The location and size of this place is outstanding. The unit was huge and the bathroom was the biggest we have seen in Portugal. Everything was walkable and the area was quite safe and easy to navigate. That said, communication with the host was lacking. Once we figured things out we were good to go though. Side note, you are right on top of the tram, so you can hear it running all day / evening. It really didn’t bother us and we actually thought it was funny. I’m not sure we would stay here again for price to cleanliness ratio… but it was a great experience.
Location is awesome and near to everything we wanted to do. Very clean. Extremely spacious interior. Getting in and out of the building was not so convenient as there is no receptionist. Checking in was difficult as it is done virtually and was confusing. Not to mention finding the actual building at first...had 2 different kind people direct me when I had no WiFi to access. However the price is very reasonable for such a great location.
I had wonderful time! Excellent location, easy check in, lot of options to eat around! I recommend it!! Had the best view!!
Ascensor de Bica is next door, can get loud but its tolerable. Property is close to restaurants, it can get loud at night from partygoers. Walkable to Time Out & Pink street. I don't recommend adding a 3rd guest in a room as it gets very tight and not convenient to walk around and across the bathroom & shower. 3rd adult guest should always get a bed and not a hide a way pull out, I feel.
This property is directly over the ascensor which is a trolley car that runs every 15 minutes or so which you hear from the apartment. That runs 7 am to 9 pm which was bearable. The main issue was that there is a square right next to the apartments where there were bands and a DJ playing very loud music until midnight on Thursday night and until 1:30 am on Friday night. We left Saturday but assume it was then also. No way to sleep with that going on. Either bring noise canceling headphones or don’t plan to be able to sleep until after the music stops.
The apartment is very good, all vitual process but very easy. The property is very clean and its good for a city break holiday
Apartment is close to major transport hub (Cais do Sobra), well designed and clean. Good bed, good shower and kitchenette. Close to trendy area with plenty of food options which also means some noise and street rubbish.
This property is terrible! Do not stay here if you want to have a decent stay and rest! AC doesn't work! Extremely noisy at nights! Very small room! No personal contact at all! If you need something during your stay there's nobody available to help you out!
We could not face any person in the building , everything is online or through a intercom that last day I could not get connected because nobody answered, I could not check out because the machine that you have to use to check in and check out was broken and I have to email them to let them know that I have checked out, they also have a restricted time to check in, at least they have locker that charge you $2 euros to keep safe your luggage, area around is good and walkable to the most important attractions, I would not recommend this hotel
Great Location, Easy Check in
I would advise to check in online before arrival, it will be easier and quicker to get passcode and room number on the check in machine at location. Our room was smaller than we expected and windows were to the side of building so there was no view, however the location made it bearable. We were very close to a number of bars and restaurants in all directions, we were also walking distance to Rossio square, pink street, Santa justa elevator. Cheap food and drinks in most places and good transport links around
If you want to stay somewhere with a lot of extras, this isn't the place. It is somewhere to sleep. I arrived around 10 a.m. and there is no one around and you must communicate via a telephone by the check-in kiosk. Check-in time is 2 p.m. but I needed to put my luggage in a locker which requires two euros which I didn't have, and no one told me. Really? Charge for THAT? I found some British ladies who helped me out. I returned at 2 to check in. The kiosk charged me room tax twice because it wasn't working. I called the phone to get my room number/code and was told someone would be by shortly to help. I waited, along with two other guests, for an hour. I called again and was given the code and room number to access to my room. The room itself was spartan and clean-soap/shampoo, towels, kitchenette and TV along with free WiFi. After getting signed in to WiFi, I noticed they had sent me an email with the codes. Real helpful when you don't have the WiFi password and nobody says anything. The rest of my stay was uneventful except a broken elevator and the shower wouldn't drain. I had also made arrangements through the apartment for airport transportation, but no one called/texted me via WhatsApp to confirm (which they were going to charge me 40 euros for). I ended up getting an Uber instead which only charged me 20 euros. It wasn't the worst but set your expectations very low. It is near the Time Out Market which is very cool.
