More pictures would have helped guide my decision. No issues with our stay, and it served us for what we needed, just expected it to be a bit more modern and renovated.
The staff was lovely, very kind, helpful, charming and approachable, the only down side to the hotel was during our 3 night stay, no cleaning staff ever came to our room to replenish toilet rolls, renew our towels or coffee & tea, so we ended up having to buy our own toilet rolls which isn’t a problem apart from both rooms next door to you got visited by cleaning staff everyday!?
Good value
Compact nice room in good area
Walls were super thin, and the people next to me always made noise when returning back super late in the middle of the night- could literally hear their conversation loud and clear and they weren’t even talking THAT loud honestly. Cleanliness was pretty good, they could have provided my room with more than one toilet roll, luckily i realized and used the paper super sparingly, like really really sparingly.. Bathroom/shower was small but I guess for the cheap price I don’t expect more. Location was close to Sacre Coeur Basilica which was great, and 2 min walk to metro which was convenient for my stay in Paris. Overall happy for the price, probably could not have expected better. Staff were nice.
Everything is good, the front desk staffs are so nice, the only problem is the wifi is slow
Room was large and bed was comfortable. Excellent value.
Great location and accommodation
Inside hotel room was clean and I am thinking that it was nice to be there after the Olympics! The room appeared to be freshly remodeled and clean. No frig or microwave, but I think that is pretty standard. Surrounding area seemed pretty safe, though not so clean. We would go there again. Nearby Amorino’s gelato - yummy artisan ice cream cones🍦
Very enjoyable stay
All good
It was a good experience and very convenient place to travel in city.
This is definitely not a Five Star hotel but it is efficient, simple, clean, and well run. Bed is comfortable. We had gone two nights without sleep in airplanes and in hotels and slept for 15 hours sollid. AMAZING.
Great Hotel to stay at, Lovely hotel staff, very nice room service
The location is so convenient, easy access to everywhere, the front desk staffs are very good, and there are lots of good restaurants around. And there is a free storage for us to put our big luggage there.
Nice place in central paris. Very convenient
Really great place to stay. Easy access to the Metro which can take you anywhere.
Good location in Monmartre, very close to the metro; walking distance from Sacre-Coeur; very clean room; nice helpful staff.
Very close to the grocery stores and subway. Walking distance from the church at Monmartre.
The double room was very large. Shower facilities excellent. Tea, coffee. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Area fantastic for metro, walking, eating out, supermarkets, safe, quiet and so close to Sacre Coeur. It was a lovely hotel and I would definitely stay here again.
Fairly close to the metro but walls were very thin and I could hear noise from the room next door. Room was basic and floor did not feel clean. No air conditioning, just a fan but bed was comfy.
Basic hotel, but perfect for a last minute trip to the Olympics. Right outside the route for the road cycling and close to two metro stations.
Clean, affordable and close to Montmartre!
Very close to Montmartre!
Ok
Very hot and no aircon, basic shower
This place was great. Staff were very nice and the location was very convenient for seeing a lot of Paris.
It's very affordable, nice staff, present 24/24, very stylish, brings you in this Toulouse Lautrec athmosphere, very spacy room, modern bathroom. Located in Montmartre, one 9f the finest places in Paris. I had problems with the wifi though.
high tides and good good vibes
Safe
I enjoyed my stay! Found the rooms comfortable and clean. The location is great walking distance to many cafes and monuments of Paris. Great for a couple who want to spend more time in Paris than in a hotel room. The doors do lock from the inside just have to use your provided key I dont know what the one lady in the reviews is talking about sounds like she got out smarted by a door.
Everything was nice. Perfect for the price.
The hotel is great except for two things. 1) The Wi-Fi signal is weak. 2)Some rooms have doors that don't lock from the inside. When I go to sleep, I want to the door to be locked. If they fix those 2 problems, it's a great hotel. I can't say anything about the price, because I don't often visit hotels.
Unsafe area and we around at the hotel around 2am and the doorman took ages to open the door for us. We would not stay again at this property. Everything very dirty and without maintenance.
