The hotel’s description promised a "comforting indulgence," but unfortunately, my experience didn’t align with these expectations. On the night of the 3rd of September, a loud screeching noise from the air-conditioning unit kept me awake, which was particularly disappointing after already changing rooms due to similar issues. Additionally, I noticed mold in the bathroom, a persistent leak outside the room, and neither room I stayed in had a bath plug, making the bath unusable. These issues detracted from the comfort that was advertised. The most distressing incident occurred when I accidentally got locked in the bathroom during the night, without my phone, and had to wait about 10 minutes to free myself. At checkout, the staff kindly asked if I had been contacted about another room change following my complaint to Expedia, but no one had reached out to me. Given the short duration of my stay, it wouldn’t have been worth moving rooms again. While the staff were friendly and tried to assist, my stay was far from the "comforting indulgence" described. I kindly request compensation for the inconvenience and discomfort I experienced. Please note that I have photo evidence of the issues mentioned and can provide them if needed.

Staff was nice when we checked in but there was no one at the desk when we left in the morning and needed a cab to the airport because the trains weren't running (also a security issue). There was a ton of mold in the bathroom and some in the bedroom--I can't even believe it was rented in that condition. The shower head fell on both of us as we showered. The extra blanket was stained. A dog was barking incessantly.

On the critical side: The hotel quite unclean, dust in many place, water marks in the bathroom etc. The bathtub plug did not work, the shower door was loosely connected and did not look too stable. Spa was "under construction" which was a major disappointment as it was not indicated during booking. There is distinct cigaret smoke odor near the elevators and on the steps leading from the parking. The staircase leading from the parking is utterly disgusting, and unsafe, with rubbish and exposed electrical wires. By the way, the reasons we know that is that the elevators were not functioning half the time so we took the more active way to the parking lot. After the first night we got a call, asking if everything is ok. I mentioned all of the above, and I was assured that a manager will get back to me. I am still waiting. On the positive side: Some staff made (successful) efforts to provide us with an extra folding bed when we checked in late at night.

The property looks very old. The toilet did not work, the tv had burnt pixels all over , broken tiles all over the room and very strange smell. Also old elevators and no food service late in the evening. The only good thing is that the hotel is close to the train station. This is not what I would expect from a 250$ per night hotel and I don’t think I would return there.

10/10 breakfast

Front desk, Oksana, was perfect. Helpful, funny, and warm. Her patience while I settled my credit card issues helped me keep my cool. Parking cost 60 shekels as it wasn’t part of the hotel property, but was super convenient elevator access to the lobby. Room was clean, view was great from the 15th floor. (Though in winter the windows don’t get cleaned as often…) Bathroom also clean, shower water pressure was very good. Booked a breakfast meeting and was sitting there from 7:30am to 12:30pm. Nothing but service and accommodation. AND THE BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS. It was exactly what you want from an Israeli hotel breakfast. They nailed it.

There is no plug at the wash basin in the guest room toilet. I can look into the disgusting drain pipe directly whenever I washed hand, brushed teeth. The swimming pool’s scum channel is dry and with trash. I think the pool’s water level is supposed to be higher than the channel. I suspect the water pump of the pool is off - the water is not being regularly filtered/ sterilised as it is supposed Ito be.

Hotel is easy to get to, and has good parking. Clean. Quiet. Good service. Not in a part of the city where there is any nightlife. The hotel feels like it was built 30 years ago. Rooms have old feeling to it. I guess that's what happens to 30-year old hotels that have not been seriously revamped.

The air conditioner did not work properly so the room was very hot and would not cool off. The sheets on the bed were not big enough to keep from allowing the sheet to expose itself which was unacceptable for the price you pay per night. The front desk failed to provide a wake up call that was requested and when I checked in they failed to provide me access to the business lounge or provide any information on what was included in my stay. The hotel's information sheet the pool was open until 2100 but two different employees provided different times, one said 1800 and the other said 1830 which made it impossible for me to utilize after work. The management was wonderful- the digs? Not so much. They moved us because of incredibly loud sounds, then the cleaning people never came in after. We had to ask for towels. The management was great in trying to make it right, but it would have been better to not need them. The rooms are nice, the water pressure is amazing, the walls are paper thin, and the customer service (outside of management) is lacking. Would not recommend. Disappointing stay.

The room had a horrible noise coming out the air con. The hotel did not respond to our requests to move or to get it fixed. Even though we reported it twice, they did not react to it. We were also woken early by someone banging on the door repeatedly asking for laundry who did not leave when we didn’t answer and just kept banging on the door until we got up to speak to them. The room was not cleaned well - the bed was made but there was dirt on the floor even after the hotel cleaner had been. The shower was also a bit broken and didn’t switch fully over from the bath to the shower function. Despite this experience - disturbed nights and mornings, broken shower and not that clean - the hotel refused to refund us for one of the nights. The customer service was frankly poor. The hotel advertises itself as “newly refurbished” but it certainly doesn’t seem that way. We paid a lot of money to be there and the experience was disappointing.

