very clean and amazing room. The rooftop bar has amazing cocktails and the staff is very generous. I highly recommend this place if you are a single traveler, with friends, or even with family. Overall amazing!

Everything about this hotel was perfection. From the location, to the service, the size of the room and how comfortable they are. I'd highly recommend staying here and will be back again.

Bathroom wasn't perfectly clean sadly, as well as surfaces in the room. The executive twin was spacious with a river view. The staff hardly spoke any english, so it was a bit hard to communicate via translating app. All in all a good hotel in walkable distance of Beijing Road.

The television is completely off. Most TV programmes are either blur and distorted or not working at all. Staff are polite and courteous. Beijing road is supposedly near, but the shopping strip of Beijing road is at the other end. Be prepared to walk at least for 20 mins to reach.

The location is nice near the river and offers great view if you have one of those rooms. Walkable distance to many of the attractions in the area. The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside but offer very comfortable rooms and services within. Not your usual hotel experience. The bathroom out of the shower is very slippery and easy to fall if not careful, otherwise a great stay for people who like to be in the area.

Overall ok stay and fair value for money. I would stay again if they improve the cleaning and maintenance. Pros: The staff were very helpful and welcoming. They all spoke good English and can accept international card payments. It is very conveniently located. Towels were plush. Cons: The property is not well maintained. We stayed for 4 days, while our towels were changed daily, our bedding wasn’t changed for the entire stay. The attending to detail could be better. Mini fridge had sticky residue, crisp packet found behind the curtains.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the overall environment was tidy and well-maintained. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making me feel very welcome throughout my stay. The hotel's central location made it perfect for exploring the city on foot, and I felt safe walking around the area. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed our hotel, staff are lovely and attentive. Our room was clean and spacious, the only problem was the Wi-Fi was a bit slow. The WiFi is a bit tempermental.

It’s quiet. Earlier reviews about the bar on top of the hotel and the neighborhood doesn’t apply to me - I had a very sound sleep every night. They have a fantastic craft beer bar round the corner - excellent for a nightcap. Room is spacious and staff is accommodating.

One Night in Guangzhou

LN Five was a wonderful stay. The staff was very professional and accommodating. We got a really nice room that was more than big enough for two people. The view of Peal River was so nice. The walk to Beijing road was very close. I felt refreshed and regret being only able to stay here for one night.

Though it's a boutique hotel, the rooms are fairly big.

I was impressed by the warm reception from all the hotel staff, including the manager and all the staff. Which prompted me to extend my reservation until the end of my stay in Guangzhou

Superb hotel with 6* Service

Wow - Such a great place to stay, Ben and his team were super helpful and could not do enough for us - Brilliant service a real credit to the hotel industry - Hotel has great position by the river, and position overall. The band on the roof terrace were great too - We loved the stay here and are re-booking for October we would not stay anywhere else whilst in Gunagzhou- Thank you Ben and the team for all your help and look forward to coming back in October.

Unique room with glass divider was visually appealing. Noise from nightclub across the street was disappointing. (LN Hotel 5 smartly provided ear plugs.) Superb service.

Guangzhou's finest boutique hotel

Without a doubt, my favorite boutique hotel in China -- maybe the world. It is small, quaint and extremely charming. The entire staff makes me feel at home and like their most special guest. I wouldnt stay anywhere else in Guangzhou. The hotel only has 21 rooms and each one is unique. I recommend having one on the 6th floor for the best view of the Pearl River. The rooftop bar is delightful in a spectacular setting overlooking the river. The restaurant serves a good breakfast and I highly recommend the restaurant for a fine Cantonese dinner. Each dish is beautifully presented and made with the freshest ingredients. The chef is a highly acclaimed Cantonese chef. They also have a shuttle for the Canton Fair. A short walk to Beijing Road for shopping. Cudos to the entire team: Sandy and Randy as managers are so helpful and welcoming, Naomi, Anne, Michael, Frances, Vivian, Zoe & Sai always greet you with a smile and willingness to help with anything.

Thoroughly pleased, and I can be picky

What we liked most about this stay was the incredible hospitality of Naomi and Randye. Within one day we felt completely at home and we loved our room, the location and the small intimate feeling of this boutique hotel. I have been to GZ more than 25 times and stayed at many hotels. This is the one for me for sure. TERRIFIC

New & Tastefully designed boutique hotel

Good location near Beijing Street and 5 mins walk from MRT station. Limited eateries in the vicinity. Opposite high end night club can be noisy at night. Any odds are fully compensated by the interior design that offers fullest satisfaction to the end-users. From the shower facilities, lugguage/ changing area to the minute details of the lighting switch. We felt well taken care!

Great stay

Fantastic location next to the pearl river. Nice walking around the river and near enough to Beijing Road shopping. Bus trips are easy and convenient to bring you to all other places. Great!

Canton Fair Stay

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights for Canton Fair. The hotel conditions are excellent, comfort and service are magnificent. The Hotel view is amazing! They provided us with free 5 star transportation to Canton Fair during out stay. Staff is there to please you. Breakfast is ok. Only negative fact is hotel is surrounded by top Guangzhou night clubs.

Best hotel in all of China

I only stay at 4-5 star hotels and I would give this boutique hotel 6 stars. It belongs to leading small hotels of the world- and rightly so and it is the best of that group. I've never critiqued on here before but the LN5 in Guangzhou, China is the finest and will only stay at this hotel

We were impressed by their service. All employees treated us like family. The hotel design was very nice and chic, clean, and with the good taste of decoration. Also we love the rooftop river view bar. We will go back to stay there again every time we go to Guangzhou.
