Excellent location, staff and owner on site. Went out of their way to help when needed.
Great location. Loved the view of the marina and partial view of the ocean. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. The bed was not very comfortable. The balcony was so small it was almost useless. The curtains - ugh - super frustrating. Weird layout with the closet behind the bathroom door. Good wi-fi. Roomy shower with good pressure and lots of hot water. Coffee in the room was just ok. Very safe and clean.
We loved our 8 nights at this little boutique hotel on the south side of the Nuevo marina. The staff were terrific! Very helpful and super friendly. The restaurant in the hotel (Maizul) as well as many others nearby were excellent. The beach is only a few minutes away on foot. The hotel supplied us with towels, umbrella, boogie boards, and a wagon at no charge. We would definitely stay here again.
The property is a lovely Boutique Hotel.
We loved our room and stay! Super friendly staff!
The staff are very kind and the place is clean. The property has potential but 403 needs an update. Older furniture, 32” tv is too small for the space, hot shower may or may not happen, (even with staff trying to blame us for not knowing how to turn the knob in the correct direction.) We had a few hot showers but mostly, it wasn’t available. Bathroom counter, mirror toilet needs updating. After a long, hot day of sightseeing, English TV channels would have been nice. Not a big deal but just sharing that you may need a backup plan if your Spanish is weak. This hotel was pleasant enough but rm 403 shows as a 3.0 star with guest experience around a 4.0 star. (This is not a 5 star hotel. Expedia rating shows it as a 5 star. ) Pool is a small plung pool. Good for cooling off only. Location is close to the public beach for sunset, decent dining options near by. Great looking gyms and health businesses on the board walk. Water taxi to the Tuesday market at the hospital parking lot was a good adventure. (at 30 pesos one way.). Overlooking the marina from our room was very nice and the area felt safe. You will need a taxi or your own car to get away from the area. It’s tucked away from anything. I don’t think I would come back to this area because it was mainly set up for condo residences. (It was a a bit boring for a few nights stay as we wrapped up our vacation.)
Very nice but water mechanical problems and some flooding. We had to change rooms in late night. They were great about inconveniences and had problems fixed quickly.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfect. We would stay here again!!
Me encantó la ubicación La limpieza La hermosa vista
Only stayed 1 night but very nice boutique hotel. Fairly small propery but super clean with easy check-in. Room is very large and unique; not like a standard condo/hotel room. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Great location, big room, huge bathroom and shower. Would be nice to have a second lock on the room. In-room safe was not working. Individual soaps, shampoos vs eco-friendly pumps.
Enjoyed unique charm and spacious room. The staff are friendly and provided excellent service
It was all good. Beach was wonderful. Excellent restaurant
Everything was great here especially the staff. I came to surprise my wife for her birthday. The ONLY thing that sucked was EXPEDIA… not the property owners. Messed up and showed the breakfast place open (package had breakfast included) and it was closed. The area is prime here and a short walk to the beach and oxxo etc. would stay here again.
It was a beautiful place and a very nice place to stay
Great family boutique hotel for a few nights stay.
Exceptional. This is a boutique hotel on the marina. The area is very clean and quiet. The hotel staff was very attentive to anything we needed. There is a restaurant on the property where we ate breakfast everyday. There are a few dining options withing walking distance but plenty of activities. Beach is a short walk away, chairs and towels are available at the front desk. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel, great relaxing atmosphere.
Maria was very helpful The hotel was nice and clean The area is nice There is a water taxi about a block away that takes you to a shopping mall Nice for getting groceries There are at least four restaurants within a block of the hotel including one on the first floor of the hotel There is a convenience store a block away The access to the beach is two blocks away The hotel will give you chairs and other things to use on the beach Definately go and see a sunset on the beach The only drawback to the hotel is its location relative to other parts of PV. Everything is either a bus ride, cab or Uber. Uber was the best and cheapest.
I ordered a hamburger and in return I got very hard Brick like bread lol
Hard to find, no signage. Rooms are showing their age and need a through cleaning. The staff are very nice. Unfortunately for us they had a water problem causing no water in the morning.
This was our third year of staying at Marina Banderas, and always a good experience.
This is a lovely boutique hotel with a fantastic location on the marina. Many restaurants are within a short walking distance, one of the finest on the main floor of the building itself. It's a short walk to an excellent, expansive beach and the whole area feels very safe and friendly. We love this general area as it is central to visiting other points of interest both to the north and south...PV, Bucerias, La Cruz, etc. We loved our stay at Marina Banderas Suites and were very well looked after by Eugenia, her family and staff.
