This was the last hotel of my Thailand trip and I have to say I did not like nor appreciate the terrible service. The front desk employees were rude and not very friendly or helpful. The room does not have a safe to secure belongings . I did not let this ruin my trip. No I would not recommend this hotel
Despite reading mixed reviews, we founf the Maneetel excellent! Staff very helpful. Our rooms were kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay with fresh new water bottles every day too. Air Con and TV were no problem. The only thing....Our Jacuzzi didn't work, but that was no big deal...we used it as a bath sometimes! Would go again!
I was impressed
Very comfortable bed, on the beach and very good breakfast. I was impressed.
Property was well located for my needs. The room has very limited storage, and the gym, cannot be called a gym. A treadmill and a dysfunctional universal system.
This hotel was little disappointing. I loved the direct entry from our room to the pool, but the room was poorly designed. There was no room to put anything anywhere so we had to keep stuff in our suitcases and on the floor. Bathroom was even worse, no space for toiletries. We had to ask for toilet paper every day as the teeny tiny rolls last only half a day and they did not put any extra. They use tall glasses with very heavy bottom which they turn upside down. Slight move of the tray and the glass toppled over, and broke for which they charge you. It's a very expensive glass. Make sure you turn the glass with the heavy bottom the right side up. This is the quiet side of Ao Nang beach which I liked. Our stay was OK, but I don't think I would stay again due to the lack of furniture/storage space in the room.
This place in located in the heart of AoNang . Walking distance from restaurants tour guide and night market . Hotel was clean and staff was friendly
Property was okay but our bathroom needed a proper clean and modernising.
Great location close to everything.
Very good rooms & service. Just let down by no place to store clothes & a breakfast menu which was virtually the same every day.
We had ocean view with pool swim out and it was worth it! TV didn't work. Shower flooded the bathroom every time. Very loud when the AC is off, definitely not sound proof rooms. Location is ideal for everything. Every tour company was willing to pick us up. The free breakfast was incredible & the view was amazing. Food, inexpensive massages, and shopping was all close. Amazing beach sunsets.
Lots of spider webs in the room and room service was not very thurough in cleaning. Drain was plugged for sink and took awhile for the hotel to understand what I was explaining. Water heater broke during stay and was also very dusty and dirty. Only good things to say about the place was the pool had a nice slide and the free breakfast tasted good with daily changes.
Close to the night market and close to the long tail boats perfect would recommend this place if your island hopping
Ok but don't spect too much
Good but the hotel facilities need improvement. Shower of the bathroom looked like a hostel shower and at nights was making a noice that bother us. Their breakfast was kind of basic and poor, pretty bad coffee and the juices were from box, for a 120 $ a night I was specting a little bit more.
Would come back!!!
Staff were excellent. Great location. Amenities great. Had electric shock problems with jacuzzi in B401…..VERY DANGEROUS. The front desk staff were great and gave us another room A403. The jacuzzi broke there as well. Safety guard in intake came off and strong suction. Also dangerous But would stay there again because of the other positives
Pleasant Hotel
Nice hotel, on the ocean. We were pleasantly surprised, based on cost we were not expecting it to be this nice. We had 3 rooms with ocean view. Walking distance to most everything. Would stay here again.
Highly recommend for those who are searching for beach front hotel in Ao Nang area. We stayed in pool access rooms for two nights, when we needed something just went directly to reception. The hotel is located very close to the night market which makes life so easy to grab some delicious dinners and food price is also cheap. Hotel front receptionists are all helpful and friendly. FYI, the room we stayed has a hair dryer, no need to bring your own. We are both happy with our holiday in Krabi and this hotel.
nice sea view.. great surrounding.
quiet location, great staff, and clean rooms.
Nice Hotel, Brilliant location. Room where nicely decorated, but pretty small. Nowhere to store you luggage as in drawers cupboards. Breakfast was plentiful, but unfortunately cold, i never seen the ban-marie on to keep food hot. Hotel staff very polite.
Nice Stay
Very nice, will stay again!
Good
Stay was a total of 2 nights and we went for a walk after breakfast
Excellent staffs, good location, clean and reasonable money.
Good location. The room felt a little small but I got used to it and there was an intentional see through part in the glass to the bathroom which isn't great if you value privacy.
Location, location & pol
What a great location and easy place to catch any trip to go anywhere. + the pool area was absolutely #1
Didn’t like the noises from bar next door , also the busy street in front of property that separated the beach
The staff were very friendly and helpful! The room was great, the cleaning staff were very friendly. The ocean sunset view from the room was amazing! Very happy with my stay at this hotel!
