I like the friendly staff and WiFi and neat bathroom
The staff are friendly. Constant communication with me before arrival. They made me to enjoy this trip. I will definitely recommend it to others
Property needs upgrade. Bed very uncomfortable
Property is very tidy and well looked after. Staff are polite and very helpful. The place is guarded by security guards 24/7 and makes it a very safe place to stay. There is also easy transportation from there to the town center and further beyond. Breakfast was delicious and there was opportunity to order lunch and diner. A few of the lunches and diners were very spicy and some very salty though, but they can adjust to your taste once you let them know. I will always recommend this place to anyone.
Loved the property, the staff was great, but the area around the hotel is not safe for a lone trailer at night.
The people at this property were very kind and helpful. Please make a better google pin for the location. It is a big problem when uber and bolt drivers have to take you to a wrongly pinned location in the neighborhood.
Great place. Enjoyed my stay.
Staff very professional and pleasant.
Nice staff
It was serene and had a good night sleep after long hours of stressful journey. Reception was good. Easy to reserve a room online and in person. I would recommend it to everyone
Le séjour était merveilleux. Le seul hic c'est la proximité avec un bar/Pub qui fait que la musique qui dure une partie de la nuit (surtout le week-end) empêche carrément de dormir.
The staff were very professional, the kitchen food was excellent ask for a good price I will stay here again on my next trip
The staff are really the best feature of this hotel: booked it for my mother and all she said was how kind and accommodating they were. Thank you!
The place is very functional for a short stay. However, be warned it’s VERY NOISY!! I found it tough to sleep. The breakfast was good though and the room is very spacious. I also booked it very last minute and they had the room ready for me still.
Wonderful staff, very helpful and friendly. Fresh breakfast every morning.
Great place to stay.
Manjaro Suites is perfectly safe, the room perfectly clean, the furniture well maintained and comfortable, the staff professional and very helpful, the wifi consistent and fast, and the breakfasts fantastic! But remember, this is in urban Accra, not some place that creates a sanitized bubble around you, like a "Westerners Only" resort in the Caribbean or the Costa Brava. If you want a thick layer between you and the average Ghanaian, go elsewhere. You probably won't even see another Westerner for several days. The Manjaro is located in the middle of everything! On the busy Ring Road in the middle of Accra. It's a mere 10 minute walk from the bustling Keneshi Market, a 30 minute walk to Makola Market, and 40 minutes from Black Star Square. Obviously, it's only 10 or 15 minutes by taxi. The area around Manjaro Suites is bustling with several restaurants (serving both local food or pizza) and many, many shops with whatever you need. I walked a lot and was not hassled by street vendors more than the average Ghanaian, and I felt perfectly safe in the neighborhood and beyond. The room was spacious, with a frig and microwave, & the bed very comfortable. The air conditioning is controlled by a remote your room and worked perfectly. The desk was very responsive, from calling me an Uber to bringing me free bottled water or coffee. Breakfast was huge, always what I ordered, delicious, and delivered on time to your room!
Neat property. Good food.
Overall good visit with no issues. Hotel did an excellent job organising airport pick up- esp with delays at baggage. Account for travel back to the airport because they do not offer pick ups on return, but other than that all good. Thank you for your service.
The cleanliness of the hotel and its surrounding
It's a nice place, however, I feel it's a bit overpriced for the amenities and the location. Also, hot water was an issue here as the heating was central and you would need to wait a bit longer for the "warm" water to start flowing. Here's what I loved the most about this place: they have a microwave and a big refrigerator in the room. It's also great for business travel.
Amazing!
Wonderful!
Love Manjaro Suites!
Always lovely staying here! Still very difficult to book an airport pick-up (and I ended up paying for a taxi), but I love this place.
Decent property. Kinda hide out location. Easy reach to other locations in Accra. Very well surrounded by great bars and restaurants.
Unassuming
Excellent quiet hideout. Stress free hotel. Love it. Coming back soon
Property is very clean and staff was great. Not in the best area though. Street leading up to the property is in dire need of repair and there’s little street lighting, so walking at night is inadvisable.
