Attention should be given to cleanliness

The room is spacious. However, it is pretty dusty. We found hairs from previous tenants everywhere. Also, there are bedbugs which made redness spots on our arms and body. The worst is that my wife got food poisoning after she took the breakfast on our checkout day, 2/24/2025. She threw up badly in the train this morning when we were on the way to Taitung. Everything she ate this morning was all out. Then she vomited a couple times after we checked in hotel in Taitung. I was ok because there were some dishes I didn’t take, like the tofu dish and the cold jelly fish dish. These two dishes were served two days ago and were served again this morning. Will they be old food reserved again?

Great vegetarian friendly breakfast, free bicycles, great location. Stayed during lunar new year and had a blast.

Good: Was clean and breakfast was good. Overall I felt taken care of. Not so good: Wifi was open, in one instance the tub was not draining properly.

This hotel was only ten minutes walk from the train and bus stations as well as the tourist information centre. It offered a great breakfast, but it was a busy hotel catering to bus tour groups who were sometimes a little noisy.

This particular hotel must have been converted from an apartment building at some point. Our room was small, cramped, and falling apart. There were chicken feet (probably left over from previous people) in the fridge. The fridge was not cold and there were three whole plugs in the room. I do not expect much for the price, but please do not catfish me. The photos on the website were not what we got. It was disappointing.

A good hotel with great staff . Hotel and rooms a little dated but facilities in rooms were very good . Fridge, kettle large TV and aircon. Breakfast was buffet style Taiwanese. Restaurant staff excellent- offering scrambled or fried eggs plus noodles and vegetables etc. Our first room was small and spa shower didn’t work properly so asked reception to move us. No problem - upgraded us to massive family room which was much better. Lots of good eateries near by. Fantastic 360*view from roof garden.

Good hotel, central location

All you need for a solo vacation. Well maintained rooms, good AC, bike rental only until 6pm, should be longer to check out the night market by bike. Friendy staff, helpful and accommodating. Good experience for me!

This is a nice and comfortable hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. We will choose this hotel when we come back to Hualien next time.

the facilities are fine, there are some food near by, but not very close to the train station, if you are going for a business trip that you need to go the train station often; indeed some walking distance from both the city center and the station

excellent stay in Hualien

The hotel is quite nice for a 3-1/2 star. Very large room with very comfortable bedding. Good shower although the hot water takes a minute to warm up. The only complaint I have was we were given enough toilet paper. Probably just an oversight of the housekeeping. Parking was a bit difficult. We were lucky we were given a spot right in front of the hotel. Everything else exceeded our expectation. We were very happy with our stay. The pool looked beautiful and no one was there. The hotel has nearly everything you can ask for. Staff is very nice. Breakfast was super delicious. I would rate it a 4 star hotel. I am looking forward to our next stay. The most enjoyable stay in all of our hotel stays in Taiwan so far.

Nice Hotel, great staff!

It is a 3 stars hotel, but we found the staffs were extremely helpful and friendly, we were given a room on the 8th floor and it was the top floor which gave us a nice view to look out. One of the staffs recommended us some places to eat in the neighbourhood and we found every place we went was delicious food! Breakfast was nice too for us! The hotel was very close to the railway station and the main road of the town.

House Keeping and Guest Room Convenience

It was an unpleasant check-in experience. I don't mean the front desk did not do their own job well but I just couldn't open the guest room door with the key given but their back-up key could. How can such thing happen? Later on I found I could not flush the toilet. I really wonder how the house keeping was done. After my complaint, they upgraded me to a larger room. You know what, in that bigger room, only two electric outlets could be found. It does not make sense at all from either room size or number of person to stay aspect. Be honest, I was pretty disappointed with my stay at this time. It was the third time I stayed at this hotel but I am not sure at all if there will be the next.

A Gem in Hualien

This is the first hotel I stayed at in Taiwan and it spoiled me. Lots of space, 3 beds, two bathrooms, a balcony, good service, and clean. When we came to breakfast late the breakfast staff kept it going for us. About a 10 minute walk from the train station. Very pleasant little courtyard on the interior of the hotel. Would definitely be my go-to place to stay if I ever make it back to Hualien.

Clean Hotel

We stayed 2-nights at Liga Hotel recently while visiting Taroko Gorge. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. We booked our day trip to Taroko Gorge directly from the front desk. The room is standard Taiwanese style room, not very big but big enough for three adults to move around. Our room had a balcony with a nice view of the mountain. The breakfast buffet is mostly Chinese style but it does offer toasts, jams, eggs and ham (thin slices that look like SPAM), salad bar, and fresh coffee for Westerners. For those who do not mind eating Chinese style breakfast, the selections are aplenty...from congee to steam buns to stewed meat on rice as well as various meat and vegetable dishes. The hotel is within walking distance to many local restaurants, popular food stalls, but a bit of a longer walk to the new night market. The location is 10 - 15 minutes walk from the training station. We had a very relaxing stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to visit Hualien on a budget.

