Great location and comfortable room with all the amenities. Restaurant provided a good choice at breakfast and evening meals. Enjoyed my stay - quiet and relaxing.
Simply great
Simply wonderful
Exceeded expectations! A great weekend stay!
Great hotel with a unique vibe. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout. The room was faultless with a particularly pleasant bathroom. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of buffet/continental options and individually cooked dishes made to order. The location was great as it’s a stones throw from Barbican tube station and Farringdon station with access through the transport network.
Excellent stay - thank you.
Nice hotel, comfortable and situated in a convenient location but quiet and slightly off the beaten track
Great hotel
Great place to stay
Lovely hotel, cozy and clean. Staff very helpful and friendly
Lovely hotel, great customer service, in the heart of the City. Thanks to Jason at the bar for helping us celebrate our anniversary.
Wonderful breakfasts!
Lovely hotel and a great stay as usual. The highlight is the wonderful breakfasts.
It was close and convenient for the event i was attending.
A very nice newly refurbished hotel, good location and only 2 mins walk from underground station (Barbican) A nice bar and restaurant.
Very very good housekeeping service. Very attentive. Made a real difference to our stay. Way beyond what one would expect. Florina (my spelling may be off) is a gem.
Perfect for the Barbican!
Needed two rooms for an event adt the Barbican and location perfect!
One night stay. Nice quiet area of London.
Very good property, staff were super friendly and accompanying. Rooms were very clean and really enjoyable place to grab a drink on the way out.
High Standard MalMaison
Good hotel with excellent access to get on the tube for most of London. Quiet at the weekend which was nice. Shower was poor but other than that I would highly recommend this hotel.
Just an amazing stay!
My husband was in St Barthomolews for heart surgery and the care from the staff at Malmaison was beyond amazing. The Reception and the bar manager were so supportive and will never forget this. We will definitely return yo stay, when we come back to London for his check ups. Thank you
Peaceful haven
Great location, quiet pedestrian road outside with little park green area for a walk and sit to admire the views of the old monastery. You could easily forget it's central London.
Fantastic hotel and location
Fantastic hotel and location Fantastic Hotel. We stayed for 2 night’s to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday and couldn’t fault a thing. The staff were incredible, polite , helpful and very informative. They decorated my daughter’s room with balloons , card and even a cake which she loved, and these little touches make all the difference.Rooms were as per the images on the website , clean , comfortable with everything you needed.Breakfast was really tasty and plenty of choice.Location was perfect for all the attractions and the centre of London.A 5 minute walk to Farringdon station and only a 2 minute walk to Barbican station. We drove down from the Midlands and even managed to park the car right outside the hotel , but these spaces are limited so would advise you call when an hour or so away.Would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely by back the next time we pay a visit to London 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
A very comfortable stay. The staff were all very welcoming. The room facilities were excellent and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! It is a very quiet location at the weekend but we liked this as London can be noisy and crowded in places. We would definitely stay here again.
Victor on reception was really friendly
Really great staff at the grill restaurant which made our new years night wonderful
The hotel was perfect-lovely staff, quiet room and superb breakast
Very relaxed stay on Christmas day. The best time to stay in the city as so quiet. Lovely large room and huge bed. Veryfriendly staff and excellent breakfast options. Couldnt fault it. Hotel set in charming historic square
Quiet, out of the usual downtown noise
Victor and the team made our stay absolutely magical. Hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas, with spacious rooms, wonderful breakfasts, friendly staff (shout out to Jason and his impromptu cocktail class) and just a few steps from the tube. Can’t wait to return!
Great place, lovely breakfast
Nice convenient location. The breakfast was below average though. Don't order the eggs california
My trip was cancelled due to a last minute issue, hotel refused to help in anyway, not a refund. Not cancelling the following days, nothing.
An amazing stay....
Ny first time staying this hitel and i wasn't disappointed. The staff, the service, the room was all perfect. From the checking in pricess to my exit. I was greeted warmly and stylish decor furred perfectly with the boutique style vibe. Thanks to Victor for maiing the process super easy and fun
Overall, this hotel was great. Updated, big room, plentiful hot water, but no fridge, no mirror in the bedroom to sit in front of and do hair/make-up, and I couldn’t plug the hairdryer in the bathroom. The enormous headboard made it impossible to reach the light switches and side tables, so not convenient. But it was quiet, and we never heard other guests (bonus!), and just five mins to Farringdon station, which is a fantastic location. Felt safe walking in the area at night. Right across from famous Smithfield’s market.
