Fantastic

I went to Fatima to experience the beginning of the apparitions I’d never stayed at Luna before . I opted for half board It was fantastic range and quality of food . The restaurant manager Lewes and his team were amazing . Friendly attentive professional . The quality of food was superb. I will return to stay here again and am already looking forward to it . The room was really clean and comfortable Everything top notch . I arrived late on my first night and the young man on the front desk brought up some food . This is really looking out for guests .

Out of the midst of the busiest sections of town

This is a great place to stay when making a pilgrimage to Fatima. It is out of the busiest sections of town near the Basilica but still near plenty of services.

Enjoyed breakfast, nice room with TV, fridge and kettle, very good cleaning staff, fabulous choice for breakfast. Sadly rooms don’t have thermostats you can control for the heating to come on. It was cold and windy surprisingly in June . We were told heating is off as it’s summer. Extra blankets were given to us to warm our bodies. Toilet sewage smell on 5th floor. Restaurant staff very friendly. Wouldn’t stay here again as 15 minutes walk to the Sanctuary. There are other nearby hotels to the Basilica. Wouldn’t recommend to those with walking difficulties.

The friendly, helpful staff and cleanliness of this hotel really made it for me. What a wonderful hotel. All the staff really go out of their way to help you. The hotel is greatly located (the shrine of Fatima is about a 10 minute walk). I arranged for an airport pick up and couldn’t have asked for a nicer driver (thank you Helder for being so helpful and friendly and especially for helping my 87 year-old grandmother get in and out of the car). The freshly baked pastel de nata they had in their breakfast selection is a must! Thank you Luna Fatima and especially thank you to the wonderful staff. Would highly recommend.

The hotel is clean, we slept well, decent breakfast buffet, strong internet connection, friendly staff, and walking distance to the bus station & Fatima Sanctuary.

High-quality hotel, but very deceptive amenties

The hotel was in very good condition with a top-notch breakfast buffet, bar and comfortable seating area in the lobby. Room service was excellent and left snacks sometimes. The big downside was that many of the services listed on the website were not available at the hotel. Laundry service would have been over 100 Euro based on their pricing chart which was confirmed by the front desk. We were able to do all of our laundry in a local laundromat (a 4 minute walk) for 10 Euro. Many other of the amenities were not available, though specifically described on the website as well in the FAQ/Hotel pamphlet placed in the room.

The hotel is really nice inside and offers great breakfast. However, the room we booked came with one less bed than promised and, when we complained that it was important to us, we were not offered any solution or even compensation for the mistake.

Excellent and affordable

Perfect place to stay if visiting Fatima. Booked well in advance and booked the half board option. Food exceptional - 3 course meal and quality was exceptional. In fact, I know where I will be staying when I next visit Fatima as I come here every year.

Great Stay

Great one night stay at Luna Fatima Hotel. Excellent staff all around. On-site parking, free wifi that worked well and breakfast included in the very reasonable nightly rate. Easy to reach location and vary close to all Fatima attractions. Would definitely stay at Luna when visiting Fatima in the future.

Terrific Staff

The great staff set this hotel apart. The young women who said she was new was so helpful and kind.....even stopped me as I went for a walk and passed me an unbrella to borrow. Had breakfast and it was yummy.....a young man working in this area was so helpful as well and shared info about the area with us.

Service is not good, they are not friendly. Nobody smiles we forgot the wine opener and they will charge a fee which is reasonable but the fee was double of the price of the wine...first time I have been asked to pay a fee for requesting a wine to be open.

Wonderful two day stay in Fatima. Location of hotel was close to Shrine of Fatima and village home of the three shepherds. Next door to a swanky McDonalds and across the street from a very nice shop of regional items.

Super nice hotel with a trendy and uner comfortable lobby. Buffets were varied, tasty and abundant. I was driving and they have own parking. Can't say enought good about this place. Will definitely book again if I'm lucky to return in the future

Nice hotel with friendly staff. The room was rather small, but acceptable. The king sized bed was actually two twin beds pushed together, which was not comfortable.

Great stay close to the church

The hotel is conveniently located close to the church. The hotel was very clean, and I cannot say enough about how nice and accommodating the staffs were during my stay. Really good hot breakfast as well. I would definitely stay here again if I am back to Fatima!

Close to Shrine

Stayed only one night but good experience for cost and convenience. We booked there to be near Shrine and it was only 15 min walking distance. Staff very friendly and welcoming. We arrived on a Monday but many restaurants closed on that day in Portugal, but fortunately, a McD's was right next door. Pretty good, too! We did encounter a few ants in bathroom and in the bed, but they quickly came, changed the sheets, found where they were coming from, and quickly took care of the matter. Did not see any the rest of our stay. My mom and daughter, who had the room next door had no encounters with ants. Hotel recommended.

I like the hotel close to everything and the people are very accomodating

The hotel was fine. In fact , we decided to stay an extra day. The only downside was that it was not too centrally located.

Very nice hotel. The room was clean and comfortable,very well equipped.We enjoyed staying in this hotel, and compared to other hotels we stayed in Portugal, this one was our favorite. Very good breakfast included in the room price. Short distance from the bus station and about 10-15 mins walk to the shrine.

Close to Our Lady of Fatima Cathedral

Luna Fatima Hotel was located was centrally located to where ever we wanted to go. Breakfast in the morning were excellent great buffet enjoyed it very much. Traveling with my 2 daughters was very enjoyable they were so excited to find a shoe store across from the hotel that just before we left to Lisbon we had a great shopping spree. We will probably go there next year when I travel with my grand daughters.

