Excellent hotel
Excellent service all the staff were very accommadating, lovely place.
Clean and spacious hotel. Great food spread and options.
Most unhelpful staff, the description of the resort on Expedia is exaggerated and not true. I wouldn’t recommend this resort, as there are many available which are far superior at this price.
Accommodation was spacious and clean. However, there was no functioning telephone line, no wi-fi and AC was not working. The staff were most unhelpful and most couldn't communicate in English. The al-a-carte restaurants and bars (as advertised) were permanently closed. There was only one dining option in the restaurant which was abysmal. The swimming pool was nice and the evening entertainment was of average quality. I wouldn’t recommend this resort as there are many available which are definitely superior, at this exaggerated price. Not going back.
Really good stay! All the staff work really hard! Abdel at the terrace bar was great. Area to improve, they kept running out of ice at the bars
Lovely hotel, enormous pool, plenty of room and sun beds, very friendly and helpful staff. Fabulous time!
Clean accomodation, excellent attentive staff, fun swimming pool, plenty of food choice and fabulous weather. What more could you ask for! Fantastic family holiday! Kids absolutely loved it!
On arrival the reception staff were not helpful, charged me 4 x the tourist tax I was expecting to pay. Reception is nice but that's it, the room was dirty with hair in the bathroom, the sunbeds were the dirtiest I have ever come across. Restaurant food was cold, they put fresh food on top of the food already there and not much choice. I asked one day why the food was cold and the lady seemed confused that I asked and she made fresh fries for my daughter. The birds were wadding in the pool, tells me there was not much chlorine in there, round the pool edge was grim, just filthy. Would not recommend
Bon rapport qualité prix et personnel très disponible
This should be a great hotel for couples. The rooms have queen beds and the pooll and the staff are excellent. The rooms do not have jetted tubs as suggested on Expedia. However they are of a high quality. This property is let diwn by poor and repetitive food. A very poor liquor selection. With no international brands even at extra costs. The evening disco is alcohol free even though it has a better bar than the all inclusive one. Tapas bar not open at all during our stay. Not a hotel for food lovers unless you are vegetarian and addicted to aubergines. Ten different aubergine dishes on second night. Meat almost none existent and tagines which I love poorly cooked with poor quality fatty and grizzly meat. Fish dishes ok but dried out under lights. No lamb at all during our visit. This hotel needs to wake up, to the realities and demands of the modern day traveller.
The property grounds, especially the outdoor areas near the pool were beautiful with amazing views. The staff were also super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, our room was pretty disappointing. It was not very clean, and the tub and sink would clog after 2-3 seconds of the water running, which made using the bathroom really unpleasant.
The hotel itself is beautiful. Jews of the Atlas Mountains behind. The hotel is let down by the poor rooms. Really poor. The shower flooded the bathroom. The aircon leaked in the middle of the night. It wasn’t great. However, the hotel food is really good. Great Moroccan food available with some western options every night.
A good accomodation with nice staff and wonderful ambience. One major thing that could be improved is property condition, there were times when areas within the accomodation looked less than appealing to use
It was a lovely stay
The pictures when looking this hotel does not do the hotel justice. it was absolutely beautiful and stunning, the staffs were amazing and soo friendly. I am definitely coming back again
The property and staff are really great. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Except for the terrible food at the restaurant everything was great
Hotel was amazing. The staff very polite and helpful. My room had a few cockroaches but other than that the hotel was amazing and so was the service.
Too cold at night in winter
Stayed for 6 days Christmas with family of 7. Rooms attractive & clean comfortable but only warm if noisy wall heating left on all the time. Biggest prob, all public areas were not heated and very cold, doors left open permanently, with outside temperature of 2 C at night (daytime temp ok) Bar and Ents. area were also outside, too cold to sit anywhere. Food was buffet and fine selection. Boiling water urn would have useful for making breakfast tea instead of an electric kettle! No heated swimming pool anywhere. Staff overall were very efficient efficient and very friendly but Reception were unable to do anything about the heating.
first time all inclusive, staffs very friendly, area clean, lots of food options. really enjoys the lamb chop, i have enjoyed every second of my stay. however water very cold, i couldn't swim.
Too expensive for what it is.
Too expensive for what it is.
We had a lovely stay. It was the break we needed. Plenty of food choices. More vegetarian dishes and better labelling would improve the meal times.
Reception staff were very friendly and helpful unlike the kitchen staff. Lovely complex although remote with a limited busy bus shuttle to town. Its about 30minutes when the shuttle is running. The pool is amazing with a heated section even though its oudoors. Towels are provided free of charge. Spacious rooms which are kept clean but the decor is aged and have a lovely little outdoor seated area. The gym has good equipment and in a nice setting although the opening hours are from 9 till 7pm The all inclusive part of the experience was disappointing. The alcoholic drinks were very limited and the wine was shocking and all alcohol is native ! Dont even try any of the 3 available cocktails. The food was the same every day and although there was some variation it was dry or overcooked with very little imagination. A great hotel complex with some lovely staff in the reception and pool area but the kitchen and bar staff need replacing with fresh blood who want to offer customer service. Overall i would come back for the venue but not the service which makes it difficult. It was my first ever experience of All Inclusive and I was left disappointed.
Very clean room, staff was excellent and the food was very good.
