Everything shakes when someone is walking. Even beds shake when someone takes a step. I had the upper bunk bed and it was so old and shaky and had no protection for not falling. Other guests were very rude and noisy. Otherwise the staff was nice and the facilities were very clean

Green light, safe to go

Everything good, breakfast better than I expected given the price. Friendly staff. Only thing, not many sockets where to charge your phone.

Liked that I was put into similar aged travelers in there 20s and got great travel tips from the hostel workers

The property is absolutely beautiful in the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. The bathroom and the rooms were clean and well taken care of. The kitchen staff was also very nice and accommodating.

Great location; beautiful building. I’d definitely stay here again.

Terrible olía feo el baño fuera habitación fatal

It is a great Hostel. It is located in Chiado, one of the best neighbors of Lisbon, close to 2 Metro Stations and Comboi Station. The hotel is clean and has a chicken where any guest can cook. Good breakfast is served every morning (it is included) qnd guys and girls who work there are very nice and friendly. I’d stay there again nect time I’ll to Lisbon

Segunda vez que fiquei neste hostel e mais uma vez fiquei muito satisfeito. Ótima localização. Espaços comuns muito bons e um terraço com uma vista fantástica para o Tejo.

Great place!

Easy check in, perfect room, and a delightful location. They even had a 10am walking tour which was really amazing to see Lisbon.

TRAVELERS BE AWARE OF BED BUGS!!!!. I started my one month vacation in Europe at this place and it was a rough start has I got bitten by their bed bugs

Nice view from terrace

I was traveling alone. My hostel-mates were nice and friendly. I ended up spending a lot of time with them.

Pretty good hostel

A LOT of old people. And most of the plumbing fixtures (toilets, showers, sinks) had some sort of issue. Are these two points related? Probably not. But if they are...MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON OUR SOULS

Good stay

Good location, handy for the metro. Fabulous views from the roof terrace and quiet despite the location. Friendly, helpful staff. Air conditioning in our room didn't work though and the shower door was a bit wonky.

Awesome spot

This hostel went beyond what i was expecting. Location is 5 min walk from an Aerobus stop, 4 min walk from a metro station, 3 min walk from the start of a couple free walking tours... and lots of bars and cafes and close clubs around but all within a block away so you don’t get the noise From it! It has hang-out areas, a full on kitchen, a terrasse and even a lift (old - i walked up 3 floors each time even with my luggage so i can’t comment but they offered it to me so it works) The included breakfast was one of the best. Cereals, fresh bread, tea, coffee, hot cocoa, cheese, meats, apples, oranges..,, and self serves all you can eat. Better than most 3* hotels I’ve a seen in North America! The staff was efficient and friendly at all the iMessage - the rooms ans bathrooms were clean and spacious. I can’t find one bad thing about this place dinner tried. I will stay here again when i visit Lisbon again.

NICE HOSTEL / CONVENIENT LOCATION.

I have 3 nights stay in this hostel. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Location is very convenient. Metro/Tram station is very near. Super Market / pizza shop and restaurants are also down the road. Staff was helpful and friendly. Basic Breakfast but still OK because it's FREE (eat as much as you can). Harbour is just 5 minutes away and some other tourist attractions are also near by. Main Square is also 15/20 minutes walk. In short, it's a good place for short stay.

Best area, clean modern, friendly, comfortable, friendly, safe and (highlight) the view is breathtaking. I almost didnt want to leave the hostel lol. I had a personnal room that was better than many hotels i went to (minus the shared bathroom but that was okay). The shared areas were large modern and welcoming. The two outside spaces were the best though: the garden with the hammacs and the terrasse with the amazing view on the water. I would recomment to anyone of any age. Enjoy

Good location but loud

The location great because it was right in the middle of Barrio Alto and the waterfront. So about a 5 min walk to Time Out Market.The room was clean and the shared bathrooms were OK and was hit or mis if they were clean. The places is very loud with thin walls and ceilings. We may have had just a bad experience with the guests staying next to us since we had people walking, hitting the adjoining walls and yelling down the hall way early in the morning. Although, we did have someone playing their accordion before 7am, which was extremely loud. There was no staff members around to enforce their quiet hours policy. The staff was also not very friendly and would lounge around in the front on the couch, which meant guests would need to sit on the floor. The terrace is very nice and gives great views of the city. This place would be good if they lowered the price a bit.

Lisbon Hostel

Good - location, building, facilities. Bad - Walls/floors are not soundproof. We stayed in room under breakfast area, heard every single chair movement :-(

Lorenzo is the bomb!

Lorenzo at the front desk is the best. He helped me with my itinerary. He is very knowledgeable about the area. You are lucky to have him. Had a great stay! Would recommend your property.

Hidden gem

This hostel was hard to find but worth the effort, several locals tried to help. Once we arrived the staff were superb! They were friendly, even lent us a charger for our various devices. Breakfast had decent variety. Definitely would stay again.

Stay away

Please stay away from this place. In the time I stayed there, a laptop was stolen from from inside luggage which was locked, another charger was stolen and another backpack had been opened and ruffled through. The proximity to square is the only positive thing about this place. The breakfast is sad and the side street this is on is uphill so good luck with luggage.

