My all-time best all-inclusive experience. several options for pools, entertainment, food, etc. It is definitely worth the bucks!

Really family friendly.

Really family friendly. Kids loved it. Waterpark and choice of pools was great. 10yr old absolutely loved kids club and the team there. Evening shows were really great. All restaurants are buffet style, no al a carte ones if you prefer that style. There is an olympic sized pool which meant there where lots of swim clubs there for half term swim camp which meant there was lots of groups of older kids around. They were no bother and well behaved but not something had experienced in other hotels. Would recommend the hotel.

Our Honest review is an absolutely Lovely hotel(s) we ended up in Lytoss Mare also... They share great facilities in the tennis, Olympic size pools , splash park and slides, play areas all which the kids loved (aged 4,4 &8) The Food was of excellent quality even if a little chaotic in self service at the lytoss beach hotel . Rooms facing amphitheater(Mare) I would not recommend, very noisy/loud until 11pm horrible balcony area and view of kids club at bottom. Generally the rooms have a better set up in lytoss beach than in Mare for family of 5 , bunk beds for kids are a little open at the top in Mare hotel , plus see through bathroom glass which illuminates the room at all hours. My only critique would be two dogs that regularly roamed into the kids area of the splash park on the hunt for food , not pests but still a concern for parents with young children . Overall a great hotel(s) Hard working and friendly staff plus great kids entertainment .

Decent resort with a fun waterpark.

The stay was largely decent. Most staff were lovely and appreciative. The hotel rooms have a slightly dated vibe. Food could have lesser but more qualitative options. The waterpark is good fun though and the suites with pools are an excellent idea and option. Kids playground is quite nice and the crazy golf adds to the experience. The all inclusive bar scene is a bit lacklustre especially if you want to find simple bottled water even.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family, and it was perfect for us, especially for the kids. The rooms were big, clean, and comfortable. The best part was the many pools and the awesome water park that kept the kids busy all day. The food was great too, with lots of options and no lines, even though the hotel was full. However, there are a couple of things that could be better. The kids' play area is in the sun, so it's too hot to use during the day. It would be great if there was an air-conditioned area for kids who need a break from the pool. Also, the daily room cleaning wasn't the best. Used glasses weren't replaced, and the room didn't feel thoroughly cleaned. Despite these issues, we had a fantastic time and would love to come back.

Excellent family friendly all inclusive resort!

Balcony with a pool was just amazing

We had the perfect family holiday at Lyttos Beach Hotel - the resort is fantastic with lots to do, the food was great and there is loads of it, Thassalo and Kaylpso restaurants were the nicest but the waterpark fast food is also really handy. The drinks are good, whilst the wine is pretty rough just add some ice and soda it's OK, but the all-inclusive cocktails and beach bar more than make up for it!! The room was great for 5, with good AC and comfy beds and was perfectly cleaned each day. The spa was brilliant and pretty reasonable, and the gym is top-notch for a hotel. The playground is also mega and our kids loved it. The main thing that made our trip was the staff - our girls were begging us to go to Mini Club each day and the evening entertainment was the best I've personally seen in a hotel, the pirate and circus nights really stood out. Special thanks to Louise, Becca, Karabo, Aureja, Daniel, Ginger & Chris who made our holiday so special!! They made our girls smile from ear to ear.... They greeted them each day with such kindness and big smiles and made them feel like celebrities. THANK YOU.

A great place for a family holiday.

We stayed here for a family vacation in July. The resort is really large, featuring several pools, a beach, a water park, and multiple activities throughout the day. The resort is spacious enough that it never felt crowded, and we easily found sun beds anywhere in the hotel. We mostly spent our time at the water park, which includes nine slides for grown-ups, a lazy river, and multiple slides for kids. We also enjoyed the playground with mini golf, which stays open until late at night. The food was very good, made with high-quality ingredients, and there were several restaurants to choose from. We especially liked the Asian buffet and the BBQ restaurant, which were smaller than the main dining hall. There was even a barista serving quality coffee, though the cocktails were a bit dull and weak. The employees were kind and helpful, and the premises were kept clean and tidy at all times. Additionally, this is a good base for short excursions, such as visiting the dinosaur park or the aquarium, which are just a 10-minute drive away. The nighttime entertainment was also good, with several options, including acrobatic and music shows. To summarize, this is a great place to spend a family holiday.

