Location was convenient to train

It set the tone for my whole trip

The breakfast was amazing. It is very close to the train station. It had wonderful charm. I loved the high ceilings and tile floor. It had a very nice hot shower.

You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing location right next to the Train station. Very welcoming staff and Breakfast was very good. The room and bathroom smelled bad.

They charge us before we were there without notice.

The close proximity to the train station is good and bad. Convenient, but brings a seedy feeling around the hotel/building. A homeless guy was sleeping, just outside the front gate to the building, as we left in the morning.

Service is terrible. We tried to check in at 8pm. There is no open reception. Every door is closed. No one is answering the phone. Waited 40 min at the door and reception came by with some other people. Seems reception is common for multiple hotels and she stays in a different hotel which was never mentioned nor contact details are provided. The room we got seemed to be the last one and later realized its the worst one. There is no attached bath for this room. This one has a bathroom down the hall and needs to carry a key to open and close it. Which is the same case for your room as well. The bathroom is not even clean. No bath soap or shampoo is provided. Brunch food is decent and in the mornings all doors are open and service is available for check-in. So beware if you are coming in late hours for check-in and be sure your room had an attached bath, not like us.

Air condition turned off end of September so it was hot in the room, nice large room but very small old lift.

Nice location, not far from the centre & train station; although not well signposted & insufficient amenities.

The hotel is very close to the station which made it so easy for us to navigate to other cities. Also its walking distance to many attractions, there is a close by McDonalds and grocery store. Overall, really nice stay!

Convenient & spacious

Conveniently located near train station and supermarket and landmarks. Spacious and clean room. Sound proofing of room is not gd but the area is generally quiet.

You get what you pay for...

The staff that helped us check in on the first day was very friendly and helpful. We think his name was Raj, but unsure. The hotel said they have air conditioning but it was broken when we were there. The room had a lot of mosquitoes. The bathroom was average, there was an area where there was lots of bug dropping on the ceiling. The bed was dirty, the floor was dirty and everything looked like it hasn’t been cleaned. The hotel looks like a very old beat up building and outdated but the price was decent .

Comfortable

This hotel is nice and comfortable very close to the train station which was excellent we thought it would be noisier based on other reviews but it was not. Lilium was great walking distance to everything we wanted to see. We stayed for two days and it was sufficient.

Great location!

Location was excellent right next to Santa Maria Novella station.. breakfast was a avarage/ok with cold cuts, sweet pastries, however receptionists could have had a bit better English to communicate with clients.. overall I would say I liked my stay at Lilium hotel..

Fantastic Florence

Internet was really good, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast choices. At checkin they gave us a pouch with TV remote, adapter, room control remote and mosquito repellant plug. This was great for keeping everything organized. Also enjoyed having kettle with tea assortment in room.

Good hotel but construction noises impossible!

Great location 2 mins from the train station and 10 mins to the Duomo. Good clean rooms for the price. Only downside is there was serious construction going on upstairs with drilling and hacking noises that woke us up from 8am in the morning. Impossible to find any peace or rest with the noise, even the staff looked like they had enough of the noise.

Simple stay

The hotel was well located near the train station. Room we got wasn't the room as in the pictures. The bathroom was too small.

Great stay!

Really nice front desk staff. Breakfast was standard, nothing too over the top, but we didn't go hungry. Can't beat the location right beside the train station and steps away from all of the main attractions.

Great hotel near the Firenze S.M.N. station

The Lilium is a great hotel, right around the corner from the Firenze SMN station.The operators are friendly and accommodating, and they have a beautiful breakfast. There is a/c, a welcome thing in Florence in the summer. I would definitely stay there again.

Good hotel

Hotel is near to train station, 10 minutes by walk or 15 minutes by walk with big luggage like us. They have old lift or elevator but it was actually ok and a bit unique, suitable with the old building where hotel located. They have night time so we need to open the door by ourselves if we come above 10 pm but they have staff that can help if we have difficulty to open the door. We can go to Duomo and around by walk, 10-20 minutes. Florence is beautiful and if I have chance to come to Florence, I will definitely stay in Lilium hotel.

Good location and comfortable room

This room was exactly what I needed. The location was great - right next to the train/bus station and walkable to all the sites. The staff were friendly and accommodating.