Great location
Lovely room, with nice staff. The bed mattress was getting a bit worn as folk sit on the edge of the bed, so as you were lying down, you slip to the edge! Water pressure not great in the rain shower and sink was slow draining. Hotel is in a brilliant area with lots of tubes and trains nearby and in a quiet square, so we had a peaceful sleep.
Extra nice
We enjoyed our stay at the Malmaison Charterhouse Square very much. Staff was uniformly helpful and cheerful, our room on the 6th floor was quiet and comfortable (especially the not-too-soft, not-too-hard bed), and all the facilities were spotless and well appointed. We had a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant as well. Lots of little extras, like tea- and coffee-making facilities, biscuits, and lovely toiletries, plus quirky decor details made the stay especially nice.
great location
Great hotel in an excellent location. Super convenient for London public transport and set in a very quiet square. The room was surprisingly big in comparison to other London hotels, and the bathroom was spacious too. Our room didn't seem to have a mini fridge and there was panels falling off the desk where I assumed they closed it shut, but we didn't really need it. A/C seemed to be controlled centrally, and though I didn't have any issues, I heard other guests complaining about the heat, so something to keep in mind. Would definitely stay here again if I need a hotel in the area!
Typical service from the Malmasion hotel chain; poor customer service when checking out. I stayed at this hotel for five nights and during my stay the service was satisfactory. When I checked-out I asked for a VAT receipt but it was too much trouble for the receptionist. The rooms are good but rather small. Avoid breakfast, I tried a full English (veggie) and the sausages are disgusting and the spinach was over cooked - every day! Eggs benedict - no flavour and very stodgy. Salmon and eggs - gave me an upset stomach. Every time I had Salmon from the restaurant I was ill. If you order a full-cooked (non-veggie) breakfast you do not get real sausages; they only offer veggie sausages and they are extremely bland and stodgy. The hotel is over-priced and considering breakfast is £27 - it's simply over-priced and flavourless. I won't be returning!
Would love to stay here more often if the prices were sensible
No hot water in shower
We had 2 rooms booked and within both the showers did not work properly and provide hot water. There are no mini fridges in the room so there was no where to keep our babys food or milk. The rooms are not to the quality stated online and yet were very expensive.
The staff greeted me on entering the property and were very efficient and helpful. Room was well equipped, clean and comfortable. Lovely place to stay in the area.
The gentleman who checked us in was amazing .. gave us a guide where to go for drinks and entertainment ( sorry can not remember his name)
Great well managed hotel
Weekend stay in Farringdon
Hotel was great - fantastic location for our needs. Lots of local pubs and restaurants. Less than 5 minute walk to Farringdon station. Very quiet area. Bed was really comfortable and pillows were great. Option to exchange room cleaning for a free drink was a really nice eco friendly touch. All in all a fantastic stay.
Staff were brilliant. Room was slightly frayed around the edges with a bad drainage smell from the shower. Breakfast pre order to the room was missed but quickly rectified.
an excellent helpful staff
Fabulous hotel, rooms were clean and comfortable, friendly and helpful staff and location was great. Would definitely stay again.
Amazing hotel, we will be back
Good but rather expensive
Great location Nice room, though not that big Good breakfast Price very high, could not afford more than one night here!
Looking forward to our next stay!
Cannot rate this hotel highly enough, room was very spacious with a nice view over the gardens and the bed was so comfy - both me and my partner said we haven’t slept that well in years! Breakfast very good also.
Lovely hotel in a gorgeous square in the old city of London Great location fir a Barts reunion would stay again
Great hotel and in a lovely quiet part yet not far from good transportation. Great reception and bar staff. The rooms were super quiet and in comparison to other London properties, bigger than I expected from photos. All amenities we needed were provided
Great stay and location. Staff were really friendly and nothing too much trouble
Great hotel in the centre of London
Do stay here !
Great venue near the Elizabeth line so connected to everything. Smithfield’s area has so much history it’s great to explore
Priced accurately for what you get. Clean, good location.
Room excellent, breakfast poor
Great hotel. Very high quality rooms and service
I recently stayed at Malmaison London Hotel in Farringdon and had a delightful experience. The hotel’s prime location, just a short walk from Farringdon’s Elizabeth line station, offers easy access to central London. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. Breakfast had a good variety, though vegan options were limited. Non-alcoholic cocktails were surprisingly well-crafted. I stayed in an accessible room, which was thoughtfully designed with a spacious shower and safety features. Overall, the hotel combines convenience, comfort, and excellent service, making it a great choice for a stylish London stay.
Great location for easy access all around and very accommodating staff
A very pleasant hotel ideally situated for the. Barbican and extremely comfortable.
Absolutely beautiful hotel, situated in a quiet area of London in the business centre. We took advantage of the room upgrade, which was beautiful. Easy walking to reach most of the key attractions close to the river. Would definitely stay here again, very impressed. Easy access if you are using the tube, nice traditional English pub adjacent as well.