Ok but would not come back !
The worst check in experience of my holiday.. Extreme let rude and not helpful. Nice hotel modern building small rooms and bathroom but ok. Air con unit is on the roof of the balcony and it drips water as you sit their. I tried to buy some water at midnight was told no I have to walk to the shop about 20 mins away. Really nice hotel however they just need to work on customer service.. I’m not one for leaving bad reviews but the whole experience was not great.
Very clean and nice! Well worth every penny! Customer service was great too!
Hotel overall very good . Enjoyed the stay .
The Hotel is very modern nice staff good breakfast & pool . Good location on the beach & a bit of a walk to the main shopping but that was ok we could of taken transport but preferred to walk . Close to restaurants. We stayed in a nice room over looking the beach only thing at night the traffic was noisy as the sliding glass doors could have been double glazed. Heaps better then Railay Beach
Good Value
Easy checkin checkout. Nice pool, Handy to plenty of good eateries. Nice ocean view. By the road so a little noisy occasionally. Pleasant helpful staff. Going back for another three nights at moths end. Good value.
The safety box was broken when we arraigned. And then we called the servicemen and repaired it. But it didn’t work again. Water in the shower room collected without flowing. But otherwise we could relax in there. Thank you very much.
Way to expensive for the area and the rooms tiny with zero space for clothes or even bags. The beach sucks which is also across the road so technically it’s not beach front resort style. Staff was great and trustworthy.
Comparing with Ao Nang Beach is definitely much quieter n lesser place to shop n dine around the hotel. But good to have the beach just in front of the hotel n walking distance to the race site(was there for runcation). Staff was friendly to assist in my last minute request to go visit Wat Tham Suea before going Airport for my flight.
Lovely place to stay ;)
Nice hotel for couple vacation in Krabi
Good location near the beach. Nice sea view room with jacuzzi on balcony. Surrounded by restaurants and shops. Breakfast is ok. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
nice hotel ,very helpful and pleasant staff good location,we stayed for twelve nights and had a pleasant stay.
Loved everything about this place. I only have one wish, and that is better control of the air conditioner.
Not beachy but great value and good breakfast!
Very friendly staff and good value! Can’t complain for the price, but wouldn’t really consider this on the beach. The pictures are a little deceiving. There is a busy road that goes in front of the hotel and then there is the beach after that, but it’s not a beach you would really want to lay out on - mainly a place for boats etc. overall great service though and surprisingly delicious and expansive breakfast!
Clean hotel and room, good services, friendly staff, delicious breakfast and nice pools, calm pool in the background! The hotel location is good, but the traffic is noisy. We recommend it for Family and friends.
Nice rooms but that's it...
The hotel room was nice and so was the pool - I'd recommend paying extra for a sea view or swim up pool. However one afternoon we came back to our closed suitcases to find an empty pillowcase inside one of them - assumingly one of the maids fancied a snoop in our belongings, potentially stealing something that we're not yet aware of and dropping her pillowcase that she was meant to be changing. So if you do stay here lock all your belongings away! Also the toilets leave an awful smell lingering in the bathroom and beware of ants everywhere including the breakfast area near the food! Nice rooms but that's about it.
Our stay was lovely until we came to leave, then we were charged for a glass which we hadn't taken or seen ? We did try to explain we hadn't taken it but couldn't prove this so were charged anyway .This was a Shame after we had been praising the hotel and staff .
Sea view room extremely small, no place to keep luggage. Main road separates hotel from beach. Pool is large and clean but no railings to grasp climbing in and out. Our room had a plumbing issue that was fixed right away. Only one English language TV station (RT, Russia). Staff very pleasant.
Love the view, nespresso coffee machine, bathtub by the balcony and the spacious room! It is so unique because there's no cupboard but instead they have open concept kind of clothes storage. I love it cos its cool!
I’ll come again
Great place Great staff Great breakfast Quiet location
Fantastic hotel in a great location, perfect stay
From when we arrived to the morning we left the service was excellent, we had the pool access room which again was faultless, would highly recommend, as far as location goes it's about a 15-20 min walk from the main ao-nang beach/nightlife but the beach and surrounding bars/restaurants are just as good, also a longtail boat station over the road which was only 100 Baht each to Railay! Would definitely book again if I ever returned to Krabi
Newer property very well designed. Staff was very friendly as well. Would love to stay there again.
Designed like an upscale prison cell. Concrete beds. Grey unpainted walls. No one in their right mind would pay the supposed full rate. There are much better places for the same money.
Would stay again!
We were only there for one night. It was clean & comfortable. The pool was great! The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good too! The only downside was the street noise. Dont get a beach view room if you want to sleep at night.
