Good location, with many good restaurants very close by, including a fantastic bakery. About 15 minute walk to Termini Station, and 25 minutes to the Colloseum.
The staff was very nice and helped us a lot. Clean and comfortable.
Great location, comfy, and a fridge!
Great location for a stay in Rome, clean room, freshly made bed and towels each day. I was most inpressed that the room had a fridge, this was very convenient! We could walk to most of the attractions we wanted to see, using the nearby metro station to get firther afield. Onky a 15 minute walk to or from Rome Termini station for the airport. Plenty of restraurants and supermarkets in the area. Would stay again, thank you.
Going the extra mile
wonderful location and service. Special help with ordering taxi for early morning flight. Going the extra mile much appreciated.
There was nothing that we didn’t like. The lift was cosy. Checking in at another address was interesting.
Comfortably. Very friendly staff. Close proximity to major attractions
Great location
Great location, great host, very clean. The only negative part was that the wall are like paper and you can hear absolutely everything your neighbour does!
The staff was polite, but the room was not what we see in the pictures. The check-in is at a different location and was a long process. If you are arriving late etc...not sure what you would do. We contacted the staff about our room and our displeasure and they did offer to put us in a different room, but we had plans already made and it would have interrupted our schedule and been a long process again having to walk another block away and move all of our personal items. The door to our room also constantly locked us in. At one point I had to try and re-try the lock almost 5 minutes before the latch released and opened. This is basic things that a traveler should not have to work with. I have stayed in over 100 rooms with Hotels.com. in over 20 countries... I'm not going back to this one.
Very noisy and uncomfortable bed
This was a really disappointing stay. We reserved a room at Quo Vadis Inn but were given a room in their other property "The Guest House". The noise level is intolerable! You can hear every conversation in the rooms around you as well as hear the noise from the people above you. Another guest had to tell the cleaning staff to "be silent" when they were talking in normal voices at 6:30 am in the hallway. The bed is very uncomfortable (2 twins push together) and the room is utilitarian. We had three really long nights here. The room was very clean and serviced each day.
We had a lovely room with a small balcony overlooking a central courtyard, very comfortable and clean. The reception team were really helpful, especially as we were delayed in arriving and getting booked in. Quo Vadis Inn is in a great location, we walked to all the attractions we wanted to see and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Would definitely recommend.
Really nice area with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The first room we stayed was comfortable but noise from the street was disturbing. We came back after a visit to Naples for a few days and stayed in a room facing the courtyard- much better! Advice - ask for a room facing the courtyard! Staff are helpful and polite.
you get what you pay for
I wish I'd spent more money on a hotel nearer the centre of Rome. The metro system is small and we ended up doing a LOT of walking. Basically the room is in an apartment block. It was clean enough, very basic. Would've like a kettle and some cups as there is no breakfast but it did have a working fridge. You have to go to another apartment to get your key and although we could find it easily on the map it really wasn't clear which button you have to press on the front door as this is another apartment block: something to do with 'moon' Can't remember now but it should have been made clear on the instructions. We were lucky someone opened the front door and we followed them in and kept asking!! Having said that the staff were extremely pleasant. However, it was a bit of a pain as we left our cases on the day we checked out for a few extra hours but then when we collected our rental car my partner had to drive round the block 6 times while I had to hunt for the reception staff who were assisting on the 4th floor as the reception was closed as it was left unattended.. at least I knew my cases were safe!!!
Simple apartment with all the necessities
Check in was easy and close to the apartment. The apartment itself but was spacious, clean, good wifi, air con, hot water and close to transport, shops, and good restaurants (what more do you need!?) Staff were unbelievably friendly and helped us with our boarding passes, airport shuttle and getting round Rome. We just needed somewhere to lay our heads... Where you are staying can make or break a trip and for us Quo Vadis did not disappoint. Thank you!
Good location, with quick transport links to main attractions and lots of restaurants. Welcoming staff. The room had everything we needed (minus clothes iron, which we knew), was clean and the bed was comfortable. The building is being renovated so there is noise during the day (starting at 8:30). They no longer serve breakfast, but there are some nice cafes close by. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.
Very cute hotel. Everything was clean. Not right in the center of everything but definitely still walkable to all the sites, and very close to good restaurants. Hotel contacted me a few days before with check-in details and we had no issues finding it.
Simple and comfortable
It’s a guesthouse, not a hotel Clean and quiet The area is nice. Good restaurant and food market just nearby. Comfortable busses to city center.