I could not stay at the property. Place was filthy, in poor condition, very far from what was offered thru the site. We tried contacting the operator upon arrival directly and thru Expedia without any luck.
Easy check in. Great value for money. Location is top notch but can get noisy as it is right next door to the ascensor di bica (the big Lisbon tram) which goes from 7AM on week days. Would return and would recommend.
The location was quite good and getting around Lisbon. The staff that were on site for cleaning were very helpful. The only negative was the shower in the bathroom had absolutely no water pressure at all.
The communications with the staff is very sketchy, you always speak to someone different, some may be very nice and others very rude! They are not very thorough in the cleaning of the apartments, the floors were dirty, the showers and toilets were not cleaned thoroughly. There was a lot of noise coming from the streets below because it is a party city and there are parties around all night long, but on top of that there was construction noise constantly during the early morning hours from next door and from above our floor. there was no consideration that people are sleeping in the morning! The neighborhood is not bad, it is close to everything, not far from the Cais do Sodre train station and right next to the Acensor Da Bica which takes you up to Bairro Alto in case you don't want to climb the long stairway up. However keep in mind, the neighborhood is very active and Noisy all the time!
Unit was very nice and clean but our shower had a drainage problem that caused water to overflow into the rest of the bathroom. We asked the receptionist and they sent someone to come take a look at it but they were not able to resolve the issue.
We had a room overlooking the Elevador da Bica. Loved every minute of it. The room was lovely, nice big bathroom. Lockers on 2nd floor came in very handy, as we arrived early, just be sure to have some 2 euro coins on you to use them. The trams start around 7am but we were so tired from all the walking it did not bother us at all. would definitely stay here again.
The apartments are perfectly located, apartment was right above the Elevador da Bica, check in was super easy, apartment is equipment with a mini kitchen, table, full bathroom. No parking but you can park at the Time Out market which is a 3 minute walk. Will definitely stay here again. Absolutely loved it.
Great location, clean rooms, and easy & quick process for checking in and out
Great
Location was great, some units in the building were not very clean, see dead bugs on the floor & wall. Noise barrier for apartment is not good, hear tram moving starting 7:15am.
Great location hotel!
This hotel was in a great location for walking, taking public transport and right in the lively area near the city centre and old town. It was an unusual self check in process but it did work well, even though there was no actual face to face human reception. Our room was an ok size with everything we needed. Clean and modern. Our only negative was that I paid for a city view and my view was actually a wall, very close. We could not get the Aircon to work and when I emailed the customer services they never helped with these two issues. They did reply to help me with an access problem but not about my view or Aircon issues. That's the downside of having no people present. I would be worried if I had an emergency. Otherwise I really would recommend this hotel for it's great location. Lots to do in the area, directly next door to a funicular, two blocks away from Time Out Market for amazing food and 5 mins walk to the bustling Pink Street. Roughly a 10 minute walk to the centre attractions and squares, lots of cafes, bars, shops along the way.
Great stay. Lovely place
Air conditioner didn’t work Safe didn’t work Call them Came but didn’t fixed
Terrible! Avoid!! No communication from host !
Tried multiple times to contact host for access codes and transportation and received no response. Contacted Hotels.com hours before check in time since we were flying there from Madrid. Agent was also unable to get reponse. After multiple attempts, another agent said host said just come there and he’d provide code, nothing about transport. This was the end of a 3 week trip and that sounded very risky! Host refused to cancel and refund, despite being in violation of listed property policies! Luckily, Hotels, com found us another hotel and covered that cost! Thank you, Hotels.com for saving the end of our trip! Avoid this place!!

Great Location, easy entry using door codes, no keys, difficult parking crazy loud during the festival. Overall I’d come back.
