This is a gorgeous hotel, the rooms are beautiful and it’s right on the beach !

A beautifully quiet place to relax for a few days.

We had a lovely time Our room had a view of water and fireplace This was a good thing because the Great Room is not for sitting, reading etc only eating. We may retun to Middle Beach

Memorable stay !

We loved our stay and were so lucky with the weather. The room, food, walks on the beach, hot tub, etc all the amenities and service were impeccable!

Really nice place to stay when visiting Tofino. Right on the beach so the view is great. WiFi speed isn't the best, but it's adequate. A good restaurant with beach views on premises. It also has a free sauna room and hot tub access, which were a huge perk.

Absolutely amazing! Rooms are spacious and clean. Staff is friendly, going above and beyond to make sure your stay is enjoyable. Food is fresh and so delicious. Overall I can’t say enough good things about this resort. Highly recommend! You’ll love it here.

The only thing I wish was different, that I could see the ocean from the soaker tub. We will be returning 😄

Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was absolutely perfect. Picture views, well-maintained, landscaping, helpful staff, and just beautiful all around. Can’t wait to come back.

Major power outage occurred when we were there that lasted three days ( whole area out). Staff were helpful, amazing kitchen provided near normal Service during power outage. Better lanterns for the rooms would have been helpful.

Ahhh thank you so much to long beach resort and their staff! Such friendly & accomodating staff. Extremely clean resort… they had a major storm & had lost power & called us beforehand to let us know expectations. We had brunch, apres surf and dinner at The Great Room and it was all fantastic food. (As a vegetarian too!) love love loved our stay, we will be back!!!

Incredible location! we had an oceanview room, and it was a spectacular view. The staff were uniformly wonderful, helpful and friendly. Beautiful hotel, great restaurants, we would definitely stay here another time.

Staff was above and beyond. Beautiful and easy! It’s quiet and perfect for surfers. For all of my Americans, they don’t have AC and you won’t need it if you leave your doors open to sleep. When I visited it was 70 degrees which is a little hot for the first part of the night if you don’t open your windows and doors. Other than that, it’s perfect. Make sure you rent a car at the airport so you can drive around the island a bit. Otherwise you’ll be dependent on taxis and buses or walking/biking into town.

EV chargers on site. So so overall but given the location probs better than. 8 km from Tofino

Fabulous location , lovely room overlooking the beach - food excellent ( breakfast portions maybe a little too much - oatmeal ) . Staff excellent enjoyed our stay .

The stay at Cox Bay was great. The room facing the bay made our first trip to Tofino fantastic.

Love the place and will return sooner than later

I loved the coziness of the room with a fireplace, the sound of the crashing waves and the unbelievable view. All so calming.

Carla was amazing. My friend left her phone cord in our room. She called a few days later and Carla sent it to her.

Excellent West Coast Beach Resort!

Excellent resort with great rooms, service and food! Treat pets like true VIPs! Room opened up right to the beach!

Our stay exceeded our expectations from start to finish. The property is beautiful and tranquil. Every staff member we interacted with was courteous and helpful. We ate in the dining room on several occasions and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Loved the atmosphere of the resort and the view of the ocean from our room was amazing. Safe were always friendly and willing to help.

Loved this resort. My husband and I stayed in a bottom floor room, right on the beach. This would be particularly useful if you are surfing and had your board with you or you have a pet (we did not have either). If we stayed again I would prefer the 2nd or 3rd floor for enhanced views. The fireplace was nice as the weather wasn't great but it feels like you are tucked in safe and sound. The cable is NOT great - too few sections so we watched news on our phones. We would definitely recommend this place as the location on Cox beach is great, room was great, seamless check-in/out, wifi was great and service was great. Ate brunch/lunch at the restaurant in the resort - food was good and the service by Anusha was excellent.

Very nice hotel with amazing veiws. We had some rather large issues with their restaurant, but efforts were sort of made to compensate us and the hotel made efforts to apologize the following day.

Long Beach Lodge is classic west coast elegance. Every time my family stays here, it’s simply wonderful. Beautiful, amazing views, excellent customer service and overall perfection. Always love being a guest here.

Right on the ocean, view of the sunset, walks on the beach. What’s not to like? Fantastic.

Evan and Kiju did a great job in the Great room. Abraham kept our room clean and well supplied.

The view was spectacular. I loved the fireplace and the deep soaker tub. Top floor was a bonus. What i didnt like was that i couldn't connect my streaming services to the (rather limited) TV lineup. I could, however, buy movies at $20 a pop had i wished to do so.

Great lodge!

I paid for an upgraded ocean front room. I could not open door bc it was ground level and people walked by. I also could barely see ocean due to vegetation. Could hear people above me. Building next to me has light coming in. Was the worst room and not worth the cost.

The resort and staff are amazing.

Beautiful beach front view from the suite. Clean suite and kind housekeeping staff. Food from the dining hall and for room service was exceptional and fairly priced. However, there were issues getting connected to front desk and room service from the suite that room service had to be ordered in person at the restaurant.

