The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The wonderful young man at the front desk even helped me find medicine for my cold. The breakfast was wonderful with a great variety of options. The hotel is very modern and clean and quiet.

Wedding visit

All good, seam less check in, good breakfast

This was an extremely dilapidated hotel. Fixtures are rusty, furniture is old and shows extreme wear and tear, I will not choose to stay here ever again. The staff person Rohit definitely helped us with securing train tickets. But the condition of the property is below mediocre.

Great Family Stay

Great Experience, Breakfast was Good and lots of variety

The rooms were large and clean. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. My only issue was with the taxi provided by the hotel. For the cost, the taxi should have been in better shape and the driver should have known the area better.

Breakfast needs severe improvement. In-room facility could be improved too.

Close to many restaurant and hangout place. But during the weekend night it's very crowded and taxi is not allowed to enter the area, have to walk a little bit.

Good location but breakfast is good only South Indian dishes. Continental food is so so. And amenities especially shampoo is not so good quality. But location is good staffs are friendly.

needs management attention

hotel is overused, needs immediate cleanup, maintenance & investment in blocked toilets. Staff who attend phones line need to learn English. Considering these issues, price of rooms is expensive for foreign clients.

Ac stopped working at night. No free parking even when the hotel said so.

Pathetic experience

Pathetic! At reception had to wait for more than 20 mins as this hotel folks were retrieving my booking details despite of sharing confirmation.

Ok stay, wouldn't return

Nice reception area, breakfast was ok, room was a little dated but had all facilities required. Service slow, booked a non smoking room but when we arrived we were put into a non smoking room that stank of smoke so had to wait for another room to be made ready for us.

Good hotel. Helpful staff. Right in the heart of downtown Gurgaon, yet easily accessible from the highway.

Good, but crazy airport transfer driver!

In general the hotel is excellent, however it is showing its age a little - my room this time around had a musty smell coming from the bathroom as soon as you entered and it didn't really go away. Also, the safe in my room (one of those where you enter a code to lock it and then the same code to unlock it) ran out of battery(!!!) which meant that the night before I was due to leave I found that I couldn't get my passport out of it. After calling reception and explaining the issue with my passport they did send someone to come and open the safe manually, but it should probably be something that is checked more regularly as it was quite alarming. I had a driver for the week provided by my company, which was fine, but I took the airport transfer service offered by the hotel for both journeys to and from the airport. I have to say that on the return journey I did wonder if I would even make it to the terminal - the driver was going way too fast and weaving in and out of traffic and in front of lorries in a lunatic fashion - it felt as if he was trying to get there and back as fast as humanly possible, never mind the rest of the traffic on the road!

Near where I need to be at the right price

All went very well. We were near our meetings. Hotel was a pleasant surprise.

A boutique 4 star hotel

This is a very pleasant experience staying at Optus Sarovar Premiem Gurgaon in my first trip to India from US. The hotel is pretty new as the photos shown on the website. The wifi connection is stable and ok to use video conference. I got a good package with free airport shuttle round trip, free breakfast and dinner, free wifi, and free 3-piece laundry everyday! This really help for a week-long business trip! The staff is nice and kind, and the free half board buffet has numerous choices. Workout equipment at gym is new and well maintained for 24hr use. Nights on weekdays are really quiet. I already booked my next trip here!

Nice hotel close to the airport

This was the second time I was staying at this hotel. The location is very convenient for me and there are lots of restaurants and bars close by. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff are quite friendly. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in staying at Gurgaon.

bad experience from hotels

We booked four twin bed room but they said the twin bed rooms are not available because they didn't know we need twin bed rooms. We choose this hotel only because they have twin bed room available. If they don't have twin bed room, we have chosen Crowne plaza which is nearby. And we have booked the car for airport drop one day before checkout, but reception forgot.

Nice to stay at hotel, we stayed with our families and relatives who enjoyed in the hotel.we had booked 7 Rooms.

Pleasant Stay

The stay was pleasant. Service is good and it has all the trappings of a business economy hotel. Overall very happy and have good restaurants.

The hotel was good, comfortable and quiet, services met expectations. There is a small shopping mall near hotel. But there was no ATM machine near hotel.

