We booked this last minute (after not staying at the Baymont I had originally booked). The staff was friendly, the hotel itself was clean and warm, and in a much better area than our first hotel. The parking situation is not ideal as most parking is very far from enterable doors, but once inside, it was nice. The for-fee breakfast was nice, the lobby was inviting and the rooms had hardwood floors. The most annoying thing (aside from the parking situation) is a Marriott policy of charging for wifi. In this day, no place should be charging guests for wifi.

Everyone I came in contact was beyond accommodating. They let me do late check out, set up an allergy, free room, etc.. Wish it had a restaurant during the day open but the restaurant and the bar is very nice.

They gave me unclean room first time. and when I showed the video of the room they changed my room.

Check in staff very accommodating to our needs. Bartender very pleasant and knowledgeable. He was very busy but tended to everyone just some people needed a little more patience. We will definitely be returning.

I think the bar and restaurant should be open earlier on the weekends because there is not many sit down restaurants close by to have brunch.

Staff goes above and beyond at this upscale hotel. I found that the lack of trash receptacles to be bothersome. Would have been nice to have the heater in the pool fixed in a timely manner. Hotel was otherwise enjoyable

We just stayed a night prior to surgery at a local hospital. The shower was stuck on one setting which was “painful” or “sandblaster” mode which was awful. I feel like paying this amount for a room the shower would have all 5 options available on the nozzle

Was a little disappointed with the fact that the pool heater has not been fixed or replaced for a week or more. The recent renovations are exquisite. Unfortunately I felt that some of the areas were a tad stuffy. Overall was extremely pleased with my stay.

Overall a great stay. Only thing that bothered me was the lack of parking, being that this is a combined property, there should be more parking available. Also it takes an insanely long time to walk to your room if you are at the end of a hall. Other than those things, the stay was great. Wish I would have had the chance to utilize the lounge.

Everything was great except for the HVAC system in the room was EXTREMELY LOUD and sounded broken. Couldn’t sleep - but only stayed for one night so wasn’t worth complaining about.

The property is well-situated to OSU. The hotel is clean and the staff was friendly. Beds slept well, but the quality of the bed linens could be improved to have more substance … the pillows were quite flat and the comforter quite thin for a Marriott. The one thing that stood out for us was the fact that there was no brunch . So we could not get food in the hotel on a cold rainy day between 11am-4pm. That’s strange for a Marriott.

The rooms are great—I loved no carpeting. They accommodated us for a lower floor. Check in was simple.

We stayed for one night because we had a concert in the area and the hotel was in a perfect location. Only issues were parking at night it was limited a little and having to come in a separate entrance we didn’t know about. They close main entrance at a certain time. Overall it was a good stay and we would definitely stay again.

We have loved this hotel as we have stayed many time prior to this. A little disappointed this trip as there was a tube top left in our room which makes me second guess how well the room was cleaned. Nothing done except a promise to talk to house keeping about it.

The room had everything I needed and the place was so quiet. I enjoyed my evening at the bar which had great service. Very convenient to the downtown location for my business purpose. And lots of great food options a short drive away.

I likes the built in night light in the bathroom. I don’t like that there isn’t complimentary breakfast.

We stayed for the OSU first home football game! Stay were wonderful! Very friendly and helpful! We loved the free shuttle service to the game- it was an added benefit we weren’t expecting and enjoyed!

Very classy room. It felt luxury to me. The restaurant downstairs was nice to have. Great parking for osu football and they even had a free shuttle bus to the game.

Front desk staff amazing, Jerry was very helpful our entire stay. Helped us with a delivery we needed to receive and she coordinated our extra night to avoid a room switch. Just a lovely person to interact with- thank you! Gentlemen in receiving was very helpful picking up our packages. Staff we met were all lovely. Hotel is clean & modern. Our room was clean and comfortable. Warm Ohio State spirit felt, will stay again.

Property was very clean and close to OSU campus.

Very nice property that is driving convenient to OSU where we just dropped off our son for his freshman year. Area is safe, just nothing to do within walking distance. Property is in excellent Marriott-typical shape and the staff has been professional, helpful and friendly. Property seems relatively new, attached to a Marriott Residence Inn. Not as upscale as the traditional Marriott brand property but it is up to standard. Bed was very comfortable, room and property very clean.

We showed up at the hotel @ 11pm after having received text messages all day saying they were excited to have us, hope check in was smooth, etc. Only to find out that they did not have a room available for us and not notified. We were told to come back the next day and they would have a room. Totally unacceptable. We had to ask for a referral to another hotel and it was a shady property 15/20 mins away. Needless to say, I did not stay at the hotel and found another option in the am.

Love it here. Will definitely stay again when passing through to other states. We had asked for a microwave upon arrival which they didn’t have but the moment we explained our child’s dietary restrictions, they were kind enough to offer on the only microwave they had up front. Thank you. Next time I’ll request ahead of time.

Having to pay extra for Wi-Fi makes me incredibly mad. There was a free option that didn’t work at all. I paid the $20 due to a family emergency and needing Wi-Fi and it was barely adequate. The front desk did refund the money but given a choice of hotels I will always in the future pick one with free Wi-Fi- no more Marriott for me unless you change your policy.

This Marriott property is wonderful from the moment of check-in it was a great experience, the staff was over the top and accommodating whatever request was made, the rooms were clean everything was clean very nice. I have one or two critiques about this property there is no microwave in the room or a mirror by the desk to apply your makeup.