Nice hotel
although this property is on the beach, you have to access it from the beach. I could not sleep all night because of the music that played until six in the morning. They lock you in at night, but I didn't feel safe. The rooms are very basic like a hostile. I left the next morning and shortened my stay.
Nice staff!
The staff was very helpful and friendly. The suite is huge with 2 separate rooms plus sofa bad. It made us all feel at home. 2 minutes walk to the Dolphin Adventure, my kids did the trainer for a day, super worth it.
Staff wonderful. Accommodating and helpful. Personal service. Fine restaurants very close. Nice views of marina from the rooms. Rooms very spacious and well decorated with excellent original art.
This was our second stay at the hotel. The best part of it was the price. The room was spacious and comfortable. We had trouble with a lack of hot water (it was fixed two days before we left) the button to the elevator on the third floor didn’t work( it was fixed the day before we left). The owner was very nice and apologized.
A really good hotel with some rough edges. Very friendly and attentive personnel and the suite we stayed in was great with floor to ceiling windows with great views of the marina. Very nice kitchen with good preparation areas. On the rough edge side...some things should be better attended to before occupation like malfunctioning microwave, shower head problems, unlockable balcony door (although we're 3 stories up). Very good value, would stay here again.
This property and the surrounding area is beautiful. It was so peaceful, quiet and comfortable. An easy walk to the beach. We had lunch at the restaurant and the food was excellent. Also, the staff were very friendly and attentive. We would absolutely book here again when we return to Puerto Vallarta.
The place was locked when i arrived, despite advertising 24/7 reception. I knocked and pounded for hañf an hour, and was never let in. They took my money, of course, but I slept on the street
The hotel: -Charming -Staff is warm and friendly The junior suite was plenty spacious and had everything I needed. The air conditioning, the heater, the fan, the hot water, the in-room safe, all worked perfectly. The only thing that was a headache to try to figure out was the television. They might consider printing out instructions and leaving them by the phone. I did have a slight issue the first night and needed to contact the team after hours and that was tricky. I would place a test call from your phone at arrival to make sure you can get through. Hotel restaurant items were yummy, especially the breakfast (chilaquiles!!) The pool was small and not suitable for swimming, but perfect after a long day of walking. Things to know: -Although the mini fridge is stocked items are not complimentary. –Depending on which room you are put in you might get a fair amount of noise. I was on the 2nd floor and you can hear the restaurant staff, the washing machine, the opening and closing of supply closets, etc. Also, my particular fridge would make a loud popping sound like the power was tripped and would sometimes wake me up. After a couple of days you sort of tune it out. The area- -quiet despite a lot of new construction -limited activities/sightseeing -bus stop nearby -comvenience store nearby -$$ contemporary Mex/American restaurants nearby -minutes away from a quiet beach
Beautiful place, nice clean spacious rooms. friendly staff and they are happy to go the extra mile. wonderful location with nice views of the marina
Quaint, and very clean motel, and restaurants in the area are great.
This was my second time staying and I LOVE this hotel. Everyone is so welcoming and kind, the rooms are clean and it's very close to the beach. I would definitely recommend and plan on coming back!
Rooms were great but TV did not work. Not a big deal they would have come and fixed it but we were tired and only stayed one night
Always a smiling face to greet us. Great location. Comfortable.
This property was small and quaint and not busy like the big resorts. The view of the marina from our balcony was spectacular. The coffee we got each morning downstairs was delicious and prepared with a smile. There were so many restaurants that we could walk to and the one onsite Maizul..was excellent. The staff were all helpful and friendly. Beach chairs were provided and the walk to the beach was only a few minutes. So many things to love about this hotel. I will definitely return.
Check in is efficient, friendly and thorough. After a long day of flying it was much appreciated!
Loved it!
Very nice.
We go to this area every year but have never stayed here. What a great find. Perfect location right at the marina. Great amenities also. If I could come up with a negative it might be the pool is more of a plunge pool. The restaurant and coffee shop were also good. We will be back.
I loved everything about my stay and will definitely be back!
I was looking for a hotel other than the large resorts but still by the water and close to the beach. Mariana Banderas Suites fit the bill. It reminded me more of a B&B. It was peaceful, the staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to help. And the restaurant at the hotel was exceptional. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for something less commercialized and noisy.
Superior suite is beautiful.beach is close , quiet and clean .will return .
We enjoyed our stay.