First and last time and Lyttos Beach

We were at Lyttos Beach from July 1-8, 2024 celebrating our daughter’s college graduation. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful. Our room was a family suite with two connecting rooms. When we arrived, there were ants EVERYWHERE! Housekeeping came up right away and sprayed. I swear the ants would not go away. Housekeeping came back a second time and sprayed AGAIN. This time I asked for the spray. We were so disappointed, so I called the front desk to see if we could change rooms. Of course, they didn’t have a family room available, but we could call the next day and check again. After a few days, we saw less and less ants. The resort is huge and could easily get lost. The restaurant choices are few. Although the buffet had a lot to offer, the food had no taste at all. NOTE: Bring a bottle of hot sauce and seasoning salt, you’ll thank me later😜. The Asian restaurant was the best, but make reservations for an early time because the food is fresh and hot. If you have a late dinner, the food wasn’t as fresh nor hot. The restaurant by the waterfront was a stir fry type place, we went there for lunch and it was very good. Overall, if you like that type of food, you would enjoy those two restaurants better than the buffet. There were 10 of us on this trip and we rated it an 8 out of 10.

The property ground was very nice. The pools and the beach area excellent. The rooms were outdated and old. Need major upgrades and not in any shape to to be a first class. The dining options not very broad. Just buffet and an Asian restaurant. Not a lot of option for all inclusive. The water park was excellent, the best option for kids.

Loved everything about this hotel.. except our way too short stay. Room was spacious with plenty of room for my kids and I. There was something for everyone. We loved the beach, water park, dining options, entertainment and competition (we participated in dart and trivia). Food was plentiful with fresh, tasty and healthy options. Great entertainment.

When going there for spring break all of the pool water was extremely cold. Difficult to relax and have fun in the water with the kids due to the water temperatures

The property is large and great for families in the warmer months. We stayed 3 nights in mid March and only 1 restaurant was open and the water park was closed. There were very limited activities available. It was clean and a nice place to stay but I would not recommend in the off season months. We would have selected a different location if they disclosed the limited activities on their site, which they did NOT

Lots of nice pools including a full olympic sized lap pool and many other various pools. Lots of water slides, pools, and playgrounds for kids. Great food in the main dining hall, and several nice restaurants (all are buffet style but the food was very good). Well kept, smoothly run, friendly staff.

Amazing All-around Experience and Stay

We went as a family with 2 kids; 2.5 year old and a 2 month old. This hotel met all our needs and more. I fully recommend this hotel for many reasons. I'll go over what we liked and what we didn't, giving some specific details related to other reviews I've read. Pros: -Wonderful hospitality, staff was helpful and extremely kind -Property is very clean. Other reviews have mentioned there is some minor wear/age on the interiors, but this is very nit-picky -Mask policy primarily applies at breakfast/lunch/dinner. It's refreshing to not have to wear them all the time -Most rooms appeared to be booked but crowd management was good with lots of open places everywhere -Beds were comfortable with extra blankets provided in the closet -Lots of storage; floor storage for suit cases and 2 large closets for clothes, etc -Food is overall very good both quality and flavor. Tons of variety. Main restaurant has more variety that if you stayed all week, you wouldn't be able to try everything -We ate at Asian restaurant one night, it was also good but nothing extraordinary. View was spectacular, probably one of the main draws to the restaurant -All pools are great, water is not heated so can feely chilly at first, but with upper 20s, low 30s outside, it's perfect! -Water Park area is amazing for kids and even adults -Beach is fantastic, so close to the property Cons: -Main issue was smoking allowed on balconies. Room often smelled of cigarette smoke, not ideal with small kids and babies

The service was excellent, The cleanliness was impeccable, the food was excellent, the place was big and had all the amenities for an excellent holiday. Truly a 5 star hotel & experience. We felt like royalty. Fantastic and highly recommended.

All inclusive and lots of activities for children. Extremely outworn facilities and room. Bathroom with mold. Carpet of the corridor like a 2 star hotel. Staff is amazing at the reception, restaurant and always keeping it all clean and organised at the restaurant. Food not great for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was good. It was packed with people and children which was not great as we don’t have small children and concerning the amount of people during a pandemic.