Comfortable apartment
very good place
Located in tourist area. Convenient to many destinations in Lisbon by metro nearby. Daily cleaning services provided. Good communication with the management. Bit noisy at night-time. Decent room rate compare to similar size stays.
Property was remodeled very nicely and exterior continued to have its old Lisbon look.
Great location. Only drawback was noisy people staying down the hall from us. Lady down the hall would come out into hallway to have conversations at all times of the night. Constantly woke us up.
Extremely inflexible and NON customer service.
This apartment has a very inflexible check in policy. Their system is way more important than guest comfort and convenience. I extended my stay twice, staying for a total of 14 days. I accidentally booked the same day twice, so I asked for a refund. NOPE. I asked to stay in the same apartment so I won’t have to move for the last 3 days NOPE. I asked to have the same access code, NOPE. So I was locked out in the middle of the night and had to deal with the intercom for 15 mins to “reregister” when they already have all my information since I’d been there for a week. Definitely not customer focused. I will NOT recommend this apartment. There are equivalent priced and better customer focused places in Lisbon.
My review was censored and not posted. Here I go again in simple terms. Cancelled 3 rooms without notice. We got there and they told us they cancelled our reservation due to us not arriving on time for check in despite us having confirmed. Sorry, but I have no control over time changes lol. I am pregnant, dealing with everyone else and getting this information after traveling 24 hours was ridiculous. They told me I could write a review here expressing myself. They were kind and did allow us to stay 2 “free” days- that’s funny because we payed for 9 nights but okay lol- since I traveled for my maternity photoshoot and I started bawling because we were left stranded with nowhere to go. At that moment I had to figure out everything and solve all these issues for a party of 7 in a sold out area. Area at night is NOT kid friendly. We were offered illegal substances twice as we walked around. This is like Wynwood in Miami on steroids. If you like to party, this is your spot. Surroundings are gorgeous! The apartments were spacious and great, but consider another area overall if you have kids. The negative review is due to the lies, cancellation with no notice, NOT the place itself.
Centrally Located
Great location, clean, quiet and fresh towels each day.
Room was ok. Linens were very clean. Had an issue with power one night but they attended to it while I was out. Bathroom floor needed to be cleaned better. Construction in the area so there was dust because windows open. Room was at front of building - I would ask about one at the back - noise at night even with windows closed and locked until restaurants and bars closed. Good kitchen to make small meals. Building itself was clean. Perhaps post sign about quiet in hallway after 9:00? noise bounces of walls as there is no carpet - which is a good thing. On check out - no access to elevator to take down luggage to main level. Needed fresh towels and they came within 15 minutes. Overall good and would stay again if room was in rear of building.
good location and my room had a good view.
I can’t sleep because so many bars drunk people the locations is terrible for family
I was here for three nights and absolutely loved this location. It’s right where everything is happening (very lively). If you are looking for a quiet spot, do not stay here. The room itself has everything I needed (a big plus for having a mini fridge). Buy yourself some wine and bring back to your room! The only thing I would say could be improved here is the shower not draining quickly, other than that, the room is great!
Do another Stay Here!!
This was an extremely disappointing hotel. The inside is fairly clean and satisfactory, but their customer service is abismal. My taxi dropped us off about 100 meters away at about 10pm and we came to the address provided. We had a long travel day and our phones were at very low battery. We were eager to check in to the hotel quickly. We tried our provided access codes several times and they didn’t work. We called the number provided to ask why they were not working. We did them again with the man who answered the phone, but it still did not work. He told us we needed to go to a different location. I tried to tell him our phone battery was low and we had luggage and could not go to a different location, but he just hung up on us and texted us the screenshot below of the new address. Our maps took us down a dead-end street we ended up having to walk around and it took us nearly 30 minutes after our phones died and recharged to map us to the new location. This is extremely frustrating and caused unnecessary effort and time. It was late, our phones stopped working, we weren’t let it to the original location, we were hung up on, and I am very displeased with how it went. When I contacted them after the fact to inform them of my troubles, they were defensive and dismissive. One of the worst customer service experiences of my life. Do not stay here!
