Excellent stay. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Our luggage was delayed and delivered to the hotel. The hotel staff took care of it all for us. Very pleasant stay. Wonderful area with great shops and restaurants. Wood happily stay here again.

Good location

Large hotel in a great location. The metro was close by and it is walkable to the city center attractions. Good restaurants close by. The room and bathroom were spacious. The room had the basics and had a safe. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean. Would like to have had a luggage rack in the room. The beds are very firm and the pillows thick, not comfortable for us. The hotel was very busy and we could hear noise from our neighbors and above us. Gratefully, The room access door handle was changed out when we were there to a lever from a ball handle. It was difficult to grip the ball handles to turn them. They offered a full hot and cold breakfast. Very good.

The Leonardo Hotel is a nice facility with great location. Unfortunately the bed sheets showed wear and tear and/or were stained/dirty. Staff is friendly and kind.

The location and hotel accomidation is excellent. The buffet breakfast was very routine and same items every day, I wish there is a change in some breakfast items each day it would have been lot more enjoyable. Overall it is good hotel choice for our trip to Madrid.

Exactly as advertised, the only thing I didn’t like was the smell of the hand soap. It smelled like burnt hair … I ended up buying a personal hand soap because I couldn’t stand the smell.

El hotel tiene excelente localización. Muy cerca de restaurantes, tiendas, la Gran Via y la estación de tren. El desayuno no es variado pero es muy bueno. El servicio en la recepción y en la habitacion fue excelente. Lo que no me gustó es que todas las habitaciones tienen 2 camas de una plaza (twin). No hay habitaciones con camas queen o king.

My daughter and i arrived exhausted and let jagged straight from the airport. We reached the lobby at 11 and without even having to ask, the front desk staff gave us a room. The room was discuss, clean and luxurious. It had a beautiful view of the city. It's a 20 minute walk or one more ride away from the happening neighborhood of Sol, Malasana, etc We decided to get this on our way out as well.

Very pleased with the hotel and the staff. The amenities were great and the attention to detail excellent. My only criticism would be the value. The cost of hotels have gone up to where it is getting restrictive to travel.

Great location, friendly people, safe And close to metro station. Grocery and Pharmacy nearby. Rooms are large, clean and nice. Only complaint is walls seem a bit thin, sound travelled at times.

We had s great stay. Ideal central location. Nice safe area and good transport links. Room was modern, clean with everything we needed.

3 night tourist visit to Madrid

Friendly staff with easy and quick check in. Room was ready upon 1 hour early arrival. A/c worked fine. Elevtric at both night stands. One had 2 usb outlets. Bathroom with bidet very nice with luxurious bath towels. Safe was secured to floor of closet which required getting on knees to access. Just BBC for tv in English. Metro very close so location to travel to tourist sights very convenient. Location was safe and convenient. Staff very friendly and helpful. Madrid hotel prices are high like most large cities, and pricing here reflects that fact. Beds were comfortable. Overhead room lighting was lacking which made the room somewhat dark for packing in early AM.

It was close to the subway station.

Couldn't hear any street noise, but the walls are thin and you can hear everything in the hallways as well as the plumbing from the room above.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel was clean and well kept. There is a metro station about 2 blocks away, making it easy to get to and from the airport. We walked to most places: about 40 minutes to Parque del Retiro and about 50 minutes to the train/bus station. There are also lots of good restaurants nearby. The drawback of the hotel is that it's expensive for what it is. It's a nice hotel, but not worth the price in my opinion.

Room was okay but no real place to sit and relax. Nice view though. Service was excellent and overall a decent experience.

Very nice, however their floors are not covered by carpet, the rooms neither. Very noisy when people are on the corridors, above you and it carries voices that can be heard in your room. Having had Incidences when people departed at 5.30am and was woken up. Then one man with a young daughter came in at around 1am, morning, again waking me and could not go back to sleep. The reception has 24 hours attendance so why not inform people that they are not alone in that place. Other people paid good money too to stay there and visit the Madrid.

The location is good, can access anywhere either walking or with mass transit.

El hotel por el precio no los vale. Caro. Desayuno incluido muy pobre. Los huespedes de todo nivel. No lo recomiendo.

Well placed, not too close to the commercial centre, but within easy walking distance. Close to better quitter, less touristic dining areas. Facilities ok, rooms slightly larger than average, but still not palatial. Offered early check in but was not available on arrival, still bag storage was fine .

I liked the property and the access to major areas by bus or walking. What I did not like was the leaving at 5.30am making a lot of noise and this happened twice as well as last night a late traveller with young child talking loudly at 0.30am. being a light sleeper, being woken up like that does not make my day happy being short of sleep. Another problem is that the floors are stone in the whole building and this noise carries. I enjoyed the city, however the hotel should have a look at improving their rules for hotel quests. Suitcases can be left downstairs if you have to travel early and telling quests that talking loudly carries as well as steps.

