As part of a two-week tour, mostly of the Gaspe' , we ended at St. Anne des Monts and stayed one night at Manoir sur Mer. This hotel has been at this site for probably over a century, in different forms. It's an older building, well-maintained and appears to be family-run.The nicest part (because we were lucky to have good weather in early October, 2024) was it is literally on the beach, at ground level. The weather was warm enough for us to leave the window open at night to listen to the waves. The restaurant attached to the building served breakfast and dinner and was fine. There are two other restaurants for lunch within three miles

Handy to the Gaspesie national park. Enjoyed sitting or walking along the beach. Excellent restaurant attached with very good food and generous portions.

Friendly, courteous and accommodating service in a scenic setting. Kitchenette in room really well equipped. Dining room professionally serviced and tasty, well proportioned meals. Grounds well taken care of and thoroughly enjoyed. A great stay!

Super friendly and helpful front desk and restaurant staff.

Hotel located on shore of river/gulf. Slightly outdated, but room was big and clean, with direct access to beach from your room. You also can keep balcony/terrace door open during night and listen to sound of waves. Hotel restaraunt had good breakfest. Definitely visit again.

Manoir sur mer était incroyable! Nous avons accès directement à la plage de notre chambre, la vue est magnifique. Les lieux sont propres et le restaurant avec le coucher du soleil est exceptionnel! Je recommande fortement.

Facus on a restaurant rather then a motel

A surprisingly good place. From the outside you think you are at the door of a motel, but inside it is a pleasant and good quality hotel. The room is comfortable, the descent to the beach, the restaurant was a pleasant surprise in the quality of the dinner and the speed of the service. In short - a pleasant surprise!

We loved it. Clean and friendly staff and great restaurant attached. The only thing was that I had a very lukewarm shower the night we arrived.

We had a nice stay in this vintage hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. Especially appreciated the updated bathroom. Staff mostly spoke French but we appreciated Kevin’s assistance when we checked in and dined. The wait staff was hard working and the food was good. The views are wonderful!

We had a marvellous stay at this property. Owner was very accommodating for our needs. Every room has a patio door to the garden then the beach. We slept with the sound of the crashing waves all night, we love that. The room is very well equipped and very clean, beds were comfortable, restaurant is lovely and connected to the motel part. We enjoyed our meal. I have no negative comments for this place.

I tried to stay here 5 years ago on a bike trip but the views are so incredible it’s booked up 6 months in advance. Your patio door opens to the Gulf and the sound of crashing waves will sooth you to sleep. There is no air conditioning but the outside was cool enough to sleep with the door open. The dining there was excellent and the best meal of the whole trip. Our server was amazing and she was so patient with us and our lack of French speaking abilities. If there was one thing that needs improvement I’d say is that the room decor is dated and the beds are ridiculously soft. Would I stay here again? Absolutely!!!!!!

I liked the warm welcome at check-in and the excellent dinner and breakfast in their dining room. Overall the service was friendly and efficient.

Truly pleasant stay

Amazing location right on the beach, steps away from the shore. Incredible vistas! Super friendly staff, accommodating all our needs including after-hours room service. Not at last, a 5star restaurant with superb ocean view, delicious meals at fair prices.

The property is very well maintained, the room is clean and is coming with a view! We enjoyed so much out stay here. The restaurant and food was good, very nice and friendly people. This is a place where we will return if we can.

This is a wonderful Hotel, directly located on the beach. In all my travels, it is one of the cleanest hotel I have been in. Staff are awesome and will help you in any way they can. The restaurant looked great but was all booked up. Reserve early if you want a table overlooking the sea.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. Best of all, the motel is right next to the Saint Lawrence seaway. We could watch the sunset right from the patio outside our room!

Wonderful property in every way. It’s on the beach and we each have a picnic table with an umbrella. It had a full kitchenette nicely furnished. The restaurant had terrific food.We would go back again in a minute.

Great hotel right on the ocea

The rooms face the water and it takes only a couple of minutes to reach the beach which seems endless.Its lovely to stroll either way. Beautiful sky at sunrise and sunset. The kitchenette was handy when the weather was bad.

Best motel we ever stayed in. Great views from the dining room.New management team made many investments including a corridor outside the room so you don't hear any noise from the highway. Nice reception area and bar.🤗🤗

We had a patio door that opened out over the Gulf of St Lawrence. The sound of waves lulled us to sleep at night. The staff was very friendly. The restaurant in the hotel was quite good.

The Motel is situated at the beach. Excellent staff, very clean, enjoyed our stay and would return to this Motel on our next drive around Gaspésie. Great restaurant on site with great food. One of the prettiest drives in Canada.

There was a musty smell in the hallway leading to the rooms.

Staff were friendly and helpful Motel appeared to be recently renovated . A very nice décor and very clean .We also ate at the Motel Restaurant. Service was excellent (Yves)and food very good.

Beautiful location with great amenities. Rooms are clean and updated. On site restaurant. Wonderful view. Beds weren’t that great, but sleeping with the ocean air coming in made for a great night sleep.

The location was wonderful, overlooking the water. Very accessible. Quiet clean room and a good bed and pillows.

A pleasant surprise. Recently renovated facility right on the beach with access directly from the room, chairs and picnic table right there and a big view of the seaway. The restaurant, accessible from the room via an enclosed hallway, was very good with fine service and good food. Breakfast was excellent.

Very clean and very nicely decorated. The ocean and beach is just steps away at your back door. Wonderful restaurant with a view. One of the best places we’ve been fortunate to stay in.

Beautiful water views right outside the rooms, deck chairs and picnic tables for use as well. Staff was great and the restuarant had good food and service.

Extremely comfortable stay

Very comfortable and clean hôtel with wonderful views. Right in the beach where people had fires every evening while watching the most soectacular sunsets. Ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant and the staff was fantastic. Food was good and very convenient. If we lived closer we would go back again this summer! Very relaxing feel to the place.

Clean but...

Everything was very clean until we saw one black cockroach-like insect in the washroom and another one appeared on the pillow. Felt disgusted afterwards. However, everything else was okay, so I would still recommend the motel, just watch out for the bugs.

Waterfront room

On a road trip around the Gaspe peninsula. Great spacious room right on the water. Guy at reception was lovely, very friendly and welcoming, and gave us information about the route we were taking.

On the Beach ...

We travelled as 3 couples and a off us were very pleased with the rooms and theirs attention to detail. While these was no potable water, bottles were left in the room fridge and more was readily available at the front desk. Views would have been amazing were it not for the fog, but rooms were right on the beach! Would stay here again in a heartbeat if back this way again and recommend it to others

Great location. Loved being right on the beach. Great to be away from busy highway 20. Restaurant attached - very convenient. The food was fine but slightly pricey. Front desk staff was good - quickly dealt with a wi-fi problem.

Nice beachside hotel

Clean, comfy. Nice view. Spacious rooms. Quiet. Can't drink the water but they provide you with bottled water.

The access to the beach was the hit of our vacation! Staff is very nice and helpful. Prepare to pack enough drinking water for your stay; water is not drinkable there.

Gorgeous beach view and sounds

Spacious room with easy walkout to beautiful beach. Was good to fall asleep and wake up to sounds of the waves. Friendly staff, good food at the restaurant.

We were surprised about Manoir sur Mer. We had a very warm welcome by lovely staff. Renovated room was clean. The location was also awesome with each room having a patio door that opens to picnic tables and the beach.