A great stay! Loved the Luxia hotel!!
Continent to 2 different metro lines (and only a slightly longer walk to a 3rd!) and perfect location for exploring Montmartre! The elevator is tiny (not necessarily a negative- thankful they have one!) - so you may need a few trips or to break down your stroller to fit. Staff was super nice, we had a triple (room 37) with a bathtub, which was helpful for bathing baby, and it was mostly very quiet- a little hall noise and the opening and closing of elevator door, but my 11 month old slept just fine! No street noise whatsoever
Very very happy with the joint, staff very friendly, highly recommended
24/7 check-in, very friendly taff and the room was much bigger than expected. Overall a fantastic find at the bottom.of Montmartre
I would stay again if they updated mattresses.
The bed was sooooo uncomfortable. The room was clean and the staff were lovely, it was a quieter area but there was some banging of dishes or something going on during the night.
Good experience
Good customer xervice, nice clean and comfortable room. Very quiet and modern
Excellent value and access to Montmartre
Luxia review May 2024
Our one night budget hotel was clean, comfortable and covered the basics very well.
Lovely hotel in a good location
Nice modern hotel in a good location. Our room was smalll but it had a small balcony which was good as it gave extra space but had only views of the walls and back of other buildings. Service was lovely and breakfast good. I loved location with loads of good restaurants and bars. Being at back of hotel it was surprisingly quiet at night
The room was ok but the door locks need improved. Also there was no tissues in the room and the shower was way to small. The area it was in I did not feel comfortable walking in.
It was very noisy. Scrapping of chairs and tables til all hours.
My room had an infestation of ants in the bathroom. Despite my best efforts the shower also soaked the entire bathroom floor
The room was very clean and nice. It’s easy to get to Sacre Coer, 2 metro stations from the hotel. A good place to stay at on a budget
Great location to the Basilisk and transport hubs. Too noisy, you can hear your neighbors talking all night.
The hotel is at the base of the the church. It is in a very good location, close to transport, excellent restos, patiserries and boulangers. It is a no frills 2 star category hotel and it was a very good value for Paris. The room was clean and comfortable enough for 2 people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Merci Luxia.
Friendly, great location
We stayed one night - great location steps from Sacre couer and restaurants, lively area. We were able to store our luggage ahead of check in. Clean nice room and beds, exactly what we needed on our last night in the city.
Great stay for the price. I’d stay again!
Very simple hotel close to the Sacré Coer with lots of lovely restaurants, bars and shops nearby. Close to the metro or perfect for exploring Paris on foot.
It was honestly perfect for the price I paid. Super close to the train station you can walk, check-in was easy! Supposed to be a 3pm but I got there around 12:00 and got my room right away! Shower had best temperature and pressure it was very suprising, bed is comfortable and room was spotless ! Perfect for 1 or 2 nights not a luxurious room at all but it does the job for a quick stay! I highly recommend !
I arrived early and my room was ready andthey let me check in early without even requesting. Staff is great and very resourceful
Overall great value option in Paris…I’d go back
Upon. Arrival at 11 am we were informed we would not be able o Ck in until 3 but that they would happily store our cases. Very friendly and helpful morning staff. Upon arrival at 7pm to finally Ck in the young man said I had no reservation. It took some time to convince him to continue to look (as we had the reservation that morning since the morning girl checked prior to leaving our bags….so it had to be there. He reluctantly went through his computer and finally handed a key to us. Nothing more was said by him other than pointing to the elevator. Room was clean considerably larger than expected and adequately comfortable. Teeeny tiny shower with excellent temperature and pressure. The towels however are paper thin and it’s hard to get fully dry…but it’s not a deal breaker
The staff was friendly and super helpful regarding our questions about the city. The room was clean and they do have an elevator.
Outstanding service, clean room, fantastic location in Montmartre.
Everyone at the hotel very friendly and helpful. Rooms very clean and pleasant. Definitely recommend.
