The hotel was amazing. Immaculately maintained with incredible staff. The room was beautiful and had a nice balcony overlooking the city. Breakfast was excellent with a mixture of buffet and cooked-to-order items. Staff were excellent and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend.

Hanoi Lheritage Hotel is the best location in Hanoi Old Quarter. The staff were astounding, very friendly and warm. Hospitality is unmatchable. The hotel itself is decent and clean and really gave good value for money.

Great hotel in a perfect location. The staff here were excellent and very attentive. The hotel manager went above and beyond to make sure that I was happy with my stay. Everything was great but the standout of this hotel was the breakfast. It was very high quality and the dishes were rotated daily. They served decaf coffee (very rare in Vietnam) and it was absolutely delicious! The room was very modern, comfortable and looked brand new. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Hanoi!

My wife and I stayed for two nights in December to explore downtown Hanoi. It’s a great location. Nice rooftop restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Comfortable beds. A small but perfectly serviceable gym. The breakfast has a variety of western and local options. I will definitely come back and recommend anyone to stay here!

The staff was first-rate. The breakfast spread was good & varied, and the views from the roof-top breakfast room were really nice. The location is in the heart of the old district, which is a plus. That means the hotel is an easy walk to sites, as well as shops and places to eat. The problem is the street noise. If you stay in the back of the hotel, there's less noise but also a small window & no balcony. If you stay in the front of the hotel, you get large windows & a lovely balcony, but you hear the cars honking all night -- unless you stay on the 7th floor. The 7th floor front room is really the best bet -- you get a wonderful balcony, large windows, and reduced street noise. You have to pay extra for it, but it is worth it.

Disappointingly shabby. Many comparable hotels in the area with lower rates; many similarly priced hotels in better shape. We were one night and out. Next time, elsewhere.

Was transferred to L'hertitage Diamond. Offered upgraded to Deluxe room whick was great.staff was English spoken polite helpful and nice.very Near st Joseph Church which was magnificent. Walking distance to the lake which near to many eateries n clubbing place. Will definitely recommend.

Nice location, elegant, clean and comfortable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning had many options and was delicious. Only regret was that I couldn't stay longer!

The location was great - the room(s) not so great . We had family interconnecting rooms - whilst the kids room was quite spacious with window & ok bathroom , our adjoinging room smelt damp/musty with no windows ( prob why it smelt damp / musty!) Quite noisy with " echoing " , loud corridors and lots of smoking in rooms ( which permeated the hotel ) even though rooms were Non smoking . Changed our planned return visit to another hotel .

The hotel is great location and convenience in the center of old quarter. The walking street is closeby and all day tours have free pickup form this place. There are some indian restaurants between 5-10 min walk. The hotel also arrange for the Ha Long Bay cruise which was cost effective and also seamless. Kudos to the receptionists that took care of the family trip!

Specifically ordered twin beds but when I got to the hotel we were told sorry fully booked and only double bed left!

The location of Hotel L'Heritage is very central, convenient close to everything. Staff is very helpful and welcoming. We had a nice room with 2 beds in the back, so very quiet. Buffet breakfast very satisfiying, except they did not have espresso machine and I need my espresso or Latte in the morning. I would recommend this hotel which is also not expensive.

The property is beautiful and in a very good location. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told that we should go to the sister hotel at a better location. we had not slept and went along with this but soon realised it was not a better hotel at all. We went back several hours later and the wonderful manager upgraded us and arranged for all of our luggage to be collected. Would recommend the hotel but do not let anyone talk you into going to another hotel!

Unbelievable service

When we first checked in, we were not happy with our room - it had a strong odor and it was very dated. We told the front desk and the manager (Emmanuel) came out. He couldn’t have been more friendly, helping, and understanding. He said this hotel was about to undergo renovations and they would move us to their Diamond hotel. Our new rooms were outstanding and the service was always amazing.

The location is fantastic, but we did have a room on the first floor overlooking the nearby intersection and therefore night noise is an issue if you are a light sleeper, otherwise great value for money

The room we took waa excellent. I took the jacuzzi room. In the photos in expedia portrays that the room consist of both jacuzzi and a patio, but in reality only a jacuzzi. But nonetheless very nice room. The young bespectacled doorman is very nice. His command of English is good and he is very helpful too.

Sorry, loud, horrible beds. I have no idea why this property is rated highly. Our sheets had not been cleaned. There was hair inside the sheets.

