Apartment was comfortable

Highly recommended!

This property is located in a beautiful, quiet area outside of the Margaret River township, near the famous Margaret River beaches. It and other properties in the area blend in well with the surrounding landscape. The beaches are lovely. The property manager was very welcoming, friendly and professional. We were upgraded from a studio room to a large 2-bedroom apartment, complete with washing machine and dryer which we took advantage of. There is a tavern right next to the accommodation, which serves yummy food and drinks. Very handy. Highly recommended.

Rooms were spacious but bathrooms were outdated. Lots and lots of cobwebs & spiders all around the interior.

Very comfortable and relaxing stay

Amazing location, walking distance to beautiful beach . The Common Bistro made the stay easy and enjoyable. Staff were very friendly. Stains on the towels were off putting. It was disappointing that someone was always smoking near our balcony.

Good location near the beach. However hotel is quite old and outdated. Reception is friendly and food at the Common is great!

This property offered great value for money and I loved the fact that there was a small cooktop in the room if I wanted to cook. We headed down to The Common during happy hour and had a great meal and even better with half price kids meals.

Awesome place to stay! Staff are very friendly! We loved it and will be back :)

Not much impressed. Rooms were stinky and smelly, had to use own air fresheners several times. reported the issue to the reception staff.

The place was nice enough, clean and tidy. We were there for one night. Would have preferred a better lock on the front door, a button lock didn’t feel like the most secure. The bath was nice and the proximity to the beach lovey.

Margarets Beach Resort is the place to stay when visiting Margaret River. Great location. Great rooms. Overall a really good set up. We ate and drank at The Common both nights we stayed. Great food. Good bar. We were luck to watch a fantastic blue inspired band play at the bar (Howling Onshore) on the second night we stayed. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

We loved the location, easy access to the beach and good lookout points

A brilliant location for a family holiday. Spacious and close to the beach with some great little BBQ areas and a heated pool.

It’s very comfortable, from the beds to the lounge. Clean and tidy.

lovely restaurant/bar right next to a pool and playground, great for families, plus a second playground. rooms were spacious and clean, plus a decent kitchen, parking right out the front of the room, can hire a portacot for a small fee. only downside i could see was only one split system in the living area, and only fans in the bedrooms, which would struggle on a very hot day but it seemed to manage for our weather overall fantastic experience

The unit was excellent for 2 couples. Check in was easy and quick. The location near a wonderful beach was ideal

All aspect of service and experience were good with the exception of the bathroom which was worn out and mouldy, needing maintenance. Not in line with what you would expect with these property rates. Emailed photos to management.

Property was good, parking fabulous and location to beach excellent. Only a short drive to Margaret River. The only downfalls was the terrible internet service and the shower. Absolutely no water pressure and shower head was very awkwardly placed at the end of the bath. Not great for tall people, our son couldnt fit under it. Overall not bad.

shot weekend get away

The accommodation was exactly how it was presented by Hotels.com. We had a one bedroom with spar. no veranda but a double window/door with an ocean view. We were allocated a first floor apartment, so those who need ground level might need to check. Its a large complex with a tavern, pool, Yoga and a couple of shops. Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Lovely stay, beautiful room, had everything we required.

Amazing staff and food , perfect for a get away

This will definitely be our go to for stays in Margaret River! Such a lovely apartment and perfect location.

Love the location and the beautiful beach walks and activities. Staff are super friendly and the breakfast down at White Elephant is outstanding. Only our third stay here over 20 years, as unfortunately we live in Sydney. Property hadn’t changed much over that time, but Margs and the wineries and all the breweries have. We had another great holiday.

Great place

We had a beautiful 2 Bedroom apt with a sea view. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils etc we needed so we could have breakfasts and snacks (we didn't cook but could have if we wanted). The onsite bar and restaurant was great and it was located in walking distance to the beach. The views from the room were unbeatable. It is located a little out of the main town so you definitely need a car but onsite parking was easy. I would definitely recommend Margaret's for an extend stay especially if you are a family or need a bit more room.