Very close to the bus station And the metro station
It was in a good location. Simple hotel but fit for purpose. Only problem was toilet sliding door was jammed most of the time we tried to use it.
This place was so terrible I don’t even know where to begin. Do not book here! It’s worth spending the extra 40$ to spend the night at a place like hotel Albert premier. First off, the staff members have a disgusting attitude with the exception of the younger gentleman with the glasses. The two other older men were condescending, extremely unhelpful and rude. He told us to shut up when we were asking for an extra blanket which was not provided on a cold winter day. He said we had to wait until the next day to get one. The next day came and nothing. The day after came and nothing. Secondly, everything was dirty and old. The rooms were tiny and gloomy and the carpets were extremely dirty. Bathroom had only a hairdryer which didn’t even work and a shower head that pointed to the wall. Extremely unpleasant stay.
I absolutely loved staying at this hotel. Incredible area, and every morning I went for a walk to get some coffee and felt like a true Parisian. Great shower, bed. I will definitely stay again!
While clean, this place is extremely outdated and shabby looking ( ugly decor, peeling paint, horrible shower) That said, it iscin a wonderful location in Montmarte
You charged me for two people as your website redirected me.
Beautiful area, great hotel but understandblynoisy
The hotel itself is great, the staff are really friendly and forgiving of poor french skills us British tourists may have, The rooms are small by modern standards but because of the age of the area that is to be expected. The touristic nature of the area being so close to Sacre Coeur means that there is a lot of clean up at night and the closeness of the streets and the tallness of the building combined with the old beautiful fashioned single glazing windows means that noise outside isnt really muffled at all. Which works in your favour when the church bells ring out on Sunday morning but really makes the necessary daily bin lorry collections at 11pm and the night revelries of the tourists grind if you have small children. But NONE of that is the hotels fault at all and none of the other hotels in the area will be immune from it either. Just know that its going to be a little more lively and noisy than usual.. accept it.. and roll with it because - Its why you're here. Again.. the staff are great, the building is beautiful and so very close to SC and a quick 5 min ride up the funicular to MontMatre and within seconds of a major metro stop for all the big6 attractions, plenty of supermarkets and pharmacies and tourist shops means youre well catered for. We will be staying here again when we return next time. Its a great base to explore all that Paris offers which still be remote enough to experience the more rural aspects of France without the price tag.
Hotel is not far from metro station, Basic clean room with en-suite but no AC, when asked for fan they provided small table fan. To stay a night or two is okay.
Simple check-in. We were placed in a renovated room facing the street. The room was nice and comfortable. What we needed, but the noise from the street was very loud. When the windows were closed it was quiet and cut out a lot of the street noise, but it got too hot and stuffy during the night and we needed to open the windows for fresh air. (Mid-September) All in all it was a good stay. The staff was very friendly and it’s in a great location one block from Anvers station. We would stay here again, but we would ask for an inner courtyard room instead of a street facing room. Also, door knobs/locks need updating. It was very difficult to access the room with the key and the knobs jiggled and felt like they might fall off. Didn’t feel very secure.
bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs 😕😕
Great location for all the sights. Very quiet considering it’s location
Located near Montmartre was good.
Basic but ideal
This was a last minute booking as Easyjet cancelled my flight home and I got stranded in Paris. I managed to get a very cheap deal in the hotel and was very impressed by what I got for the price. The room was a decent size, the bed was comfy and they had a nice powerful shower. There were big windows which was great as the city was very hot this weekend and therefore it kept the room nice and cool. On the downside it was quite noisy as the hotel is on a main street but this is nothing too bad unless you're a light sleeper. My only grumble is that there was only one plug socket in the room which was less than ideal. There was a second one but it was faulty and didn't work - I think it was meant to be for the TV as this was unplugged when I got to the room and this didn't seem to work either. All in all I was actually impressed with the hotel for the price. The Sacre Couer is literally at the end of the street and there are plenty of nice cafe's within a 5 minute walk. Montemarte is a beautiful part of Paris and you can reach the quaint little streets, the Moulin Rouge, Picasso's house and Amelie's cafe within 10 minutes. All in all the room was pretty basic but served my purposes perfectly and I would happily stay there again
Within. a block of the Metro the staff was nice friendly and very helpful
Trip in Paris! Hotel Luxia
Very nice service, good location!