Staff need some intense training in hotel management. Property is in excellent condition. Wifi/internet connection needs a lot of improvement and higher speeds if they want to have business customers

Restaurant Staff drags down nice Hotel

The hotel itself is nice and the front desk staff professional. Can't say the same about the waiters and their "managers" in the main restaurant at the lobby level. What a sorry bunch of dull, inept and careless staff who seemed to be in serious need of a training in hospitality. They gawk at you when you walk in instead of greeting or asking how many in the party. The service goes downhill from there on. The table we were seated at was not set up on more than one occasion. The 2 guys in charge were busy gossiping as two girlfriends would at the cash register instead of ensuring the waiters did their job. Had to repeatedly ask for this or that because evidently these guys seem to be floating in a world of their own. Seriously these guys survive only because this is India and there will always be a crowd willing to pay for mediocre service because either they think it is world class or they don't care.

accessible room

This was my first trip to India. I am a wheelchair user and travel on my own. The lift is large and the accessible room is a good size with a big roll in shower room/wet room, the staff are attentive to say the least. The airport transfer is good. But I felt that I had no other option but to use the hotel arranged transport for trips out ect. Consider the location before you book.

Comfy quiet rooms (even over Diwali)

Really enjoyed my stay at the Optus for few days over Diwali. The hotesl is clean and pleasent and has good services. The gym is a little tiny but fortunately was never busy. Shame the pool are on roof was never really attended so went unused. Only dissapointment was that car booking service at hotel lacked some co-ordination with delays and little over priced for simple AC cars should cost in Gurgaon.

Consistently very good

I have stayed here more than 6 times and every visit i have found the hotel to be excellent. Staff are great, transport is reliable and rooms very comfortable. Will stay here on my next trip to India too.

Great Value

Good central location and great staff. My family and I stayed here our first night in Delhi en route to Agra and liked it so much that we re-booked for our return trip.

I would stay here again!

A good level of hotel in this price range, in fact they endeavor to keep up with those more expensive and it serves them well; keep trying and do not change would be my response. A few things to consider however - the walls are not very thick - in the morning it served me no purpose to put on the news as I could easily hear it from next door; the water in the shower was talking one morning, you know speak one minute then pause the next - not ideal although the next day this did not happen at all and it was a constant flow. I'm also not sure why free papers are still given out, are we not trying to save the environment these days?

Really good business hotel

I've stayed here many times; rooms are fine, service excellent, food good. Really recommended, and good value too.

Very Good Hotel

Stay was very comfortable. Was traveling solo on work. Very clean and high tech rooms with almost everything controlled by a touch button beside your bed! Very good services indeed. Overall I would go there again to stay but the only minus was the taste of the food. Even indian dishes were very bland and without any taste. but ya if you are planning to have meals at other places there are ample just in a 2 min walking distance.

Great location and good service

Had a very good stay after my wife's surgery in Fortis hospital . Needed to stay near the hospital . There is a market nearby and good eating joints with lots of variety.

Happy Stay

We stayed 2 nights. Check in was efficient. We were provided welcome drinks. Staff were great. Door guys were great as well. Buffet breakfast selections were reasonable. Rooms were very clean with modern facilities such as electrical controlled blinds, electronically controlled lightnings and even electrical converters and usb charging. WIFI was fast. Metro station was bit far to walk, but eating facilities and Kingdom of Dreams were withing walking distance. The hotel also had its own restaurant. For shopping then visit Ambience Mall, Gurgaon if short of time. Its been a happy stay for us.

Good for a business trip

It's close enough to the airport and offices or Gurgaon to be convenient. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, and the service is good. The food isn't amazing, but it's perfectly acceptable. Overall, a good hotel, which I will use again.

Average Business Hotel

The Optus Sarovar Premiere is very nice and very comfortable. It is a typical business hotel situated in the brand spanking newly developed Gurgaon which to the eye of the Westerner has little-to-no charm, but which is conveniently located near the Airport, therefore if you are like I am, and use Delhi as merely a hub, and occasionally have to spend the night before an early morning flight, its in a great location. ONE WARNING: Do not allow the hotel to arrange a car to take you to the airport, find the number or the websites for either MERU Cabs or MEGA Cabs. THe fare from DEL to Gurgaon is not exhorbitant. IN a pinch and in a hurry, I had no choice but to take a hotel cab. They unashamedly charged me a 600% mark up, which I just assume has something to do with luxury tax. The hotel is clean and adequate, but I will always consider that charge especially annoying.

