AUCUNE FENÊTRE dans ma chambre et ce n'était indiqué à nul part dans le descriptif contrairement à d'autres hôtels qui le disent. Aucune ouverture de la part du personnel pour essayer de trouver un arrangement. Je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel et je ne le recommande pas non plus.

Linh was the best! So helpful and friendly! This hostel is great for making new friends. It was close to everything and helped me with booking trips and booking night busses. Highly recommend this hostel!!

Bathrooms weren't very clean, but staff was friendly and the area was great for exploring the Old Quarter

This was a good place to stay. They did a good job of communicating with me via the app and arranged for a driver to meet me at the airport. A staff member helpfully carried my bag for me up to the 5th floor. The room was as advertised, comfortable & clean. The options for eating near by were overwhelming and sights were walkable. They were quick to offer any help in booking travel services & stored my bag for a bit after check out.

The staff was very helpful, arranging my tours, bus tickets, laundry and helping me extend my stay. Beds were comfortable with a nice privacy curtain, hooks, fans, cubbies which made the place feel like home for the days I spent there.

Affordable hotel in the old town

Good hotel right in the middle of the old town. Very helpful staff who facilitate your stay. I had a convenient stay there.

Fantastic stay

I had a great stay at Luxury Backpackers, Linh and the rest of the staff are so kind and helpful with anything you need. The facilities and beds are great, and it is in a great central location. I would highly reccomend.

In my 3 month asia traveling, this was my favorite hostel. Very private once you are in your bunk and also right in the middle of the city. I wish I was staying longer!

Just a few steps away from Old Quarter where restaurants and shops are available all day & night. The hotel/hostel itself is decent - could improve a bit on a few things but already good at a level of standard. Just one thing, as a person who doesn't smoke nor fancies being around smoke-filled environments, this is what they need to come up with strategies to bring it down as other guests smoke everywhere, sometime even in the bathroom, and there was no protocol to eradicate this issue. The bed is so comfy. I loved the fact that there were bedside space and on-the-wall hookers for personal stuff. The mini fan also worked and I was glad it was there because it could het warmer or hotter and when the AC couldn't reach me, I still had my mini fan to keep me cool. Great!

Very friendly staff, clean room, and great location.

Please be aware, at the time of this writing (23/09/2023) that there is no lift so going to your room requires traversing up and down the staircase :(. However, putting that aside, this hotel is located in Old Quarter, surrounded with many dining options nearby. It is also located near a cathedral. The receptionist, Linh, is fantastic. She provided great suggestion and tips about Hanoi culture, things to do, places to eat. She ensured that the guests are welcome.

Bathroom is much nicer than individual rooms

I am in a 8 months trip, normally i have my own room, but most of them don't have clean and nice bathroom, i give a try share room that i don't like, this bathroom is very clean and modern, much better than all my bathrooms, share areas also very clean, cost much less than my own room, i have locker that i always worry about, only problem share a room but not as lonely. I start booking share room after 6 months trip

The place was really cozy. It was really affordable and the manager who assisted us was very accommodating. He even allowed us to do an early check-in and gave us discount for a room upgrade. The hotel is also very near to good restaurants and coffee shop so I am really happy with my visit in Hanoi. Thank you so much for taking care of us!

Dorm was clean and quite, with good location. The double door lockers do not secure. They need a stationary pin for one side, then lock would work.

Got moved to a different hotel that they own, it was very average hot water didn’t work in the shower and lights were very dull

Hotel operators David and James are excellent. Friendly warm services and assistance available 24/7. Highly recommended.

I suggest this place. Super nice and friendly. We had a big issue with our luggages fron the airport and the owner helped us out! Highly recommended.

Very supportive staffs

I was booked here for just a few nights in March when the Covid-19 pandemic was just starting. The hostel took EXCELLENT precautions, taking down itineraries and taking temperatures every morning. Since my tours got cancelled I holed myself up here and had the absolute loveliest time. My room was GORGEOUS and the free breat every morning was delicious. Very happy with Daniel ( Dzung) and all his service. All the staff were excellent. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hostel. Would stay longer but the journey must continue... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I had an excellent stay at the Luxury Backpacker’s hotel. I booked a double room which had plenty of space, comfy bed, and air conditioning which was perfect after a day walking in Hanoi. Check-in was easy and staff were very friendly - free breakfast is good too! Perfect location in Hanoi and very well-priced. Definitely recommend!

