This was the best hotel stay I have ever been to. The hotel was beautiful, cozy and just lovely. All of the cute detail was amazing.
This hotel is phenomenal. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hung out at the Water Trough and had dinner. The ambience is amazing in there. Once we finished dinner, we sat in the courtyard by the fire pits playing Jenga. The room was fantastic and well stocked. No detail was missed. We will definitely be back and look forward to visiting other Valencia properties.
Make sure renovations are done
Cute novel stay. Great customer service. Noisy with repair work all day
It was a great experience
Love the decorations and vibes here, and the nightly music and fire pits to enjoy when weather is nice
Cute rustic decor, huge property with potential seating options. Many of the outdoor features were roped off and/or under construction which was disappointing. Very friendly staff.
Good
Lone Star Court
Interesting hotel. Good location for NW Austin. The Domain. Nice pool and grounds. Rooms are large and clean but kind of odd. I don't get the SMEG refrigerator in the room. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed and linens.
The staff and location were wonderful. Another great perk to this hotel was the coffee truck in the front parking lot. Construction hampered our experience because it was an eye sore and loud in the mornings. The blocked off walkways made navigating the property cumbersome and inconvenient. Our room was comfortable and had a great mini bar! the bathroom featured a barn door style siding door which is not ideal.
The Lone Star Court is a nice, friendly and great Austin hotel.
A delightful stay was a great experience for our group. Great community areas and activities helped foster connection. Also wonderful restaurants only a walking distance away. A little construction was going on while we were there, but nothing that diminished our good experience.
Great hospitality, wonderful hotel with nice garden area. Loved the live band, breakfast was good, bar very comfortable. Loved the hometown feel of snacks, Cracker Jack, and turquoise fridge in the room. Quite a walk from restaurants and bars but it’s walkable.
I like peace and tranquility of the property. I did not like that the beverages within the fridge was outdated. Spoke with front desk concerning this issue. Did not purchase any items because of that.
Great location and very comfortable stay
Our stay was perfect! The room was clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!
Okay. Wouldn’t stay again.
Staff friendly and efficient but room smaller damp and musty. Picked up room spray and hotel shop. Very loud with adults and children out enjoying the courtyard past midnight. Slept with bathroom fan on and AirPods in.
Convenient and overall very comfortable
The front desk person had an outstanding understanding of customer experience. She was welcoming, engaging and a problem solver. We were put in a room that had a water leak and mold on the ceiling. She quickly gave us another room and everything went well. The rooms are nice, the restaurant is really nice, with live music, and the location in the Domain is outstanding. A bit overpriced, but so is everything else in the Domain.
Great service
good
I chose this hotel based upon other experiences with the chain. I liked the property, but there is currently some light construction to public areas which has resulted in some clutter in the areas. Staff was excellent and walked me to my building at check-in, and room is comfortable, although i think i might have preferred a first floor room for less noise walking in the room. Great location and convenient for my visit.
I would love to come back to this hotel again, amazing staff and a very neat room, definitely memorable
I really enjoyed the Lone Star Court - definitely not your typical chain hotel. The rooms had creative and atypical decor, like a retro refrigerator. Very well equipped and comfortable. The courtyard is relaxing, with Adirondack chairs, fire pits, etc. Walking distance from shops and restaurants in the Domain. I would definitely choose this hotel again when I come to Austin.
Amazing
Amazing ! just start to finish the best experience
Amazing place. Will definitely be staying here next time when we’re in Austin.
Laid back comfortable place
Came for F1, very comfortable here, kind staff
Everything was perfect! What is particularly enjoyable is that the staff has always been welcoming for each of our stays We tried the restaurant and the drinks and the food were exceptional! To add, the rooms were impeccably clean and the refrigerator was stocked with all kinds of good stuff, but more so the room temperature was spot on.
