Bed bugs and no refunds!
Horrible place! Beware! When yoy open the door, you can tell immediately that they don't clean this place enough. I've stayed at some nasty places in London but this takes the price! Got into the room, looked nothing like the images. Immediately put bags in bathroom to check out the bed. Found bed bug droppings, although I think they've been vaccuuming the mattress in attempts to hide it. The mattress was also very unclean. Of course, no refunds. So save yourself a headache and don't book this place!
Very easy way to book in / check out. Really good size for what i paid just a cpl of issues. being the digital tv box didn't work and the oven didn't have any shelves to cook on. Really handy for queens park tube, great pub at the top of the road. For just over £100 for 2 nights in London cant complain
It wasn't wonderful
My stay at the London Queens Apartments has been positive. I called the Host to ask for further information & he sent me all the information to check in. The host also greeted me & helped me with the door code. I entered the building & was delighted by the room on the ground floor. It was lovely & warm, ready for me to relax. The cleaner was friendly, kept the place looking clean, tidy & smelling good, she was very pleasant. During my stay, I had access to laundry appliances which was extremely helpful to me as I am relocating & needed this service. The guests were also lovely, patient with me using the washer, freindly & courteous. I am happy with my stay at the Queens Apartments, unfortunately I was racially profiled & verbally abused by a neighbour who lives opposite the public gardens. This made me feel awful & I had to report the incident to the Police due to feeling unsafe outside of the apartment. This ruined my mood this weekend, but I'm still grateful for my pleasant experience overall. Thank you!
Rundown and in a state of general disrepair. I would not recommend this property to anyone. Nothing like the pictures on Expedia. I spent 20 minutes cleaning the disgusting built up sticky grime from the TV remote controls. Damp, dirty and dismal, with mould and peeling paint. The worst accommodation that I have ever had the displeasure of staying in.
The front door was in a state of disrepair with visible holes in it. The door to my room was intact but could easily be broken into. I arrived around 8pm and my room was on the ground floor, the door to my room was wide open and a window inside the room was also wide open. I could not lock the window once I shut it. The room itself was very dingy and shabby and not at all like the one photos, although it was clean. I stayed for about 30 mins before reconsidering my options, leaving and going to a Marriott in Maida Vale (at considerable expense) Avoid
For one person flew a few nights this was good. The towels and bedding were very clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was very practical. It did need some freshening up with the paint and shower doors as well as one of the windows but over all it was ok. Close to tube and nice places to eat. Manager was super friendly as were the guests. Still better than some air b n b I have stayed at!
Really comfortable stay. Nice room with everything you’d need. Check-in/out very easy - no hassle. Thanks!
cheap, affordable and a decent stay
a great cheap place to stay, wasnt too clean but clean enough, great speedy wifi, and working tv that had some good channels and netflix. me and my friends enjoyed the stay, it was good for the amount we paid. would definitely book again.
I would like to make a complaint this apartment 1 is misleading not discribe as it is I wouldn’t off paid for this if I known it this horrible and overpriced for what it’s it more off a Besit 1 star The room was not like the pictures the room wasn’t upto cleaned standard the room wasn’t bathroom en-suite The mirror was cracked The door didn’t locked properly The bed was dusty flys in the room There was machine noises throughout the day and night A lot off banging and noises Was impossible to sleep.
Contrary to the photos, the room was different Broken mirror, broken wardrobe Facilities in the room was minimal and old No extra blanket No control of heating and the room was very cold as windows were open
literally the worst accommodation ever
The external access to the property has poor security and could easily have been breached. Upon entrance the apartment it had an overwhelming smell of smoke. This was very off putting and as one of our party has chronic lung disease this was very concerning. Looking around the apartment we were disappointed with the general state of the accommodation, the décor was of a very poor standard including a number of things hanging off the walls, including the television bracket, the extractor fan in the bathroom and a cracked mirror in the bedroom. The bedroom door did not shut and the paint work was universally chipped and badly patched up. There was no ventilation for the bedroom as no windows opened. The sheets were stained with what we can only assume to be blood? The emergency exits were blocked as a settee was placed in front of the door. A radiator behind the headboard made the heating uncontrollable and inaccessible and due to its position it caused us both to wake with headaches. The photos on Hotels.com are clearly of better rooms or old photos, literally the worst accommodation we’ve ever had the misfortune of stopping in.