We stayed at L’heritage hotel for one night in March before heading off to the ha long bay cruise for a few nights. Upon our first night we automatically got upgraded and had a great night. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted and the bed was very comfy. The hotel were very kind to keep our luggage in storage until we arrived back from the cruise. We had an slight complication with our cruise booking that the hotel made for us but this was positively rectified by the hotel. After the ha long bay cruise we stayed in the hotel for a further 3 nights and were in a different room which unfortunately was positioned opposite the stair well so we heard every conservation of passers by. The rooms on the lower floors do not have a window which did not bother us but it is worth checking with reception upon booking. The breakfast is average, a variety of traditional Vietnamese dishes with western cuisine. It isn’t anything to be excited about but it is included in the price so we did have breakfast even just for a coffee. Overall the stay was ok for what we wanted.

The property was easy to find and access, situated in an ideal location.

Overall it’s a good place to stay. We booked a double room with balcony but actually a room without balcony would have been more suitable for us. Hanoi is very busy so with balcony we were able to hear the busy streets.

Very good location on a street with cafes, massage spa and local food, walking distance to the old quarter and lake. We were upgraded to bigger room, very clean, comfortable beds and beautiful view. Thanks for lovely surprise birthday cake and bed petals decor. All staff was so friendly,kind and helpful, they have make us felt so welcome, very attentive to details. We arrived hotel early morning train from Sapa to Hanoi to do Halong Bay cruise. So thoughtful of them to arrange early breakfast before the pickup to leave for cruise, and also arranging a room for us to freshen up.

First, the hotel is perfectly located in the old city of Hanoi. All the attractions are in a well reachable distance and you are in the probably most interesting part of the city. Most important, however, they organised all the trips for us (at very good prices), helped us with whatever we needed and made us feel home (everyone knows your name). Breakfast is really good - especially the French toast.

The hotel staff was superb and accommodating. I don't think I've ever had such a great experience such as this. We received 5 star treatment from the moment we arrived, to the staff carrying out our bags and waving us goodbye. The facilities were wonderful as well and I just wish I could have stayed longer!

The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. They kindly packed away 4 sets of breakfast when we had to depart early in the morning. Everything was done well.

I liked that they have an elevator. I know it sound basic but for the price, sometimes this kind of hotels don´t have one. I didn´t like that the room did not have any windows. Also, the toilet did not work properly and it was unconfortable.

Great hotel. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Location was good, was able to walk everywhere in Old Quarter. Room was lovely and clean. The hotel also offers to organize all your excursions and it is very well organized. A very good place that we recommend

Enjoyable

Really friendly and helpful staff, very clean, the beds are all big enough and comfy and hotel is really close to all that we need. Its really a short walk to the lake to enjoy the morning stroll on your last day of the trip if you want to spend some time out again without worrying too much about getting back hotel too late. Good breakfast too..

The hotel fulfilled all our expectations. Our room is spacious n clean. Bed is comfortable. The personell was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was good with both a buffet and a menu to order. Highly recommend this place!

Pictures on the website is a lot more glossy than the actual hotel, the room air-conditioning did not work very well with the room being very cold.

This is a Great location, good breakfast. Friendly staff

Staff were very courteous and friendly - especially the girls servicing the breakfast crowd. Always had a pleasant smile and happy disposition. Made you feel appreciated for staying at the hotel. Only minor set back is that the breakfast selection is not too great and after 3 days became boring. We had the junior suite which was great size and very comfortable. Worth the little extra cost to have this room for longer stays. Thanks again to the “breakfast” girls. And their recommended 1 day tour was exceptional. Anna explained that it is a little bit more for this tour but rated much higher than the cheaper tours. Tour was very good but the high light was the wonderful people that we met on this tour. And Sonny - the guide was full of knowledge. But No 1 was the driver whom was exceptional in his driving skills ! All in all - 5 Stars ! Merry Christmas - All !

Value for money

We booked a suite however our suite does not come with a balcony as mentioned in website. However it is still a nice room. Room service is pretty slow. More than 40mins waiting.

The staff was fantastic! Always pleasant and very helpful. I enjoyed the room service and local dishes. My room was clean and comfortable. Good location. Highly recommended - will stay again.

Great stay!

Staff were very keen to please. The room and the bathroom are totally clean, comfortable and nice. The breakfast abundant and delicious, with a lot of different choices. They can also arrange the tranfer from/to the airport for a very fair price! A really good stay in Hanoi.

Very nice and modern hotel in the centre of the old town. The rooms are spacious and very clean. he staff was super nice! They gave us a warm welcome and all the explanations needed for our first night in Hanoi.