I am visiting Portugal with my Mother. Took the train to Fatima. We came a bit early to Luna before check in and they were able to check us in sooner than expected! Great customer service! The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive to your needs. The lobby is always clean and smells good! The rooms were very clean as well and spacious, the beds and pillows were super soft! I slept like a baby. We had a living room and the bedroom. There was even a small balcony to see the view. Food for breakfast buffet was great too! They had eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, tea, juice, etc! And it was delicious. There's also a Mcdonald's next door. The Location was about a 15 minute walk to the Sanctuary of Fátima which wasn't bad at all. The neighborhood is safe, even walking around 11pm-midnight. Definitely recommend and am coming back!

This hotel was great value. The staff were very friendly ...and responsive to the one minor issue we reported. Bed was very comfortable, linens were nice. Breakfast was fine...lots of choice. Parking and wifi were free.

Helpful staff

The staff try to accommodate all requests and are quite knowledgeable. However, as a 4* hotel they should provide ironing facilities in each room. A pleasant stay - on the whole..

Basic hotel

Nice hotel, very friendly staff, basic English breakfast . It was cold at night and the heating did not work . It's a 20 min walk to the sanctuary /Fatima cathedral.

Absolutely Fantastic

The Luna Fatima Hotel is absolutely fantastic. My room was of great size, very, very comfortable and extremely clean and modern. The hotel itself was also very clean and the setting was homely. Breakfast was large and of great quality and all the staff were very helpful, accommodating and very friendly. Many of them like the three guys that run the restaurant and Miguel out the front will actually become your friend if you let them. And all the staff are wonderful. They are the backbone of the hotel. If something is not quite up to scratch or you need something, the minute you bring it to the staff's attention, it is tended too immediately. I could even leave money all over the room in plain view and not a euro would go missing. Visiting Fatima is like being on the door step of Heaven. The Luna Fatima Hotel compliments thr experience wonderfully.

Great value! Hotel is nice but does not rate a 4 star, more like a 3 star. Rooms were dated, but clean. Bathroom old, Very few people staying at the hotel, was a bit scary coming out into dark hallway when going to room. Internet did not work in rooms, but worked in the lobby. Lobby and sitting area very nice. Excellent wait staff, good food! The dinner buffet was a bit pricey.

Good for families who visit the Sanctuary

The hotel was very good. I have only one remark. I had spent the night on the plane Miami-Lisbon, and drove 90 minutes up to Fatima. My wife and I arrived at the hotel around 11:30 am, and were told that the room would only be available at 2 pm. I felt a little uncomfortable. But in general the hotel is very nice.

Great Stay

This hotel was great! The staff was really friendly and spoke English. The room was very clean, the breakfast was included, and was about an 8 min. walk from the Sanctuary. The village of Fatima is tiny, so any hotel in Fatima has a great location. The room was really cheap and the same quality as any Holiday Inn or Hampton in the States. I would definitely recomend it and go back.

Positivo: Relação qualidade/preço. Excelente bufett de pequeno almoço. Negativo: O quarto que nos foi atribuído não correspondeu ao quarto que nos foi reservado. Foi-nos atribuido um quarto adaptado para deficientes, de menor qualidade, com a desculpa de que o hotel estava cheio e não tinham mais nenhum disponível, o que não nos convenceu. O lavatório estava rebaixado, o que se torna extremamente desconfortável. O duche, separado do resto da superfície apenas por uma cortina, que nem vai até ao chão, origina que a água se espalhe por toda a superfície, tornando o quarto de banho muito escorregadio, o que pode provocar acidentes graves, As almofadas, extremamente moles e baixas, sem qualquer outra opção, o que nos tornou a noite muito desagradável.

Reserve y me coji media pensión con buffet,cuando llegamos el martes la cena fue de la carta y las bebidas aparte,el desayuno y cena del miércoles fue fuffet,pero con muy surtido ,no habías más que alubias para cenar y arroz,la habitación amplia y el baño muy bueno ,pero las camas ,los colchones muy blandos acabamos con dolor de espalda,alrededor solo hay un bar y carísimo.los camareros de noche quitándonos los platos rápido para acabar,los horarios de cenas poco flexibles,19:30 a 21:30,las únicas personas competentes las de recepción esas si fueron estupendas,volveré a Fátima ,pero a hotel luna ,nunca mas

Een avond hebben we in het restaurant van het hotel a la carte gegeten en dat was een tegenvaller, maar misschien hadden we ook het verkeerde gerecht gekozen? We waren met 7 personen en de algemene commentaar over het hotel was heel goed.

Pra um hotel 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐falta muito . Problema no banheiro com tampa do vaso sanitário quebrada, uma pessoa obesa não usa o vaso sanitário pq sem cima da pia . Saímos as 9hrs e voltamos as 16 hrs e o quarto sem ser arrumado. Reclamei na recepção e a recepcionista nós disse que agora as depois das 17 . Isso é falta de respeito com os hóspedes. Restaurante com talheres sujos e sem o mínimo de atenção com os clientes, no pequeno almoço a máquina de suco joga mais fora do copo e no chão do que no próprio suco . Não voltaria me hospedar mais nesse hotel .

Bonjour, je n'ai pas aimé le fait qu'il soit mentionné que l'établissement propose, même à titre payant, le transfert depuis l'aéroport de Lisbonne,alors que ce n'est pas le cas. C'est une fausse information, l'hôtel ne propose rien du tout. J'ai téléphoné avant de venir et ils m'ont proposé un taxi à environ 120 euros,(?) Je me suis débrouillée et j'ai trouvé une société de transport qui effectue la liaison pour 12-13 euros.