Great stay in London near Queen’s Park Underground
We stayed 2 nights in this apartment for 5. It’s in good location 5 mins walk to Queen’s Park underground and can take bus to Lanbroke Grove near Portobello Market or Westfields at White City. Apartment is old but good stay for quick London trip. Bathroom roof is low but ok for us. Hot shower is working but no hot water in tap. Apartment was short of towels and bedsheets but when contacted, it was promptly sent to us. Overall is a good stay for this price. Nearby food, M&S and Sainbury available.
Pros: Good value for money and location. Cons: The condition is becoming a little tired and could do with a refresh.
Was a nice and quiet place and good to have a nice garden next to my room The manager was very kind with us Good connection with transport 5 minutes by walk you find the tuve and overground
Room location was cool during heat wave. The room was tiny and under furnished for the money
Very noisy, could hear people in the lobby and guests above our room. Bathroom was tiny and bed was too hard.
The place did not have any resemblance to the photos on the website. Very outdated furniture and very uncomfortable bed. No tea or coffee available in the apartment.
Property was better than I was expecting based on the pictures, but could do with some maintenance
amazing quiet place for students to get away and study but equally has amazing opportunities of transport to zip around London any time. Would recommend
Two nights at this place, never again. Banging on the front door after midnight, arguing, fighting in the foyer. This place is more like a halfway house/refuge than a hotel. The police were called to the place, the manager had to come out and Chuck someone out after the fighting. Left my key after the first night so the room could be cleaned, it wasn’t done, bed not changed, towels not changed, had to get a used towel out if the shower and dry it on the back of the door to use on the second night. There’s no reception, you are given a code for the front door. When the toilet in the upstairs room is flushed or the sink used, the noise downstairs is horrendous. Why does everyone in the building decide to start going in and out after midnight banging doors?? Would not stay here if you paid me!!
Perfect very good area central highly recommended
Do not stay there.
Terrible, horrible raggedy house w/horrible dated, filthy rooms, walls, bedding, furniture, all in disgusting condition.

Nice and cosy apartment. Price was very reasonable too even for booking it few days beforehand. I was given instructions on how to get In, the morning of the day I was meant to get there. The manager was really helpful. There is parking nearby for the whole day it cost me £7.70 which is reasonable. Nice food places too for delivery. Will stay here again
A nice stay
I stayed in a triple room with a private bathroom with my family for ten nights. Very easy check-in and check-out as everyone said! Kind people with nice personalities! Quiet place and clean rooms! It has everything as if you were at home.. a microwave, a washing machine, a toaster, a stove, a good hairdryer, and a very good wi-fi connection! It is in a safe location in west London and there are many shops nearby and a park. Would definitely go there again! There are two negative things: you cannot have a bath because you cannot adjust the water temperature properly of the shower and the sink tap, and you have to hold your luggage upstairs because there is no elevators! Had to say that because some people need it!
Good location and price but I wouldn’t return.
The room I stayed in is in need of a deep clean and maintenance work, there is no door on the shower, mould on the walls and the skirting boards and edges of the floor were filthy. I have a mould allergy so spent most of my stay feeling very unwell. I didn’t feel safe during my stay. The front door is always open, even in the middle of the night, and the rooms are only locked with a very basic key that isn’t very secure. One night the whole building was woken up just before 4am by a man running up and down the stairs screaming and shouting. He eventually set the alarm off and the police came. Not sure if he was a resident or a random off the street who got in through the open front door. I was too scared to leave my room to find out. After that I ended up sleeping on a friend’s couch for the rest of my time in London and just using the apartment to shower/change and store my luggage.
Last floor, low ceiling, no lift.
We were not lucky, they put us in a last floor apartment, mansarda with very low ceiling, from 1,4 meters in the bathroom to max 2 meters in the living room. 3th floor without lift, not the best accomodation if you are taller than 190cm and you have kids and luggages.
Overall - good room for the price.
