Pleasantly surprised with the food and views, in the hotel restaurant. The manager of the restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate and personally take care of us on Christmas eve, which was sold out. The hotel manager was very pleasant and helpful too.

Excellent walkable location… very modern updates that enhance the charm of this lovely hotel… our room was very comfortable and quiet with amazing room darkening wooden door panels available by the window… we very much enjoyed the scenic rooftop lounge and restaurant… breathtaking views of the castle and over the city… very friendly and helpful hotel staff. Choosing a hotel can be challenging, but we are so happy we chose this hotel.

Wonderful stay here. Service and accommodation were top notch. Rooftop area with castle view and a spa and gym. We had massages that were fantastic and breakfast and minibar were included in our room rate. Location was very convenient! Highly recommend!

Staff are very nice and friendly, the rooftop view is amazing Breakfast Buffett and dinner are excellent! The staff prepared a box breakfast because I have to check in early at the airport. This is the 5th time I have stayed at this hotel!

The hotel facilities and location were good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. My only complaint, despite raising it twice with the breakfast supervisors, was that the hot breakfast items including bacon & scrambled eggs were not hot.

The location was fantastic, super convenient to get around Lisboa! The room is however quite small so we’ve had to move furniture around to optimise use of space. The bathroom sink was very shallow so while that limits water usage in an environmentally friendly manner, it was fairly inefficient in our opinion. Largely positive experience overall, we wouldn’t mind returning!

Very good hotel

This was a very comfortable stay from start to finish. The Lisboa Pessoa is a stylish boutique hotel perfectly located in the heart of Chiados central to some of Lisbon’s greatest landmarks. Only a 10 minute walk from the hotel to Praça do Comércio which is a beautiful hub to access the rest of Lisbon! The hotel is also only minutes to amazing restaurants and nightlife. The check in process was easy where staff were professional and welcoming. I was able to leave my luggage and freshen up at the beautiful spa. The room was very clean with many amenities. And there was even a beautiful nook with a window/door that could be opened. This was an excellent stay to kick off my travels through Portugal!

Will absolutely return to this property!

This is a fab hotel - in a great area. Lovely rooftop bar. Rooms are stylish and comfy. The staff are helpful. I have no complaints at all - apart from a niggle that the spa changing rooms are absolutely teeny tiny. But overall, it's just lovely.

We had a brilliant stay. The hotel was modern and clean, the standard room was big, the staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. Perfect location, short walk to great restaurants and shops, right next to Rossio train station and metro stations. We didn’t have dinner or brekfast but lunch was great on the rooftop terrace with amazing views over the city. Could not recommened more highly!

My wife and I had such a lovely time here we were rather reluctant to return to cold ,damp, wet Yorkshire! From the moment the outstanding concierge, Yasoja greeted us so warmly to our leaving,we had a truly wonderful stay in this hotel. Whilst Yasoga was memorable for his warmth and empathy for my wife having knee trouble ( OK I get it … Why did we go to Lisbon!! Well, we wanted to !!) we found the entire staff very friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel chain has a service oriented approach and emphasises this with the ‘ complimentary’ welcoming bottle of Prosecco and the daily’free’ mini bar. Of course this is priced in but is a clever and appreciated gesture that I wish more 4/5 star hotels would copy! The mini bar we used fully and always had a drink or snack on hand whilst out and about or on the hop on off buses. The rooms here are ‘London’ size i.e. about the smaller end acceptable but we found the bed comfortable if only a normal double and the clothes storage was just large enough for our needs. The en suite facilities were fine, beautiful marble and quality fittings throughout. Our only criticism at all is that the carpeting on our hallway on floor 3 leading from the lifts to the rooms was desperately in need of a good clean!This cost the missing star for cleanliness! The breakfasts up on the roof level were excellent and once again service was superb! We loved the area with all its restaurant options.. We loved this hotel!