Decent Place to Stay

We stayed at this hotel because it was pick-up site for a tour we signed up for but would have preferred to stay closer to the beach. Parking was very convenient and inexpensive in the basement of the larger complex within which the hotel is located. The breakfast spread was quite good with a good variety, but no other meals were available as we were there during Passover. Unfortunately, there are few restaurants within walking distance. Wi-Fi was decent, and the outdoor pool and sauna were nice; the gym has fantastic equipment that is very well kept. Our room was decent, but the bathroom needed a bit of updating and repair with water issues. We'd stay there again if unable to be closer to the beach.

Filthy. Just filthy.

The hotel used to be a Sheraton hotel many years ago, when it was one of the nicer hotels in Tel Aviv area. No it’s a Leonardo, and it seems that it wasn’t cleaned or maintained since then. The shower has mold and mildew everywhere. The carpet is filthy, full with stains and you can tell where people walked. And where not The lethette is peeling off furniture that were left for too long in the sun. The blackout curtains have holes in them. My 3 year old daughter found nails on the carpet. There are ton of brown finger marks on the light switches, and in general it seems that this building needs a serious deep deep deep cleanup. We stayed in a suite and ordered an extra bed for the little one. Which we had to beg until 10pm for them to bring. When someone finally arrived, he brought adirty sheet and a pillow, and went away. We had to set her on the sofa fo the night. We paid close to $4000 for our stay and I wish I new the hotel condition before.

Good Mid-level Hotel - Nothing Special

Newish hotel in Ramat Gan. It is situated conveniently for business travelers but when we were there it was filled with tour groups. Breakfast was nice Israeli buffet but was frequently overcrowded with tour groups racing to finish breakfast before their buses leave. Very understaffed during these periods. We had mixed experience at bar/restaurant. Mostly, we had good Israeli style service - very casual, nice, if inattentive and slow. But one time the service was terrible. I asked the waiter if we were interrupting his cell phone call. Don’t eat here except bar snacks. Club sandwich is inedible. Pizza was OK. Bar close early - no liquor sold after 11 pm Front desk staff was excellent. Very helpful and welcoming. Manager has this group performing well. Overall, the hotel is fine. Nothing special, but clean, convenient and well located for business travelers

This was a convenient hotel for business being just across the street from the Tel Aviv north train station. The room was a bit run down however and could use some fixing up. Breakfast was ok but service was poor. Took a lot of work to get someone to bring coffee, which should never be the case. Hotel does not deal well with valuable belongings that you might have forgotten in the room. In my case I left leather jacket in the closet during checkout and when I inquired about it in the evening on the same day they told me that cleaning staff reported nothing, saw nothing and there was no jacket in the room. I wish this hotel would be more humane to such mistakes and would allow you to retrieve your valuables if you forgot them during checkout. Worth noting that every time I passed by reception I saw somebody arguing violently with manager. Little did I know I would be one of them.

I am please and very happy to be part of your guest. Your service to your guest are strongly recommended. When we check they help me call the next hotel that we were going to stay. And Amir help us to find a taxi. He patiently wait outside to get the taxi for us. I am very thankful for all the staffs and the management of Leinardo City Tower.

Mediocre business hotel

It looks at first sight like a reasonably comfortable business hotel. But it’s oddly dysfunctional - apart from the excellent elevators and generally friendly staff. There are numerous minor flaws that are cumulatively annoying. These include – unstable wifi, virtually no food in the lobby on Shabbat, room doors that are sticky to lock, shaving mirrors in wrong place, toilet flushes that need an instruction label to operate, poor quality shampoo, undrinkable instant coffee in room, flashing phone lights that won’t switch off, eccentric TV remote control, unsafe windows on high floors, grubby carpets in hallways of some floors, lack of undiluted, fresh orange juice at breakfast, frequent absence of milk on breakfast tables (that at times are not adequately cleaned), dim bedside lights, somewhat erratic room cleaning service. The pool is small and overcrowded at peak times. If you're on an expense account (as many residents probably are) you won't care much, the hotel just about does the job; if not, you'll want to give this place a wide berth. Sorry to be so blunt but that's the truth....

YUK!! The filthiest hotel I have ever stayed at

First room had bugs and a terrible odor. The second room had mold, a saturated old stained carpet and a 2 dead mattresses ouch together to make one bed. It was so disgusting dirty I had to switch rooms at 3 am in my pjs and they even did that begrudgingly, as though I should be content with paying for a dirty moldy room. Yuk!

Very good hotel but not for cars or beach

The hotel is comfortable, the breakfast was great, the pool is nice, and the location is close to the train station which gives you access all over Israel. This hotel is not a good choice if you 1) want easy access to the beach and 2) have a car. The problems related to this hotel is the construction surrounding it which makes driving very difficult. Even Waze and Google Maps were confused about how to arrive at the hotel given the lack of access routes to the hotel. The other problem is the parking. The ads for this hotel need to specifically state, at the outset, that parking will be underground in a lot that is not run by the hotel and at a rate of at least $21 a day, depending on the exchange rate. Many hotels in TA provide free parking or parking at around $5 a day. This was very frustrating.