Good, but could be better

The stay was ok. Fairly comfortable bed. Great common areas and a wonderful view of the river from the terrace. Not so great? Dorm doors slamming shut loudly, because most other guests can't be bothered to close them gently, even in the middle of the night. Bathrooms were typically not very clean, which unfortunately was not really the fault of the cleaners, but because too many of the guests were slobs. Lastly, when checking out, I found a used condom in the locker under my bed which had been there for who knows how long. When I reported to it to the staff, they didn't seem all that surprised or concerned.

Fairly clean, large facilities

Large facility and common area. Breakfast fairly decent for a hostel. Bedroom light was broken. Quiet street but close to city Center.

The private room (Bacalhau) = OASIS in Lisbon

Awesomely relaxing room with high ceiling, so airy and filled with light, simple but with everything you will need for a stay up to a week, overlooking a very nice garden and with the view of the sea (port) further away. Although in a hostel, the private room (shared bathroom) was AMAZING. Nice wooden floor, very white walls, comfortable bed, AC, large mirror, even has a clothes rack & balcony. Basic breakfast, but can take it outdoors on a huge terrace with awesome views of Lisbon downtown living & the sea.

Perfect location in downtown Lisbon.

Great clean hostel. Our only issue was that on a hotel day (our room - the Marisa) faced south and was very hot when we checked in and the air conditioning didn't do much more work as a fan. The good news is that the windows opened (3rd floor) and the cool breeze over the river cooled the room quickly. The front desk sent us to the market for dinner and it was the hippest dinner place ever - loved it.

The staff is a little indifferent and the neighborhood is quite noisy at night, but the room is comfortable and I do enjoy my stay here.

I'm Lisb'on here !

Located not too far from Metro station, a short 5 min walk. Friendly reception guy made me feel very welcomed. The dorm was clean & bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice & adequate. Recommend this hostel !

Great hostel!

Really central location, lovely staff, nice rooms and good price

Lovely clean, bright and spacious room, shared bathroom and dining room also pleasant, overall a great and very central place to stay in Lisbon. A really great budget option.

Great stay, ideally located

For a private room for 2, the cost of this hostel was edging towards hotel prices. However, room was spacious, bright, clean and comfortable with a balcony and a decent view. Staff helpful and informative. Decent garden and garden furniture, and good shared areas such as pool table, computers, cooking etc. Highly recommend a private room. Cannot comment on the shared rooms.

Nice hotel close to downtown

This is the first time I stay in a hostel; I've never thought a hostel could let me feel so pleasant and comfortable. If I visit Lisbon again, for sure I'll stay Lisb'on Hostel again.

Parfait pour un court séjour pas cher.

Je recommande une chambre privé si vous souhaitez avoir plus d'intimité et une salle de bain partagée avec un nombre réduit de personne. Le lit n'est pas des plus confortable et il y a beaucoup de bruit du au va et viens des gens. Le déjeuner est très varié et copieux. Pour un court séjour où vous ne voulez pas dépenser trop pour votre hébergement c'est parfait.

Excelente estadia na cidade de Lisboa!

O Lisb'on Hostel cumpre com todas as informações descritas no anúncio. Localização perfeita (próximo de uma estação de metrô para auxiliar nos deslocamentos e dos principais pontos turísticos do centro da cidade, com uma curta e prazerosa caminhada), check-in e check-out práticos, quarto espaçoso, cama confortável e armário individual para guardar os pertences (traga o seu cadeado). A decoração super criativa tornava os espaços coletivos do Hostel ainda mais agradáveis, o lounge e o jardim são ótimos espaços para descansar e socializar. Outro diferencial refere-se ao elevador (ótimo recurso para quem está com malas grandes), como também a cozinha coletiva e o excelente café da manhã incluso na hospedagem, sendo pontualmente servido e com os itens básicos para uma primeira refeição (Amei). O terraço com sua vista para o Rio Tejo e a zona central/portuária de Lisboa é uma experiência visual encantadora. Por fim, e não menos importante, destaco a educação e a simpatia da equipe de limpeza, do café da manhã e dos(as) recepcionistas. Agradeço especialmente a Josy e a Thais (as quais tive mais contato), pois ambas foram super profissionais, solícitas e prestativas em auxiliar/atender as minhas demandas durante toda a estadia. Diante disso, super recomendo o Lisb'on Hostel para a sua estadia na cidade de Lisboa.

The staff is super friendly. The building itself very beautiful and there is also a garden where you can chill. Even if the hostel couldn't be more center and close to bars, restaurants and touristic spots, it is very quite as it's in a side street. I can definitely recommend staying there. Cara equipa do Lis'bon Hostel, sentimo-nos muito confortáveis convosco. Os funcionários foram atenciosos, simpáticos e prestáveis. A localização é óptima e iremos recomendar-vos a outros.

Grande chambre confortable avec sdb privée et vue sur le jardin. Tout était parfait. Personnel super sympa et très arrangeant pour garder nos valises afin de continuer notre visite à Lisbonne. Top je recommande les yeux fermés aux familles et aux personnes qui souhaitent voyager seules. Nous reviendrons. Merci à toute l'équipe

Tolles Altstadthaus

Grosses 6Bettzimmer, herrlicher Ausblick über den Tejo. Grosse Terasse, super ausgestattete Küche und Gemeinschaftsräume. Zentrale Lage mit Metro und Bahnstation in der Nähe. Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert.

Excelente estadia, ótima localização, único problema foram os banheiros desativados, porém mesmo assim a limpeza dos poucos funcionando era excelente.