Great find in the downtown Lisbon
I had a day stopover in Lisbon and was just too tired to go around for 5 hours before my next flight. I found this place last minute and it was just perfect for my needs. The wall facing my window might feel a little claustrophobic but the studio itself was spacious, modern and well equipped. Large tv, ac worked well, water pressure is great, kitchenette well appointed for light meal preparations. When I switched on the led lighting by the floor, it revealed dusty floors which was s bit of a let down. Private access codes to doors is handy as it removes the risk of loosing keys but you better have batteries on your phone or be good with remembering numbers otherwise you’d be locked out. Virtual reception through phone is available 24/7.
Excellent location, v good accommodation.
Excellent location and good quality accommodation. I found the apartment well sound proofed and the air conditioning was good. I felt safe in the area. Lots of bars, restaurants and sights in short walking distance. It was handy being near Cais Sodre train station for: the metro, trips to the beach and returning to the airport.
Perfect location and great apartment
We hit gold when we picked the Ascensor da Bica apartment. It’s located in a great area, near to the station, the waterfront, the Time Out market and within walking distance to many of the sights. The apartment is clean, secure and has everything we needed.
Clean serviced apartments.
We had a flat overlooking the steps to the side door, so didnt get the noise from the trams or road outside. Small windows though. Interesting little kitchenette, quite surprisingly well equipped! In very convenient position for Caise du Sodre station (well worth a trip along the coast by train to Estoril and beyond). Nice to have clean towels every day, well serviced flats.
Excellent location, close to great restaurants and transport services
The apartment is in a great location. Management are easy to get in touch with although we had limited reasons to do so. The apartment is relatively sparse and smaller than expected, but the small kitchen facilities were indeed sufficient and furniture was adequate for the space. The sofa bed had sheets inside, as requested, and was comfortable. The room is cleaned each day with fresh towels provided. It was a great find and we had a great stay there.
It is in a good location near the river and easy to get to and not far from major sites around Lisbon and many shops nearby. The apartments are cleaned daily and towels are restocked daily as well. I would also highly recommend paying the extra $5 to update to the studio apartment, which is probably twice the size of a standard hotel room. It was a good value for the price I paid. I would definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Lisbon.
Feeling like home, in Lisbon
We had a good time at this place, which was comfortable, well located, large rooms, a fridge, and a little kitchenette, but somewhat noisy on weekends. You should choose Rua de São Paulo to reach the building, but still be prepared to climb up about 40 steps through Bica Pequena Stairs. This maybe a nuisance if you are not used to stairs, or if you have too much luggage/mobility problem. I appreciated the concept of "serviced apartments" that provide the guest full independence.
Location of the apartment was very good with easy access to all forms of transport. Slightly difficult finding the right entrance to the property when we arrived but that was soon sorted.
Recommended!
Very nice and modern apartment. It was a little hard to fund where the entrance was, as there is a little alley you have to take and go up the stairs to go to the main entrance door. Apt inside is very modern, nice view of the city. Access codes are convenient, also there are lockers to store your staff in the lobby.
Well situated but extremely difficult to find the entrance. Our entrance was up several flights of stairs in an alley and then down some stairs to a back door. Fortunately there were cleaning staff by the door to let us know we were in the right location. The room could use a bit of an upgrade as it is showing its age. The cleaning staff were pleasant and helpful.
comfortable and excellent location
Very comfortable and excellent location. Very good. Would stay again.
No more Lisboa/ Lisbon
The apartment and building was good, expect that a tram ran from very early morning below the building making a good nights sleep impossible. It was a mistake staying in the old part of Lisbon as every corner had non Portuguese trying to sell drugs. It was everywhere and quite intimidating.
Good location exactly as advertise ,everything we needed . Very helpful when we needed.