The property had a lovely reception area and staff were really nice. The room was a little tired, there were a couple of marks on the sheets, the carpet stained and some of the furniture. The panel for the plugs came away from the wall a little when you unplugged your items which didn't seem terribly safe. Had to move rooms from the first room as not all rooms have a window..... for how much it was I would have thought a window would have been as standard even a tiny one! I have stayed in several other Malmaison's and they were significantly nicer so this doesn't reflect the brand fully.
Lovely leafy square and on Elizabeth Line.
Excellent response to something that needed attention in bathroom. Chap came up immediately and fixed it. Plus great location and v close to Elizabeth Line.
The room was nice but the bathroom was small and the shower drain was clogged and did not drain well.
Short one night stay. Accessible and comfy
The hotel location is good, but the hotel is missing essential facilities like the fridge in the room. The TV Chromecast was not working and was down for almost 24 hours. The AC was not good as well. I will not come again and I don’t recommend any one to visit them else they fix all issues
Excellent quiet, park-like location.
Very easy going , amazing and pleasant
The staff were brilliant, especially front-desk and for breakfast
Quiet location Lovely hotel and staff very helpful
Affordable luxury and great service
Very comfortable upscale place. Generous sized room with wonderfully comfy bed and exceptionally friendly service. Excellent breakfast. For such a convenient central location, pretty good value for money. Would definitely stay again.
Average Stay
Room was okay, on the small side but it was in London. Walking around the room barefoot I had to peel used contact lenses from my feet, I don’t wear them. The shower in the room was a lottery from temperature to being able to turn on / off.
We loved staying at Malmaison. The staff is so gracious and welcoming. Jason was such a great host at the bar and gave excellent recommendations. Thank you all for a wonderful time!
Service was great. But, for the price, the bed was uncomfortable and design was a little lame.
Great location for transport in a quieter area
Booked a standard room, did not rsalise had no view from window. Would recommend getting bigger room. Staff friendly, particular Jason from the bar, he makes a good Long Island Iced tea. Great location for transport.
A heritage building with great views of London.
Highly recommended
Friendly staff and a beautiful room with lots of space! Room was right by the lift so only minor disruption from the noise of other guests at times. Cleaned to a high standard and a comfortable nights sleep!
Work on the check in experience
Lovely room and great location. Check in wasn’t great. QR code’s registration was annoying and the receptionist was miserable as hell
Lovely stay, everyone friendly and helpful, lovely boutique style hotel. Perfect location for London
Perfect location for financial district. Greenery and Charterhouse square lovely. Great service! Close amenities and cafes
Nice hotel… Only one person on check in which made it slow
Ok stay
Rooms clean and tidy, front of house staff in need of training and some help. Reception when we arrived was over run and they didnt really know what was happening. Restaurant and bar was good. Wouldnt stay again, would look elsewhere as didnt have the personal touch
Poor for money
Room hadn’t been cleaned properly TV didn’t work Staff were arrogant and unhelpful
Clean modern and great location.
Check in was impersonal and felt like a chore for the staff Cocktails were good in the bar in the evening Breakfast service was nothing special but food was good
Very quiet
The hotel was fantastic, great location, clean and well-priced.
A hidden gem in Charterhouse Square
Great location close to a park
Very nice central stay
Very nice comfortable stay. Only issue was that the shower was not particularly hot.
Convenient for what we planned to do
Great location, clean and organized room
Great room and perfect location. Temperature was kind of hot and wish i had had an outside facing window but oh well! Can’t beat the location
Great hotel, friendly staff, great location and a brilliant breakfast!
Les Miz trip
Great location! Lovely staff and great service evening meal was excellent as was the breakfast highly recommended
Excellent
Comfortbale
1 x night in London for business. Nice location, good shower and very comfortable Expensive - but not as expensive as a lot around London.
10/10
Brilliant stay, first impression as i walked in and was greeted by Victor was amazing as he was super friendly and went the extra mile to tell me about local places to check out.
An excellent stay , as it was a surprise for my wife's birthday and we could not fault it. A lovely room. Very clean. Great location.. Great staff and lovely breakfast. The hotel is surrounded by history.
Great location and breakfast choice. Rooms are a decent size but felt they have crammed to much in so little room around the bed
Was lovely stay.
Great place to stay
Great hotel at a good price for London. Was disappointed that the fridges had been removed from the room, but apart from that the room size was great. The bathroom was massive but the taps twist the wrong way which was a bit disconcerting!

Cool property, large comfortable room. Proximity to Elizabeth Line was great
