I wouldnt recommend. Room dirty, dusty, with baby cockroach. Window cannot be opened, Stuffy, suffocated

The property has been recently renovated and the bedroom was of a good size and the hotel is within walking distance to the main touristic attractions in Penang. The room in each we stayed was in the left side of the hotel, and at 6.15 am in the morning we would wake up with the prayers at the mosque. Breakfast is continental style - you can order omelettes, scrambled eggs or fried eggs cooked to order, there's tea, coffee and orange juice available, a hot station with Asian style noodles and fried rice, sausages, toast and cereal.

Clean room and reasonable price.

Good locations. Rooms are too small, , wardrobe, tissue box. Only given only bath towel., shampoo, bath wash, hand wash and Bottled water. TV channels mostly Malay, no English channels.

The room was dirty on checking in. Floor, walls, bed sheets, pillow cases and bathroom were all dirty. It was pretty gross. We suspect there were also bed bugs as we felt quite itchy in bed and had red bite marks on our legs. We were only provided 2 towels for showering, no small hand towels. The walls are paper thin and we could hear everything outside and in adjacent rooms. The facilities were minimal and aircondition kept making noises whilst turned on.

It was overall a good experience, but I would have liked it better if they could have shared plates for the room.

The only negative were the bath towels. They smelled like they were smoked and with an odd smell to it.

Excellent location in terms of convenience to shops and food. Hotel staff is extremely polite and friendly. However, sound insulation is not the best both from hallway and next door. All in all, may consider depending on the price again.

Never again

Lost my hotel room card and admitted during check out. Was charged RM20 for it, which I didn’t mind since it was my fault I misplaced it. No receipt for that either. Handed the frontdesk staff a RM100 note. She returned me 20 pieces of RM1, and notes amounting to RM80 in total. When I asked what she meant by that, she took the notes back and handed me a RM20 note instead. The contempt in her response was disappointing. And I haven’t even started on the room.

Thankfully I only book for 1 night as the room was really small and had a bad stain on the bedsheet and the wall had bad moldy water mark when the hotel is claimed as refurbished. The car park is super narrow and small which I have no idea how a car park is being created that way.

Sound proofing is bad.. I think when is peak season.. can get all kinda noise from others room.. other then that, location is just too good

Good location at the city centre with easy access to many cafes, restaurants and bars.

A lot of improvements can be made. During our stay we got Magenta room and it’s not as spacious as in the picture on the website which is what I’d expected. The lobby was full with pile of towels and bedsheets. Parking lot is quite limited. Unfortunately when we wanted to have bath, the heater did not function well as the water wasn’t hot enough and my husband got fever but the front desk staff was at least willing to send a pail of hot water to us since there was no maintenance staff on duty. Hope they can improve it.

The hotel was nice and new. Good check-in process. Small but cosy room. The mattress was a little too firm for my liking but overall a good stay.

Improvement Required & Limited Parking Space

Clean hotel, but improvement required for the receptionist in the morning session during my checkout time. She don't even checked and refund my deposit until the time I remind her. This shouldn't happen as you should check all the details and info when dealing to your guest. And important point for those who drive there, the parking at the hotel area is very limited. we forced to park overnight at the open carpark opposite hotel which cost us rm30 per night.

The location of the property is good, within walking distance to many eateries and attraction. Traffic isn't heavy at this hotel.

Good value for the money. Food offered during breakfast is extremely limited to Malaysian food! No cheese at all for example!

The cafe had a very nice ambience, and was cosy. Good choice of food for buffet breakfast.

Location was very convenient for food & Heritage areas. Overall good value for money and will stay there again next time

Comfortable & Cosy Boutique Hotel

Hotel was new and clean, accessible location and they catered to a birthday surprise for my mum upon request. Friendly staff, always looking for feedback for improvement in all areas. It would be good if the breakfast mains can be changed on some days to provide more variety in choices. But do keep up the good work and keep striving for improvement!

We were backpackers . All the way frm southern travel by bus . We reach there early in the morning but few days before , i already make a phone call to get our early checkin , as the staff said , we could get our room at 11am . But then , we need to wait up to 2pm . i can tolerate with anything causes but i already make a phone call , i told them already . I know its holiday , but i called . I let your staff know , my time arrival , request early checkin as we are so tired . But nevermind . Pls dont do that again to your other customer . Everything was excellent , the room , hotel , thank you .

We booked a room with special request providing clean room. When we checked in, they gave us room number 213, and the room didn't clean up at all from previous guest ( we have proof) When we called the staff, they asked us to come down lobby instead of asking their staff to comfort us or accompany us for the incidents. They didn't apology at all (even after check out), and kept silent, gave us another room 111. We was so disappointed after few hours to arrive Penang with this welcome. We are looking forward that the staff should be more professional (please give them training - at least on how to say sorry to guest for the incidents) . The room's facilities are new, modern, automatically. Location is excellent. Overall, the hotel is excellent with the price. It would be greater if the staff know how to resolve the issue.

Perhaps it’s new, just opened in November 2019, the place is clean and what else? Looks new. The best thing about this place is its location. Close to most of the tourist spots and eating places. Walking distance ( just turn a corner) to Love Lane and Chulia Street. 15 mins walk to China House and to Komtar. And so many places are close. A great location. The property itself is functional, although small room, we only used the room to sleep anyway. Great place to chill out over a few days. Will stay again. Hope they can keep up with the cleanliness.

Brand new hotel with great location. All the staff were great, starting from front-desk, security, office-staff and restaurant staff. Hotel Manager went out of his way to meet and welcome us, which is rare. Good breakfast, side from not having black tea. Will definitely come back.

This is a newly open hotel. All items are new & good. -But the rain shower mounting was loose in both of our connecting room. -The hot shower system took longer time to heat up & the water heater tank capacity is small. Once the heated water in the tank used up , you will get cool water for shower. - Room sound proofing was bad. - Reception staffs efficiency & knowledge need to be improved

We love the feel and functionality of this room despite it being small. Location wise is perfect to venture out to the streets and alleyway. Top marks for the service especially the wonderful surprise on my birthday. Will definitely be back to enjoy more of it.

Very upscale premium economy hotel. Brand new We stayed at Cyan Street rooms connecting. The staffs were very helpful and Mr Jasvin the Hotel Manager was such a lovely man. We had great breakfast daily served. Chef Shahrul was great. The Front office lady Alyssa was always with her smiling face when you walk in and out of the hotel. Location of the hotel is the best as its walking distance ro various tourist attraction. Nearby to the famous Red Garden night market and food street.

El hotel y el servicio en general son muy buenos. Solo que las habitaciones son reducidas.

Overall it's good. Only one trivial thing might cause me inconvenient. The hotel room system or somewhat does not align. I have requested to change a room due to A/C is blowing to my bed while laying on the bed. After I changed the room, I got two phone call asked me to change the room as well as provide the current room number. The second call was happening while I was taking an afternoon nap.

Good stay

Comfortable bed, friendly reception. The only cons is the check in time, 3pm was a bit off. They should think about readjusting that rules.