Best stay in Margaret River, super friendly staff

Expected a better and modern property for the money spent on this. For a property located away from town, that is outdated and has no beach view from balcony we feel it was a very pricey stay. For same or less there are better properties around that are value for money. We were very disappointed with the view. Did not like the fact that bathrooms had seperate knobs for hot and cold water instead of mixer. Our kids kept getting frustrated trying to adjust them. Also every time a tap or shower was opened we could hear the water hammering on top/bottom floor. Having dryer/washing machine in open (instead of enclosed cupboard) meant too much noise in living room where one would be sitting. Not a lot of thought has gone into this holiday home. Its a property for stay but not for a relaxing fun time for our family. Will I be staying or recommending it - probably not. Wish we had seen more photos of the property - as in rooms/bathroom and the outdoor sitting areas that need some much needed TLC. Outdoor area at ground floor was not clean - we didn't even feel like stepping out. The ground floor rooms feel very outdated with no feel of a holiday home and no decor. The room at the far end on ground floor did not even have a wardrobe which was inconvenient for our parents. Overall a disappointing stay for us.

The apartment is very spacious and tidy. All the facilities provided are clean and functional. Very close to the beautiful beach and short drive to the town for shopping. Great staying experience.

Check in excellent. Cleanliness excellent all bedrooms and lounge room excellent air conditioners. Downstairs had 3 bedrooms to the one bathroom toilet; shower did not have a curtain/door, hence water over the bathroom floor. There were no brooms dustpan mop bucket to use.

Close to beach with great tavern and cafe close by.

Great Family stay!

Loved this site, only really had the pictures and reviews online to go with before the booking (we were on a holiday from the UK) and absolutely loved it. Cabin was great, location was ideal as we could walk to beach etc, and staff were a pleasure to deal with, thanks again!

Adequate

The best I can say is that this resort was clean, comfortable and quiet. As a 'resort' I'd call it adequate rather than idyllic, and certainly not in a luxury category. For UK travellers I'd liken it to a 'Butlin's-lite'. An annoyance, however, which overshadowed our entire stay, was their overly eager accounting policy which tried to charge my credit card with which that I made the reservation - at 7 in the morning before I arrived at 3pm that afternoon - but without the CVV code the charge was denied, the attempt was considered suspect by my bank and my card was then blocked from my use for several days while I tried to sort it out on multiple long distance calls. (Try arriving on holiday half way around the world with a suddenly blocked credit card!). Very inconvenient, time-consuming, unnecessary and unapologetic. Never had any hotel anywhere in the world try to pull that. Bet, hey-ho,their business practice is their decision just as it is my right to report the fact of the event here for the awareness of others, and declare that as being sharp practice.

Love the location and spaciousness of the apt. Beautiful beach-side cafe nearby with discounted brekkie offer.

Beds are the worst beds I have ever slept on, could hardly sleep they were so hard and pillows also. We had friends staying the the resort at the same time and there’s were the same. Definitely need to update the beds and pillows.

Great location, enjoyed our stay.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. It has great walks around. The restaurant at the resort is excellent for dinners, great food and vibe. Staff super friendly and so accommodating. The white elephant is a short walk away for breakfast. Loved our stay here.

I believe i found my spot to be in Marg, excellent ocean view and close to everything.

Unfortunately this was the dirtiest property I have stayed at. I do realise there are issues related to staff shortages but the room should not have been given out in that state, especially at full price.

Location is superb and within easy walking distance of beaches where one can swim. One of the beaches is child-friendly as it is a sheltered and clean cove. The Commons is reasonably priced and the food delicious. The staff there and at the resort itself are accommodating and helpful in orientating one around.

Great family getaway

Great property in a good location! Ammenities within the apartment are perfect with good sized rooms, bathroom and living area. We loved happy hour at ‘The common’ and the easy access to the beach!