The property is at the same building as one of the famous landmarks of Lisbon - Ascensor da Bica. You are also within walking distance of many attractions and town centres - Barro Alto, Chiado, Rossio, Baixa. The Time Out market within 5 mins walk from the apartment is just ace! Property is very modern and clean. Only negative comment would be that the cleaners would not clean the floor for some reason (everything else they left very clean!) so towards the end of our week stay, the floor was definitely starting to look quite grimy.
Perfect for Nos Alive Festival
We were visiting the Nos Alive music festival at Alges, and the apartment was in an ideal location for this with trains running all day and most of the night to get there and back. All the most important things were covered: very comfortable bed, excellent high-pressure rainfall walk-in shower, efficient a/c which wasn't too noisy, roomy fridge, easy-to-use safe and plenty of clothes storage. The location is very close to trams, funicular, metro and suburban mainline station, plus a couple of food shops including a larger supermarket all within a few mins walk. Very easy access to pink street and Barrio Alto for bars, nightlife, a very good, welcoming sports bar nearby too. Plenty of local independent restaurants and cafes, plus a huge and popular food court close by. Daily maid service to make up the room was a nice bonus. Lockers for left luggage at 1E, perfect. For a few days stay for a festival the apartment was good and we would stay again. On the down side there was very little natural light - just one small window in the whole place which gave onto the street so people could look in if the curtains were open. While the bathroom was enormous, the kitchen was absolutely tiny with no prepping space at all: fine if you just want to pick up coffee and refrigerate a bit of fruit or snacks but would have been useless if you wanted to prep any actual meals. As others have mentioned, unpleasant graffiti seems to be a characteristic of this part of Lisbon, so expect that.
The property was self-contained, easy to access and had everything we needed for our short stay. Would definitely recommend this to anyone staying for a few nights! We initially struggled to find the sofa bed (it unzips and folds out on itself) but we were helped by a receptionist, and the owners are easy to contact if you're locked out. It was strange not having a direct check-in but the process was smooth and easy, thank you for our stay!
Hidden gem of a studio
Was admittedly a little tricky due to the nature of the streets. Even the uber driver with gps couldnt get right to it. Walking in though it was easy to get to. It is in a bit of a chaotic area but is in a perfect location to explore the different neighborhoods on foot. Very clean and comfortable apartment. Also very easy to check in. They simply emailed me the door codes 2 days before I arrived and it couldnt be easier to get in. If I ever decide to go back to Lisbon I would check this place out again
Apartment was in an ideal location, very convenient to amenities. The entrance to the apartments was in a narrow alley just round the corner from the front.
Noisy, noisy, noisy
It was my second stay at this apartment and I went back because mg first experience with this apartment was okay. It's located at the centre of the city, close to time out market and the water front. The place is relatively clean although you would occasionally find some hairs on bedsheets. Check-in and check-outs are easy and there is AC in the room. However, I would avoid this place during the month of June as there is a music festival going on RIGHT IN FRONT OF apartment. They sing until midnight and it is extremely noisy. It will start from around 6 pm in the evening and there is no way you can rest in your room. It sounded like someone was singing with a microphone by your ear. So, unless you plan to stay outside until midnight, it will not be a pleasant stay. I called the owner to see if they can change the room for me, but they got mad at me saying that its none of their business and I should call a police on my own. So, that wasn't helpful at all.
Amazing location, safe and comfort
Amazing location, better than expected! Very clean and very safe.
Perfect location, charming view towards street elevator, very easy and effective communication with staff from Serviced apartments
Great stay in Lisbon ascensor da bica
Hotel was great. Exactly in the middle of everything. Clean rooms. Ample size. Only cons: no reception desk and no lock on bathroom door. No biggie on both. But when you have your kid that wants to keep opening the door it get a little annoying.
