The hotel is really great. Staff friendly and helpful, rooms are clean so is the rest of the hotel. Just the location is a minus if you want to get around. Traffic towards the hotel in the evening is terrible. NOT THE FAULT OF THE HOTEL 😊 if you just wanna stay there and walk around that area you should be fine

Absolutely no faults about this hotel. This was my fifth time in Dubai and my first time at Le Royal Meridian. It is miles ahead of every other hotel I’ve stayed at in Dubai, the staff are so helpful, the dining options are all great, the rooms are amazing and there is a pool to match everyone’s wants. If I’m ever back in Dubai, this will be the only place I stay. Amazing.

Terrible staff

The guy in the reception was really terrible and unfriendly. I asked to arrange for breakfast on the day of departure and a transportation , he refused and we walked away. Unfriendly and trying to up-sell all the time. The arrangements that were agreed on were not held and we had to complain over the bill to remove the errors. Also the service staff at the restaurant did shout and scream over a bill my associate forgot to sign. we spent thousands of dollars in this hotel and this kind of unfriendly behavior is not making the stay pleasant. I understand that the staff is driven to sell and probably get % of sale but they do not know how to behave with guests.

We stayed at this hotel when we were coming back from visiting our son in Melbourne in 2018. We loved the hotel and chose to stay there again this year. It is even better now. It has been extensively modernised and it looks fantastic. The staff are all really friendly and helpful and obviously take a pride in the hotel. The service is excellent. Beautiful landscaped gardens with several swimming pools. Excellent choice of restaurants. I can really recommend this hotel. We can't wait to go back again.

I am disappointed .. if you want yo relax by the beach , its not possible .. There is a bar and night club very close to hotel called Zero Gravity .. my god , ıI have never heard such a loud music .. they start in the morning and they continue until 3.00 am in the morning .. even the sound proof windows don't work .. I called the police to report incredibly loud music but that didn't solve the problem either .. The hotel is very nice , it has a beautiful garden but the loud music is enough to destroy your vacation ..

Could have been a little better

The resort and facilities are nice and updated. The service was a little spotty. While some of the service staff are gems, some other employees just stay there or do the bare minimum. On our first night, we were faced with the situation where the hotel was hosting a Christmas dinner and the sound and music was really loud until 10:30 pm. There was no notice this was going to be happening. The next day, there was music again until 8 pm, and no electricity for a part of the day. To me it didn’t feel like a 5 star hotel. Other facilities were good.

Wonderful green territory, despite proximity to Marina the beach is very quiet and clean. The staff is very nice, and the service was great. Would recommend for family vacation.

Make sure to have a room facing the ocean, the rooms facing the back have a really terrible view and a LOT of background noise from the factory / industry building located behind.

Good location and facilities lovely friendly staff

Wonderful few days at the hotel, always a very relaxed and comfortable hotel. The staff are wonderful and food options superb. The beds and pillows are like sleeping in a cloud! As the grounds and pools are extensive there is always a lounger, sun and shade available. This hotel amazes me on its constant cleanliness and attention to detail. We will be back again.

This is an amazing hotel and I will definitely return here. I came as a family with my wife and daughter and we had a great time. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and respectable. The hotel is clean throughout and has great on site restaurants as well as amazing kids club. The room was cleaned once a day and then the staff would could round again to make sure everything was okay and if anything else was needed. The only issue can be the WiFi at time which I hope will be improved. Perefectly located at the start of JBR so you do not get caught up traffic

Very clean, good dinner options and great stuff

I chose to stay here recently because of all the wonderful reviews and now I understand why. The staff are lovely. They cannot do enough to help. Whatever you need, they will try their best. The rooms are lovely - stayed in a tower king room overlooking the resort - I loved the balcony and the plush decor in the room. I spent my days just laying by the pool, all the staff there were wonderful and were always on hand to help with beds or drinks and snacks. The hotel is in a great location just near to the marina. There’s a supermarket right outside and a taxi rank that’s constantly full of cabs so it’s ridiculously easy to come and go. This hotel is quite busy though! I didn’t expect there to be so many people laying by the pool in August, I always found Dubai to be quiet at this time of year but from speaking to a local taxi driver he said this resort is always busy. I think that’s just testament to the staff and how relaxed and welcoming the atmosphere is.

The hotel was excellent with al facilities. What made our stay memorable was the staff overall. Always at your service with a smile. Could not do enough. Very children friendly and safe.