Just as good as was advertised, excellent exp!

It was great for the price, beds were clean, service was great, breakfast was good (compared to many backpackers hostels where it's just toast and eggs). Location was great as well. I was staying at their dorm and was quite satisified with it. The quality of this place is just as advertised.

I stayed for three nights in a private room. It was as shown in the photos - clean, spacious, and very comfortable. I’ll stay here again when I come back to Hanoi.

The place is clean and neat. I stayed in a dorm and was very good... I booked a ha long overnight boat tour from the reception. I wanted to book ** tour that costed $95. However, the guy at the reception tricked me into booking a tour that costed 105$ saying there is a tax of $10 and portrayed to me that I was been given a free upgrade to ***. I later checked that all the prices are including taxes...even the invoice given to me did not show tax component. He thought he fooled me but I didn't was to spoil my mood on the second day of my tour...

Definitely A Luxurious Backpacker Hostel

The location is great. Nice street food and attractions within walking distances. Staff are friendly and attentive. Bed is comfy and shared bathroom is ok. Clean towel is available everyday and a locker for your belonging below the bed.

i have traveled a lot. Stayed in lots of hostels. Why I like this one so much is because of the Staff. Very kind and helpful. Plus there is plenty of room where we sleep. It’s clean and there’s a good breakfast. It’s a great location and they are really helpful with getting you where and when yo want ti go. Topshelf.

Decent place only stayed fir 9 hours. Came in late and left early. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff except they asked at 1130 for us to go to bed so they could close. The bed was a bit hard.

It was a great location. The staff went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and welcomed!

Clean, central location and super friendly

We were a group of 7 who rented out the entire 10-bed dorm room to ourselves. We received a key to the room. Worked out great. Clean firm beds, great set up with privacy curtains and two toilet/showers and one sink. Note that it is on the top 6th floor with no elevator so make sure everyone in your group can handle the climb. Breakfast included was solid and tasty, staff helped with taxi to and from airport for very reasonable price and no hassle, and they all just did so much to help us during our stay. Never once did anyone push tours or anything like that at all. I would highly recommend their dorms if that suits you or their private rooms. They also offer reasonably priced laundry service!

Hanoi the perfect chaos

It's crazy everywhere you go in Hanoi and therefore you need to get a place where you can settle down, get travel advice, cheap beer, wifi and a comfortable bed with a aircon. This is a Good location in middle of old quarter but not in main road which means it's more quiet. You can also expect an good International breakfast which include bacon, eggs and toast or some flap jacks. I could recommend this place to young travelers.

Great hostel, very helpful, good spacious bunks.

Great stay, incredibly helpful, flexible staff who helped with booking tours, buying a si card and currency exchange. Able to leave baggage there while off on trips. Reasonably nice communal area with tables where you can get some relative peace and quiet

Hotel with personal touch

The staffs are very warm, helpful and personal. Noise from the streets if can cut down will be perfect for me.

Good clean hotel with good location

Staff were super - helped us to call the taxi we booked at the airport & walked us out to the road where the taxi was waiting. We felt most welcome upon arrival. Place was clean. Shower was good. Breakfast was good too. Location was great. Only snag was no elevator but will definitely stay there again if we are there.

Great -- but other guests not so great

The hostel was nice and clean, however, people in my dorm were not great (not the hostels fault, but a definite bummer). Keep in mind that the bathrooms are in the room and other people in the dorm may decide to come in and shower after midnight and then blow dry there hair.. two nights in a row. The staff was fantastic though and I felt like they were very helpful despite my encounters with other guests who were disrespectful -- maybe post signs in dorm telling people to not use blow dryer after 10 pm and respect others after 11 am.

