The room I had was really small, damp smell and curtains wasn’t closing at all. Big toilet and bidet but not so clean either. Staff are good. Breakfast was really good. Need improvement.

Good hotel for stay

The hotel location was amazing, right across from the Haram but the speaker system in the hotel didn’t work so we requested it to be fixed or a room replacement but all fell on deaf ears, the staff promised but didn’t deliver and when I asked again they said we would have to pay extra for it, why advertise it when they don’t have it. Same with the prayer room with a view, there is NO VIEW of the Haram!!! Very old and outdated hair dryer in the bathroom, we requested a new one but they didn’t have any. WiFi was poor, had to use my cellular data! No weighing machines or service to check luggage weight. The bathroom was nice, shower was great but the toilet was too low and the seat shifted suddenly, which was scary. This place definitely needs updating, especially for the price they charge.

Toilet was clogged not fixed after call. Hot water in shower was not working barely warm called but no engineer came to fix! Should refund price of stay told checkout representative Fahad!! Security made my limousine outside for 20 minutes after giving the tag number I had to com and ask him to release our car so my wife can enter at front of hotel and luggage’s can be loaded, terrible after bel boy mentioned and reception mentioned!!!

I booked a single night and was ever so thankful as this hotel is really in need of some solid walls to provide privacy between rooms Didn't sleep a wink all night Neighboring guests were either screaming at each other or their children until 04h30 Breakfast was hopelessly unappealing. Waiters are ready to serve you but never oblige to any requests. I've stayed at this hotel when it part of the Hilton Chain as well as Millenium. Hardly expected it to deteriorate so poorly. Definitely won't be back

Great staff. Room was clean. We chose to have breakfast and dinner at hotel and the food was amazing! Lots of south asian options for food. Hotel located very close to the Kaaba, really close to gate 79 and 84. Lots of shopping area around, theres a mall in the hotel, 3rd fl and 1st floor. (One staff arranged a car for us to go to the train station- but his driver charged us 3x the price- that was very disappointing) aside from this experience, all staff members were super nice and friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Amazing staff who went above and beyond.

Amazing staff hospitality, they gave us a free upgraded room as well as early check in and the staff from both reception and the restaurant were so helpful with everything from tips on where to go and eat to making our Umrah as smooth as possible. Would 100% stay here again.

The only bad was food. Food options were really bad and breakfast buffet most of things were stale.

I was there to perform Umra with my family. The location of this hotel is ideal for going to Haram. Mr Fahad at the front counter was very courteous and friendly. He checked us in within minutes and offered us better room to stay.

Very quick walk to the masjid, with more convenient elevators than Clock Tower

Everything was fine. However one thing, they need to consider- liquid hand soap which is essential for client instead of soap bar.

Probably one of the best hotel to stay, service is always excellent and since it’s in the haram hence it’s extremely convenient.

Wonderful hotel very close to the Haram

Hotel was a great, very close to haram, clean, room was great, liked to the Musala, buffet a little bit expensive, I enjoyed my three nights stay

Excellent location. V close to Haram which is what we cared about the most. Plenty of shopping options downstairs. Food in buffet was okay not as expected in 5 star hotel, but that was not a priority for us.

Very close to Haraam, staff was excellent and Sara/Zara young female waiter who had the best customer service at the coffee shop in the lobby area. All good apart internet connection was really bad that sometimes no connection at all.

Choose Makkah Hotel not Makkah Tower

There is a big difference between Makkah Hotel and Makkah Tower. Almost made 2 separate reservations accidentally, but luckily my 2 rooms were at the hotel and not tower. Very easy access to the haram. The elevators are pretty quick compared to the swissotel. I would stay here again.