The property is excellent, close to downtown. I would suggest not driving unless you are a local. We used an airport shuttle, and shuttled back to get our rental car for the rest of our trip. The staff were amazing, we arrived early and looked after our bags then delivered them to our room. They had good tips and suggestions that were very helpful. I would stay there again in an instant

This was a very lovely hotel. The pool was more of a wading pool and it was amazing. My only disappointment was my room was ground level and was very noisy. Staff were very helpful and always greeted you with a smile. It’s in the perfect location.

Fantastic stay at the Lisboa Pessoa. Although we wouldn’t typically love the idea of a ground floor hotel room; it was no issue at all. The hotel is in the best possible location. The view from the breakfast and bar area is fantastic. The spa/pool area was a nice way to unwind after exploring the city. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great place close to attractions

Great hotel with friendly staff, very well located! Resto has delicious food and terrace has a beautiful view, only improvement id recommend is to expand the gym and get more equipments as it’s very basic.

Loved everything. Location, its close to everything but far enough sonthat you have quiet and don't feel the hustle and bustle. Staff was extra friendly and helpful. My room, although a bit small, was clean, bright and amazingly comfortable. Free minibar and other amenities made for a perfect stay. Definitely my go to if I ever rerturn to Lisbon! Oh, and the breakfast buffet was excellent.

Beautiful little hotel in a very interesting and historic area of Lisbon. Reception and welcome very good, and the room was spacious with a big comfortable bed. The only disappointment was the shower, a modern mixer tap would have been far easier than separate hot and cold taps.

After staying in 5 other locations around a roadtrip of Portugal, this was a great place to end our trip. It was in a central location and a short, easy walk to the hard rock hotel where we had two tours pick up from. Breakfast was wonderful. The views from the rooftop, as other guests noted, made it hard for us to want to leave the hotel. We didn’t use the spa but wish we had more time to do so. The staff were all so helpful and kind but HUGE shout out to Yasoja. Best human we met on our whole trip! He was literally joyful about helping guests. We asked the best way to get to Castelo de São Jorge and he was giddy to provide us a perfect path that avoided strenuous hills, with a printed map he created! We’d definitely return!

I had an amazing stay! I had a twin room and it was lovely and clean, the bed and pillows were super comfortable; I had the best sleep ever. As a bonus the TV had English speaking channels. The hotel is in an amazing location so your close by to shops and restaurants, the hotel also has a roof top bar with a beautiful view of Lisbon. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, amazing hospitality. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Booked hotel based on previous reviews and reviews were spot on. Hotel is located in Barrio Alto near restaurants and sighting spots. Carmo square literally a few minutes away. I loved that. Carmo Cathedral located there as well. Minutes away from the Santa Justa lift. Close to train station Back to hotel, it was clean and staff was super friendly and helpful. Their morning breakfast was a great way to start the day. Provide variety of food for those with dietary issues. Rooftop bar was terrific, great place for drinks and the view was amazing. Would stay there again!

Amazing location. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. Our flight landed in several hours early and they let us check in the room well in advance. Set up crib for us and baby bath (we were travelling with 1 year old baby) Breakfast is great too and what a view! Would highly recommend this hotel

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Pessoa hotel. The staff at the front including the doorman were very welcoming. Our room was cute and cozy. The fridge was filled with complimentary drinks and snacks. What was also impressive was the spa experience inside: it included a pool, steam room and sauna. There is also a restaurant on the rooftop with amazing view of the city. Would absolutely come back here and recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in Lisbon!

The most excellent staff member, Yasoja Ekanayake, who is in charge of guest experience was super helpful with our bags as soon as our driver stopped, we were greeted by the most polite and professional staff that made our 25th anniversary celebration superb! Yasoja Ekanayake deserves a raise because he really went above and beyond so many times. The manager was nice also to upgrade our room the next day! They delivered Cava and sweets for our anniversary (2 times) during our stay because our original room was too small to have our luggage in there and the window opened to the pedestrians walking by. They upgraded us to a fabulous room with a patio and lounge chairs. The roof top bar and restaurant was fabulous. We had a couples massage and did the sauna and steam room. The large hot tub was more like a small cool pool. That is the only minor thing we didn't expect.