Beautiful property with kind and helpful staff. Unfortunately there was MAJOR construction going on at the property. Jack hammers, dozens of workers, many areas closed and marked off with construction tape. I had to ask to be moved when I awoke to workers yelling over the Jack hammer sound outside my window. The staff were empathetic, but they obviously couldn’t stop the construction. They also had nothing to offer me to compensate for the poor experience. I paid full price for a beautiful and relaxing stay, and got a tense, loud, and messy experience. Then they sent me an email saying sorry, hope you come back! If they had also offered anything to make up for the experience (comp a free night? Drink coupons? Gift card to a local restaurant?-literally anything would have been welcome and would have changed my experience). I won’t be back.
Love this place and stay again and again. Good location close to Q2.
We stayed last weekend for our 34th Wedding Anniversary and let me tell you this place was amazing. From the moment when we got there and until we left was amazing. Thank you for the champagne in the room for us after I mentioned our anniversary. We had so much fun hanging out in the court yard playing corn hole and Jinga.
Positives-great location, plenty of food options and things to do, staff was so friendly and attentive, nice pool, offered corn hole and fire pit outside, food trucks right next to the property were a nice option to have. Negatives (that I think have potential for improvement)-we found roaches in our room, there was a snake on site that was slithering by the room doors, construction took away from the beauty of the property, lounge chair cushions at the pool had what looked like mold but there were towels placed over to cover this. I really do think this property has potential and would still give it another try to see if the overall experience could be better.
Reserved king online and upon checking in was told they only had two doubles for the same price. Loud banging sounds on the property all night.
Good hotel for a friend's trip
This would be a great hotel for a couple's weekend or a friend's trip. Not quite sure it was for business or family travel. Nothing was wrong, I did not have any issues. The entrance was not well marked, but maybe that is the look they are going for. It was dimly lit in the evening outdoors.
We loved this place. It was conveniently located. Lots to see and do around there. It has a great pool and the restaurant/bar was nice and had great food. We are already trying to think of another reason to stay here!
It was great, looks adorable, and staff were all so nice! Loved our stay, would definitely come back!
Liked the Beautiful grounds, safe, campfire evenings, the pool, big walk in shower, onsite restaurant. Didn’t care for crickets in room.
It is a beautiful property and makes you don’t feel like you’re in the city until you step out of the hotel grounds. The restaurant has great food and wonderful service. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Austin.
Love it! Always good to see Ms. Winnie in the restaurant. Also, daughter left expensive stuffed animal, and house keeping returned it to office where we picked it up on our next trip to Austin. Definitely our favorite place! Keep up the great work!
It's Perfect
Our fifth stay. We stay at Lone Star as our getaway, which is only an hour away from our house. It is perfect. We love it. Thank you.
Relaxing

My stay was amazing. The property Manager and Front Desk personnel were all very nice . Don’t forget to say “hello” to Whiskey.
Everything was good, the rooms are clean and spacious.
The cutest space ever for couples or families. We brought our 5 yr old and he loved the atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to be back if we pass through Austin again!
Perfectly nice building and staff. Location next to a giant mall is not for me.
The property is nice and the room was clean and comfortable. My issue occurred when a large loud group gathered around the pool and didn’t leave until 1:45 am. I heard someone ask the group to keep it down around 12:30 and they just continued. I tried to reach the front desk and all I got was the corporate office and they were not able to help. We paid $240 for this one night and not being able to get to sleep and no one to ask who could have addressed the problem is unacceptable. I said something when checking out and was given an “I’m sorry” and that was about it. If you stay here, ask to be as far away as possible from the pool area and stay upstairs. Very disappointing.
Really cool property. Would seek this one out again
Cute Texas themed property, clean with a retro air. Great community area!
A nice property but falls short in other areas
There’s no denying the property is pretty cool. But in my opinion that doesn’t overcome their shortcomings. Our first room wouldn’t cool down. ACs break, and I wouldn’t ding someone for just that. But the maintenance guy tried to pull the “it’s hot outside so it’s actually working” song and dance. But I’ve lived in southeast Texas for 44 years, and I know what a working AC can do. When they agreed to move us to the room next door, the temperature magically dropped 7 degrees. Parking is an issue. It seems like people using other areas in the Domain use their parking, so we had to end up parking at the opposite side of the property from our room. They need to enforce their parking policy and towing to make sure that paying guests have enough space to park. Finally, some guests take advantage of the courtyard to overindulge in alcohol and get loud and stupid. It was loud outside our room until well past our normal bedtime, making it difficult to fall asleep.
