Waste of money

First of all, this is not a hotel or tourist apartments. It's residence apartment block, so you get no help from the front desk, no access to the gym and no access to the laundry room. We booked this place on the understanding we could use the the gym and laundry room, the website gave false information. When cooking in the kitchen, the power would cut out every 30 seconds, the people who own the apartment were unhelpful in fixing this. My advice would be not to bother and go somewhere else.

Gritty Area

Rude contact person who insisted on having a paper proof of booking. Took payment in USD cash and complained about every single bill which was even slightly crumpled. Room given was not the same as advertised - expected double + 2 twin beds, got 2 twins and a trundle. Avoidable place.

In Central Santiago, So so.

This is central Santiago. Way too far from the airport for me and the transportation was too expensive for an overnight.

Excellent Manager, Good Location

Victor was an excellent host. Location was great, good and fast wifi, self-Laundry service is ok, location is good, central and close to metro stations and walking distance to attractions. Will definitely go back to Santiago and will stay with Victor if possible.

Exactly what you paid for

Hotel was mediocre, the location was a bit scary especially to arrive late as I did. I was alittle frustrated with the hotel not having NO room service of any kind. Over all the hotel was exactly as described, apartment style. If you only speak Spanish be aware, the receptionist doesn't, so it was hard to communicate.

Stayed in 2 aparts. 1st was ok. Bit dirty, 2nd had foul carpet and was lacking in comfort and dirty. Was only staying overnight. Don't think bed had been changed as hair on bed (foul) wouldn't stay again

Disappointing

This is a regular apartment building. There is not reception or people for help you. It's not working as a suites apartments. A lot of noise there, not good at all. Terrible. Pictures lies.....

HAPPY TO RECOMMEND THE LUNA SUITES.

Good value for the money, good location. Would recommend it. Because it was a bed, the couch in the living room was very uncomfortable to sit on. The chair was good but, unfortunately, there was only one. Perhaps a little more care in cleaning as the night table and lamp by the window were dusty and the toilet seat was loose when we arrived, which should have been reported by the cleaning staff. By the following day it was completely unhinged. However, we did not report it until we left so could not fault management. Victor did a great job checking us in and orientating us to the neighborhood, even to walking us to a good restaurant. He also booked a taxi for us to get to the airport which was very helpful as the desk clerk spoke no English at all so couldn't have done it without him. Thank you Victor.

The stay started out a bit rough, when we arrived to the complex and the man at reception didn't speak English. I showed him the reservation, so he seemed to understand. He told us to sit while he called the person in charge of that apartment. 40 minutes later, we were still sitting and he was chatting to another reception man. We asked again and he seemed to get upset, but he made a phone call and the man in charge of the apartment came down within a minute, so I don't think reception made any call the first time. The owner didn't speak much English either, but asked us if one bed was fine. I had requested 2 twins, but the other option listed was 1 king, so I said ok. It was double, if not a small queen (and old & firm). The safe was also locked, so it was unusable, but we didn't realize this until after he had gone. Those were the negatives. It is a great walkable location, and the water pressure in the shower was great. The WiFi was also good. I didn't use any part of the kitchenette, so I can't really review that.

Good room, close to the centre.

Excellent facilities for the price. Kitchen, sofa, big double bed. Bath in bathroom. Great wifi. But not so easy to find as it's located in a big apartment block.

Location was great!

The location was very good and central to everything we needed. The staff was very nice and brought extras like towels and a hair dryer. There was no couch in the living room, but there were beds instead, which was a little odd for a condo.

Helpful staff, ideal for mid-length stay

The owner was accommodating about extending my reservation at the last minute and helpful about storing luggage, etc. Not a typical hotel, but having the kitchen makes it ideal for a stay of a week or two. Various loud neighbors (music, guitar, barking dogs) amplified by the echoing patio, but other than that, no complaints.

Very nice surprise!

This was a great place to stay especially for the low price! Very close to major areas and the subway system. The room was very new looking and the bed and bathroom were amazingly clean. The owner was very accomodating with our departure time and pleasant to deal with. Coin laundry and small gym downstairs.

In the center of Santiago!!