Great stay and good price
Very friendly and responsive staff. Awesome breakfast. Clean room. No complaints...just that it’s beside a very busy road.
All the staff was very friendly and knowledge and also helped me after having a very late nearly midnight flight the day of checkout they were able to keep my luggage locked in the office until time for me to head to the airport. If you want your money worth stay here anither plus is that their numerous shops/ restaurants within a 1 mile radius. Eddys's pizza has a wonderful mango smoothie😉
Exceeded my expectations
Amazing hotel with friendly and helpful staff, delicious food, squeaky clean rooms and near all of the sights! Couldn’t have asked for a better room!
Excellent hotel
My Wife and I enjoyed our stay very much, from the staff to the hotel condition everything was excellent. We enjoyed the breakfast, the chef Devine was very professional and courteous. The receptionist Denis was very professional and respect full, the cleaners were always on point. Even the gate man was very polite. Thank you all for your service, see you next time!!
Nice hotel and close to many places tourist visit.
I had a great stay, room was comfortable, clean and my belongings were safe. The staff were great and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Nice place, Nice facilities and proactive staff.
I have enjoyed a lovely staff at Manjaro suites Hotel. This is my second visit since February 2018 and I will definitely go for it should I have a chance to visit Accra, Ghana again.
Great place.
My stay was excellent. Thanks to two properly functioning air conditioners, I was able to sleep. That would have otherwise been impossible due to the heat and humidity.
Manjaro Suites has potential
It was fine.
Manjora Accra
Good customer service. Airport pick up and drop off very useful.
AMAZING (A++) customer service!!
I would HIGHLY recommend Manjaro Suites! Their customer service was over the top. I called last minute to get an airport message and then hung up because I thought it was too late. I got a text from Linda asking how they could help. She arranged a shuttle pickup and Isaac was there to greet us. THEN we had a cancelled flight the next day, and Isaac went out of his way to help us find a car and driver to get us to where we needed to go. The rooms were nice, and clean. All the staff was helpful. Divine came and took our breakfast order and right on time the next morning I had a lovely hot breakfast brought to my room! I have traveled a good deal for work- and Manjaro Suites offered some of the best customer I have ever received. Thank you! Allison
Incredible stay in Accra
Incredible staff, very courteous and attentive. Linda was a real pleasure and attended to every request I had with grace. The rooms were very nicely appointed and the food was excellent. The one challenge I had was the internet was a bit slow, but it's pretty common to find this traveling in the region.
Suite type of rooms with separate sitting area.
Late check in and late check out available cheerfully from front desk staff. Breakfast is room service only, ordered the night before. A bit of confusion, 2 pitchers of juice but 1 glass, 1 tea cup but 2 orders of toast. I had written on the top of menu sheet that were were 2 people in the room. But the room had a tea set and an extra glass, so we managed. Otherwise, the room is clean, bathroom fixtures in good condition, clean, and hot water seems to be central. No water heater in the bathroom, and hot water plentiful from the excellent shower head. Unusual for Ghana, but very nice. Room lighting good, bedside lamps functional, TV and AC worked as did the small fridge. This is the 3rd time I have stayed here, on the way to or from airport, and I will stay here again. The rooms are pleasant, the sheets crisp and clean, towels clean, and there is soap, shower gel and shampoo in the bathroom. In case your luggage is lost and you live 4 hours from Accra. and need to go shopping before heading for home.
nice hotel
My wife and I stayed here for 19 days. The hotel staffs were nice and professional. The young men who checked us in and the one who delivered our breakfast were very respectful and knowledgeable. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and family members.