Would use them again
Not as the picture but good
Weird that I had to check in around the corner and stay on another building, room is not like the one I see on Expedia, anyways the other room was big and nice! Staff is very helpful and location is near a metro station so it’s easy to move around Rome! Man anybody restaurants around the corner and they’re freaking good for Italian food lovers! Overall ok but pictures hasn’t to be updated or at least indicate that they have two properties because this is not what I booked so it’s not honest
Be warned you might not get this hotel!
I arrived late with my 10 year old son. A treat for his 10th birthday, a trip to Rome. I did my research as a mother in a big city! I found this hotel, totally perfect, great reviews and central to our needs. We had to check in at a different t location. Then we’re told we were staying elsewhere. The sister hotel. It was awful! The front door had looked like it had been smashed in with a machete! The man that gave us our keys (still no idea who he was), had to teach us how to open the front door, one millimetre this way and one the other and try again! Just insane! Took me 10 mins that eve when he had left to open the front door to the building. Apparently this was shurugged off. The room, was cold and bare and just horrible. Nothing like what is in the photos. We had boiling water and no cold water. We asked to move to the hotel we had obviously booked and got told it was full! I didn’t want to ruin the experience for my son, we only had 3 days there, so I moved to an apartment down the road. I was so upset. I would not book this unless you are getting the hotel as described and not the sister hotel, it’s not a hotel, it’s a scruffy condo in a not so good area, shame on you Expedia!
Wonderful stay!!
We had a wonderful stay in Quo Vadis Inn. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and helpful. Love the balcony in my room. The only cons is that you can heard people talking or walking in the hallway. Will definitely come back.
Not what we were expecting.
Negative points. Despite replying to owners email giving eta, there was no one at the premises to meet us on our arrival. There was no reception, just a notice on the door giving contact details for the owner to be contacted in an emergency. This system meant there was no tourist information advice available during our stay normally available at hotel reception. We contacted the owner on the emergency number and a girl brought the keys for our accommodation which was on the next block. She gave us a street map of Rome and swiftly pointed out the sights. She asked us to leave the 35 Euro tourist tax which she would collect the following day. That was the last we saw of any hotel staff. No receipt for tourist tax. We were disappointed there was no one to offer any guidance on a day to day basis. The contact number was for emergencies only. Our flight home was on a Sunday and as per the hotels advertised services, I contacted the owner on the Thursday to arrange a taxi to Chaipino Airport. I was asked to leave written details in the room stating airport name and other relevant information. We did this but the shuttle bus took us to the wrong airport. We had to spend 50 euros for a taxi to the right airport.
Good value accommodation close to centre of Rome
Stayed in the annex just up the road from the Quo Vadis. Room was clean and adequate. This is a no frills hotel in a good area of Rome for sightseeing etc
FABULOUS LITTLE PLACE!
Not enough room to properly praise this facility.Great staff, room, bath, location.Everything I thought Rome would be.Eating places every other doorway.Great meals.Exceptional coffees & espressos.Very clean room.Windows opened onto street which was awesome!Would definitely return and recommend.Luca and Valerio are superb staff.
nice hotel conveniently located
hotel was easy to find. pleasant area close to bus and metro
Contemporary & Clean Rooms, VERY HELPFUL STAFF
This suited all my needs and I found the staff quite helpful, personable and friendly! It does not have a typical hotel desk but you have a set of keys that gets you into your building and room. It was easy for me to walk to the Colosseum, Vatican City etc. or if I wanted to, take the transport links that were described to me by the staff. The room was the largest I have had of any hotel stay in Europe and I was pleased. Everything was clean, refrigerator in the room and hair dryer. I loved the windows that I could look open and looked out to the bustling street. The room was well insulated so no problems with outside noises or interior noises. When I go back to Rome I will not hesitate in booking with them again.
Amazing , will visit again
Had an amazing trip to Rome and the hotel was a key part of this. Great amenities and clean throughout as well as being close to some great local restaurants. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would be more than happy to stay here again on our next visit.