Beautiful new hotel, staff friendly, lovely start to 2019 great fireworks in area New Year’s Eve.
Just an ok hotel. Nothing special. Best part? Breakfast.
1st Timer in Krabi
Really enjoyed our stay at the Maneetel Hotel in Krabi. We stayed in the deluxe beach view suite with private jacuzzi on the balcony which overlooked the hotel pool and Aon Nang beach. The breakfast which was included in our stay was great with a good selection of western staples to tradition Thai and Indian dishes and ample assortment of fresh fruit and salad choices. The hotel location is very convenient to access shops , restaurants and late night entertainment. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Maneetel Hotel. Our only regret is that we could not stay longer.
*floor level pool access room* The property is great, the only thing it lacks is a restaurant but whether you walk right or left from the hotel there are sooo many options for food and shopping. The pool was my favourite yet, sunsets were beautiful and it was comfortable to watch from my pool access porch. The beds were also my favourite, of about 6 hotels in thailand so far. We were sick for a day and the beds allowed us to easily sleep through the day as well as fall back asleep if the other got up. However, the room we had was ridiculously small and had no storage. Could barely wall around the bed. The rooms across the hall from us were huge so i don't know why they made these so small. Breakfast was included and was good.
This is actually the worst hotel ever! I would never recommend anyone to stay here. This is NOT a 4 star resort. I’ve stayed at 3 stars in Thailand that were much better than this hotel. Checking in was quick and easy. However there was nobody there to help me with my bags. The view is nice! Buts that’s the only nice thing about this hotel! The walls are very thin and can hear everything in the room next to you. EVERYTHING! Like conversations, then using the bathroom, even sex... I chose this hotel as it was away from the main area but still close to a beach. I needed a place to just sleep off my sickness. Horrible place to sleep and relax. Front desk was useless and wanted me to pay a lot just to change rooms. Had to use earplugs and that is the first time since I’ve been traveling SEA for the past 2 months. This was easily the worst stay of my trip. If you want your vacation ruined than stay here! Cleaning staff were very nice and friendly.
Hotel ok
Nice and modern hotel. Room are small if you have big luggage. Swimming pool is very nice
Maneetel Krabi Beachfront Review
It was amazing and very comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful.
Excecellent
Very international standard hotel. Good Wi-Fi and friendly staff. Best bed.
Great hotel. Opposite to beach and eating place
First international standard hotel I stayed in
Great stay at Maneetel
We had a great stay at Maneetel for a couple of nights. We stayed during the low season so managed to book it for a really good price but even at full price I think we would’ve been pleased with it. Staff were really friendly and attentive, rooms were clean and comfortable (one of the best beds we’ve had so far during our month long trip) and we loved the pool and the beach. The pool may be on the smaller side (at least if you expect the type of pool you might find in a big resort) but never felt crowded. The beach was great for swimming, we loved it. Some reviews have mentioned it’s barely a beach... the tide affects how much of the beach is out of the water at any given time and during high tide there isn’t much beach left at all but that didn’t bother us. If anything you get to the water quicker and don’t have to awkwardly hop over hot sand! The loungers next to the pool we’re great for sunbathing and lounging so didn’t miss a bigger stretch of sand at all. Overall really happy with the hotel and staff. Would stay again. Maybe not suitable for long stays or for someone who has a lot of luggage as there isn’t much space for a lot of stuff. There is a small clothes rail but not a wardrobe so it’s a case of living out of the suitcase. We packed light so didn’t mind it so much.
A great choice
All in all a good option. Opposite the beach and great food options a 2 minute walk away. Beds are easily the most comfortable i have slept in. Breakfast was ok - nothing too amazing and a very strange mixture of options. All staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Would definitely stay again.
100% will return
Amazing in every sense of the word. Truly 5 start magic.
Chic and beach
We "splurged" and booked Maneetel...and it was fantastic. The king size bed was great and the bathroom was really nice. Overall very clean and comfortable. The pool was really nice too, with very comftt lounge chairs. I liked that the beach was just across the street and it was in a quieter part of the strip. Our booking came with breakfast, which was served on the second floor overlooking the beach. Food was good. The hotel has an industrial chic look to it...kinda neat.
Fantastic
Fantastic Hotel in a great location. Lovely clean rooms. Aircon, bathroom, shower, breakfast, staff, all excellent. Motorbike rental from reception good price and no hassle. Go and explore! About 1km in one direction you have the busier part of town with the bars and shops. 1km in the other direction you have the national park with its picture postcard beaches. Plenty of bars and restaurants within crawling distance too. Ideal. Would definately stay again.