This was my second stay in Marrakesh. It seemed like the perfect escape for some February sunshine. The highlights of this hotel were the attractive buildings and planting, large pools (with one being heated even in February.), Spacious and calming rooms, friendly staff, and good quality food. The negatives about the hotel for us were mainly to do with the volume of the constant music that ran from 10 am to 5 pm and could be heard everywhere on site including in your room with the windows and door shut. If you’re not a fan of constant thumping bass then this probably isn’t the hotel for you. The spa was pretty much closed except for the treatment room and the pool there was not heated and not in use. The alcohol choices were very limited but they poured a generous gandt and local wine was pretty good and could be found all day. As we were ‘off season’ the hotel was about 1/4 full leaving plenty of space in the restaurant, bar and round the pool. We’d happily return ( with earplugs) to enjoy the sunshine and trips to the souk which is 30 min on the hotel shuttle bus .
Ok staff. Breakfast lunch and has been good for a 4 star.
Not too bad
The property was huge, with beautiful landscaping. It was out of the immediate city, and very quiet. The staff were nice and the food was good.
Nice hotel, but needs renovations
Even though our bedroom clealry needed some urgent renovations, our stay was overall good. The pool area was nice and the food service was good. Kudos for the staff as they were able to help us both times we needed some assistance during our stay.
We booked for 2 nights but could not go for the first night. We emailed the hotel, no response. We called the hotel and informed that we will check in next morning but when we arrived, despite for paying for last night, it took us a lot of hassle and argument to check in. The toilet was dirty, shower had trickling water, AC was leaking. I had to pull the bed out to keep the bed dry. No airport shuttle available, hotel too far from anywhere. There are great hotels and riads in Marrakesh, no need to stay here.
This is not a 4-star hotel. Food was good but repetitive. Pool fantastic. Terrace Bar and Pool Bar kept running out of spirits and mixers, difficult to get a cold beer, sometimes no beer. Better management needed. Rooms well appointed, but towels supplied in rooms were shocking, worn, full of holes, like drying yourself with sandpaper. Both alternative restaurants were closed and fountains around the hotel were not operating. I would not recommend this hotel for elderly or infirm as distance from rooms to reception was quite long and some of the paths very uneven.
Food was excellent, staff are professional and nice. very clean hotel with immense space and yard. The ambiance is fantastic. Although it’s 4mikes from the city there is a shuttle along the day. The last comes back from the city at 11pm. We are very happy for choosing this hotel.
Good hotel, delicious food but far
Very nice hotel with delicious food. Hotel is a bit dated and when I spoke with most people, they had some problems with the room like the shower wasn't working or there was a leak or something was wrong but it does get fixed. Overall recommended. Very far from the town and everything, at least 30 mins from Jame al fana. Its a massive hotel with a very nice pool. Staff are good especially Yassine at reception.
Liked spa facilities Disliked walk from room to reception
The property looks amazing both inside and outside with beautiful traditional decoration. The selection of food in the restaurant is quite disappointing for lunch and evening meals. All the food was not clearly labelled as I was unsure which may contain nuts. More lights outside is needed as it gets very dark walking through the grounds to the rooms in the early morning and at night
Fab stay at Ona.we went all Inclusive and shocked at how good the food was as some hotels can be very bland and boring and it was the complete opposite. It is a little out of the way but the free shuttle to the markets was really useful. The entertainment was good however you could hear it in the room but we weren't bothered but did hear a lot of others complaining. The hotel exceeded our expectation and will returning for sure.
Great rooms with lovely outlook. Spa was great and good value. Breakfast was a great selection. Some staff were fantastic, others clearly disliked their jobs.
The hotel was very beautiful and comfortable. The buffets were fresh and delicious and the variety of food was fantastic. The pool set up is beautiful. The lobby is gorgeous. The down side is the bar only took cash and the hotel is far away from things.
My first thoughts when I checked into the hotel was that I had made a big mistake and should have listened to all the other reviews. The women on the reception was very rude, leave you waiting for 30 minutes before dealing with your check in. I watched two other couples come after me and check in and go to their rooms. To make matters worse they allocated me a basic standard room when I paid for a superior room. I moved rooms 4 times before they gave me the right room. After travelling many hours this was the last thing I wanted. The room was clean and everything worked ok. Although the rooms have just been refreshed there is room for improvement. Bed was very comfortable and we didn't suffer with infestation of ants like many others did.
The best part of the property was the dining experience. The food was fantastic and the staff in the “La Medina” were great. The front desk was terrible! During checkin the front desk kept several guest waiting. When it was finally my turn, I checked and confirmed they were issuing the correct room, when I arrived the it was the wrong room. The room they placed me in was building 13 and there were NO LIGHTS when I stepped outside of my room, it was pitch black, I had to use my flashlight to get to the lobby, then i was told to come back the next day to receive the proper room. When I finally received the suite I paid for, the tv did not work and there were Spider webs everywhere. The staff stated they would have someone fix the tv, but no one came-ever. The front desk constantly attempted to overcharge me for the taxi, but fortunately I had an email the stated a fixed rate of $15 when they constantly tried to charge me $30. ONA front desk was a headache.
The property looked amazing online but in reality it was very disappointing except the pool. The pool was the only thing I liked about the hotel. The staff was very rude and not helpful at all, when I asked to change the room as I was not happy with it they said ‘you can leave the hotel’. This was the worst experience in my life would never go back to the same hotel ever or recommend to anyone. The service was very very poorly and misleading. The bathroom was dirty, phone in the room did not work the whole time we had our stay, no tissues, no towels and full off ants even on the bed.

It was beautiful, staff were helpful and polite, great customer services. The food was Ahhh-mazing, great variety and tasted yummy, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Only negative was issues with AC in the room, it was on and cold, we tried turning on the heating function but didn’t work, it took us complaining twice before they were able to sort it. The first night sleep was really bad because of the cold, aside from that it was a great experience.