Friendly and clean hostel. Would stay again

Good for first time travellers

It's my first time travelling abroad so I had to book the most recommended hostel and I came across this. My booking included one bunk bed in a 10bed dorm. The curtains per bed provided privacy and and the bathroom and shower was good. Breakfast was also okay, helpful and friendly staff and they dont have to keep your passport. I only had a minor problem with the light in my bed, it was a little dark and I think the light needed changing but other than that it was all great. I would recommend this hostel for first time travellers.

Nice boutique hostel

This hostel was great, room was clean and shower was great. Beds were a little small and hard but ok for 2 nights. Breakfast was great. Staff friendly and helpful.

Perferct hostel experience in the perfect location

This hostel is everything every backpacker dream of. Sam, at the front, was extremely helpful and honest with booking all my tours to Sapa and Ha Long Bay. The rooms are extremely comfortable and clean. Breakfast is amazing...if you're staying in Hanoi, definitely choose this hostel. Best hostel experience I've ever been in.

Nice hostel

Nice hostel next to other hostels. Nice location, easy to walk to different attractions. Breakfast and food options were delicious. Safe hostel - you have a key/card for the room and your own locker. They clean the rooms everyday. I caught a cold because of the A.C.

The staff are just so helpful, the private rooms are big, clean with a nice design. James on reception helped us book a saps trip which was fantastic and also helped book us into their other hotel when the hostel was fully booked! Such good service! Wonderful place

Perfect stay in Hanoi

This hostel was perfect. We stayed there 2 nights. Breakfast was good, room was clean and the best part was the staff (James) who were so kind and helpfull. Would go back anytime. Only negative point was that it could be noisy in the room, but this is Hanoi haha!

Great, very helpful staff and a very clean and cozy place to stay! Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Ha Noi. Location is amazing, no need to use transport as you can walk everywhere.

Good location if you don't mind the 4.30 roosters

The staff who work here are lovely and you cannot fault the breakfasts or the ease of the location, but I had two problems with this hostel. First, I was woken every day by the roosters across the road, and I had no desire to wake up at 4.30 every day. The second was that the dorms aren't gender segregated. I woke up one morning at 4am to find a guy sitting at the bottom of my bed.

We stayed at the Luxury Backpacker for 4 nights in a private room with our own bathroom/shower. The hostel is very clean and comfortable. The staff was nice; helped us book the taxi to the airport and escorted us to the taxi when they arrived! The block the hostel is on is great... you don't have to go far for something good to eat! The hostel also included breakfast which was a choice between western breakfast (eggs, omelet, bread, jam, etc) or vietnamese (pho, pork, noodles, etc), coffee, lemongrass tea and juices as well. A great choice if you are looking for a hostel in Hanoi.

Großes Kompliment and Linh, sie und alle im Hostel waren super freundlich und extrem hilfreich. Bett ist bequem, Preis-Leistungs verhältnis auch ausgezeichnet! Einzig die Duschen sind super eklig.

Aircon didnt work

People works in there is so so so kind even my English is not well! Thank you everyone! Com on!

Overall, it was an okay experience. But we left the apartment with the AC turn on and when we came back it was turn off, when we said that we didn't want cleaning service that day. Also we book a bus with them to halong and we left more than one hour after the stablished hour, so I won't recommend booking additional services with them if you are in a rush.

Pleassant Stay

It's a pleasant stay. I was there for 3 nights. The staff were able to provide timely support and assistance. They were really helpful and friendly. The location is quite near to the old town and the lake. The room was in general clean. There's little room for improvement in the cleanliness of the bathrooms, but just a little. There's slight odour.

男女兼用の部屋はロッカーキーもあり安心で快適でした。日本人なのでシャワーとトイレの仕切りがないのには最初戸惑いましたがベトナムの文化を味わえて良かったです。 ホステルを出たら賑やかな街が広がっていてめちゃエキサイティングでした。匂いも騒音もぜひ体で感じてほしいです。

We felt very welcome in Luxury Backpackers Hotel, especially Linh helped us with arranging the best trips and the best hotspots in Hanoi. Definitely recommend this hotel.