Good area , close to Gare du Nord and metro station. Small room and clean . Good for short stay🙂
Really good deal ...you get a decent hotel with good staff
Very good hotel in a very good place all nearby to the places to show
Excellent location, friendly staff, close to metro, can get about easily
2 minutes walk from Sacre Coeur the hotel is located right in the middle of Montmartre. Close to the Metro. The journey to the Champs Elysees takes 20 minutes tops. Staff helpful. Good breakfast. Parts of the hotel could do with a tidy up but for the price this is a great place to get the real feel of Paris.
only once!
the rooms are in a poor condition; no closing door to the bathroom, broken sink, pouring water... very noisy hotel (external noises from cars on the street, as well as internal noises coming from other rooms) It's a pity, because staff very kind
Adequate hotel for the price you pay
Breakfast food was good though the service people were rude and inhospitable. Front desk attendee was always stoic faced and did not greet the customers The room was always left not locked after cleaning but the room was always cleaned well but the carpet in the room was stained which needed to be changed. Washroom is kept clean but the paint was cracked and peeling - needs to be repaired. Only one electrical outlet in the whole room and none in the washroom - not convenient The location is very good with all amenities in a short distance. There is no ac in the room which we did not need since the weather was not hot but during hot season, it will be unbearable. The bed was firm and comfortable but the blanket was of rough fiber There was a cafe or a pub nearby with noise past midnight but one can be used to it. Only 2 people can fit into the elevator but it works. Very basic hotel without any luxury but you get what you paid for. Even though the hotel is a very basic one, if the staff were friendly customers will be feel at home and return. Great coffee
Awful!!
The room was tiny and not cleaned. I felt so disgusted to sleep on the uncleaned bed. Found someone else's hair where my infant was sleeping. The stuffs were so rude. I requested for a cup of hot water to make milk for my infant daughter. The guy in the reception dismissed it saying that the kitchen is closed after the breakfast time. We were so surprised by that. Not recommending it at all.
Would not allow family to store luggage (3 bags) for 3 hours in our room so we could go to dinner together before they flew out. Was not air conditioned and they would not provide a fan for the room(98 degrees F). Would not call taxi for me to get to airport...told me I needed to order it the day before. My brother slept on the floor in front of the window because it was more comfortable than the bed. I left a day early (although I was charged full price for the night I did not stay.) The only positive thing was that the first person at the desk tried to be helpful...he offered to allow the luggage to be stored and gave us a good suggestion of a place to visit while we waited for our room which was not ready st 3:00pm. However, there was a screaming fight once the “manager” arrived and he chased us down the street and made my family return to pick up their luggage. Clearly the person who tried to help was in trouble for doing so. We were in France for 12 days and this was the only negative experience we had...I would never return to this hotel.
Good location comfortable room easy to reach for transport into the city
Excellent location
An excellently located hotel that needs some updating. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful and reception staff friendly and helpful. Clean and beds were comfy but carpets worn and decor needs redoing. Value for money in central Paris.
Not clean, not comfortable, rude staff !
Not good enough for expedia, avpid this hotel, as described in title.
Nice place
This was my first time in Paris. The Luxia has a fantastic location in Montmartre, just steps away from Sacre Couer and a metro station. Room was nice -- comfortable, quiet, sufficient. Included breakfast was very good. Hotel workers were mostly very friendly; big man at the front desk could have been just a little friendlier.
Mycket bra läge i Montmartre.
It was central Montmartre. Kind people.
Ras
Bon séjour
Parfait ! Hotel charmant et personnel très agréable
Dirty rooms, specially the shower
Hotel was clean and calm. Area around the hotel was nice, good barerys, restaurants etc.
Ótima!
Location is great close to metro and restaurants I ll go back again
