Perfect stay.

Fabulous Guesthouse. Stayed one night on our way to the Kruger. Very clean, comfortable and well appointed rooms. Lots of little extras. Excellent breakfast. Quiet and great views over the city.Highly recommend.

Would go again--but ask for a different room.

Great place, great breakfast and restaurant next door (same compound). Ask for a room away from the main road. It was loud in the morning.

Great location

Lourie's Call is located in a lovely part of town that provides easy access to town and still feels like it is secluded and away from the town center. The facilities are clean and comfortable and the staff is very helpful. This is our regular stop over to Kruger Park.

Poor 2 star experience

The main issue was either the hotel or hotel.com fault. We arrived at approx 2pm on 1st Jan from UK, long flight and long drive from Johannesburg. On arrival we found very much to our surprise absolutely no service available, no drinks, although there was a mini bar in the room, no pool service, nothing at all available to eat, not even an offer of a sandwich. The receptionist advised we could go to a nearby restaurant but that was closed too. On top of this our executive room aircon was very ineffective, reported, but no one bothered. The room decor was fine, bathroom and shower area could be looked at as this was looking a bit old. Bed and linen was good. Breakfast on the 2nd was very good although its very much a find out yourself experience as we were not informed there was a hot choice and everyone was helping themselves to the buffet food but after 10 minutes we saw a hot plate of food being served to one guest. Swimming pool was not heated but the area was in good condition. I wont return personally but i would have liked to experience the hotel on a non public holiday. Also i wont use hotels.com anymore, they should have informed us that no hotel facilities were available.

The property is unique in it's presentation. The room we stayed in was superb and had great views from the balcony. Most importantly, the service and friendliness of the staff was simply outstanding

Loeries Call Guest House was a lovely 3 night stay. My room was beautiful. It had a balcony with a lovely mountain view. The bed was comfortable, room clean, and a wonderful rainfall shower. The place is very quiet and I felt very safe. I ate at the Orange restaurant and the food was amazing. Excellent! The service was awesome! I travel a lot and this place I will remember. When I come back to this area, I will stay again. I highly recommend staying if you are in the area.

This is a very nice place to stay. I have only excellent things to say. My room was beautiful. I had a patio with chairs with an awesome view. The bed was very comfortable. The TV had lots of channels to choose from. I loved the rain shower, it felt so good. The Orange restaurant was amazing, service and food. The breakfast was also excellent. I highly recommend this guest house. I will surely stay again if I am in this area.

The stay was excellent and staff extremely well trained and friendly. Rooms are very well fitted and comfortable. Breakfast is excellent and the views great, Orange restaurant on site very nice also.

We spent 2 nights here and what a beautiful location on top of a hill overlooking the city! The gardens are wonderfully established and so respectful of nature and the service is fantastic! We will return here!

The hotel is wonderful and all the staff rallied round to help us when we were mugged. All our money, credit cards, cell, camera equipment and passports were stolen. The hotel let us stay longer than planned and helped every step of the way. It’s also a beautiful place to stay.

Spent 5 wonderful days there. Excellent all-round. Just ironic the the WiFi signal is unbearably weak in the so-called Executive Room ...

A pretty sweet small hotel on Cliffside over looking Nelspruit. Easy to park, gated, easy check in, lovely rooms. Little personal touches, comfortable beds and sheets, comfortable bathroom, little perks like a hand mirror to see the back of hair, herbs on towels, an evening snack and fold down service. Thought the breakfast was wonderful with fresh cut up fruit, granola, pancakes, and menu of the day, all included with room. Stayed there twice now. One of our favorites on our vacation.

Wonderful sta

It was wonderful. The setting was beautiful. The staff were super friendly and efficient. The lovely lounge next to the pool was a great feature. The rooms were large and comfortable.

Fabulous stop to or from Kruger

Our stay at Loeries was fantastic from beginning to end, a warm welcome, complimentary glass of wine (soft drinks available but why would you). Wonderful balconied bedroom accomodation with views over Nelspruit, there was a pool available in immaculate garden surroundings and a softly furnished Lapa to relax in. Breakfast was taken on the outdoor patio in the garden and completed a wonderful stay.

Fantastic B&B. Will be back and will happily recommend a stay here. The restaurant on the property was also fantastic.

Made my stay in Nelspruit an amazing experience

This property feels like a 5 star hotel. Modern, extremely clean, attention to detail fantastic. Hotel has a restaurant on the property ("Orange"), great yummy food/dinners for the price at least 1/3 to 1/2 less what I would pay here in Canada or US. Lady at front desk (Pauline I think was her name) readily arranged for us 2 day overnight Kruger park safari trip at a good price - I tried to research it before leaving home/CND, but with so many choices I felt overwhelmed and decided to leave it when we check in the hotel, and I wasn't disappointed.

Best accommodation in Mbombela

We had a fantastic one night stay at Loeries Call. Just wish we could have spent more time there. I can' t recommend this guest house too highly- it lived up to its reputation as the best place to stay in Mbombela. I would suggest to anyone looking to spend some time in and around Mbombela --stay here!

Luxury & Frank

Our most comfortable and luxurious accommodation in 28 days touring South Africa, shame we only had one night! Boutique hotel atmosphere with décor and furnishings appropriately matching. Lovely pool but just a little too early in the season to enjoy it. Nice meal at on site Orange restaurant and lovely "al fresco breakfast" with lovely choice of food. Attentive breakfast hosts - and Frank! Highly recommended.

Excellent Guesthouse

We were very surprised to see how nice Loerie's Call Guesthouse was. It was simply a stop over after our time at Kruger National Park before heading back to JNB for our long flight home. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable and had an amazing little terrace with a wonderful view. Breakfast in the morning was the usual meats and cheeses with an additional hot item. The onsite restaurant also had incredible views and a wonderful atmosphere. Excellent all-around.

Consistent good service

We have stayed here a few times before and the service is always good, which makes us happy returning customers. The rooms, linen and towels are always clean and fresh, and the views are excellent. It is also very convenient to have a restaurant right next to the guesthouse.

EXTREMELY STYLISH B&B

Loerie's Call is an extremely stylish B&B and we had a very comfortable stay there. We had no major criticisms during our stay although it was very impersonal compared to every other B&B that we stayed at during our trip to South Africa. Also, we were a little surprised to find that there was only a single (rather pretentious) hot breakfast. Whilst it was very nice and very well presented I would rather have had simple bacon and eggs!