The staff went above and beyond to be helpful.. the rooms were compact but spotlessly clean.. there was a reasonable choice for breakfast each morning.. we had a great stay.. The only negative, and this is not a reflection on the hotel itself, is that it is very steep to reach the hotel, therefore if you have any mobility issues, this might not be the right choice for you!

Very nice hotel. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and made sure to make your stay a great experience. Breakfast was excellent. They brought pastries and espumante as a welcome gift. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The train station and metro station were nearby as well as shopping areas.

Excellent stay, facilities, staff and every little details has been covered at this hotel, the mini bar is completely free and they replenish this daily. You can use the Spa as a part of your stay, you only have to pay for treatments and they give you a discount. On arrival you also get a free welcome drink from the rooftop bar! I absolutely loved my time here and great restaurants and other places are within a walking distance.

Best location in Lisbon. Fabulous breakfast, comfortable and quiet room, close to City historical sites, good restaurants and shopping. Our concierge Yash, was amazing and helped us every day as first time visitors to Lisbon.

Well located and comfortable hotel

Spent a couple of nights here while visiting Lisbon. Well located hotel. Nice clean hotel with a spa. The spa limits the number of visitors to about 8 persons at a time, so some persons may not get to enjoy it. Unfortunately, we were busy visiting the tourist sites, we didn't have time to try and use the spa. All the staff are cheerful and helpful.

Everything just right

There are so many wonderful aspects of this hotel that make it my favorite place to stay in Lisbon. Really, it has it all: Perfect location in the barrio alto, Great breakfast and roof deck, Spa and workout room, And a wonderful overall aesthetic, replete with a library. But the best part about the hotel really, is the front desk staff. They are Attentive, helpful, and tremendously kind— Definitely the best part about the hotel

This property is in an excellent location, easy walking distance to all attractions. Its very clean and the staff was warm and welcoming. Although the room was on the smaller side, amenities were great and the pool and spa area was awesome. We didn't indulge in the daily breakfast, but it did look great and we enjoyed cocktails in the bar area. Highly recommend this hotel and will stay agin.

Lisboa Pessoa Hotel is a wonderful hotel, in the heart of the city, in the Baixo-Chiado district with walkable access to all the major attractions and excellent restaurants. The hotel has a roof top restaurant and bar with wonderful views of the city and castle. The buffet breakfast was exceptional and you get two complimentary well come drinks at the bar. All staff at the hotel were friendly and extremely helpful, both at the reception counter and in the restaurant. There were TWO staff members who stood out for us during our four nights stay at the hotel- they were Katielle Martins and Yasoja Ekanayake. They were both very polite with oodles of patience! Thanks to their help and advice, we were able to visit all major attractions and restaurants walking. As it is a city hotel, the room we were given was quite small. at the street level (005) with one small window. However, the bed and pillows were very comfortable providing a good nights sleep and a free minibar that keeps getting replenished daily, amply compensates for the size of the room! If we visit Lisbon again, we know exactly where we will be staying!!

Great stay!

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at Lisboa Pessoa hotel. The room was small (which I expected given location) but clean and well presented. The bed was comfortable, which was great as I have a bad back and often struggle when we travel. The free mini bar was a lovely extra touch. The location was perfect - easily walkable to Baixa-Chiado metro (5-10 minutes) and same for getting Tram 28, as well as local sites. We were meeting friends for dinner the one night we stayed, and the location was excellent for our chosen meeting spot and restaurant. We were only disappointed that we didn't have longer there to be able to try out the spa/pool and the bar. The roof restaurant however was wonderful for breakfast in the morning - we sat outside and enjoyed the wonderful view across the rooftops to the castle. The hotel also let us store our luggage the morning before check-in so we didn't have to drag it around all day, which we appreciated. The only small thing would be that I'd appreciate an earlier check-in than 4pm, however the hotel really made it work with the luggage, said they'd call if the room was ready earlier, and the luggage was already in the room for us when we arrived back to check-in which was really thoughtful. I'd definitely consider staying here again if we returned to Lisbon.