Perfect hotel to stay near tourist attraction
We were really happy with our stay at this hotel. The hotel is situated near the most important tourist attractions. For example, it took us just 15 minutes to get to Fontana di Trevi and half an hour to get to Colosseum. We love walking so we didn’t mind walking 45 minutes to Vatican, mostly because there are so many nice and interesting things to see on your way there. But if you prefer to get a taxi, bus or underground, you are close to them too. The room was quiet, quite big, really clean (there was one lady who cleaned the room every single morning), the staff friendly and helpful. It wasn’t a luxurious room, but for us it was perfect because we are not looking for that. We are just looking for a clean place to sleep, close to tourist attractions. Breakfast was not included, but we managed to find a nice coffee shop called L’altro Cafe where we just simply loved the expresso and the chicken sandwiches.
Sami is the person who helped us check in. He was amazing & super helpful! Room service cleaned our room everyday, so that was awesome! Especially considering that this isn’t a traditional hotel! The only concern I had was that the queen bed in our room was just two twin beds pushed together. So it was a little uncomfortable. Other than that, the entire stay was amazing! The location is within walking distance of everything!
Lovely guest house
We have just come back from four days in Rome with our 6 year old. This guest house was a great find; about a mile from main tourist locations which meant cheaper restaurants but everything in walking distance. The moment we walked in the staff couldn't be more helpful. Showing us around the room and even went the extra mile highlighting a map of different things to do including bus stops and train. No issues with anything during stay. On the day we left we were not rushed out of the room, told to stay as long as we needed. We left luggage in the kitchen area as flights later in the evening. We were provided keys to come back when our car was due to collect us. Top guest house would go back.
Excellent traditional type apartment
Excellent for the price we paid. This apartment is on the second floor which can be accessed via old style cage elevator or the stairs. The room we stayed in was excellent, we had air con which was used when we had to close the window which overlooked a busy street; we never heard a thing once closed! The room was clean and well kept by staff throughout our stay. The en suite facilities were good and plenty of wardrobe space. There was a fridge to use for own purchased items and television for local channels only; music channel was the one we used. The only staff member we met was Valerio and he was brilliant, i had a few issues with interest access etc but he provided all the assistance to get us going. He also provided good advice for our daily trips; thank you for all your help Valerio.
Very welcoming and helpful
Right from the start, all of the staff were welcoming and helpful. There was a map and we were given some information on the local area. The room was clean and comfortable. There was always plenty of hot water. The bed was also comfortable and the bedding was fresh and clean. Towels were provided, along with shower gel. There was air conditioning and the window opened onto the well maintained courtyard. I will definitely be visiting Rome again and will stay at Quo Vadis. Thank you to Luca and his Staff. Joanne
Comfortable, convenient
Lovely, inn style hotel, close to restaurants, shopping. Easy access to transportation to sites. Very clean with comfortable beds. Quiet. My room had a little balcony overlooking garden courtyard. Would stay again.
It was extremely comfortable, small yet simple and in a perfect place, walking distance to amazing places to eat, metro terminal and just to stroll around.
Nice Inn in the Heart of Rome
The location was great, convenient with easy transport connections. The staff were very attentive, helpful and flexible. The room was nice, clean and a decent size for two people. Thoroughly enjoyed my staff there. Thank you.
Good, clean place and close to the bus and subway. I don't like being charged for late checked in because there's no time stated as to the latest time in the website, and I can't call because I was traveling, and nothing in the little fridge and I put water and not cold
Reasonable priced hotel
Found that the management /staff very friendly and helpful , the room was comfortable and clean, towels replaced regularly.I would add that we moved to a four star hotel to join a tour party, ,their facilities does not compare with the quo vadis
Simple but Pleasant
Quo Vadis is a simple but pleaser offering from the Luca Group. Easy to find, but slightly further away from the centre than we had thought. Rooms are a bit tired but are clean and very quiet despite the relative close proximity to the main roads. We were in "Caligula" and thankfully didn't find any mementoes from its namesake. Check in and check out very personable. 2 mins walk from the bus stop to catch the 62 to the Spanish steps. Value for money option, just don't forget the Rome tax has to be paid in cash at site at 3euros 50 per person per night. Rome on a budget!
Great hotel close to the city centre
The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and in good condition. Its location was easily in walking distance of major sites such as the Colloseum. Around the hotel, there were plenty of good reasonably priced restaurants
Live like the locals
Really enjoyed our stay. We really embraced the Italian culture eating breakfast at the local cafe and dinner at locally recommended restaurants All our meals were excellent and value for money. The room was quiet and well equipped everything for a comfortable stay
Quaint Italian hotel
We had a lovely stay in this hotel - it's setting in an old Italian residential building is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are well equipped (if a little dated). We had a great time and would return!