The staff was rude, they messed up my honeymoon i asked them to decorate my room for my honeymoon and when I walked in nothing was done i got so angry, I was in room 851, my wife was really sad it ruined our experience i will not recommend this hotel to anyone especially because i paid so much and I was not happy💔

Best vacation this year

Amazong! We were upgraded to sea view rooms . It is huge resort with 4 swimming pools if not more one is olympic , we took all inclusive deal, food all day long, main breakfast was amazing and varied same with lunch ans dinner 3 resturants, soft and hot drinks beer win free all day , gym is updated and big, evening entertinments every day , clean, friendly stuff, Rini from the win bar is amazing. Best value for the money. Oh and they have tennis academy with a lot of tennis playgroynds

Live it up at Lyttos beach

Fun, sun and relaxation, Lyttos beach has it all. Mostly German and Dutch guests. 5 pools, wonderful waterpark, gym, tennis and kid's club there's so much to keep you busy. Alternatively can relax at pools or beach. Accommodation comfortable, grounds well maintained, food varied and good. Would have no hesitation to return.

The resort is amazing! Everything you could need and more. It’s very family friendly. The only bad thing is that the wifi did not work in our room the entire stay which was frustrating.

There are a lot of Germans at this hotel, and entertainment can be a little bit more, well its lacking to be honest, but it could be the time of season, visited in Easter.

Hotels should be built in the winter.

All of the rooms have been, or are in the middle of, being refurbished. We stayed in one of the newly decorated family doubles. The room was lovely, but the new build did not include sound proofing and so we could hear the exact song being played in the room above, as well a exactly what business they had in the bathroom. The engineers are very efficient and came out to fix our air conditioning once and our toilet twice. The food is extremely delicious, but make sure you allow yourself time to eat it as they are very efficient at moving diners out of the restaurant at 9pm sharp. There are three beautiful looking, completely unheated, pools and one of them has slides which are great fun - these close if it is at all windy. The spa there is very professional, it costs an arm and a leg, but if you have the cash, it is well worth it. The entertainment crew are delightful and have excellent people skills; they even managed to console my children when we discover that the basket ball court had been transformed into a temporary carpark. The manager had his work cut out and used his wit and charm to make amends wherever possible, but he has an uphill task this season. We hope to return next year, when the hotel has been built.

Absolutely amazing week in this beautiful hotel.

The room was spotless, stylish and extremely comfortable for a family of 5. Beautiful patio and the children loved hopping over the little wall and exploring the lovely gardens. The swimming pools were amazing- olympic sized pool for pre-breakfast lengths and fabulous slides and children's pirate ship pool which kept the kids happy for hours. (Wetsuits for the end of October were a great addition to the packing.) The food was absolutely delicious, it was a real treat. We hired a car and went on some fantastic trips (Knossoss, Lassithi plateau and Ag. Nich and Spinolonga)- stunning olive groves, mountains and beaches. An amazing holiday, I would highly recommend and Lyttos beach hotel, their facilities and hilarious animation team (the evening shows were wonderful) really made it.

Everything was great, for price we paid- we expected worse, but everything was nice, friendly staff, delicious greek food, many choices, we really did like lunch buffet by beach, and ohh delish lamb chops, oh ho ho,,, pool , warm sea, ,, except not any kind of show or live music at night,

Hard to leave, will likely to come back next year!

This was our second stay at Lyttos Beach and we are likely to return next year too. You cannot beat the value you get for your money, the beach, the pools, the slides, the food, the entertainment are all fantastic, you can really sit back and relax during your vacation. The animation team is very nice though seemed a bit less organized than last year, and really our only complaint is that they did not have Dimitra's great swimming lessons for kids this year. Other than that, excellent! We even got in our room much earlier than the check-in time, which was really convenient since we were traveling with a small child. Thank you all.

Great hotel for family fun and entertainment

Stayed June 2016. Great hotel with lots to do on site. Good food with plenty of choice, pool great for the kids with beach a stones throw away. Room was immaculate and spacious. The entertainment team were excellent. Tip - visit sister hotel at Star Beach for more slides and daytime fun.

Great All Inclusive Hotel!

Great hotel and staff. All inclusive food drinks and services. Twenty minutes from the Airport alsong the same road. Great pools, restaurants and on the beach, late night bars and supermarket on site. Good sized modern rooms with comfy beds and nice bathrooms. This hotel is good for all and is very family friendly. Housekeeping could be slightly better ie not rushed. Would most definitely recommend this hotel.