Good location
Great beachfront location, great pool with some rooms with direct pool access. Breakfast ok, missing some real bread. Rooms very small with no cabinets to put clothes in.
Great place, people, and food
Maneetel Krabi Beachfront is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are clean, roomy and comfortable. Staff are very helpful. It is right opposite the beach which can be accessed anytime to relax, exercise or swim. There are many food and drink outlets at walking distance and you have a choice of eating cheap street food to more expensive restaurant dining. All food available tastes great.
“Lost items”
Rude unkind workers, we had issues with the safe 4 times bcz the guy didn’t show us properly how to use it but would open it and act like we were dumb. No offerings of food at all. No ice “call 7-11” no help booking transfers to other places, which all 4 other hotels I’m at offered. The room was small and they didn’t even give us enough Tp! Besides all this location was good, however my 200 burkenstocks went missing. I only wear them on the plane..... and we don’t drink so it’s not like I could have “misplaced them.” Checkout a mess they go check your room before letting you leave? Good location, but literally not impressed
On the positive side - great pool, great location (quiet yet easy to get to the action) , very comfortable bed and very nice bathroom. Breakfast buffet was pretty good and the setting was lovely. On the negative side - no place to put your stuff. There should be a shelf on both sides of the TV. The lighting is too dark for reading and getting to the bathroom in the middle of the night is difficult. Nice touch having fruit in your room when you first arrive.
Rooms are located by the sea.The rooms are clean, inexpensive and convenient.
The rooms are clean, inexpensive and convenient.By the sea.
whiIe the hotel is pretty new, the staff is a bit slow - anything is an extra charge, more soap? 50bhat - I've checked out but you are giving me a lift to the hotel - if you wanna use the pool 50bhat - Hotels in the B section overlook a field with rubbish - management said 'tough' - not good
Hotel is very new and clean. It's directly across the street from the beach and very accessible to bars and restaurants. The staff is somewhat challenging as they do not speak much English, but I managed. Would stay again...
Overall a good stay at a good location
Pros: Extremely good location just opposite to the beach. A lot of restaurants, mini marts, ATMs, tour agencies are located within walking distance. The hotel reception helps you book tours and the I found their offer better than regular tour agencies. The rooms are well maintained. We had a sea-facing balcony that we liked. Cons: I have travelled across the globe. This is the first hotel where I had to pay extra for an early check in even though the room was ready. Even worse, once we agreed to pay the amount with one person at the reception another person came and tried to increase the amount. The shower has instant heating. So be careful. The initial splash can be too hot. Nutral: The breakfast lacked variety. But, overall it was filling.
Great attitude of the staff. Very cooperative. High quality furniture and fixtures. Room was clean but very less storage space. No cupboard. Hotel lobby was pretty warm during the day.
Good concept, but not idea for us
Hotel was ok but there were a few flaws - sea view is only sensible option as backyard is messy, street is noisy too and windows don’t provide enough soundproofing. Corridor is very noisy too and when the concrete floor is wet an accident waiting to happen. Cleaning staff is loud in the morning and entered our room without announcing
Mixed feelings, but all in all a good hotel.
Good hotel, clean and new. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the hotel felt modern. Good, diverse breakfast. Excellent quality wifi (as in-fast and no annoying crashes etc). The mixed feelings parts and what other ppl complained in their reviews: - hotel looks as if made from bare, polished concrete. That was in my opinion a huge blunder from the architect/designer. It does NOT look good. It looks okay-ish. - no wardrobe space in rooms - that's the biggest fail. You have very limited space to pack your things out. It's an inconvenience. Not a major one, but still is. - nice views/bad views. Poolside rooms have nice views on the pool and the hotelfront + sea. Non-poolside rooms have you looking at a patch of land with construction going on. We did not mind, but if you want to chill on balcony and not be disturbed by a lonely guy haling sacks of ... something - get a poolside/front facing room. - no restaurant on premises, save for breakfast - food is literally everywhere around the hotel and 10 minutes of walking, you get to Ao Nang beach. Not an issue. - very close to pier with boats to take you to islands, pretty beaches etc - if you don't like walking, they will happily rent you a moped. Get one. - good value for money - yes.

Tub on the balcony doesn’t work and when I spoke to the staff they said “none of them work. “ Only cold water comes out of the faucet which took almost 2 hours to fill the tub halfway. Once it was full, the jets don’t turn on o Safe is detached from the wall and the towel hanger in the bathroom is about ready to fall off too. The “king bed is just 2 doubles pushed up next to each other. We had ants in our room