A very warm welcome at check-in along with an upgrade to the penthouse made the entire stay perfect! I had fantastic meals in the Great Room and all of the staff were very friendly! I will definitely tell all of my contacts. Thank you LBL!

This special oasis of serenity is restorative. The only sounds are the waves and birds. No sirens, almost no engines. and, the staff are exceptional.

A great place to stay and enjoy nature. The staff were excellent and represented a variety of countries visiting and working in BC. To top it off, the meals were fantastic. Well done!!!

The resort is in a beautiful spot. The views are amazing and especially from the Great Room restaurant where the food was wonderful. We also had a surfing lesson with Sandra. A great vacation. We would definitely return again.

The lodge is located on a beautiful beach - not too crowded with opportunities to surf and walk. The restaurant is excellent and the staff there are very good. I would recommend booking a room facing the ocean or staying in one of the villas. Our room was very close to the kitchen and there was noise which woke us up at opening and closing time as well as unpleasant smells from the kitchen vent which came in to our room if we left the window open. Otherwise, the resort was lovely and I would go again (but book a different room).

Cool watching the surfers. Oliver was Bert attentive and pleasure to engage. Dinners were very good.

Great accessibility for my mobility impaired mom. Amazing forest townhouse made us feel secluded. Super surf rental staff. Can't think of one thing to improve.

We had an unfortunate experience checking in, but the staff at the hotel made up for it exponentially. They listened to our concerns and found ways to help us out. Such a great response!

Wonderful location and our room looked out to spectacular Cox Bay. It was quiet, clean, the fridge was large so we could store snacks and beverages They provided coffee, tea and chocolates on our arrival were delicious and the soaps and creams were lovely. The restaurant meals were exquisite! One suggestion, put a small table on the balcony to hold drinks and snacks while enjoying the view!

We liked everything about the hotel. Access to the beach the staff were so friendly and the food was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner in the dining room and we were very impressed. Every time we go to Tofino we stay at the Long beach Resort

Nestled amongst the west coast evergreens on the shoreline of Cox Bay, Long Beach Lodge is where one goes to walk slowly along the beach while surfers hang ten on frigid waves, eagles soar above, and the salty air rejuvenates your soul. If that’s not enough, well appointed cabins with hot tubs or lodge rooms with epic sunset views (if it’s sunny that is) await. There’s a reason why LBL is booked so far in advance and nearly sold out year round.

Great location right on the beach. Very comfortable bed and spacious room. Great view of ocean and beach from room and balcony. Close to Tofino.

Magnificent view from a beachfront room

It was an excellent 3-night stay. We had a beach front room on the 2nd floor, with open view of the beach and of course the sea. With the balcony door slightly open, the sound of the waves was really soothing. Our room was luxurious and very comfortable. The raincoats and umbrellas provided are a plus. We ate one at the Great Room. The portions were generous (and too big for us), not leaving us any room for dessert. We would have enjoyed the hot tub were it a bit closer to the main lodge (we don't like the idea of walking across the parking lot, rain or shine, in our robes), not a big deal though.

They had other rooms available for upgrade during our stay but gave us the noisiest one. Although they had warned us when we were checking in that it was our choice whether to take that noisy room as an upgrade or take what we had booked for. Later we saw almost the entire flower was vacant.

Amazing resort in fantastic location right on Cox Bay Beach. We stayed in the lodge with a partial ocean view and it was perfect. Super comfy beds, great staff and the restaurant is among the best in the area.

Overall wonderful experience. Excellent and courteous staff.

The location was great the food service was excellent but the room was noisy

We liked the staff a lot! They were so friendly and happy it seemed which made is think well of management! We were not happy that they cut our phone off in the early hours of when we supposed to check out and a few other things that we could tell them about? All in all it was a great experience - we went without any expectations!

Its a perfect location for a family. The only disappointment is that the kitchen is not equipped properly. Bring your own cereal bowls and knives (knives do not cut). We were here during the heat wave and the fans provided are very old and useless, do not put out any air.

It was great. We had an amazing view from our room. The surf lessons from the surf club were also great and we could surf right on Cox beach. Pettinger point is also special and is only 15 mins away. Thanks!

Amazing location and amenities. Was less than impressed with the cleanliness of my room. I understand some rooms allow dogs here which is fantastic. We did not have a dog and the throws and blankets in the room were covered in dog hair and human hair. Chips and crumbs still on the carpet still on arrival. Not a big deal to me but would expect better. At no point during the stay did I see any staff inside or outside regularly disinfecting surfaces. There is fire pits and chairs outside, railings, door handles ect. That should be regularly wiped down due to heavy usage. Would be comforting to see more cleaning especially since there is understandably no daily housekeeping. Unbeatable location, building and amenities are why I will certainly be returning! Overall the stay was memorable and insanely beautiful views!