Even though the location is easily accessible by public transportation, the zone is not so pretty, lots of run down buildings and very dirty streets. The apartment itself is ok, clean. The kitchen is fully equipped but the bed is hard as a table. Don't think is a 4 star.
Nice serviced appartement. But my only complaint is about this city taxe. Why don’ Just include it in the price of Expedia. Bcz you can not get inside the appartement unless you pay it after you book and pay with Expedia.
Great location, good amenities, recently renewed facilities
Good location, decent condition and cleanliness. You get charged 1 euro for leaving your luggage after check out. During the stay the lift had scheduled maintenance, which we were not told about.
Property was fine except the blinds did not work and we were on a very busy street first floor. A lot of noise outside the apartment so bring ear plugs if you want to sleep. Warm shower but limited spray. Great location for good restaurants at night. Loved visiting Lisbon
Great place to stay! Clean and well set up rooms, amazing location! Would definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Lisbon!
The property was very clean and spacious! Right at the heart of the city centre. Amenities wise is good but a few things to improve on, e.g in the bathroom, etc
The place was clean and updated. There was graffiti outside the front door saying in English F*** the police. Not very inviting. Better directions on where the door was to enter would have been helpful and to let us know where to park if we had a car. Cleaning people were friendly and nice.
Great location, great service, just the first day the air conditioning was not operating well.
Good: easy to access everywhere. Bad : looking terribly bad outside and is noisesy ! We were shock when first arrive ! Fortunely we found out later the security is ok . People are friendly, and there are a lot of outside People like us .
Great location close to plenty of restaurants and pubs. Large room with all basic amenities. Bathroom and toilet not the greatest, seemed quite grubby and shower not working that great. No city view as advertised but did have overlooking view of a rear building that seemed to be in a bit of a state. From the outside the property and surrounding area was covered in graffiti but this seemed to be the norm but didn’t detract us from having a great time.
Nicely located clean modern apartment. Easy walk to town, riverfront, station and transport links.
This property is really very acceptable as a serviced apartment. It is newly refurbished, very clean, staff helpful and friendly. Just the thing for a casual few dayswhen you don't want to be tied by times for meals...do your own thing! The exterior of the building is festooned with graffiti and the steps to the front doors were under repair when we visited in mid February 2019. The location couldn't be more convenient unless you have to go shopping for expensive items. That avenue is a short cab ride away though. It is a three minute walk to the River Tagus.
Clean, reasonably priced.
It was a clean place to stay which at the end of the day is what’s most important. It’s also located close to a ton of great restaurants, walking distance to the tram, and walking distance to the shopping district. The apartments aren’t easily identifiable, you need to find a small placard that directs you to the entrance off what may seem to be a shady back alley since the walk way is in a bit of a state of disrepair, and isn’t frequently travelled. At the end of the day the alley is well lit, and we never ran into anyone shady - so it’s just comes across that way. The apartment itself was clean. That being said, it’s not terribly well maintained. The towel hanger was broken, a couple of the door handles were loose, one of the bed side lamps was burnt out, and the shower was beginning to rust around the hinges. The walls aren’t sound proofed at all either, so you can hear everything. All in all, it was reasonably priced and I got what I paid for - a clean place to sleep that was centrally located.
Brilliant location with excellent amenities.was in room 4.19 which straddles the acsensor so fantastic view from the window, there in feb when guess it shuts but earlier but can imagine might be bit noisy in summer. Don’t be put off by access. Once you find it it’s not a problem. 2 min walk to TimeOut market and 5 to Cais do Sodré station. I would def highly recommend and will be back again. Only tip - if intending to cook - bring own condiments etc. Only salt and sugar, tea bags but no coffee.
Nice and clean place ,could have more information about the main entrance
Wonderful place great location everything great about the Bica apt
Lisbon ...stay in modern chic apartment
Terrific place...once you get the idea of how it functions. Close to train, metro, markets, cafes, shops. A terrific cafe Barbica across the square where meals are delicious and very cheap. Lovely chef.
