The Liodoro B&B is very clean and spacious. The host Davide is the best. He gave us all the important information about the area and he was very quick to respond to any question or concern that I had. I enjoyed our stay in this bread and breakfast place

Beautiful

This property is nestled within a residential building making it feel like an authentic Sicilian stay. Communication with the property via Whatsapp was outstanding; clear instructions on check-in. The manager who met us was very helpful advising on places to eat, airport transfers and local tours. The room itself was large and had great facilities - a kettle, fridge, air conditioning and TV - everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was fantastic and the real highlight for us. A stones throw from the amphitheater, the main square and good transport links (buses) to the airport. The only thing that was an issue was the noise from the street but that is to be expected in a busy city centre - nothing a set of earplugs can't solve. I would definitely stay again and recommend.

Location was excellent for easy access to Bus Station or Main Central Train Station or Metro. Good selection of places to have a meal based around hotel all within walking distance Host of Hotel very helpful with information on places to visit as well as transportation to get.

B&B excellent et accueil formidable

Quelques jours dans la charmante et volcanique ville de Catane. Ce B&B est idéalement situé en plein coeur de Catane, tout est à proximité. L'accueil que nous a réservé notre hôte, Serena, était exceptionnel. Toujours disponible, à l'écoute et donne de très bons conseils (restaurants, bus, excursions, ...). Elle aime son métier et l'on se sent très à l'aise dans ce B&B. Notre chambre était très propre et nous ne manquions de rien. En résumé, un séjour parfait en plein coeur de Catane, embelli par l'hospitalité, la disponibilité et la gentillesse de Serena. Je reviendrais avec plaisir en Sicile, à Catane et dans ce B&B.

Very disappointing: needs upgrading

Very disappointed overall. Website ticked breakfast available. For breakfast we were directed to a restaurant nearby. The website ticked daily housekeeping. A notice was provided in the room that linen would be changed only every third day. We stayed 3 nights: the last 3 of a 10 day tour of Sicily: Temp of 32 degrees means multiple showers per day..with 1 set of towels? On request, 2 extra large towels were actually provided at no charge. No cleaning was done during our stay and the floor in the bedroom was old and dirty. The bed creaked. The bathroom was not at all of a modern standard and one had to climb into the bath to have a shower and pull across an accordian type panel to prevent water leaking out. The hosts were excellent with information, etc but the actual product was not of an acceptable standard. Further, this building housed 4 different B and B's on just one side of the courtyard so there were always people coming and going and as the stairs are open, this could be very concerning from a security point of view. In fact the main gate entrance was left open a number of times during our stay.

Simona and Luciano are very frirndly and helpful. They even helped me with comminicating with my "next" bnb owner.

Very nice, not much different to a 3 star hotel. They dont come into your room each day to clean, which we liked, but apart from that it was like a hotel. We had our own ensuite and tea & coffee making facilities in our room, and then we went out to the dining room for breakfast each day. The owners dont live in the same apartment and the apartment itself is large with high ceilings, and 2 levels of rooms. There must be 6 or 8 rooms in here, not sure. The breakfast lady comes each day at 8am and sets up as well as cleans, it's nice to know it's so clean. You do need to be reasonably fit to handle the stairs, there are about 4 flights of them and it would be an advantage for the owners to get the ancient elevator fixed, if only for the luggage. The location is central to the tourist places and easy to walk to each. Many restaurants nearby too.

My wife and I stayed here recently when we arrived in Catania and the airline lost our luggage, forcing us to find overnight accommodations on short notice. Simona was very nice and helpful. The room had a/c which was a very welcome relief in summer. When you go into the courtyard there's a small lift that you can use which is nice because the "second" floor is actually up about six flights of stairs. The location is convenient for visiting several local attractions. I recommend the Roman Theater. The only downside to our short stay was transportation. We couldn't find a better option than a taxi to and from the room. Even though the airport is within 5 miles we ended up spending over $60 on round-trip cab fare.

Comfortable place to stay right in the middle of historic Catania. Check-in was easy with electronic front door entry and room keys readily available. Everything was in the room (except for bath soap, which was provided quickly on request). Room was clean and tidy, breakfast was simple but tasty and set up to order. Location is fantastic, just off one of the main streets and close to the main square. Only minor complaint is that noise travelled fairly easily throughout the building, but that may be common for the city.

It was an awesome experience staying here. There was breakfast every morning with coffee, tea, toasts, jams, croissants, fruit, yogurt, and cereal. It is a few blocks from Elephant Square and the main strip of Catania, as well as 15 minutes walking to the ocean. Great restaurants close by, especially Casa di Pino! Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent service and central location.

Excellent B& B very friendly couple who run the establishment, central location, breakfast excellent, ham, cheeses, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fruit juices, croissants, cake, toast and jams, what more could you want. Bedroom very comfortable and spacious. Would definitely recommend it and would stay again if we visited Catania.

Very nice B&B, strategically located in the city centre of Catania. Room was big, clean and with air conditioning. The host was very nice, accommodating with check in and check out and helpful. Finally, the breakfast was a varied bufffet with quality products offered. What else?