Quiet location; good and not so good
Quo Vadis is a small inn located in a more suburban area of NE Rome. This meant it was quiet at night but a Metro/bus ride was necessary to access the main attractions. The staff were there for check in/check out but Quo Vadis wasn't staffed 24/7. They were pleasant and helpful - I had a late evening flight home so arrangements were easily made for me to leave my suitcase once I'd checked out. The room had lots of storage and was comfortable. On arrival, there was useful local information and breakfast arrangements (off-site) were explained. There was a good range of nearby places to eat in the evenings which where open in February. Quo Vadis has no public areas/other facilities; I could only find Italian TV on the set in my room.
Pleasent enough, but local transport is essential
Didn't realise that the hotel was on the 2nd floor, the lift is a bit small and rickety but we only used it once, used the stairs after, it felt safer, use the travel cards for transport, bus metro and tram, to get around well worth it, buy your tickets from the venue website beforehand, if you like to do your own thing don't bother with organised tours, that can cost more than you need to spend, save it for eating out as food and drinks are expensive.
Comfortable and friendly
Thanks so much to Luca and Sami for making our weekend in Rome extra special. See you next time.
Slightly off the beaten track
If you want to stay in an area where the Italians eat rather than one which caters to Tourists then look no further. 25 minutes walk to the Spanish Steps, 30 minutes to the Trevi Fountain and a superb collection of Branded Retail outlets for the fashion conscious this hotel sits in a quiet (but still busy with locals) residential area. We will be going back next year and staying at the same hotel. Not 5 star by any means but great value for money and Luca and Laura could not be more helpful or accommodating. The hotel has no restaurant but gives breakfast vouchers for a number of local cafes where you get a coffee, fruit juice and delicious croissant to start your day.
Fair hotel
Very loud. Could hear people talking and doors opening an closing all the time. No restaurant .
Quirky nice place, once you've found it
We took the option of catching the airport bus which took us to the Rome Terminus, which was very good and inexpensive @ €6.00 each rather than getting a taxi. Had a map from the termini to Quo Vadis but must have made a wrong turning somewhere, as what should have took us 15 -20 minutes walking turned into nearly one hour and only with the help of a very nice Italian couple out for a Sunday stroll in the lovely sunshine, did we finally manage to find it. Even then when we were stood directly opposite the property it still wasn't clearly evident as it is part of a complex of apartments behind a large double door that has a narrow personnel doorway in it. Once inside we found the room to be very nice with a balcony overlooking the gardens and courtyard. It had everything that we needed and Laura who welcomed us was very pleasent and gave us a lot of useful information of how to get around Rome, where to catch buses etc. Also she provided us with vouchers for breakfast that could be taken at four local coffee shops. We liked the Vagabondi which was very popular and had a lovely atmosphere with delicious cakes to go with their delicious coffees. All in all it was a great base away from the madness of central Rome, in among local Italian community with everything that you could need around you including several nice restaurants that we tried out each evening. Would recommend if you want a quiet comfortable base to explore the sights of Rome.
Earthquake weekend
Lovely room, quaint setting, only drawback no breakfast on site. Staff very friendly. Earthquake on Sunday morning the whole building shook :-o Would go back again
Lovely building in a great location
We loved staying here. Rooms were very comfortable and surprisingly quiet. Very friendly staff. There when you need them. More of an apartment feel which we liked. We had two rooms and one of the rooms was upgraded for me by Luca!
Quiet and elegant quartiere salario
We arranged the check in with Luca on the phone, then at the hotel Laura gave us all the information (map of Rome, restaurants, transport).Laura arranged taxi to airport, luggage deposit ,late check inn,in few words made things very simple for us.
Great value in Rome
Lovely room in a trendy local area of Rome. Lots of restaurants nearby and a supermarket 20 metres away. Very helpful staff. Easy to get to all the main attractions by bus which is easy to use. Free internet.. Hotel owner was very helpful . Nice breakfast at the local cafe with orange juice. coffee and croissant.
Brilliant hotel with everything nearby!