Brings you the whole feeling of Firenze

I think it's common in Italy for such B&B style made in renovated old buildings. The building is old and dark. Elevator fails when we arrived. But it's 4 feet and more high window and the extremely tall ceiling is definitely a classic, and it reminds you living in Firenze! Breakfast is never disappointing in Italy

Nice

Clean room, nice breakfast and helpful staff

The staff are very helpful and friendly. We arrived late in the evening and the staff was still very patient in explaining all the things to us, gave us a quick overview of where to visits, and answered all our queries. The room and toilets were clean and they would keep them clean every day. The breakfast was free. It was rich and delicious, especially they had different choices of juice. Also, they would refill the food and drinks even when it was close to closing time, to ensure we had plenty of food to choose from. The only down side is that our toilet and room was separated. Probably I overlooked it when I did the booking, or the website did not state clearly. Anyway, it was manageable. Therefore, one may need to be careful where the private toilet is when doing the booking. Last but not least, the location is very good. It is near to key attractions and the train station. Also, we joined a local tour to Tuscany, and the meeting point was just below 10 minutes walk away. It was especially good when considering that the journey started at 7:45am. Overall the stay was a pleasant one.

Wir hatten ein Dreibett-Zimmer gebucht. Allerdings wurde uns vor Ort gesagt, dass das Badezimmer außerhalb des Zimmers den Flur runter gelegen ist. Das war in der Beschreibung des Hotels und unserer Buchung nicht erwähnt! Auch der Zustand des Badezimmers war nicht akzeptabel. Es gab andere Zimmer mit mehreren Betten, die alle das Nad im Raum hatten. Uns kam es vor, als hätten wir ein Notzimmer bekommen, weil die anderen ausgebucht waren. Das Zimmer hatte noch nicht mal eine Nummer… Das Zimmer war auch sehr spartanisch eingerichtet. Insgesamt nicht das, was wir gebucht hatten. Auch die Gegend, in der das Hotel liegt, ist nicht die schönste.

Razonable. Bien ubicado.

En términos generales, el alojamiento fue bueno, si bien sabia las condiciones de la habitación contratada (habitación triple con baño externo, privado) no imagine que el baño estaria tan lejos de la habitación, lo que si destaco es que estaba limpio y ordenado, la una objeción es que la ducha mereceria ser reparada, ya que el agua salia en poca cantidad. El edificio es antiguo, comprensible estando en una ciudad como Florencia. Y el ascensor no funciona (por lo que he leido, hace un tiempo que esta asi y sigue sin ser arreglado), destaco esto porque hay que subir 2 pisos o en su defecto 3 para llegar al alojamiento, asi que no lo recomiendo para ir con personas mayores. Para destacar del alojamiento es la ubicación respecto a la estación de trenes y del centro.

Zona centrale, stanze pulite e accoglienti, personale gentile, colazione ottima e abbondante. Non comodissimo il bagno fuori dalla stanza e, per le temperature di quest'anno, ambienti troppo riscaldati.

Struttura comoda per muoversi in centro, ma un po' datata. Camere con mobili nuovi, ma bagni da ristrutturare. Buona pulizia. Personale gentile, cordiale, disponibile e competente

Le déjeuner est bien. Ne prenez pas les chambres près de la réception car il y a du bruit provenant de celle ci et de la salle de déjeuner. Les fenêtres ne coupent pas le son...si sommeil léger n’est pas l’idéal. Mais pour le rapport qualité prix c’est excellent!

El hotel se encuentra ubicado a 150 metros de la Terminal Santa Maria, por lo cual llegue caminando con mi equipaje. El hotel se encuentra ubicado a cuadras de los monumentos historicos de la ciudad. Las habitaciones muy comodas, moderna limpias y con heladera pequeña, pava electrica. El personal muy atento. Volveria

La camera assegnataci era piuttosto piccola, calda e rumorosa. Esagerato il supplemento di 15€ a notte per il cane. Punti a favore la posizione piuttosto comoda per raggiungere il centro.

Perfecto. Cerca de la estación de tren. Y muy cerca del centro. Personal del hotel muy atentos. Tuvimos una habitación triple, era muy espaciosa, muy limpia, mobiliario y baño estababan nuevo, desayuno tipo buffet , que reponían con bastante frecuencia. A 100 metros había un supermercado que vendían comida para llevar. Me gustó mucho. Lo recomiendo.