Nice B&B

We booked this B&B because it said it had lift which was true but to access it you have a couple of stairs up and then down. All the rooms except the double one are up through a stair which can't be access by lift, so just be aware in case of people of restricted mobility. WiFi didn't work continous and for hot water you have to wait around 5min to get. The owners where nice and easy going.

Good location, super-nice owners

This B & B is literally right around the corner from both the Chiesa di San Francesco d'Assisi all'Immacolata (which I didn't visit) and the Teatro Romano (which I did visit). It's about a four-minute walk to the Elephant Fountain. The owners are super-nice and were extremely accommodating. I asked numerous questions by text or email, and they always answered conscientiously. A couple of small negatives: the hot water in the shower takes several minutes (10?) to warm up, and the mattress was quite soft. Still, I would say that the pros outweigh the cons.

Enjoyed my stay

I travelled to Catania with my two young boys last week and decided to stay in this place. I quite enjoyed my stay. The room was very large and clean with all facilities I needed: TV (also had cartoon channel for kids), kettle, nice, clean bathroom with hairdryer. Breakfast was served between 8.30-10.30. The first day I was quite late for breakfast. But the owners were so nice. They offered me and kids breakfast without making any trouble. Overall I had fantastic time.

Det vildt godt

Det er et fantastisk sted midt i smukke Catarinas gamle bydel. Et stenkast fra torvet og få hundrede meter fra restaurant kvarteret. Gammel lejlighed der er vedligholdt og tro mod den gamle stil - smukt! Davide og hans søde personale gør stedet unikt. Hvis vi rejser på disse kanter igen, skal vi helt bestemt bo her igen. Tak for et vidunderligt ophold.

B&B davvero eccellente. Pulizia eccezionale, personale gentilissimo, camera perfetta come da descrizione. Nulla che non mi sia piaciuto. Davvero bravi, Serena è davvero gentile.

Struttura situata al secondo piano (con ascensore guasto ) pulita nel complesso, la mia stanza di medie dimensioni si affaccia su un'interno cortile senza nessun tipo di vista se non sui tubi di scarico e dei condizionatori. Colazione deludente, cornetti e torte mbustate tipo supermercato che per l'importo pagato ( 2t9€ per 4 giorni) non li giustifica.

Mycket bra läge i centrum, inte enligt Expedia 3,4 km utanför centrum. Ibland lite slamrigt ute på gatan, men bor man mitt i centrum blir det så. Som alla okända städer är det svårt att hitta rätt ut ur dem med bilen. Många enkelriktade gator. Men, nära till Etna. Rekommenderas.

Sehr schöne saubere Unterkunft mit sehr netter Gastgeberin. Tolle Lage im Zentrum von Catania. Sehr umfangreiches Frühstück.

Perfekte Lage, nette Hausherren. Leider entsprach das Frühstück nicht unseren Erwartungen. Auch die Dusche war am letzten Tag nur noch Kalt und somit war das natürlich kein Vergnügen. Alles in einem ok.

Hotellet är i centrala Catania så man har nära till allt. Restauranger och mataffärer. Museum och fotografvänliga byggnader. Buss, tåg och taxi. Marknader och shoppinggatorna. Personalen hjälper till att hitta rätt.

Personnel très chaleureux et disponible. Nous sommes venus en couple pour une semaine, et notre hôte a offert de nous surclasser d'une petite chambre à un grand appartement avec balcon pour plus de confort. Le petit déjeuner est inclus. L'hôtel est très bien situé à 2 pas du centre ville. Je recommande cette adresse!!

One night stop.

This was was an emergency booking because of transport cancellation. The room was smallish but very comfortable and clean and the breakfast room /lounge room was spacious and tea and coffee available all day. It is a two minute walk from the Duomo. Highly reco me ded.

Clean, well located and extremely friendly staff

The B&B is extremely well located, just few steps from the Duomo and the main attractions. The staff is nice and available for information and help. I arrived very late because of flight delay and they manage it very professionally. Breakfast is outstanding for a B&B with lots of food and drinks. The room is quite simple yet comfortable. Lastly, despite the facade of the building would need renovation, everything inside is extremely clean and new. Definitely recommended!

świetna lokalizacja, w samym centrum Katanii. Mili i uczynni gospodarze. Dobre śniadanie. Herbata i kawa dostępne cały czas. Dobrze działające Wi-Fi. Przystanek autobusu Alibus jadącego na lotnisko w odległości ok. 5 min. spacerem. W bliskim sąsiedztwie kilka bezpretensjonalnych knajpek z dobrym jedzeniem.

gastvrij B&B midden in de stad.

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in Liodoro B&B. De eigenaar was erg betrokken bij ons verblijf en gaf goede tips. Daarnaast konden we iedere ochtend genieten van vers gezette koffie bij de grote openslaande deuren voor het balkon. Heerlijk genieten van het zonnetje en de geluiden buiten. Na 3 nachten werd onze kamer schoongemaakt en kregen we meteen een optie om te verhuizen naar een ruimere kamer. Ook catania vonden we een mooie stad.