Pretty comfy
We were absolutely shocked at how clean beautiful Marina Banderas was. Absolutely loved this place.
Excellent service and very clean.
Recommended!
Helpful Friendly staff and comfortable stay. Quiet room. Loved the view from the main room and shower!
Thee room was spacious and customer service is great
Top notch service. Good wifi. Nice view of harbor. Quiet area.
Super friendly and helpful staff. Decent clean property with nice view of the harbor.
Excellent customer service and good vibes
A great value proposition in Nuevo Vallarta. I had a spacious studio and bathroom, suitable for solo travel or a couple with child. Equipped with microwave and refrigerator. Stocked with typical beverages at reasonable prices. They have a wonderful restaurant and adjacent cafe. Alida and the rest of the staff were very attentive. The family owned Boutique hotel is very close to other great dining and water taxi across the marina. They are a short walk from public beach area and sunset viewing.
Beautiful rooms in a great location, far exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice café, and excellent restaurant on site. Alida, The manager, was outstanding. Family run owned and operated. I will definitely return to this property.
Marina Banderas Suites - A Great Hotel
We booked two rooms for 2 couples for a one night stay. First time staying here. Check in was quick and easy and parking was not a problem. Our rooms were clean and ready when we arrived. Both rooms had a view of the marina. We ate dinner at Maizul which is at the hotel on the first floor and all four of us enjoyed our meals. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back to the Marina Banderas Suites again.
Great staff, good local restaurants, and short walk to beach.
Property was quaint. We rented the 2 bedroom unit. It was large and bright. Things to note if staying here: no tissue allowed in toilet due to old plumbing system.(garbage next to toilet had no lid so dirty tissue was for all to see and smell) Tiny pool that looks more like a large bath tub, beach a 5 min walk away where public bathrooms no longer operational. Site does have umbrellas and chairs you can sign out for the beach. Frendly staff. We were surprised at extreme rules of no guests. Our friends were at a nearby resort and we wanted to show them our room but were told we would be charged extra for them to come upstairs. Even though room appeared clean, we found a pair of dirty ladies underwear under our bed. Our stay was ok but next time wold probably stay at one of the other nearby resorts instead.
Hotel was really clean and nice peaceful setting . Very comfortable and check in staff very helpful
Just a few suggestions...and one cute cat!
New marina area....and pretty location! The suite was as pictured. The kitchen had a horrible sink sponge which we immediately replaced and no paper towels! Would suggest those two items be added to their list. Also, no coffee filters. No free coffee in the room. Charged for each bottle of water! The Front Desk staff were friendly and the attached restaurant (tho under separate management) was great! Good breakfast choices and a nice staff! The grounds cat was cute too!
Our only complaints are: 1) the pool is small, shallow, and not really suitable for swimming. During the two weeks we were there, we never saw anyone use the pool. Suggestion: a hot-tub would be a much better amenity, especially for older guests who can benefit from the effects of the heat and jets. 2) There are no major news channels on the TV, and very little English-speaking shows. We are both very interested in what's happening in the world, so we felt isolated because stations like CNN and MNBC were not available. 3) The chairs at the dining table in the room are so low, it is difficult to eat or use a computer without stacking several pillows to raise the sitting level. We loved the staff and there restaurant is very good. The view is fabulous. Thank you. Michael
Fantastic place. Huge 2BR unit and the view in picture is exactly what you see, lovely water and boats! Very clean. The restaurant on the first floor was one of the best ones we enjoyed in PV. The pool is just really a plunge and not of much value to us but that was the only negative I could say. It is a very short walk of less than 2 blocks along the path in front of a surf store and restaurants/shops to get to the lovely beach. We stayed here in Feb 2022 and I would stay again for sure.
Amazing value at this property. A number of great restaurants that are walkable. Check our "Organik" if youre looking for a cool vibe to work at with great wifi and even better food. Hotel room had an amazing view of the marina and was safe, clean, and pleasant. Matress is very firm but I prefer it that way. Will definitely be back again!
2nd time staying here; a very nice 6 days.
The total ambiance!
Very lovely small hotel right on the waterfront, friendly and helpful staff, just make sure you have the address for the taxi.
Nice place
This a great place, we felt safe and comfortable. There were a few things that could have made our stay more comfortable: the dishes were our responsibility to clean, yet there was no dish cloth or dish soap and we ended up using a face cloth to clean our dishes, for which we were charged extra when we checked out because it has a stain on it. We paid $50.00 Canadian for 1 dish in the restaraunt that was just edible and we didn't eat at the restaraunt again. Other than that,we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Cute little place on the Marina. Nice large suite and a great restaurant downstairs.