I have stayed at this hotel many times, and found it an extremely pleasant place to spend my time. The people are very friendly and service oriented, the food good, and I'd have no hesitation recommending it.

Excellent Hotel

I stayed 3 days . Staff was so nice and helpful. I was not feeling that good .The staff was soo caring and i was getting call from hotel manager every time there shift chenged . Food was great .I will stay next time too.

Great stay

The hotel was accessible and close to a metro station with shops in the close proximity. However the photo used in the advertisement is not of this particular hotel. Staff were quite helpful and welcoming. We were slightly disappointed as the room initially allocated to us was although fantastic the air conditioner was not working. Hotel staff tried to repair this but we did not want workmen in our room for long as we wanted to relax and therefore asked for a change of room which was facilitated but the room was not as amazing as the previous one. Overall a good hotel and I will stay there again.

I didn't think much of the stay. They gave me a first floor back room facing the diesel generator sets. I was staying only the day and asked if I could have the breakfast immediately on checking in, it was 10.15am, I was denied. No promised fruit platter came too.

The bed was very comfortable and cozy. The staff was very courteous and friendly. Their breakfast spread can be better, but the food was fresh and tasty.

Nice Experience

It was an overall nice experience staying at the hotel. I think that this hotel is a bit overpriced but then so is each hotel in and gurgaon.

Friendly, attentive and professional

Good points: The room was very nice, with a pleasant view of the Kingdom of Dreams. Staff are very attentive and are happy to go out of their way to help. The buffet lunch and dinner is very good as was the breakfast. Not so good... The shower however changed from hot to cold every 15 seconds or so. We had the classic room, a little small for us and our 4 piece luggage set.

Staff, service, room equipments, and location are all very good. Especially, staff and their service are perfect. I prefer to stay here again.

High Tech Sophisticated

Great Hotel, the American Style of Business Hotel, which suit any type of travelers. Only the staff needs some proper training. That is not their fault that they cannot take a whole picture and stick on small detail and losing the money at the end. Penny pincher narrow minded manager at my late night check out charge me 100 rupees for chips, which bar tender failed to deliver - and where I spend 5, 000 rupees. Overall I spend over 20 000 rupees between the bar and the restaurant. Hotel is great, but I will not spend any extra money there, will go out to eat and drink.

Great Hotel

The hotel suited me perfectly. I stayed there for 3 nights. Ate at their restaurant for 3 days so I spent roughly 20 000 rupees between the restaurant and the bar. Here how narrow minded manager Anish was so as the clerk Anshul. I took 100 ruppees chips from my room because the bartender failed to give me chips not so spicy. Actually I asked for simple bread which they serve for free at the tables. He said, he will charge me for the bread. So I ran to take my chips from the room. At the end they charged me that 100 rupees for the chips. I think it's lack of imagination of the training the staff. Based on that penny pincher attitude of the staff I would stay at the hotel, but would never spend any extra money on food or drinks at that hotel. Over 20 000 rupees profit on one customer I think it's a good profit. Hence narrow minded staff ended that for the future.

Always hit the mark...

I've tried a few hotels in Gurgaon now and this is by far my favourite 'affordable' hotel. It is officially only 4*, but compared to the other 4* hotels I've tried in Gurgaon this is seriously on another level and definitely rates alongside the 5* hotels. The rooms are modern, clean, comfy and very well equipped (including being able to plug UK plugs direct to all the sockets, no need for adaptors), fully free wifi and nice little touches like complimentary cookies and chocolates every day. Staff are super friendly and helpful. I've stayed at the Optus three times now on the trot and have had a great stay every time. The location next to Leisure Valley is pretty good for Gurgaon, especially if you get a park facing room and make sure you check out the light and music show in the park at abut 6pm every night. There are two Metro stations not far away if you're adventurous and want to venture into Delhi. I sold this hotel to my other work colleagues after my first stay and it's now our hotel of choice. I will definitely be using this hotel again...

Good hotel in good location with poor duty manager

Good location - right next to Kingdom of Dreams theme park, Bikanerwala and good food mall. Front desk staff is below average - told me a 7 km location will take 1 hour when in fact it never took more than 30 mins in my 8-9 trips. Front desk refused to get a regular taxi and would only order a hotel cab costing me 750 Rs over 150 Rs for a regular cab. In room dining and food was very good - Breakfast buffet staff was great. Housekeeping was great too. Worst was the lady duty manager who had really really poor communication skills and was never helpful.