I am not a gambler but this was like a gamble!! I got a room in Santiago for $52 dollars a nite. Very clean room, everything is new, nice bed nice shower, neat kitchen. We wanted some place comfy and close to everywhere . We walked to the Santiago house of Neruda, we had breakfast in a beautiful cafeteria that had awesome bread! Just loved it!!

Superb location relative to everything

Arrived 03h and night clerk reached over and handed me my keys, just like that. I was pooped but was in my room within minutes. I spent the following day walking easily into the old center several times, then left the hotel at 04h25 for the airport in a taxi I had reserved. Fantastic stopover, brief but efficacious beyond words.

Luna Suite review

Great for the price, nice central location and very close to the Santa Lucia metro station so you can get pretty much anywhere very easily. Quite a small room, with either two single beds or a double, plus a roller pull-out bed and another single bed in quite a confined space. Better for 3 people rather than 4. The room gets serviced every weekday and they replace towels etc. The wifi was good, the signal dropped at one point but the manager fixed it asap. The front desk staff do not speak any english, and the manager speaks very little so have a phrase book handy if you need anything. It was quite noisy at night time as there were a lot of rooms in a small space.

Good apartment hotel in the city

Check in and out was fast. My room was clean and internet, cable tv, heat and hot water were good. The bed was comfortable. No breakfast buffet was available.

Needs to lift it standards

The first suite offered had an unmade double bed when we requested twin beds. Second suite offered had a freshly made bed in the lounge but a double bed with dirty sheets in the bedroom - luckily I had a sleeping sheet & pillow case. Both beds had really stained smelly blankets.. Finally the third night we both got clean sheets with dirty blankets. Floors needed a good scrub into the corners as dust & dirt had accumulated there. Also all the vents in the bathroom were black with dust in both suites. Towels & kitchen were very clean. Manager tried his best but his English very limited & he had no idea re change of linen at all. Reception desk spoke no English at all yet the majority of guests we saw were English speaking. A modern place in a central area but the staff have no idea of cleanliness & for the price we did expect clean linen. Expedia - please check this out as it is a real concern that you recommend this place.

Very nice room, its all you need for a short stay in Santiago. Highly recommended.

Convenient location but noisy

I stayed 2 nights in a triple efficiency. It was clean and comfy but very noisy. The location was excellent. There was no breakfast and you are only allowed 1 soap and toilet paper roll. The housekeeping is not on weekends so you can only get fresh towels on weekdays. You need to advise ahead of time if you need parking. The parking is not free, although I told them I saw free parking online so they didn't charge me. Parking is underground and on site so worth it even if you have to pay the $10 a day. We were showed the unit and given a map and advice on the popular sights so that was nice. Other than noisy neighbors in the surrounding apartments, it was a great value.

Luna Suites -A little out of this world

Interesting location. Very confusing arrangement for the apartment. No one spoke any English, which didn´t help. The apartment was nice but very noisy. The housekeeper was sweet but the owners should spring a few pesos and have the carpet and sofa cleaned.

Location is convienient to all sights and metro. Facilities are good, but sadly my room smelt of smoke. Overall enjoyed stay.

Près de toutes les attractions Voisinage bruyant la nuit. Logement confortable mais le sofa avait été remplacé par un lit donc pas d'endroit pour s'asseoir.

La ubicación. No me gustó que era muy muy frío, tanto que terminamos con un resfriado fabuloso. No tenía calefacción y si bien es primavera el viento de la cordillera es helado. Deberían tener estufas. A partir de las 17 se ponía congelado. No le da el sol en ningún momento. Pasamos frío.

ホテルと思っていたら、マンションでした。言葉も問題ありました。フロントデスクにいる人はスペイン語しかできません。チェックアウトの時に、問題発生しました。フロントデスクの人はお金の精算はしてくれませんでした。その時初めてここが民泊という事に気づきました。その後フロントデスクの人が貸主に連絡を取ってくれ、その人と直接お金のやり取りをしてようやくチェックアウトできました。約1時間くらいかかりました。急いでいたら言葉も通じないしかなりあせる状況でした。

Quarto limpo porém barulhento e sem blackout

Bom quarto. Preço justo. Próximo ao meu local de interesse, porém muito barulhento e sem blackout nas janelas. Não é ideal para quem quer relaxar. Somente para quem o utilizar somente para dormir à noite. Durante o dia é impossível cochilar. Muito barulho urbano e claridade total em todos os cômodos.