Me and my mum have just got back from a stay at Quo Vadis Inn. We absolutely loved our stay here brilliant nights sleep after long days exploring the city. All 3 staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and willing to go out the way for us. Colosseum is easy to get to via metro 5min walk then on the metro for only 5 min. No. 62 Bus took us straight to the Vatican city and no. 80 to the Trevi fountain. Lovely restaurants to eat in nearby that are very cheap for such good Italian food compared to the busy touristy attraction restaurants. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Beautiful hotel in the quartiere salario
The people that manage this hotel are always ready to help.Lugagge deposit, booking taxi to airport, best places to eat,Luca,Laura,Valerio, thanks a lot
Nice family run bnb
This was a great find in the endless choices of hotels in Rome. It satisfied my criteria of being cost effective, close enough to all big sights, but just outside so I have a place to escape the hordes of tourists after a long day of sightseeing. The room was clean, comfortable, and felt like I was staying with friends, as Luca and Laura were welcoming. Additionally they were prompt to address any minor issues that might have come up (i.e. slow wifi). I threw a coin in Trevi Fointain, so when I return to Rome, it will be at Quo Vadis Inn. p.s.try the old fashioned elevator. It really brings you back to a different time period!
very nice and affordable
lovely b & b
Cozy hotel in friendly, local setting
I loved Quo Vadis! All of Rome's famous sites are easily accessible yet you come "home" each day to a wonderful, local neighborhood. The hotel is comfortable with a friendly staff that is there when you need them. Area restaurants are family-owned wirh good quality, budget friendly meals. I could live in this place!
A little gem
A trip to celebrate my husband's birthday. We picked this b+b as it looked authentic Italian. We were please we picked it. We stayed in the 'Green Room' which had a balcony and overlooked the lovely courtyard. The old elevator is delightful - 1920s with wire cage etc. The neighbourhood is very safe, clean, friendly and with restaurants and cafes in close proximity to the b+b. Luca, Sami and the house keeper are very helpful and we would definitely recommend Quo Vadis. NB: Cafe 26 good breakfast choice. All locations easily accessible by metro or bus.
We were moved to another hotel!
We had an email 4 days before departure saying that we had been relocated to another hotel (same owner). This was a bit annoying as we were having a weekend break with two other couples and had all booked the Quo Vadis Inn. The owner, in very pleasant emails, said that he had upgraded us as a 'surprise' and a 'bonus'. I replied that it was a surprise but the photos of The Guesthouse looked fine. He then replied again thanking me for my understanding and telling me that he had upgraded us again to a Deluxe room. When we booked in I felt that the term 'Deluxe' was a bit misleading. It was clean, it had modern furniture but nothing that would not be in any other room. We seemed to be the only guests and as there is no reception as such, it was an odd experience. The place is on the very busy Corso D'Italia with constant traffic noise through the night and the shower seemed to have a mind of it's own where the temperature was concerned. When we checked out we were able to leave our bags at the Quo Vadis Inn where we instantly felt that we had not been given a double upgrade but had been bumped due to double booking at a guess. The Quo Vadis looked much more of a hotel and reminded us why we chose it in the first place.
Lovely place
We stayed at Quo Vadis Inn for 3 nights over Easter and although it was a very busy period, Luca, made us feel very comfortable. He sent us well in advance very useful information regarding the hotel and tips during our stay in Rome. The room was clean and spacious and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this lovely hotel. Thank you, Luca.
Good hotel good location
Stayed for 4 nights, very comfortable room very clean. Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Good resturants and bars locally but also a quiet location would definatly stay again and would recommend it.
As good as I anticipated
Brilliant stay, thank you.
Surprise Wedding Anniversary.
we went away on our wedding anniversary and the reviews for this place were good.Thank you to Sussane she helped us as much as she could with language being a bit hard between all of us....The room was good size and bathroom was very good as well,Vagabond caffe was the best for breakfast and the Casa Alice was also good for homemade food and costs. The hotel could do with a Coffee Making Machine and some English speaking channels for when you get back early from your day out,it is a bit hard to tell what is happening on the TV when you dont speak the language.....
Comfortable, quaint rooms with three flight walk to hotel reservation area. Not sure if small elevator worked. It was as advertised.
Overall a great experince! I strongly recommend it!
Loved Rome. Enjoy.
Very friendly owner, nice room and area. Best advice for visitors is the Roma Pass. Gives you unlimited access on bus and metro plus skip the line entrance to two sites. We used it for Coliseum and Forum.
Great place!