Amazing property. Tricky to find but very impressed once found. I stayed in the smal studio room and it was perfect! Baggage storage was a great feature and amazing location in town! I would definitely go back to stay again!
The place is brilliant ! View on a tram and in the neighbourhood of bards restaurants etc
Great location . Able to walk around easily. Funicular next door a bonus. Having the time out Market nearby made having meals so easy from the range of chef’s kitchens. The location entrance was very difficult to find. This needs to be signed better as it was obvious the entrance was not on Main Street.
Very rude to me. Difficult to check in cause no front desk
Great affordable choice
Good stay, comfortable rooms . Very near to major site seeing places (Rua de augusta, rossio square, piazza de commercia) ... good eateries nearby too
Good location, at the bottom of a steep hill though so need to be able to be mobile
Apartment close to amenities
The apartment was fine but could here people shouting outside late into the night. Also a small thing but there was not plug in sink to wash up cups etc.
This property is in just exactly right location. It's clean, autonomous (no staff), big. It's just perfect!
The funicular passes right underneath kitchen and dining area so afternoon naps a bit tough unless you are used to that which we are being from a train town. Very unique though and quiet at night.
This is my second stay at this service apartment, the shower is a bit small compared to my last stay, but overall is good.
Funky apartment above the Ascensor! It has everything you need and the location is great. The only challenge we had was finding it since the entranceway is from a stairwell which was unexpected. I would recommend it.
Brilliant location, nice quiet flat
The apartment is right in the heart of things, literally straddling the famous Ascensor da Bica, and close to the Ribeira Market, the riverside, cafes, the Cais do Sodre station (with direct trains to the beaches) …and easy for the city centre. Despite that, it was reasonably quite, overlooking a pretty square with trees, steps and a great view up towards Barro Alto. We stayed with our teenage daughters, who also really liked it. Wi-Fi was a plus!
Excellent location, clean and comfortable, walking distance to the food market, shops and restaurants
Amazing location!!! The room was very clean and spacious. Loved it !!
Awesome location
Amazing location and great facilities. Clean and quiet too
Ascensor Da Bica, Week stay
Very convenient location. Close to train station and an easy uber ride to most places. Stairs to main door were easy to find but the stairs are extremely dirty and not a good first impression. The apartments are modern and quiet but could use some additional cleaning. A short walk to the waterfront, and main square where you can get the tour buses close to TukTuk rental and GoKart. Also some nice restaurants close by. Fab pizza joint around the corner too. A mini supermarket is just up the street and pricing and quality of produce etc. is pretty good. If you have heavy bags, be ready to carry them up the stairs, we had a great driver from Viator and he helped us with the luggage. Once you get passed the first impression of those stairs, it's a pretty good spot to be in.
Worth all the trouble to find it.
While this property is "right in front of you," it is hard to find. Even the "next door" operator of the "ascensor," when shown the address, sent me four blocks away! WHEN I eventually found the entrance, Marta, the concierge could not have been more gracious and helpful. The room is spacious, affords a good street view, has plenty of cooking equipment, good lights and pillows. A few tiny criticisms: 1) without a shower curtain the "drying area" gets awfully wet. 2) the shower needs a "shelf" for ones toiletries. 3) the shower area needs more towel racks. 4) the soap dispenser next to the bathroom sink is badly situated. 5) the kitchen sink needs a little basin in which one could wash one's clothes. But these are petty complaints.
Excellent location
Spacious and modern apartment. Very secure and arrangements for entry well communicated. The only dissatisfaction was with the hardness of the beds. Otherwise exceptionally pleased.

Very Poor communication
Property will never respond to any request sent through hotel.com. No communication was sent for check in instructions . Had to pro actively run after them. Collection of Municipal tax is not transparent. The receipt says part of the amount is Tip which we never authorized. Very poor in communication and rather UN-friendly customer service