Nice hotel with great staff

Hotel Liga is a nice hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Our room was tidy and clean, but a little on the small side for a 6 night stay. Facilities were good. Beds the most comfortable we've encountered in Taiwan. Nice spacious restaurant for breakfast with plenty of dishes to choose from, but most dishes are not kept warm (like the scrambled eggs, noodles en some vegetable dishes. Be prepared to encounter lots of tour groups in this hotel, which can sometimes feel like a bit of an invasion!

Overall a good experience

I thought the service could 92nd better. I booked a family room with the intention of having their room with 3 beds (2 single and 1 double),& was disappointed when the staff insisted there was no such room available anymore since I did not indicate it in my booking. Initially she gave us a room with 2 double beds instead. However after some probing (I asked whether I could have the bigger room on my 2nd and 3rd night), the room became available! It looked like they wanted to keep the room for walk in customers who would pay more. The family room was great. Room was clean and there were 2 washrooms, a dining area,& a little balcony. No noise although hotel is at the city. The hotel provides bicycle rental (free for first 2 hours) so you can get one to tour the city. Hotel is at the city and near to shops where we could do some shopping. It is about 30min walk from a beach facing pan Pac ocean. Breakfast was mainly Chinese, with salad and bread available as well. The Hotel was sometimes crowded with PRC tourists.

This does not worth at this price. Dust on the towel, water flood out of the bath, short of sockets etc

Old dirty

Room was large but dirty and and appeared unchanged since the seventies. Room door is metal panel with traditional door key.It also had a musty smell. I stayed just long enough to book somewhere else.

The stay was decent with good service. however it's a little far from the main train station. breakfast was more of Chinese cuisine and might not be suitable for some.

Smallest ever.

This was the smallest room we have ever had. It was clean and well designed with new functional bathroom, but there was little room for two not to get in each other's way. And one of us had to climb over the other to get in and out of bed. Breakfast was good, and the staff were accommodating, and admittedly the price was good, and we were not there to spend lots of time in the room. Not bad value, but the pictures do not fairly represent the room.

SHORT TERM IS OK

IT WAS ALL RIGHT FOR COUPLE OF NIGHTS. TOO FAR AWAY FROM SHOPPING. FRONT DECK WAS JUST O.K. AGAIN NOT SUITABLE FOR WESTERNERS BECAUSE OF THE HARD BED.

Excellent Services

Hotel is not in good location but that is not a problem because the attraction in the town can only be reached by bus. Staff is helpful on the choice of day trips. On check out day, paid for taxi to train station.

Excellent services

Hotel is too far from train station to walk with luggage but too near for taxi drivers. It is also not near the night market and a bit too far to walk for main street shopping. However, the room condition is excellent and breakfast is very good. The staff is extremely helpful and give good suggestion to tour Tarogo and night market. Service is excellent - they pay for two cabs to bring us to the train station because the hotel transport was not available at the time that we had booked.

Quiet within walking distance to the shops

We were upgraded to a family suite room. Spacious room with comfortable and clean beds. Service is good. Simple breakfast.

停車位子在旅館附近，開放式算很方便。 飯店前道路有點危險，是個三叉路，不太方便上下車，不過離吃東西的地方都很近。 早餐有點普通…小小失望，之後應該不會買早餐而去外面吃。 隔音不算很優，樓上或是走廊有人走動都聽得到。 衛浴都算乾淨，房間很大，放置物品很方便。

不要被網路評價騙了！評價高實際卻非如此

飯店櫃檯態度都很差，像是欠幾百萬，只有一個短髮年輕女生服務好，房間跟網路照片落差很大，空間很小，床非常難睡，像是100元住一晚的感覺，房間內有小蟲不只一隻，浴室洗手台有上一個住客的頭髮，飯店附屬停車位很少，飯店位置剛好在三岔口，停車地方在巷口，容易堵塞其他來車，很不便！

💖有幫我房間升級，房間很大，有二間廁所很方便，還有一個4人用餐桌可以吃東西聊天 💖舊飯店改裝，有些地方改的不錯，但有些地方還是舊的 💖廁所很小間，淋浴間也不大卡卡的 💖隔音不太好 💖地點不錯，走出去有一整排餐廳，速食店和便利商店也都在10分鐘內走的到，不想去夜市人擠人的話住這裡不錯 💖有停車位，但不多