This was a most wonderful hotel. Could not fault anything. The staff from the cleaners to the manager were just so nice, friendly and helpful. Room was beautiful with lovely jacuzzi bath. Always kept clean. Hotel is central in the old town. Breakfast was plentiful and food really nice. I will definitely be back.

Hotel rooms: very spacious. We got the suite with two connecting rooms. Very clean and nicely decorated. We had a welcome half bottle of wine on our arrival. Plates of fresh fruit and complimentary bottles of water every day. Good breakfast. Definitely will return to this hotel next time we visit Ha Noi.

We were given a warm welcome on arrival, with welcome drinks and lots of information about the hotel and local area. Very friendly staff that goes above and beyond to make your trip a memorable one. Breakfast was incredible, room service is delicious and fast.

Service at the hotel was exceptional everyone was very helpful. Pictures are deceiving as these must have been taken when the hotel opened. Great location and breakfast selection was good as long as you don't mind a more Asian style. Would recommend.

The staffs were very nice. Warm welcome and helpful advices. Support (Ms Anna) was very helpful to organize for us other legs of our trip in Vietnam out of Hanoi. The breakfast is great as well.

The hotel staff go above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. They took great care of us: they kept our luggage while we went on a 2 days/1 night trek in Sapa, they let us take a shower before the overnight train, they made sure we were taking the correct train at Hanoi train station, and so on. The rooms are design, comfortable and clean.

Staff were fantastic, great local knowledge of where to go and what to do and assisted with everything. Restaurant had great tasting food and a good menu to choose from. Room was well equipped and very comfortable bed.

Decent hotel in decent price

It’s a good hotel. But the pictures of the building I bet you miss leading. However the service was very nice. The breakfast was nice. I wish there were more vegetarian options. There are tons of shops and the lake is also very close to the hotel. The staff is just too good. Because I was on my honeymoon to actually set up the room very quickly for me.

Best breakfast buffet in Vietnam for us. Everybody is so nice and lovely. They really care about you. You should go there when you are planning to stay in the old quarter.

Perfect service and staff

The hotel is very centrally and conveniently located in the heart of Hanoi. The facilities and appliances are all state-of-the-art, the interior is stylish and original. The cleanliness of the room and hotel generally was impeccable, the breakfast was wholesome. I was most impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, especially Emanuel Son, who do their utmost to make guests feel welcome and to have a great time in Hanoi. I had a great time staying at L'Heritage Hanoi and would strongly recommend staying at this hotel.

My first trip to Hanoi. Location was perfect. Walking distance to everything that I needed. Folks at the hotel was extremely helpful with every single details. They even saved me money by advising some of the details in the city. I asked them to make the room nicely scented, they had a electric oil lamp before I showed up. Breakfast had plenty of nice choice. In the heart of the old district touristic place, but not noisy. 3 minute walk to the best Food spots, taxi stands, bike rides. If you are visiting Vietnam for the first time, and trying to decide if this is a good spot...I assure you...you can end the search and book it here. If I ever return, this is where I'm staying.

The hotel was newly refurbished. The hotel met our expectations from all possible aspects. The room was clean and the service was very good. The breakfast buffet was rich.The L'Heritage Hotel is very modern, clean and friendly hotel. Great meeting place if your friends are staying elsewhere. If we ever go back to HN we will choose this hotel again.

The hotel was a great for our staying in Ha Noi. It was within short walking distance from Dong Xuan market. The staffs were friendly and helpful.Miss Anna at front desk was very helpful.The rooms and hotel are clean and fresh. The free breakfast was a bonus but could have been of better standard.Internet is available .We would stay there again.

After a good first stay, 2nd stay disappointing

We went on a Halong Bay cruise after our first night stay. The manager told us they would hold our bags. As we were leaving the bags were still in the lobby, he told us he would put them in a safe place. When we returned the next day from our cruise, our bags were still in the lobby. The staff told us they were there the entire time. Very frustrating, I would have brought them with us. We tried to check in and they just kept telling us to take a seat. We were trying to get to the museums that afternoon and we were hoping to just drop off our stuff in the room. After 10 minutes of them telling us to take a seat so they could give us a welcome drink of water, we find out that the rooms are not ready. we arrived well after the check in time. they wasted a lot of our time, making excuses rather then dealing with the problem. I think if they are going to provide a service of bag storage, then provide a safe locked area for the bags, and don't try to deceive. Would not trust them to stay here again.

A good hotel to stay!