Love this place! Will definitely be going back!!
Starters, The Staff was amazing and friendly, exceptional customer service. the rooms were amazing, clean and absolutely cool. The retro look was like a step back in time, and the room amenities was spot on, from the 50's style fridge tthat was fully stocked with drinks for every taste, to the funky lamp shade hanging from the ceiling. The food and drinks at the restaurant was spot on good. The highlight of our eating experience was meeting Miss Winnie in the morning at breakfast, she was a wonderful person to us and loves her job there, not sure what they pay her, but its probably not enough. We will most definitely stay here again when we find ourselves in the Austin area
Pool The rooms The beds are so comfortable The staff was friendly
Everything was great about the hotel and the service. But a fire alarm at 1:00am and didn't stop until 2:30. No good.
This place is very “Austin”. Unique, retro, comfortable, casual. Great location, easy check-in and parking.
Such a fun and unique property!
Love this place soooo much! The staff is amazing, it’s pet friendly, and everything about the rooms and property are awesome. Highly recommend! And there’s a chocolate lab who acts as the resident concierge! I’m in heaven here!
The cutest, dog friendly boutique hotel in the middle of walkable shopping!
Really charming, well-conceived, upscale "vintage motor court" themed boutique hotel; room was very comfortable, well appointed, and cute. The landscaping, central courtyard area, and pool are beautiful, and there are all kinds of good eats within walking distance -- including some food trucks parked on the grounds of the hotel. This hotel is pet friendly, and has lots of shade, nearby, and a dedicated un-enclosed lawn on the backside of the hotel with pet waste bag stands where you can walk your dog so they can do their business, which was handy. Hotel staff was very nice when we checked in, and gave us a ground floor room, since we were traveling with a pet. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom linens were good quality. Other things we liked about the room: cute vintage tile, roomy shower, and boutique toiletries in eco-friendly pumps in the bathroom. There was also a retro style "full" size refrigerator (full of a crazy amount of mini bar goodies available for purchase), which we found handy for storing our own beers and fizzy drinks, and inside the fridge -- behold! -- a freezer section with two sealed bags of ice! We'll definitely consider staying at this hotel again on another Austin trip, and we plan on checking out other properties by this hotel group in other cities.
Adorable motel that takes you back in time. Would definitely stay here again!
Loved the hotel and location. Will be back!
Amazing overall experience except the bald night shift receptionist is the worst staff I encountered all trip, just horrible. Asked him politely for some items and he refused even though we still had some time before quiet hours, I flew my mother in law from Mexico and we were only there for 2 nights so definitely limited our experience just because he “felt like it” other than him everything in my stay was perfect.
Great for a weekend
Love this hotel, the grounds are beautiful and very well maintained!
If you are questioning booking at Lone Star Court, just do it! Our 4-night stay was fabulous. The check-in was seamless and the customer service was exceptional. Each encounter with the front desk was polite, professional, and beyond superb. The hotel itself deserves more credit than the photos show. Beautiful landscaping, amenities, and overall experience away from the hustle and bustle of downtown but still conveniently located near restaurants and shopping. Free parking in Austin? You can’t beat that either! The pool is small but even over a holiday weekend it was not busy and crowded. We only went to the bar at the Water Trough, but the bartender was sweet and we felt so welcomed even though they had just opened. Even the service team members and housekeepers are friendly and acknowledge you with kindness. The food trucks on site are definitely a plus too! We also recommend their other properties Valencia at The San Antonio River Walk & Texican Court in Irving. We have stayed at both and had no idea they were sister communities. Thank you for a wonderful stay Lone Star Court team!
Charming, pet friendly, nice on-site pool and restaurant.
Secluded and Friendly
Great place to stay in the Domain! Feels secluded while also being surrounded by the Domain vibe. You'll enjoy your stay.
Relaxing and quiet
Definitely will stay again!