Total relaxation

Simple but stylish hotel. The all inclusive food was excellent and the house wine was particularly good. All the staff were helpful and the animation team were suitably animated without being in any way naff. We did low key yoga and step classes outside with no show-offs! The water slide in the advert makes the place look a bit cheap but, in reality, it is great fun and adds sparkle to the pool. The basket ball and volley ball court provided hours of fun for the children and we all used the spa which provided high-quality treatments. The rooms we stayed in did not have air-con, which might prove a problem in warmer months.

We have very enjoyed our vacation in Lyttos Beach hotel! A beautiful place (20 min drive from Irkalion airport), excellent service, very good and various food. So nice pool and slides for the kids. The service from all guys was excellent and they were very kind. The animation team were so funny and had so good entertainment. The rooms which we got (a family double bed rooms apartment) was spacious, clean and nice (so nice design with Greek blue on the walls :)). If I need to give some note so there was sometimes a bad smell coming from the toilet (something that with a small effort can be resolved). The food was excellent. That is a all inclusive hotel, so that in addition to the 3 meals there were also pizza, pancakes and waffles near the pool. with open bar and free drink. There was variety of food in the meals which can meet the taste of most or all people (we were not able to eat meat, but we had many other options as pasta, cheese salads etc.. and that's before mentioning the delicious desserts. The location is ideal good - ~ 20 min from the airport, 5 min to Hersonisos ~ 40 min to Agios Nicolas 5-10 min from Cretaquarium attraction water parks etc.. Bottom line - so nice place with nice people ideal for families - don't miss to go there

Excellent kids club! Wonderful kids club staff!

What made our trip here was the amazing staff in the kids club! They work from morning to night providing games, face painting, swimming lessons, dance parties, comedy shows, beach parties, dance shows. I have never seen a team work so hard but remain so happy and appear to genuinely love being around children. The hotel is one of the most family friendly hotels I have ever been too. The facilities are great, there is plenty to do, we never left the hotel. Rooms are small and basic, but we were rarely in the room except to sleep. Food was fantastic, which really surprised me from an all-inclusive. Drinks were good.

Amazing Staff, Amazing Entertainment

We had a fantastic stay here, it is perfect for children. There are activities from 10am to 10pm daily for children and adults alike. The staff working with the children are amazing and seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs and love being around children. The facilities are excellent with pools, golf, tennis, table tennis, archery, waterslides and much much more.. Nice beach, suitable for children, shade available everywhere.. I was hesitant of all inclusive, however were pleasantly surprised, the food was excellent, drinks good and available all day long.

Perfect vacation in (children's) paradise

We only stayed at Lyttos Beach for a week and it was clearly not enough, we are ready to go back! The amenities are perfect for families with children, the activities are abundant, the animators are fantastic, the shows are great. There is a wide selection of food and drinks, even for the picky eaters. We took a taxi from the airport (30 Euro), this seemed to be the best option for 5 people, it is about a 20 minute ride from Heraklion. The hotel itself is secluded, only a few shops in walking distance but we did not mind the privacy, plus they have a supermarket on site. The hotel has both adult and kids pools, plus great water slides for all ages. There are plenty of sports facilities but you can also just relax at their spa or the nice beach (a little rocky but not too bad, still plenty of sand for building castles. The rooms are not luxurious but they have everything you need to be comfortable, and the room service is very courteous, so is the rest of the staff. They even have swimming lessons for children, Dimitra is really wonderful with children, so don't miss it. We had a great time, and cannot say anything negative about Lyttos Beach. We would go back tomorrow if we could!

Good for family holidays

The room was good enough. We paid for family studio a little bit more bit in their website you can see that doesn't exist... Its standard room, no studio. Anyway the hotel is great for kids with pools and the beach. Its full of Germans (99%) and they are a bit rude sometimes... ;) anyway staff is great and animation is very good.

We had a very pleasant 5 days at Lyttos Beach in April 2015, it was avery enjoyable stay. The positives was definitely Suwaila from the Kids club, our 5 year old daughter didn't want to leave her side which made our holiday very relaxing! The food was good, communal areas very clean, restaurant staff friendly and polite. Unfortunately we had an incident where my wife was turned away from dinner because she was wearing flip flops, the same sandals she had worn for dinner 3 evenings before, she went back to the room to change her shoes and the restaurant was full of people still wearing their tennis sportswear, unfortunately, this really spoiled our evening and felt it could have been handled very differently. The hotel was very quiet when we stayed there. we are not big drinkers which was fortunate as the little wine and cocktails we tried were not great. but yes, we would return at the price we paid and for the overall experience

Good family vacation

Very nice hotel, perfect with children (we were with 9,4 and 2.5). Nice pool but the water is too cold so we didnt got in.... The beach is beutiful and very close. Not much to do around the hotel, we rented a car at the hotel for one day and traveld around it was great. Food is very good and the family room is big and comfort. A lot of bugs and musquitos around which is pretty annoying and the room shower needs some fixing..... but overall very nice and good hotel.