Big airy rooms with new bathroom fixtures
A pleasant surprise. This is the second time I have stayed here, and I will stay again. Both stays had me and my travelling companion in bright, well lit, airy rooms, with sitting room with TV, one time , and a small kitchen with dining table the second time. The AC works, the fridge works, the lamps at bedside work, ceiling fan works, bathroom clean, bathmat provided. Plenty of hot water for the shower. Bed linens clean and crisp. Floors clean. The rooms are pretty, too, with nice furnishings, pretty curtains. The hallways have interesting paintings hanging on the walls, the floors in the hallways have pretty tile accents. The place has been thoughtfully decorated. My only small issue is that in many instances, because of the layout of the buildings that make up the hotel, there are up and down stairways in the middle of a hall, only 3-4 steps, but not well lit, beautiful but slippery floor tiles, and no hand rails. With a newly installed knee replacement, this was a bit daunting. And the previous time I stayed, on my way out of Ghana to get my knee surgery, it was painful to go up and down these steps. Last week, we arrived after the kitchen had closed, but my companion was able to order a nice chicken and vegetables dish with rice, and the staff took pity and brought it in a few minutes. And it was hot and delicious. Breakfast is great, ordered the night before and brought to the room as late as 11 AM, which is great for jet-lagged travellers.
Not close to the beach, no hot water and transportation driver was fifty Cedi per hour to show is around which most of the time is spent stuck In traffic.
Clean and safe hotel with very helpful staff
It was my first time in Ghana and the conference started the morning after I arrived - so I did not have any time to figure out things for myself. All the staff were extremely helpful getting me set up and ready for the conference - obtaining a sim card for my mobile and changing money. The hotel is conveniently located on the central route of the city about a 15 minute Uber from Accra International Conference Center, but the most important thing which makes the experience very convenient is the helpful staff. Any time there is a problem you can get help. Most important for me is the bed - a good nights sleep is important. The bed is very comfortable and very nice and clean sheets and coverings. The rooms aren't perfect (e.g the lighting in mine was a bit dim), and like any city there are fancy 5 star hotels in Accra, but unless you're looking to stay inside your hotel room all day, paying triple the price of Manjaro to stay at a super fancy hotel isn't worth the money. I definitely recommend this hotel and when I return to Accra I will stay at Manjaro.
Nice find close to all
I had a great time. The food was nice and presented well but there should a little more variety to include some salads and local dishes. The staff was pleasant, polite and courteous. A special shout to Devine the hardest woking guy at Manjaro. Overall the service and hospitality was A++. I would definitely stay here again.
Nice hotel close to town
It's a nice place that is conducive to rest. The staff is efficient. Since the opening of their own kitchen it has ssignificanly reduced the length of time you wait on food. The dishes are tasty but there could be a little more variety to include some of the local dishes.
Best Kept Secret
Just perfect! I was only going to stay for three nights, I extended my stay for four more. That staff was very helpful.
Love MANJARO!
Ms Linda is the best. Everyone is helpful and friendly. The place was really nice...really nice. Wish there was a pool but overall I was satisfied.
New, clean, large rooms, quiet location
This new hotel is in an out of the way location, but a staff member came out to the road to meet us at a landmark building near the place, and guided us there. Already my appreciation of the quality of service was rising. The rooms are suites; ours had a large sitting room w flat screen TV, a small desk w functioning lamp, and a mini fridge. The bed area was separate from the lounge area, which was nice if one person wanted to watch TV and the other sleep or read in bed. The lamps at bedside worked. The linens were clean and crisp, the fluffy duvet was lovely, and the mattress was supportive yet soft. The bathroom was clean, w new fixtures, a bath mat for the floor, and we got a second bath towel with no fuss. A hotel bar of soap, bath gel, and shampoo were provided. But the nicest thing is that breakfast is delivered to the room each morning, based on a menu you fill out the day before. The breakfast choices were quite varied, eggs in several ways, fresh fruits, juices, cold cereals, toast, coffee and tea. A nice surprise was kitchen does dinners, delivered to the room, with several different menu items. We had the sauted chicken with vegetables; it was delicious, the vegetables were prepared al dente and the coconut rice was wonderful, the portions quite filling, at a good value. The cook brought the food to the room, and took away the dishes quickly when we called. As I love breakfast in bed when I travel, I will make Manjaro Suites my Accra hotel from now on.
We loved it
We were a group traveling together. We loved having a living room for gathering together.
Staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was less expensive than any other room of equivalent quality that I have been to. Also there's lots of variety with the included breakfast and for dinner the staff offered to pick up food from a local place that served local food and western food. The staff would pick up the food and deliver it to your room at no extra charge which is convenient after a long day as traffic in Accra can be tedious to navigate.
Staff here are fantastic
