 30 minutes from Montserrat. Wish we could have stayed longer. Very welcoming owners who understand English

A lovely stay.

If you want a charming stay with a gourmet meal in a welcoming country/vineyard setting this is a fine spot. The young couple and their toddler are a delight and could not be more accommodating. Having dinner there is definitely the thing to do.

Idealic and serene

This is the perfect estate property experience near Montserrat and surrounded by beautiful vineyards and views Valerie and his wife do an incredible job with customer service and making it a unique experience. We enjoyed the dinner and the spa, (perfect for the rainy day we ended up having!) both are additional fees, but well worth it. The food was delicious, the spa is relaxing and the entire experience was better than I anticipated

Local lindíssimo! Paisagem inesquecível. Tudo perfeito: staff muito atencioso, quarto e banheiro amplos e confortáveis. Café da manhã delicioso. Restaurante para jantar excelente e intimista. Chef competente. Ótima opção para um turismo rural não muito distante de Barcelona e de Montserrat (aproximadamente meia hora de distância de carro de cada uma dessas cidades). Espero retornar para experiência nas vinícolas da região.

A wonderful place to stay, very beautiful.

This place is amazing! Welcoming and friendly staff made everything to make us feel as if we were their very personal guests! We really enjoyed the pool area and the very nice and relaxing garden. The room was nice and clean, we slept like babies. We will definitely come back and bring friends too!

En otroligt tacksam kund

Boendet är helt fantastiskt. Det är en lugn plats att vila och njuta av en fridfull miljö med god mat och dryck och en fantastisk service. Även om maten var fantastiskt god var vi sugna på skaldjur som inte fanns på menyn men det ordnades av boendet, dessutom otroligt gott och snyggt upplagd.