Good location

Very nice hotel in Madrid's city center. Staff was helpful and the rooms were good. Especially the beds. A few of the hotels I stayed at during my trip didn't have very comfortable beds. These were great.

Muy buena experiencia, no es un hotel de lujo, pero todo funciona bien. Hay varios negros cercanos y además si se te da caminar, en 25 minutos llegas al centro y a la estación de autobuses. Todo limpio, seguro para dejar tus cosas incluso sin caja fuerte. Quizá un poco ruidoso, no por el ruido de afuera, sino que a ratos escuchabas conversaciones de personas del hotel o el abrir y cerrar de puertas. Volvería a quedarme ahí.

Great location, and the facility is well kept. The staff was really friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was really good. I definitely would be back to this hotel.

Excelente hotel lo único que el Sr que nos atendió a nuestra llegada fue un poco rudo con la bienvenida, llegamos súper temprano y al pedirle ayuda con un early check in por lo menos en una de las 2 habitaciones que teníamos reservadas se negó de manera rotunda y con tono de molestia hacia nosotros, parece que le estábamos quitando su tiempo a pesar de que éramos los únicos en el lobby a esa hora, pero apartando el comentario el hotel bien vale la pena por todo menos por el señor rudo que al parecer no sabe mucho a cerca del trato de huéspedes 👍

This is our second time staying here. Although it's still a comfortable hotel, this time we had a few problems. When we got to the room, we noticed the shampoo dispenser was empty and asked them to refill. The guy at the front desk said he didn't have any and that he couldn't get any until the following day after we would already check out. So, we had to leave without washing out hair. I also found the floor to be less clean than last time. The quality of the beds, water pressure, and air conditioning still make this a good option.

Hotel is in a good location, easy to access subway. It's an old building but I expect that in Europe. So the room was quite small and we could definitely hear people in the hallway. Overall I think it was good value.

The hotel is clean and nice. The staff are kind and helpful. The breakfast included a lot of options. The location is very convenient and most of the city monuments are located within a 2 km distance. The only downside is that since it is located alongside a major street, it is not completely quite at night.

Would have like better housekeeping, we were guests for 10 nights. Our bed sheets, for example, were only changed at the tail end of our stay, after 8 nights, which I did not appreciate. Toiletries, toilet paper and tissues were not refilled daily, ran out a few times.

Everything was excellent! Breakfast, service, and the shower's water pressure were also amazing. The hotel is located in a perfect place, near supermarkets, restaurants, and bars. Aircon. worked perfectly, elevators run fast so you never wait.

Very well located. The breakfast was excellent. The room was so dark and small. The bathroom counter was so small that we could only put one set of toiletries at a time. The shower head was broken. The room was so dusty and the air conditioner malfunctioned.

Quieter, less touristy part of the city but still very easy to access the rest of the city using public transit. Modern rooms.

Great stay in Madrid

The stay was very good. I enjoyed the hotel. Turns out it is very well situated in Madrid with everything not too far away.

Or only complaint was with the air conditioning, the lowest we could set the thermostat was 24 degrees C. We were able to get the from desk to adjust it lower on a master control 2 of the 4 nights but if you touched the thermostat it would go back to 24 and depending on who was at the front desk you may or may not get it adjusted. Location was great for dining, shopping, and getting transportation.

La calle del hotel está cerrada los domingos, como cortesía a sus huéspedes, podrían informarlo, casi perdemos nuestro tren por este motivo. El desayuno bastante escaso de opciones, suciedad y papeles bajo la cama.

Quiet hotel minutes from metro station

Great hotel in quiet part of town but just a few minutes walk from metro station. We had a room for three people, it was a disabled room so plenty big enough. Could have had more light in the room as even with all lights on and curtains open in morning it was a little dark - like all hotel rooms! Great blackout curtains for nighttime though.

Nice hotel

Our room was available early and it was beautiful. I loved having an espresso machine, balcony with view, comfortable lobby, and easy access to the metro.

Pleasant stay in a well-located hotel

Pleasant stay here for 2 nights with my son. The rooms and hotel were modern enough, although a little basic/tired in places, but fair for a 3* hotel in the city centre. Location was convenient for walking or using the Metro. The twin beds were on wheels, so they moved around a lot, but otherwise fine.

Reasonable prices and rooms spotless, great job done by cleaners. Close to the metro so, easy to access the city. Main problem was soundproofing. People talking and coughing in rooms next door clearly audible. People coming in at night very loud as no carpets to deaden the sound so had disturbed sleep.

I understand this is a Spanish City, however i felt the staff was not very engaging or helpful. Nice clean room however was small with s very boring window view of the back of other apartments. No bar or restaurant you could just go and sit in, unless umyou ordered breakfast

No complains about this hotel although not as central as we would of liked, Madrid is so spread out it’s difficult to be dead centre but there are so many taxis about, it’s easy to get from A to B. Comfortable, clean and plenty of breakfast choice