O apartamento é confortável com cozinha, microondas, frigobar e utensílios necessários. Localização é boa à algumas quadras do metrô, mas dá para fazer vários passeios à pé. Como era apartamento não tinha limpeza diária mas trocaram as toalhas de banho 1 vez na estadia de 1 semana.

Como ya había comentado, fue una estafa. Una vez que llegué, me tomó los datos, sacó fotos a la documentos, y al último me dijo que no recibía tarjetas, cuando la reserva la hice con tarjeta. Yo espero no encontrarme con una sorpresa cuando llegue el resumen Por otro lado tuve que salir a buscar otro hotel perdiendo todo el día asta que conseguí.

Arreglar puertas

Nos fue bien, el lugar es agradable y tranquilo, permite prepararse comidas sencillas como el desayuno, la pasamos bien... aunque debieron arreglar las puertas de entrada y del baño que no cerraban con facilidad

Ficamos muito decepcionados com o estado em que se encontrava o apartamento. Quando entramos parecia tudo em ordem, entretanto, bastou ficarmos alguns minutos dentro para ver que estava sujo (bolas de poeira em algumas partes do apartamento), toalhas sujas, lençóis de cama sujos, inclusive com pelos pubianos... NOJENTO! A cama também era muito desconfortável, era possível sentir as molas na hora de dormir... sem falar que havíamos pedido cama de casal e ao chegarmos nos deparamos com duas de solteiro... Ademais, o WI-FI era de péssima qualidade... mal e mal abriam os e-mails... e a conexão caía a todo momento. Se estão oferecendo um serviço que o prestem com qualidade!!!! Por fim, não recomendo a permanência neste local. A viagem foi maravilhosa, enquanto não estávamos dentro desse apartamento...!

Buena ubicación

Todo estaba perfecto. El apartamento impecable y super cómodo. El dueño muy cordial y amable. Más que recomendable. Y nos dejaron ingresar antes del horario publicado porque habíamos llegado temprano. No tuvimos ningún inconveniente.

Lamentablemente la suciedad de la habitacion hace que todo lo demas sea irrelevante.

Apartamento de 1 quarto no centro de Santiago

Não é um hotel, mas o aluguel de um pequeno apartamento (quase um apart-hotel) por um ou alguns dias. Portanto não há como avaliar serviços como a limpeza do quarto (que fica por conta do hóspede). O quarto tinha algumas coisas típicas de hotel como xampu e sabão. A equipe da portaria foi sempre atenciosa e simpática, embora não tenha obrigação de hotelaria com os hóspedes que alugam apartamentos.

Las fotos no eran similares a lo real, habían varias cosas defectuosas ( manojos de puertas, cortinas, sillas, etc.) Falta de limpieza en todo el departamento.

Apart Hotel no centro de Santiago, próximo das principais atrações, museus, prédios históricos. Praticamente tudo pode ser feito a pé. Muito bom por isso. Quanto ao apartamento, estava arrumado, mas podia estar mais limpo. Deixaram shampoo e condicionador, mas esqueceram de deixar o sabonete. Ele fica num prédio residencial. Chegamos e recebemos um envelope lacrado com as instruções de uso, senha da fechadura eletronica, Wi-Fi, nr telefone celular para contato para dúvidas. Porém, o apto tinha linha telefônica, mas não ligava para célulares. Os porteiros do prédio sequer davam bom dia, e fui perguntar onde podia estacionar o carro, me falaram para ligar para Luna Suites. Deixo uma dica para quem for alugar carro. A locadora me eu um Renault Symbol com 2800km, ou seja, novinho. Estacionei ele na rua ao lado do hotel, para pernoitar, aparentemente tranquilo. Arrombaram o porta malas para roubar o estepe. Se fosse um carro mais velho, provavelmente, não chamaria atenção. Em resumo, para quem quer um local bem localizado em Santiago para dormir, com um custo relativamente barato, o local é ótimo. Se for mais exigente, não recomendo.