The hotel is just outside Rome. It's a perfect location. It's in safe neighborhood. Luca is a wonderful person who holds you upon your arrival on what to do and getting around like one of the locals. The room is great for Rome. It's clean, comfortable, had a safe deposit box, etc. Luca gives you a voucher for your breakfast and you choose to go to the restaurants indicated for your coffee and croissant . Would recommend this hotel
Motown
The hotel was OK, to get to the Collusem is a $10 Euro cab ride. The staff was friendly, and the price is fair for the hotel. Bathroom was remodeled and very nice.
Excellent place to stay
Host was very nice neighborhood handy to public transportation best b&b ever stayed at only nitpicking thing I can say bad about this stay is pillow was too hard but really great place great people
very clean
very clean room, great price with host, just follow Luca instructions, and you'll be fine. Thank you Luca :)
Luca you are great host
I must thank to Luca, He is a great host, careful, supportive, He guided us very well, including the tour, dinner etc. I highly recommend this stay.
Satisfied with the hospitality!
We stayed for 2 nights ans really felt home. The room was clean and spacious. Luca showed us the Rome map with specific direction for each of the attractions in the city. You can easily get there from the termini with bus in 10 mins.
Excellent telephone service
Lovely staff , keen on helping customers
Great place to stay in Rome. Well located. Luca was a great host. Spend over an hour explaining the locality and things to see, where to eat & shop... Good size room and loo. Well maintained Only suggestion is to at least have provision for Tea/Coffee...
Definitely recommended
Stayed at the Quo Vadis Inn in June 2015. Hotel is located in a residential area 20 minutes walking distance from Termini Train/Bus station and 25 minutes walking distance from Spanish Steps. It's in a residential building where a large apartment was made into a 6-bed B'n'B. At night it's completely quiet. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Too bad we didn't get to meet Luca as from what we can read in reviews he makes the stay so much better with his insights and help regarding what to do in the city etc. Staff without him tried to help us the best way they could however. Bus stop is 2 minutes away, 4 or 5 restaurants are within 2 minutes of walking, local market and 2 small supermarkets are all about 1 minute from the hotel - very convenient. If you don't need to stay in the city center, this small hotel is the next best thing, so I absolutely recommend it. One thing that wasn't so ideal however was breakfast. We were given coupons to one of the 3 tiny cafes that were close by. When we walked in, all we could get is one not so fresh croissant and coffee. In the cafe that was right next to the hotel, we actually didn't feel all that welcome. On Sunday, the bars were closed. But this was no big deal as everything else about the stay was great.
Fantastic Roman Stay!
Quo Vadis Inn was a fantastic experience and we would highly recommend it to anyone! Luca, the owner, was incredibly helpful and was such an asset to our trip! He got us situated, gave fantastic advice regarding our trip, and went above and beyond to make our visit more enjoyable. He also got us in contact with a driver to take us to the airport at a discounted price, which was much appreciated. The location is a bit away from all the main sights, but we didn't mind. We were easily able to connect to a bus or metro that would take us quickly. Or we would walk, which would take about 30 minutes depending on where we went to visit. It was refreshing to be away from touristy areas and it felt like coming home after a long day of sight-seeing. The neighborhood felt very safe and had many great local restaurants. Breakfast you receive vouchers to redeem at one of three nearby cafes. We actually preferred this as opposed to a restaurant-held breakfast, as it gave us more flexibility on when we could redeem breakfast (no time limit!), able to try different places, and interact with the locals. The bedrooms were very comfortable and gorgeously decorated. The small touches in the room were charming and added to the experience. The room and bathroom were spacious. Our room also had a mini fridge. My only complaint would be that the walls do seem thin, and you can hear quite a bit coming from the hallway or the room next door. However, the many positives outweigh that con.
Truly good!!
I was very pleased with my stay of 9 nights at Quo Vadis Inn. I'd definitely recommend this place to friends and family if they travel to Rome.
Small Motel with some Italian Charm
This is a small apartment in an old Italian building and a safe neighborhood in Rome that has been converted into a motel. The location is good, but a long walk from the key historic attractions. The business owner is helpful and offers a welcome orientation upon arrival. However, he is available only during weekdays. The apartment doesn’t include any amenities and breakfast isn’t continental as indicated on hotels.com. Breakfast vouchers are given for each day to be used in few small coffee shops and with very limited options (croissant and coffee everyday) which can get very boring if you are used to a good breakfast and staying for several days. There are restaurants in the neighborhood that are pretty good, but they don’t serve breakfast. The room and bathroom were pretty clean but the bed sheets and towels aren’t washed regularly. The building can be noisy especially when people ring the apartment’s doorbell early in the morning. Overall, it’s a nice motel with some Italian charm, but a bit overpriced for the value we got.