Nice hotel, centrally located.

In the centre of Tel Aviv. All the necessary amenities are included + spa. The nearby area lacks of useful stores, like groceries and big super markets. A few restaurants exist near the hotel within walking distance. The hotel's restaurant is quite decent.

Hotel on the Highway

This Hotel has no direct booking and I've been waiting after readdressing to it provider Fattal dozens minutes and didn't get an answer only musike and advertising. Before to book this hotel I tried to call about parking but nobody picked up the phone. This hotel situated next to most lauded highway in Israel and railways station. I ask receptionist for room facing on opposite quiet side. She said this is a room I will have. But after getting in we saw that our bad thoughts comes through - all traffic was just out from window, It was impossible to open window leaf because a noise. Then we found in the bathroom desk covered by constructive trash, small stones and dust after some fixing. The lamps above the bathtub was malfunction. We call to receptionist but nobody answered even after retrying to call again. This hotel has no parking but has elevator to drop to the parking previously he owned. You can get down to the parking but can't get back to the lobby because the door is open only outward and when you press the bell to receptionist to open the door it's not open because the receptionist doesn't reacts. In the room TV is hanged with by the angle upward so your look is not meet the screen perpendicular. In the room some sockets have no power, in the corners of bathroom is a mustiness.... Some confusion with the payment. I was charged for VAT in 91.90 NIS it is like 25USD. I was charged by Expedia 36.17 USD because my points. VAT in Israel is 17%. ????

Convenient location, good breakfast

This hotel is a non-smoking one, however the smell of tobacco is strong in the corridors and rooms. Guests smoke behind their rooms door and the management seems unable (or unwilling?) to do anything about it. Cleaning rooms means dusting and sweeping and mopping under the beds. It's disgusting to see how much dust and debris is under it. The management should feel ashamed to charge guests money for using the minibar to refrigerate food. Asking for 10 ILS after charging nearly $150 night is ridiculous. There are some really nice people in the hotel staff doing their outmost, but unprofessional behavior is also common. For example, the gym coach giving a real go-over to his wife on the phone in the middle of the day. Speaking of gym coaches, these guys seem to be really bored, stuck with a newspaper or their phones paying nearly zero attention to the visitors.

Hotel near Diamond district

Hotel has nice size rooms but doesn't provide much drawer space for clothing. Bath tub/shower is very high and I think dangerous. We had to change rooms to get a disabled room to provide more support to get in and out w/out the fear of falling. Also, the cleanliness of the bathroom which were were originally in was not great. We made the hotel management aware but a second"cleaning" of the bathroom only showed slight improvement. Moreover, we returned to the room to find the door wide open as the maid forgot to close the door. The breakfast buffet is very good and the pool/gym facilities are nice. Food in lobby restaurant which is available for room service could be better but not terrible, except for the pizza which seemed like the heated up frozen pizza. Also, the Ice which we requested and paid for was brought to us in a plastic bag and not a bucket. I remained at the hotel for the full stay only because it was prepaid before we arrived and it was close to relatives but probably won't again. Lastly, the hotel management penalized us for two days of our original stay even though we contacted them asap about ELAL cancelling our original flight and rebooking us for a flight 2 days later. They were well aware of the issues the airline was having w/their pilots as it was being well covered . Expedia was kind enough to reimburse us for one of those days

Good for layover

We chose this hotel because it was close to the train to the airport for a one night stop. It's big and modern with a comfortable bed. The best part is the spa and pool attached to it, which allows guests to go for free. The staff were mostly unfriendly and apathetic. When asked if the lobby bar was the only restaurant, we were told yes, then later discovered another restaurant. Asked to check out at one instead of noon, and they would not accommodate us. The lobby bar is fairly pricey. Adequate hotel for a one night layover, but would not recommend for a longer stay

Make sure you know Ramat Gan is not Tel Aviv!

I came to Ramat Gan to hear the inimitable Booker T Jones at the Yahalom [Diamond] Hall, which turned out to be a charming venue. I knew I was booking a business hotel in the Diamond District adjacent to Tel Aviv. The directions/map on the website weren't clear, so I called the reception desk at the Leonardo and was given perfect directions from the near-by Central Train Station in Tel Aviv. The reception staff is knowledgeable and welcoming. I did not use the voucher for a free drink and snacks at the hotel bar or any of the many amenities [gym, restaurant] offered. My room and bathroom were generic but clean and comfortable. I left on Friday morning and took 1 of the weekend newspapers [Hebrew and English] near the front desk. The Leonardo exceeded my expectations.

I can't say enough good things about the staff. Without exception, they were gracious, helpful and hospitable. Hotel, though busy, was quiet, so it was very relaxing. Loved sitting out by the pool in December. We had a wonderful warm streak while we were there.