If you are OK with a room that is a bit rough around the edges but has the basic facilities, is decently priced and has a quite good location, go ahead and book this place. + Its close to Queens Park underground station on Bakerloo line that takes you to popular places like Oxford Circus. + The area is good with a few restaurants and shops. + The landlord was really nice. We forgot our EU to UK adaptor and asked if he had a spare one which he did and left in our room when we got there. Additionally, the cleaning lady gave us an extra heater because the room was quite cold. - The main negative thing was the shower which was quite unclean with a lot of lime scaling. But I guess that varies depending on what room you get (seems like an easy fix though..
Was nice and clean. Small room but it’s all you need !
The accommodation was basic but comfortable and very well equipped, especially with kitchen equipment. Check-in was swift and easy, and the host was very friendly.
Good value, friendly service, clean and comfy stay
Spent the night as was visiting family in the area. Received a Whatsapp with check in information, found a room that was clean and prepped, equipped with all you'd expect. Kitchenette was not needed for this stay but the fan was appreciated. Clean towels and bedding, a desk for working at, a TV, and full shower - amazing for the price. Also left my jacket when I left and the caretaker was very helpful in enabling me to retrieve it. Great value, friendly service, clean and comfortable. What more would you want?
Clean, quiet and comfortable.
Excellent place to stay, good location, great apartment. Clean, quiet and comfortable.
Room rather small and spartan but then you cannot expect very much given the cost.
The place is lovely clean and comfortable Surprised it contained cooker kettle stove You can live here I would request others to stay And I will return.
the room was way to small for three adults and didn't look anything like the picture. Also the neighborhood was dirty and our room had alot of little flying bugs(don't specifically know what kind). The manager was helpful and pleasant, which was the only positive thing I can say.
Great area, large and mostly functional studio
I was looking for a place to stay with a friend just for one night, and the fact that this was a studio was definitely a bonus in the case we wanted to cook. ] Positive: The owner was very good at communicating and check in was seamless The studio was quite large The area was great, and convenient to the Tube stop Bed was comfortable Negative: The place was a bit run-down/had clearly seen better days The TV must have had bad reception, because it constantly flickered in and out and made odd loud noises
Great value for the location.
Great value for money and a short 2-3 minute walk to Queen’s Park tube station
Nice people but the shower only spat out cold and the blind didn’t work properly. Okay if all you need is a bed and you’re not going to be spending much time there.
Okay stay
Pretty clean, could do with a redo on the outside to make it look nicer, and too add a sign to make it clearer where you are. Less than a 5 minute walk to tube and a couple shops. Electric was abit of terrible when trying to cook.
Good bed, Great to have an oven! All in all, a well priced service
Queens Apts - Victorian converted terraced house
Prior to arriving Mahir confirmed that the granite archway & black Victoria railings WERE the front of the apartment block. WRONG! It was a converted Victorian terraced house that was locked on my arrival and Mahir arrived 10 mins later after phoning him from another location. I arrived later than planned because my plane was delayed but Mahir showed me my apt with great speed and couldn't get out of the apt quick enough. Room was fine but felt cheated and it cause a lot of confusion regarding the façade because I had told several different friends to collect me at different times and nobody could find the "Arch" entrance.
Ok place
Apartment itself was pretty clean and no problems although could do with a dusting. Entrance hall and foyer are a little dated. Overall though it's good. Close to tube station and shops/restaurants. Would stay again
Accessible to everything
Very convenient place to stay. Accessible to shops, restaurants, pubs and transportation. Will definitely stay here again.
Overall great location and secure rooms. Would have liked to be able to turn the heating down and the kettle needed descaling though.
Fine for a night or two. Fairly random as it feels more like a room to rent in somebody's house than an 'apartment'. However it was comfortable and had everything required. Close to Queens Park over/underground station and some pubs and restaurants in the vicinity. No hassles checking in or leaving. Clean enough- but not pristine.
Room was clean and big enough for the two of us. Kitchen facilities much more than expected although we didn't use them apart from the kettle. Toilet and shower quite small. Shower too high for a short person to operate and the water flow weak.
Decent studio
Decent sized room, bed very comfortable, kitchenette equipped for a short stay - would’ve alleviated some basics like tea bags and milk
Fantastic little find.
Fantastic little find this apartment. 5 mins from the tube station and could not have asked for more.
Great place.
Decent area but very close to the tube to get to town. Great place and the host was very nice.