The location so close to the beach, and the generous room sizes are great features. The onsite bar with a wide selection of local beers on tap, plus delicious meal options, made this accommodation a winner.

Lovely Family getaway

1st time visiting Margaret River region and I am so glad we picked this location!!! Walkable distance to the beach, not in the town centre (only 8mins drive away) so we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. Lovely accommodation - clean and bright, spacious and have everything we need!

Great place to stay with family. Location near beach, riding bikes, walks, pool, The Common happy hour, local playground, mountain bike trails, food and drinks; to name a few of the things to do.

Great weekend getaway

Margaret River Resort was just renovated. Everything is clean and neat. Bed and pillows are a bit soft (personal preference). Even over the weekends with families checking it the resort is not rowdy. Enjoef our stay

Parking wasn't marked, therefore other people would take your parking spot.

Great spot and value for money is perfect. The Common is the perfect place to dine and amazing beaches within walking distance. Everything you need and Margaret River is only a short drive. Love staying here!

Fantastic location Friendly facility and child friendly

Was beautifully designed- very spacious - having more than one bathroom was great with having kids

It was super clean and a big room. The shower bath situation was a bit weird cause the shower was quite low. Also our room backed into a child’s playground but it wasn’t that bad, beach views would have been amazing.

Our first time staying in Prevelly and loved it! Clean and comfortable apartment. Friendly and helpful staff and beautiful amenities. Great tavern and cafes close by and a short walk to the beach. We will be back.

Margs Beach Resort

Great Location, walking distance to beach and White Elephant cafe at Gnarabup. White Elephant have discount menu for guest of MBR. Room spacious and very clean with comfy queen bed all linen and toiletries. A washing machine and dryer and kitchenette with tea & coffee. Lovely restaurant called The "Common" on site with great food. Lee at reception and restaurant staff very welcoming and friendly. Did not use pool on this occasion but apparently heated May to September. Great value for money. Have stayed before & will stay again.

Accomodation was fresh and clean. Had a lovely family meal at The Common. Nice weekend getaway

A lovely stay at Margarets Beach Resort! We were welcomed by very friendly and efficient staff and we were very happy with the location and view from the apartment! The apartment was in good condition and the beds and seating were very comfortable. An extremely good value for money property in an amazing part of the world, we would not hesitate to visit Margarets Beach Resort again in the future!

Liked the pool and having washing machines in the unit. When the wifi got fixed it was good.

Short walk to a beautiful beach, great cafe and coastal walk. Close to wineries & Margaret River town and drive through the forest down to Hamelin Bay to see the sting rays. Staff were very friendly and food in the restaurant was excellent. Loved our stay and would definitely stay here again.

3 day mini break

Resort very handy for Gnarabup & Prevelly beache & White Elephant cafe a 5 minute walk. A good base for Margaret River town, wineries and local attractions. The Common restaurant on site has a casual welcoming atmosphere with a happy hour and good food. Resort staff freindly and helpful and room clean and comfortable.

Location is away from the crowd and near the beach line which gave us some quietness. If they could provide replacement clean towels, that would even be better. The Miele dryer doesn’t seem to work properly. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay for us.

For the time we were there we couldn’t get successful wifi. Had several Skype calls due from Canada, and were unable to receive them. We had our grand daughter from Canada staying with us,and her parents wanted to speak to her. I did call reception on the first night, but still no luck. Also mentioned it again in the morning. Suggest not advertising you have wifi, when perhaps you should say intermittent wifi. In our circumstances we would not have stayed if we were fore warned.

Room needed a thorough cleaning - crumbs on the carpet, dust throughout, mould in the bathroom, scuffs on the walls. Walls / ceiling also paper thin - lots of families and children about so not recommended if you want peace and quiet.

Property had ocean views. Was modern, very clean, had own spa, & located very close to stunning beach.

Room was very clean, fully furnished kitchen. Enjoyed my one night stay!

Lovely place to stay, only problem was the shower in the bath - too easy to slip.