Comfortable!.The room with terrace made our day! must choose this room style if you ever consider to pick up this hotel. the staff's introduction of old quarter area was nicely helpful, and the staff at the front counter were first rate. Always happy, welcoming and helpful with itinerary and ideas. Easy walk to everything.

Excellent service!

We had a warm reception, while waiting for our check in, they served us refreshment- drinks, fruits and snacks. Very hospitable staff at reception and breakfast. Breakfast selection was good, rooms were clean, v comfortable and of good size. Great location and love their recommendation of food n shopping places on their map. They were accommodating and extended one of our rooms for late checkout.

I stayed one night and would like to recommend this hotel to the travelers in Hanoi. The staffs are really kind and offer great service to every guest. Thanks to them, I could have much great information to enjoy in Hanoi.

Great place

Staff are very friendly and the room are very comfortable. Fresh roses in room and everything is clean. Great breakfast with choices and the rooms were a perfect size and the bed was very comfort, nice balcony view. the most catchy part is that is they provide travel advise. I would highly recommend L'Heritage Hotel anytime to anyone who would like to stay in a strategic location in Hanoi’s Old Quarter.

Perfect service and staff

Staffs can speak English fluently, so friendly and warm. One of the staff, Anna, explained about the places in the area spesifically since the first time I arrived there. They also managed anything for me right in time. They will make you feel like family. Thanks to Anna and her team for the help during my stay. - Although the hotel is located in small lane, the hotel near some tourist attractions and markets. Room and bathroom are clean. I had a very nice sleep. You will feel like home. - Breakfast was good enough and worth the hotel price.

Amazing and worth for money

Every staff of the hotel is warm and helpful, with comfortable services. Very worth for money, room was big and quite well maintained. Location is good, there are many street stalls selling Pho and other food. The most impressive hotel I used in Vietnam. Thank you so much for everything.

Wonderful stay and a real value for money

Welcome drinks and fruits were provided. We were quite early as we had an early flight and was only planning to leave our luggage and go around the city, however the staffs were kind enough allow us to check in as early as 10 am, and on top of that, we were provided a free upgrade. We also booked our Halong Bay trip through the hotel. It was perfect! I really enjoy my stay in this hotel. Will stay again for my next Hanoi Trip.

Nice hotel and friendly staff

The stay did not start well. The family room which we booked was not available and we had to make do with two adjoining rooms. However, this was well compensated by the ever friendly and helpful hotel staff.

Perfect service

This is one of the few properties where in every staff we met was ever so resourceful and genuinely nice. The customer service manager they had come out of their way to help us with everything from giving us a map to sightsee around the city to helping with talking yo our cruise stay at halong bay to getting local sim cards to currency exchange and everything! All worked out perfectly.

Decent nice hotel. Super helpful staff! All of them made our stay in Hanoi much better! We also bought Ha Long bay tour from hotel and as well street food tour with perfect guide. All worked out perfectly. Location was also very good. Nothing to complain about!

The room is spacious and bed was nice and comfy. The free breakfast had lots of variety and was very good (loved their beef and chicken Pho, fruit and juice selection and sunny side up eggs). Staff was all very friendly and helpful (there is a list of recommended place to try but would be helpful if there could be more recommendation on more local places like where to go for manicure/pedicure or hair wash that doesn't charge tourist pricing in addition to the few spas that are recommended.). The best part that made it really excel in service area was that we left our luggage there before heading to Ha Long Bay and when we came back our luggage was already in our new rooms which made check in super easy and was greatly appreciated after a long drive drive. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Hanoi.

Very nice stay at L'Heritage Hotel. It is located in the center of the old town, so very close to all the nice places to visit and chill around. The hotel is very clean, the staff is really nice and helpful to organize all the transportations (train, buses...) and even to recommend other hotels for our next stops. Strongly recommended!

Friendly staff. Great room, comfortable bed and pillows. Clean bathroom with the best shower. Good variety at breakfast. We left to Sapa and had them book the train ticket for us. They even transferred us to the train station for free. As the train leaves at night, we had the opportunity to have a shower just before we left to the train station. Taken together, we can really recommend the hotel, especially for the friendly and helpful staff!

Exceptional Hanoi hotel experience

Although we only stayed for one night at the end of a week in Hanoi this hotel was one of the highlights. Very comfortable room, an exceptional breakfast, a complimentary room upgrade and the most helpful and friendly staff we have ever met made this a great stay. Would definitely return to this hotel again and will recommend to anyone coming to Hanoi in the future.