Excellent hotel!
1000% would recommend. Very clean, great location and Luca the concierge is incredibly helpful!
Great B&B in a great location with friendly staff.
Stayed 3 nights at this great B&B. The rooms are well appointed with the amenities you would expect and everything is very clean. The owner is extremely welcoming and provides a lot of useful information about the local area and the tourist sites. Breakfast is in the form of vouchers for three local cafes - this is a great idea as it means you can eat when you like, there is no noise from breakfast being laid out and you get to have breakfast including proper coffee in a real Italian cafe every morning (on the house - sort of!!). Local area is a little way from the centre but for us that was part of the charm as you get to see a little of the Rome where real Italians live. It's not far at all (8-10 euros in a taxi from Termini and 15 mins on the bus to the centre) but it's far enough out not to be teeming with tourists. However there are loads of restaurants, cafes, a pub and a supermarket within a 100 metre radius and because they are a little way out they are that bit cheaper and more authentic. It's also quite quiet pretty much all day which was nice for sleeping and to relax a little after all the sightseeing! All in all a great place to stay.
A nice place
After finding it,everything worked out great the owner Luca is there for your needs. He a nice man and manages the six room property well. It's to bad I couldn,t use my ten percent discount from hotels.com but if I did I would not get credit for the stay, and that was 8 nights. I don,t understand why they give you a discount and take it back somewhere else.
Amazing weekend in Rome!
The hotel was great! Centrally located to all sites in Rome with either walk or public transportation access. Luca and staff were very helpful with planning out our days and how to access the various sites around town. Very charming and romantic rooms. My girlfriend and I felt very safe and comfortable during our visit. We would definitely stay again and recommend to other travelers!!
A little gem...
My daughter and I have just returned from a 4 night stay at Quo Vadis Inn and would highly recommend it to others. We were welcomed by Luca who was so kind and helpful throughout our stay...nothing was too much trouble. It was like having our own personal tourist information officer on tap, making our stay hassle free. The property itself had a real eclectic mix of styles that worked well and gave a real sense of being in Italy. The area felt very safe and was surrounded by a variety of restaurants and cafes, as well as a nearby supermarket and some small and attractive shops. A gem of a place and we would certainly use it again. Every hotel should have a 'Luca'!
Pleasant and enjoyable experience
We were at the hotel for one night, out of 7 nights in Rome. Very recommended hotel, very clean, and especially we wanted to thank the director Luca that was such a nice and kind person. Luca received us very kindly, agreed we receive your room early without asking for an additional charge. After showing us the room he sat with us for a long time and gave us a map of the city, drew her to the nearest bus route which was very helpful to a great extent, we used this bus every day stay in Rome. Luca also recommended us to a great restaurant near the hotel and also the nice cafes good breakfast.
Value for money
Spacious clean room with a choice of 2 local nearby cafes for breakfast. A bit of a trek from the train station and metro, but taxi to the station cost only 7.5 Euros, so save your tired feet if you have heavy cases! The manager Luca wasn't there on the day we arrived as he goes home for the weekend, so we didn't get the local rundown until our last night. He did however send us an email about places to visit for the next leg of our trip, which was great.
Family of 4 to see Rome
Perfect location and a real taste of Italian city living. We booked this on the recommendations and reviews off Expedia and they were 100% right. Luca is an exceptional host (speaks fluent English) and was thankfully on hand to advise us to make the most of our stay with regards to the sights of Rome.
Lovely place to stay
We had a lovely 3 nights at Quo Vadis Inn. Luca was so helpful and a pleasant host. Comfortable and clean rooms. Good wifi connection was very helpful to us as well. Breakfast vouchers were used in nearby cafes and we enjoyed the food. Overall recommended.

Très bien situé. Très bonne communication en direct et par WhatsApp. Accueil par Alex parfait
La atención del personal, tanto recepción como personal de limpieza, fueron muy atentos y detallistas.
Really nice place to stay it was near the Colosseum and the main station Termini. The room was clean and big enough

Would recommend…
Very nice and accommodating staff at LHG Comfy Rooms. Bianca, Luka, and Vanessa. I stayed there for several weeks and the hotel was clean and quiet. Good neighborhood in Rome as well with several restaurants and coffee shops.