Great place
Great place. great stay. Beautiful area.
I love it it was big enough and really clean I like it
Very enjoyable little hotel right in the marina. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Staff was very friendly and helpful. My jr suite was plenty large and very nice. Dishes and mini fridge were nice touch for days you want to eat in. It is worth noting that location is Nuevo Vallarta, NOT Puerto Vallarta. PV is a ~$12 taxi ride away so if you plan on spending most of your time in PV this could be a hassle.
Everyone was friendly...location was great...service was great...! And a beautiful view of the marina from my balcony. Couldn't beat the price either. What a nice surprise !
Staff super friendly and helpful. Nice and quiet, good restaurants all around. Would like to see recycle bins for water bottles and cans.
The property is a small hotel, somewhat older, but not that old. I liked that it is right on the Marina, in the very quiet, pedestrian street, promenade type. It is literally 3 minute walk from the hotel to the amazing beach, very fine sand, quiet ocean, not crowded, with clean water. Few restaurants right there, some very good quality, like Eddie's place, El barracuda. If you want great beach and quiet -- this is the place. On Saturday there is a market, right by the hotel. Central place, but without a hussle.
Excellent place
The property has a great amount of charm, which is lost upon more recently built hotels. The decor is warm and inviting, using a tropical Mexican theme. The junior suite was spacious and never felt like a normal hotel room. The view of the marina never gets boring as there is always something going on in the harbor. The entire staff is friendly and willing to help out with any assistance you might need. We would definitely stay here again.
great location extremely clean & comfortable helpful, friendly staff a little difficult to find the first time
We loved this place! Seriously loved it. Been to the all inclusive resorts several times. We much prefer this place! Beach is super close. Corner store near by and getting a taxi is very easy. No shortage of taxis. The marina is beautiful too look at while having morning coffee. We will be back!
I very much enjoyed my stay here! Traveled alone and stayed for five days the hotel is in a nice area with restaurants and activities around it to make time go by!
Great View
Very nice location. Very accommodating staff. There was a Geico Type Lizard that paid a visit. But maybe kinda expected as this location is on the water. Overall good experience. I would return.
Great workers
.
Everything was nice and clean
Great location right near the marina for easy access to my fishing charter. Lots of restaurants and markets nearby.
the people were so helpful and kind
We had one of the suites for five nights. Beautiful view of the marina with restaurants close by. Didn't care for the portable a/c units so we just opened the windows and they were not needed. Also if you are looking for a "pool" experience you won't find it here. Small pool in shade that I never saw used. Would definitely stay again.
Very nice property overlooking the marina. Very friendly staff! Extremely helpful front desk staff!!! Room included fully stocked refrigerator, dishes and utensils, and a microwave. A/C worked very well! Many good restaurants within a short walk.
This property is a Gem. It is right on the water. The restaurant downstairs served us one of the best meals we have ever eaten and we have travelled quite a bit. Warm, friendly staff that went above and beyond to meet our wants and needs. Easy access to public transportation that could take you anywhere in P.V. Excellent price for nice accommodations.
Excellent location. Excellent price. And definitely try the “shrimp burger” from the restaurant located downstairs. All in all, you will be pleased.
Very chill place to stay, near to the beach, very good staff
Stay here!
Great stay! Super friendly and helpful staff. The onsite restaurant and Cafe were both excellent. Free beach gear, bikes for rent and in a very safe location.
Adorable place
Traveled with my mom. We stayed in Nuevo Vallarta/ Nayarit state/ in this boutique hotel for 3 nights. After 3 New Years nights in all inclusive hotel, this place was absolutely amazing for relaxing..Close to the golf club. Our room was clean with Mexican design furniture, kitchen and beautiful view on marina from our balcony 🙌 5 min walk to the beach. 5 min walk to the store OXXo...15 min from airport.. You can find different kinds of restaurants sea food , Italian, Mediterranean, Mexican..Also you can rent bicycle by the hotel.. The service in the hotel was professional, counter seniora Alida and her daughter Alida...Gracias!! I will highly recommended this place to my friends🤗
Great amenities. Staff very helpful. Quiet and clean. Spacious room.
Perfect place to stay while visiting Nuevo Vallarta!
It’s a small place but very private super clean and the staff make you feel like if you where home

The property is well situated right on the marina with plenty of dining options nearby.