This is one of the best, maybe THE best hotel overall. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Very clean. Beautiful indoors and outdoors. Food is excellent and the music on the weekend made our stay that much more exciting!
Lovely Gem!
I absolutely love this little hidden gem. I finally got to enjoy with my boyfriend and he loved it as well. When I’m in Austin it’s the only place I want to stay!
Perfect stay to attend an event in Q2 Staff is great, helpful Eating in the hotel (breakfasted) was convenient
Fun property beautifully landscaped and themed. Rooms were very clean and everyone was friendly
This place was beyond cute. The pool was refreshing and the property perks are a plus! The staff was so kind and was able to accompany date all of our needs. Would definitely go back. Glad we found this little gem.
This is a hidden gem! Cute rooms, and well thought out outdoor area. Onsite restaurant & bar with live music in the evening had me staying in instead of venturing downtown! Definitely plan on coming back!
Cool hotel, helpful staff, great restaurant, will definitely stay again.
Disney level service! Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay amazing and it was. We were in town for a special girls trip with my 7 year old niece and she loved it. The pool was great, the poolside service was chef's kiss. The room and beds were super comfy. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. All the tables outside were so convenient and the games kept us entertained. The s'mores made us the greatest aunts ever.
Literally saved our trip!
We booked our stay super last minute due our previously booked hotel not having any rooms. Anyway, this place saved our trip. The service, amenities, the pool and rooms were all top notch. We had such a fun time as a family. We can’t wait to come back!
The property was amazing! I just wish they had a larger swimming pool or an adult pool!
Went for a mountain bike trip and was able to check out at 4pm. Amazing time close to everything.
Property was beautiful and quiet in a chaotic place. Very relaxing and easy parking for hotel
Family Friendly.
The second time stay was better than the first. The staff were very friendly and gave us a tour (first time they didn’t). The place is definitely more guided towards families so if you want a romantic giveaway I will say this isn’t the best unless you’re okay with kids. I do love the fact it is pet-friendly. I would book again.
Great place
Right On….
We discovered a hidden gem when we stayed at the Lone Star Court. The staff were simply amazing, the service provided by the staff, was right on point, the hospitality, you name it, and we have officially discovered a favorite place to stay next time.
Really Fun place to stay . Great staff and many activities on site .
Beautiful property
I loved this bite, my favorite so far that I’ve ever stayed at.
Great stay!
Texas experience
It is nice to look out the window at green grass instead of a parking lot or a building. A unique place for sure!
Overall it was an Ok experience. The first night, we came back to the room and the AC was not working. They moved us to another room, the fridge was not working. The 3rd room was fine except at night. It seemed like the AC would turn off during the night. It also felt like when it was running, it wouldn’t get cold enough. The cleanliness was great, the staff was also really nice. Overall, it was a really nice hotel and would recommend it as long as you don’t have issues with the room.
I liked how vintage everything was. It made it a unique experience. I got charged some kind of food fee even though I never order or got food at the hotel.
Our stay was amazing! Wonderful memories made. The staff was so nice and helpful!
Amazing stay in Austin
We had a great stay at Lone Star Court. We have stayed at another Valencia property in Irving and were very impressed so decided to try this one out. You are in the middle of a shopping district but feel like you are somewhere in the mountains. It's very serene and peaceful. We enjoyed the pool and other amenities such as the sitting areas/fire pits. The restaurant and bar are a great option as well. You don't even have to leave if you don't want! We will be back and are looking into trying out their other properties in other cities.
.
It’s the cutest little thing
Great place to stay especially if you have kids.
Cool place
I have never stayed with Lone Star Court before but it was a very unique experience due to the retro-modern design of the hotel. I loved it! The location in The Domain is also very convenient and close to everything.
Very nice place
check in staff was friendly. fun outdoors space with firepit for hanging out. rooms were ok. floors weren't super clean.
Everything

I ended up staying at Lone Star Court on a whim, and I am so happy to have found such a gem! This place is perfect; you can tell they care about every last detail, ensuring you have the best stay.

Music
It was a good stay the only issue was they have a hangout area outside that played music till 1100PM every night. Not a fan at my age i guess