櫃檯人員服務好，早餐菜色豐富，地點鄰近火車站；剛進房間時有個味道，另外腳踏車只能借兩個小時有點太短了。

前檯夜班服務真的不錯，入住經驗都很好； 房內設備稍嫌老舊，床軟了些，地毯可以淘汰了； 早餐選擇雖不多，但可以吃的飽，若有鮮奶就更好了。

建物は年数が経ってますが、部屋内はちゃんとリフォームされているので外観ほど古さは感じず部屋も広く満足しました。花蓮駅からは徒歩20分ほど歩きますが、周りにお店も多く不便は感じません。 朝食ビュッフェはそれなりに充実してました。

交通方便，旁邊食肆 不錯，只 是房間wifi 不 好有待改善。只能在大堂上 網，早餐不錯，員工超友善

大門在整修，腳踏車晚上6點後不能借。服務人員很友善態度很好。

Hotel bien situé, on en a pour son argent mais ne pas s'attendre à plus. Je dirais que si on cherche un endroit ou dormir près de Taroko c'est bien situé mais c'est un peu vieillot. Et la salle de sport n'est pas une salle de sport

必要最小限の宿泊施設

改装工事をしている最中で、朝早くから同じ階の部屋の工事が始まり、起こされてしまったことが残念です。 エレベーターも2基の内1基が工事中のため、団体客(40名)がチェックインする時と鉢合わせてしまい、自分の部屋に戻るのに時間がかかった。 洗濯機や乾燥機は各一回50元で使用できるが、1階に無造作に置かれているため、不潔感があり、人によっては使用するのに抵抗があると思います。 全体的に古いことは間違いないので、宿泊費用が抑えたい方向けだと思います。 ちなみに駅から歩くということは、スーツケースを持った人はほぼ厳しいと思います。

It's fine to stay here

The hotel was probably built in the 80s so certain parts look a little under the weather however the staffs perfectly charming attitude makes up for this as they are forever helpful and always smiling We had a small problem with the air conditioning and the hotel reception came within 5 minutes and offered us an upgrade . They reception staff helped us pack and moved our suitcases The rooms are comfortable clean if you choose to can be made up each day so all is good The breakfast is buffet style offering a selection of hot and cold Asian and European dishes it’s very good and you can eat as much as you like so we did

特に可もなく不可もなくです。

駅から少し離れてはいるが、其れでも徒歩圏内。室内は奇麗ではあるが台湾でも一般的になっているが、トイレに洗浄機はついていない。 バスタブはなく、その代わりに多機能のシャワーが備わっているが、壊れていてシャワーヘッドしか使えなかった。 三連泊をしたが、三日間とも団体が宿泊をした。ただし台湾人の団体は日本人とか大陸の中国人は比較にならない位静かだが、でも同じ階なら？それでも朝食の時はテーブルを占領されてしまうし、大変賑やかなので時間をずらした方がいい。団体の有無は道路の向かいに大型バスが駐車しているどうかで直ぐにわかる。朝食の種類は多い方で味も良かった。 フロントには少しだけ日本語を話す人がいる。困った時は助けになりそうだ。

早餐不錯～房間舒適～

已於網路付清全額，半夜抵達要入住時找不到訂房資料，耗費了一段時間。 浴室浴缸排水不佳，在裡頭淋浴一直積水。 隔音很差，從早上七點多就一直有電話響，然後外面有聲音，根本無法好好睡覺。

不會再選擇如此便宜的飯店，糟糕極了。

廁所分離式淋浴頻頻漏水，潮溼，天花板水漬嚴重，地毯粉塵多，早餐不優。

花蓮旅遊規劃完整，很好。

良くも悪くも老舗のホテル

花蓮駅まで徒歩10分程度で遠くはありません。周りに飲食店もあります。老舗なのでしょうか、従業員の対応に問題はありません。少し日本語を話せるスタッフもいます。しかし、メンテナンスの必要性を感じさせます。ホテル自体の老朽化は否めません。特に、シャワー使用時のお湯の出がたが安定していませんでした。

饭店前台服务非常客气，热情，周到在这方面很突出。我们刚到时帮我们拿行李，我们离开时又帮我们叫出租，提行李。和旅游公司联系订一日游。房间很干净，早歺也很丰富，我们很满意。

スタッフの素敵な笑顔

滞在日に、駅からホテルまで歩いて行きましたが、途中で雨が降ってきてホテルに着いたときは、そこそこ濡れてしまった状態でホテルにつきました。すぐにホテルの人がタオルを準備してくれ濡れた体を拭くことができ、快適でした。部屋はシンプルな感じで清潔でした。 朝ごはんはシンプルなバイキング形式。普通に美味しくいただきました。 難を言えば、シャワーのお湯の出るまでに時間がかかるのと、お湯の温度がぬるめ位。これは建物の構造上仕方ないのかな？ スタッフメンバー皆様親切で笑顔が素敵なホテルでした。

住客不多，但服務不錯，看得出來很用心經營。升等房間至兩大床，不過只有我一人入住。早餐比較差強人意。