Very Nice Hotel for a Great Mediterranean Holiday

Great hotel, great staff, great food. We stayed there as family of two adults and two kids, using two separate rooms. Hotel is settled in a large area and has its own pools, outdoor theater, large pool bar / snacks area, tennis courts, beach, all inclusive restaurant, supermarket, gym and other facilities. First two days were very windy, we could not use the sea as the hotel is located on the north of the island and as the winds blew from the north, there were lot of waves but we enjoyed the (very large) pool, water slides and other facilities in the hotel, also we were able to rent a car and do sightseeing in the island. On the rest of the days as the wind stopped, we were able to enjoy the sea as well. Throughout the whole stay the whole hotel was very clean, very well maintained, food was top quality with lots of choices in meat, fish, poultry, vegetarian and other Mediterranean dishes. Food and drinks were all inclusive, and unlike other all inclusive deals which may have lower quality, this had top quality in food. Staff was very kind, they served food and drinks for long hours, the whole facility was properly maintained, starting from early hours in the morning. We would definitely recommend it for everyone, especially families who are looking for a great Mediterranean holiday.

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel. Die Qualität und die Sauberkeit sind wirklich sehr gut. Insgesamt war es für unseren Geschmack etwas zu groß und teilweise, vor allem im Main Restaurant, zu viel trubel. Ansonsten verteilt es sich aber ganz gut. Alles in allem aber ein tolles all inclusive Hotel.

Kein 5 Sterne Hotel

Um es vorweg zu nehmen, im großen und ganzen hatten wir einen schonen Urlaub. Das Zimmer (Familie Supperior) war sehr geräumig, die Klimaanlage aber etwas laut. Im vorderen Bereich des Zimmers blies die Klimaanlage quer zu den Betten am Gang was soweit gut war. Leider blies sie im hinteren Teil genau auf meine Seite des Doppelbettes was bei mir zu einem steifen Genick während des gesamten Urlaubs führte. Über die Qualität der Betten möchte ich nicht urteilen, da nicht jeder die gleichen Matratzengewohnheiten hat. Das Essen war nicht Spitzenklasse, aber im Anbetracht der Menge an Gästen die abgefertigt werden müssen richtig gut. Im China Restaurant ist das Buffet etwas unglücklich gestaltet da man egal ob man eine Vorspeise oder eine Hauptspeise will sich in einer langen Reihe anstellen muss. Die Pools waren noch etwas kühl, was wahrscheinlich auf die kühlen Nachttemperaturen zurückzuführen war. Als negativ habe ich allerdings die Wellnessabteilung empfunden. Für meinen Geschmack wurde viel zu aufdringlich geworben. Nachdem ich mir nur eine Massage gegönnt habe, musste ich mich rechtfertigen warum ich keine weiteren mehr nehme und dazu gedrängt doch noch weitere zu nehmen. Ein kleines Minus gibt es für relativ weiten Wege zu den Toiletten. In meinen Augen sind für so ein großes Hotel zu wenig vorhanden. Wie schon gesagt: Im großen und ganzen war der Urlaub gut, aber ich denke nicht dass wir zum Wiederholungstäter werden

Sports facilities are great. Very clean and great service. Food was great and the hotel is very spacious. There are lots of activities and the evening shows are very professional. The hotel is very accommodating if you have a late or early flight.

Très grand établissement, avec plage et nombreuses piscines Grand espace aquatique pour les enfants L'alimentation au top, large choix et produits frais de qualités, Seul point négatif : les piscines non chauffées dont celle des enfants.

War alles top! Und alle Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Außer der Empfang. Dort war der Mitarbeiter sehr hektisch und hat neben uns mehrere Gäste gleichzeitig eingecheckt. So dass er dann die Hälfte vergessen hat. Aber sonst war alles super. Besonders toll waren die beiden beheizten Schwimmerbecken zum Bahnen schwimmen.