We have been going to Dubai literally for 40 years. Nice hotel Recent refurbish, it looks like. One tower being done at the moment. Check-in staff were friendly. Customer service lady in reception was very helpful. The pool area does not bring you small bottles of water like you get elsewhere in other hotels. That was a disapointment as they could filer and bottle it themselves at negligeable cost. Breakfast buffet is 8/10 compared to other countries, but a 6/10 compared to other Dubai hotels. But is certainly adequate. service by pool staff was non-existant unless you went to the bar. Maybe because we were on the end of the row, I don't know. But much better pool service elsewhere. Not allowed to have a small bowl of nuts at the pool bar incase you drop any in the pool, the guy told us. We can presume we were trusted, like young children might not be. Quite odd. The hotel is a good location for JBR and marina walks in the evening - especially if just Bed & Breakfast as loads of places to eat along the strip and at the marina. We have stayed at tens of different hotels over th eyars. This was outr 4th or 5th stay in the Meridien. The good parts were let down by silly negatives. But the usual question - would we stay there again. It is a 'Yes'. But we will see how that stay goes.

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff and great location

This hotel has been brilliant for years! An oasis amongst the new tower blocks surrounding it but which do not detract from it. All the staff are fabulous from cleaners to managers - always friendly, attentive but not overbearing and very helpful. My 14/15th visit and o know there will be many more.

Great location at JBR. Very good for kids- 3 pools, nice beach, great play park and a good kids club although can only leave for 2 ours without returning. Room was a nice size and the housekeeper was excellent. The choice of restaurants onsite is great in the evening, food from around the world. Downsides are that the outside area is very busy- pools and beach, probably as these are shared by the GH across the road, which is a big hotel. Also, out rear facing room was pretty noisy in the morning but I guess front facing ones will be noisy into the evening so maybe a trade off.

The property is great, everything worked went better than expected especially the customer relation department. special thanks for Ms Assang - a true professional duty manager with a holistic eye on the customer and service. Great place and location

From the moment we arrived at the hotel everything was perfect. The greeters at the door, staff at reception, members of staff around the reception area were all very friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Our seaview room with balcony was amazing and there was always plenty of bottled water left in the room, along with housekeeping twice a day. The pool and beach attendants carried your towels and found you loungers. The grounds were spotless and well maintained. I could go on and on praising the hotel and staff and will return in the future.

Great place!

Staff was really friendly and helpful. All the guys in the front down to the lifeguards were amazing. Beds were comfortable and the facilities were very clean.

It was my second visit to your hotel and I will be back.

The area at the beach is now really busy, and noisy with all the boating and skydiving.

Great stay, super family friendly

We stayed at Le royal meridien with a 6 month old baby and what struck us most was how friendly all of the staff were. Everyone interacted with our little one, opened doors and tried to help wherever they could. The rooms were large and the sea view from the balcony amazing. Our favourite food was from Maya and Zenga. The brunch at Brasserie 2.0 on Saturday was also good fun.

fantastic stay, hotel and its staff were great. few tiny issues for a 5 star hotel but nothing serious. really surprised that the room mini bar fridge was empty ( particularly when checking in they demanded a credit card to cover any hotel expenditure) I'm sure they've got their reasons but ill never understand them.

Time to repair the rooms

The room had many issues that were not taken care of. The location is very nice. Food excellent. They have an in house nurse for covid testing which is very helpful.

Overall it was a very good stay. Location was good and there was a lot of green area which we appreciated a lot.

Only stayed one night- service from check in to check out was great. Very kind and helpful staff, welcome drink upon arrival. Accommodated adjoining rooms for us and the rooms were lovely! Wish we could have spent more time here.

From check-in at the Le Royal Meridian Beach resort and spa to check out the whole seven days we had at this hotel were truly wonderful the staff exceptional they do their upmost to make your stay as happy as possible only downside was they are doing some minor changes towards the club rooms so the walk to the beach is a little longer but that's it everything else superb would I recommend the Royal Meridian most definitely. We have stayed there on several occasions and always been very happy with the hotel and this visit was no exception we will be returning

Pool staff Great Job! They have done a great work to maintain the large vastness of the property as green as possible.

Hotel staff is very friendly, especially Nick at reception was very helpful. Excellent food and service, amazing choice! After going around other hotels in JBR, were convinced that our choice to stay in Le Royal Meridian was right. Only one observation - would be nice to have a shower right after leaving the beach, to wash off the sand from the foot before going further. Other then that- everything is perfect.

This was a memorable stay; the property was immaculate. The design and décor were top notch around common areas and into the rooms. Upgrade to the VIP Club lounge, it was nice to walk in and eat Breakfast, lunch and or dinner during the generous time slots. We also enjoyed dinner at Zengo and in room dining as well. Plenty of pools spaced out and cabanas for everyone. We made our way to the beach where more cabanas and another bar was, plenty of staff to meet all or our needs everywhere. The water was crystal clear and the beach well maintained. There were peacocks around and plenty of photo ops. From check into check out this was one of the best experiences in my travels so far.

A great stay

The best hotel I've stayed in whilst in Dubai. I couldn't find any faults; the breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and quiet, I had the perfect view of the palm and beach from my room, room service was quick, and the staff are always so welcoming and kind. I had food with some friends at Maya, and they were really impressed with the hotel. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to others.
