Very old and tired and rooms just seem dirty now. Level 4 corridor smelt of stale urine. I think cleaners try hard but place needs total refurb desperately. Tv was some old junk and all the furniture is chipped and damaged.

Great service in a good location

Overall it was a great experience, the rooms were spacious and have enough amenities to make our stay comfortable. Only comment I have is that I booked the rooms with 2 kids (1 yr and 6 yo) so it would have been considerate if we were given a room with a tub so its easier for the kids. Still giving it great ratings. The service was great and reception always very helpful and approachable.

The staff were friendly. Rooms were clean and tidy.

Check in was fast and easy and staff were amazing! Room was good for what it was - bed was comfy, they provided tea and coffee and it had a mini fridge. The airconditioning was hard to use. The shower was horrible - they need to change the shower heads! Other than that it was great for what i needed.

Aging hotel and 1 bedroom apartment looks onto a carpark. Pillows were uncomfortable and lumpy.

Excellent value for money with the discounted rate offered. The seperate kitchenette/lounge was great especially for longish stay. 4 nights.

Huge sized studio and a great location. The morning staff on the restaurant were lovely and greeted you with a smile & chat.

This apartment was beautifully appointed, very comfortable and very convenient to shops and public transport. The staff were also very accommodating. I enjoyed my stay here.

Parking is an absolute nightmare. Paid 25 Bucks a Night which is fine but to park your car in the Basement is a Joke. You have to be precise or You leave with a damaged car. Elavators was a joke aswell Waiting waiting waiting. I dont think I will stay here ever again. If I do i will park else where and take the stairs

Great location very comfortable- I unfortunately had an issue getting into my room but the staff went above and beyond to fix the issue. They were very apologetic and offered me a free drink at the bar while they were fixing the problem. The room had everything I needed and ALL staff were very friendly.

Very hard to beat if you stay in the CBD Adelaide.

So close to the reason we had come to Adelaide. Did book what i thought was a queen and double bed as said twin and was a little difficult but we got there.

Booked online using wotif.com Proceeded to book flights to Adelaide. 45 minutes after booking received a phone call from Mantra Hindmarsh stating that someone else booked the same room prior to me and unfortunately didn’t have any other rooms to offer us. Was stranded in Adelaide as could not find any other accommodation at a decent price.

Mantra Hindmarsh - Great location, fantastic room

I booked the Mantra due to it's location as it was close to numerous bars and restaurants. What I didn't bank on was how large, clean and well appointed my room would be. Also, if you have the breakfast, make sure you try the bacon. It was full of flavour and reminded me of how bacon used to taste.

The property was central for city. TV in main area had very bad Ariel connect totally pixelated so could not watch it. Room service dining not available Sunday night. Great breakfast.

Happy with the property, could have had more milk in the fridge and maybe another lounge chair apart from the lounge. But still very good overall.

Mantra is a reputable accomodation chain. I have particularly stated at this Hindmarsh facility, on four different occasions. It does feel like home to me, on every stay. Staff are wonderful and caring, listens to your requests and work towards it. Good breakfast also. Thanks chef 👍 One drawback here is the narrow entrance to the basement car park. It’s very stressful getting in and out of the car park, otherwise, I give 5 stars to Hindmarsh Mantra.

had multiple issues during our stay at this property. sewage smell in the bedroom, very bad soundproofing, we could hear the baby crying from next door throughout the night and loud music being played. Doors are heavy which slams when shut, yet does not block any sound from outside. We did talk to the team at the property, however, was told that due to the high occupancy, they do not have anything to offer us of the same room type, and the only option was one that's on the same floor (which is next to the crying baby). honestly did expect more from the Mantra brand and had brought the group who was travelling with us to this property, but now regretted this discussion.

The location is good. Breakfast was awesome. Kids enjoyed it a lot. Very safe surroundings.

Nice place in CBD. Right in front of Hindmarsh square and park. Good place to walk around. Car park gate is very, very narrow; you are most likely to scratch your car if you own an SUV . Staff are great 👍 Good breakfast also. Chef makes eggs to perfection 👌

Only complaint was a reported kitchen light not working.Promised repair not done. Reception was otherwise friendly and attentive. Convenient location.

If I tried hard enough I could probably find faults but they would be inconsequential. The room had everything one would expect and all in good order. The location in the CBD was perfect and all the staff encountered, including housekeeping were friendly & helpful.

There were lots of things happening in the city whilst we were there and the staff did a good job to keep everyone happy.

Clean cosy rooms

Sadly not what I thought it would be. Room is dark and view of car park makes it more dismal. No minibar or plates in room to put our food on when we ordered tea. Car park absolutely shocking could barely get out. No instructions given that you need to hold onto card and put in box when leaving a lovely man opened gate for us. Only 1 pillow provided and shower head corroded spraying out everywhere. Balcony on room would be nice. Best areas - breakfast was lovely (the food, drinks and breakfast staff just amazing) and comfy bed was a bonus.

Room and Reception staff great, friendly, clean. Breakfast staff member (1 only ?) snappy, flies amongst the fruit/yoghurt cups area, juice jugs empty & wall bench seating and seat backs filthy.

Accommodating staff, good facility,clean. The thing i dont like is the parking, coz you need to go out from the building and hard to find a spot to park.

Its was really good to have kitchenette specially when we are with kids and parents

Great location in central cbd and quiet

Bed was uncomfortable and we went out bought some pillows the hotels were so hard, otherwise couldn't complain about anything room serviced every day, location excellent and bar downstairs was good and friendly

The room was 100.00 more than I was expecting from the website, the TV didn't work properly in both rooms, the kitchen was supposed to be open till 8.00pm but at 7.40pm was closed. No information/brochures in the room. The fellow who checked me in and found me another room with working tv's was excellent.

It was really awful. It was my fault to book a room in this hotel; everything was disgusting. Additionally, the breakfast was horrible.

Great central CBD location (a bit on the east side which we prefer) and close to Rundle mall and great restaurants. Rooms are basic, no Nespresso machine which is unfortunate, and the walls don't really have much sound deadening. Bring some ear plugs just in case.

Great location. Apartment was lovely and clean. Rooms are not very sound proof there was noise from people in the corridor and can clearly hear people in the next room at times, especially at night.

Room comfort

The room was very comfortable and clean. The room did appear quite dark with the darker decor, but was very cosy and met our needs.

The only negative I have is that the windows needed cleaning

Nice relaxing short holidays in beautiful Adelaide. Location and everything in this hotel was excellent and the staff helpful and very polite. It would be my home away from home. Love it 😍, came back relaxed 😎 and happy.

Great location this, with good eating spots, shopping and great market all walkable distance. Staff here were terrific too, Nicole especially behind the bar downstairs. Wouldn’t find a more warm welcoming person than her making you feel welcome whether it be afternoon evening or at breakfast. Buffet breakfast was good too. Rooms quite tidy. Overall well priced and worth a stay if in town.

Excellent location, close to Rundle Mall, places to eat and grocery store. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this as a good place to stay in Adelaide.

Unfortunately some lifts werent working caused a few issues

The unit was spacious and clean, the staff was helpful and welcoming, it was easy to get around. Would have liked better ventilation in the bedrooms since they have no windows, and the kitchen appliances need updating as well. Firmer mattresses would be nice as an option.