Excelente la atención de su anfitrión Sr. Víctor. Nos indicó cómo manejarnos en la ciudad con todas las recomendaciones para encontrar los mejores sitios que podríamos visitar en los pocos días que estuvimos. Mucha disponibilidad que nos sirvió de ayuda ante cualquier consulta o duda de nuestra parte. No teníamos la confirmación del uso de cochera y Víctor nos cedió la suya sin ningún costo adicional. Recomendaría seguramente este sitio

Não é um hotel, portanto não tem serviços de hotel, (limpeza diária, café da manhã) porém é um flat que vc acaba tendo mais liberdade que um hotel comum, o bairro super bem localizado e bem próximo ao metrô!

Ótimo apartamento, com ótima localização, porteiro 24 hs, tudo muito limpo, calefação, água quente, wi fi, talheres, até ventilador para os mais calorentos. Super indico, voltaria com certeza.

Não e um Hotel e sim um apartamento. Limpeza não funciona fique 9 dias e durante os 9 dias não teve limpeza chegue ate a pedi no 6 dias novos roupas de cama e mesmo assim não foi atendido. Porém apartamento tem uma linda decoração WiFi funciona muito e o banheiro e muito gostoso tem uma banheira com uma ducha gostosa bem durantes os 9 dias Vitor e Flavio são muito educados a decoração . A localização e perfeita o Fugão só uma boca esta funcionando, o forno também não funciona

Bajo costo, buena ubicacion, mucho ruido

Buena ubicación no obstante el sentir que estas en un edificio con mas de 100 departamentos y no tener teléfono en la habitación y encontrarse las oficinas de renta del cuarto, en otro piso.

ótimo custo beneficio

Super tranquilo, ótima localização com metrô bem perto. Chegamos durante a madrugada e tudo estava certinho, todos já nos aguardavam. Como não é um hotel, e sim um apart, os serviços estavam adequados as nossas expectativas.

Experiencia Chilena

Los problemas es que Uds publicitan hotel y en realidad no es. Es un tipo apart. No tiene desayuno y para mi fue un gran inconveniente. Tampoco la habitación tenía TE. En la conserjería que es COMPARTIDA cuando necesité hacer llamado a taxis y minibus para ir al aeropuerto no me lo hicieron porque me dijeron que no les correspondía. Tuve que ir a almacen en la misma cuadra para solicitar los servicios de transporte

Boa relação custo x benefício

Trata-se de um apart hotel. Bom custo-benefício, boa localização, atendimento solícito, porém o apartamento foi disponibilizado com as roupas de cama sujas.

BUENAS RELACION PRECIO-CALIDAD

No es un hotel, es un apart. No tiene servicio de recambio de toallas ni limpieza. Muy buenas ubicación céntrica. Muy buena relación precio-calidad.El edificio está en muy buenas condiciones. El apartamento que alquilé era pequeño, pero con todas las comodidades. Tal vez necesitaría, en la época que me alojé, octubre, aire acondicionado.Muy buena conexión WIFI.Lo mejor: el encargado: Sr. Víctor Rother, su excelente atención y predisposición para con el pasajero, hacen que considere la posibilidad de alojarme nuevamente en el Luna Suites.

Great location

Great location near the center of Santiago de Chile. The apartment was comfortable, clean and the service was great. We also could park the car in the building, what was a great plus as well. I defenitively can recommend the place!

Bem localizado. Houve um certo mal-entendido com relação ao estacionamento. Na descrição da Expedia constava um valor diário de menos de um dólar (469 pesos), porém, no hotel me disseram que seria 15 dólares por dia. Porisso, o administrador não cobrou nenhuma taxa é me disse para colocar na vaga que era dele. A mangueira do chuveiro estava quebrada. Após relatar o problema, o administrador prontamente comprou uma nova e efetuou a troca.

Ótima localização, flat confortável sem luxo!

Me senti bem instalada, porém a roupa de cama eu comprei nova, pano de prato da cozinha tb, a limpeza do flat em geral deixa a desejar, o atendimento é nota 10 - esclarecimento sobre a cidade inclusive - vale a pena se hospedar se o seu lance não for luxo, e se estiver disposto a dar uma limpadinha aqui outra acola...rsrs!!!
