Staff more than happy to help. Sleep and breakfast perfect, sound proof windows do the trick.
Muy bonito y barato hotel
A wonderful gem.
Most welcoming hotel staff I have met. They are kind, cheery and very willing to offer help. Really enjoyed my stay. Room was small but well designed to maximise space efficiency. Toilet was sparkling clean. Very impressed.
Staff was very attentive and professional. Very clean hotel and lovely!
Nice premise but did not realise rooms were tiny & lift was even smaller just emough for 1 person with 1 luggage..
Great location. Close to Gare du Nord, Poissonnière Metro Station and numerous restaurants.
Small rooms but Paris is like that. Spotless.
Great staff with lots of ideas where to go and how to get there. Always happy to help you … Would definitely return …
Very friendly staff
The hotel itself is so convenient to the railway station literally 5 minutes walk away and yet on a really quiet road. The staff were all really helpful able to help whatever the request and so knowledgeable about the immediate area and beyond. We will return 10/10.
I really liked how clean and spacious the room was -- that was the best part of the whole experience. it looks just like the pictures advertised. The amenities were lovely -- I definitely used the slippers. And its so conveniently located to the train and bus lines.
Excellent staff and location
I wouldnt asked more from this hotel. It was very spacious comparing other city hotels in Paris. Very clean. They cleaned the room every day. The breakfast was great for this price. Highly recomended
The Hotel had an Art Deco feel about it.
Beautiful, spacious. Good coffee all day, amazing personell. Will stay again
Did the job for one night. A lot of homeless people in the area in the day, the hotel is a bit dated, the 24 hour coffee bar was not restocked in the morning when we were leaving. So-so overall.
Hotel all excellent. Staff very helpful with good communication prior to arrival. Within a few minutes walk from Gare du Nord. Hotel able to provide luggage storage after checkout.
I enjoy the design of the room was fantastic. The air conditioner was great especially during our stay. The breakfast was extremely good. I will recommended to our friends.
Great stop over spot for early morning trains!
Stayed for a couple of nights whilst watching the Olympics. The hotel was the perfect location for accessing all types of transport into and around Paris. Loved how quiet the rooms were. We did hear a baby crying in the room next to us whilst in the corridor but when we went entered our room - nothing. Excellent decor, helpful staff and would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Pris
Great place to stay. Breakfast was great, beds were comfortable, staff was extremely friendly.
Clean, friendly staff. Handy for the Gare du Nord with some good eating and drinking places nearby.
Staff was friendly
Friendly staff, great location for Gare du Nord. Despite it being a busy area the streets around the hotel were quiet and we even heard birdsong in our room! The family room / suite had a mini kitchen area with a sink and microwave. The room safes weren’t working when we were there, but they said they were trying to fix them. The staff offered to take our valuables into the hotel safe, but in the end we left them in the room and nothing was touched at all. Will definitely visit again on another trip to Paris
No issues
quiet hotel not far from Gare du Nord
excellent customer service.
Lovely stay!
Perfect location for me. Easy walking distance with suit cases to La Gare Nord and La Gare este
Enjoyed our short stay at the Le Rocroy. Room was very small but we knew this upon booking. If you have lots of luggage, I’d recommend you book a larger room so you have space to move around. However the room was very quiet. Location is great - short walk to Gare du Nord.
Comfortabel & friendly staff
Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and furnished nicely. Bedding was comfortable. Great location near Metro and Gare du Nord, many restaurants nearby.
Staff was nice and helped as best they could. Shower wouldn’t drain. Room was clean and in good condition. Area was decent and very close to the train station. Overall good stay
Lovely hotel, very clean and bed was very comfy. Staff very helpful and location was perfect for our early Eurostar.
The staff were incredible. They made our stay so pleasant. As far as the hotel itself I would read it as a seven out of 10. The area and the neighborhood doesn’t seem so safe. We put this because it was closer to the airport
Great stay
We needed a hotel near Gare Du Norte. this one was perfect. Great room, great service and great breakfast
Pricy for what you get
Very overpriced fir what and where it was. Limited facilities Not on easy transport route. Selection of restaurants in easy walking distance. Breakfast way way over priced
Good for short stays
The room is a very small to what we used to in US but do the work when you're looking for something walk-in-distance to restaurants and stops. We stayed for 2 nights and as a couple. Breakfast was good as well. Keep in mind mayor hotel in Paris don't turn on the A/C during night.
A lovely long weekend stay
Staff were friendly and polite. Room was a good size , decor nice , beds were really comfy. The rooms are exactly as their website Great transport links for eurostar / airport / Paris CIty Centre.
The hotel was just fine. The room was quite small, but that is to be expected in this price range in Paris. Staff were fine. Breakfast reasonable for the price. I would go back.
The staff were extremely helpful and very knowledgeable about the area. Every reception staff were friendly and kind. The room was clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed. The location was perfect- right around the corner from 3 different metro lines. Still within Paris and accessible to all the major destinations, but in a unique and quiet neighborhood with character.
The place is conveniently located a few minutes walk to the Eurostar. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful.. The extras provided such as, mancure, shoe mit and even the bathroom products were much better quality. I highly recommend staying there.
A fantastic, reasonably priced hotel. Very close to metro stations and walking distance from nice restaurants. The staff were very kind and helpful.
Exceptional staff and location! Recommended!
Fantastic stay at Le Rocroy! The front desk was exceptionally nice and accommodating. They really stood out from all the other stays on our trip. The hotel was quaint, clean, and friendly. There is a small elevator/lift (large enough for two people or one with luggage) and there is a stationary bike, elliptical, and treadmill in the basement. The breakfast provided a good selection for us and our 3-and 6-year-old. The room was very neat and clean. Being paranoid about bedbugs in Paris, we searched for signs before settling in and found none. They provided basic toiletries, robes, and slippers. The room was compact (as expected in metropolitan Europe) but easy to move around with 4 of us. Easy walking distance from the Gare du Nord train station (we took the Eurostar from London) but removed enough that there was no overflow of the type of crowds you find at big train stations. It was easy for us to walk to both the Poissonnière metro stop and the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur. Highly recommended stay!
Perfect for our stay - we wanted to be close to Gare du Nord for an early departure. Metro Poisonniere was also very useful to get around town whilst avoiding the large station. Location was quiet. Did not try breakfast. Ample local restaurants.
Great place to stay
We stayed at Le Rocroy during our final night in Paris. The hotel quick walk to the train station to catch the airport train first thing in the morning. We hard a warm reception and our stay comfortablewith a nice shower and quiet room. The breakfast was very good as well. A great place to stay near Gare Nord in Paris.
Great Stay And Would Definitely Book Again
Hotel was located very close to Gare Du Nord station linking directly to CDG airport. The Metro station also made it ideal for heading into the city. Staff were extremely friendly and professional and standard room was ideal for a short stay. Never encountered any issues and would definitely book again if returning to the city
Lovely comfortable hotel vlose to Gard De Nord
We stayed 1 night at the Rocroy and we liked this hotel very much. This hotel is located walking distance from the Gare de Nord and the Gare de l'Est, very convenient when arriving from the airport by RER train. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. This is a great hotel choice when arriving in Paris.
Nice
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and its only a street away from gare de nord the train station. What makes it a good location the metro access is just across the street. The room was comfy and i loved the bathroom. The receptionist people were very nice. What i didn't like is the breakfast variety i went to have mine at 9:10 and i found that most of the food in breakfast were finished and they didn't refill which didn't bother me alone but others as well.
Hotel was 2-3 blocks away fro gare du nord which is convenient. Closed to restaurants and shopping. Hotel is very clean. Rooms are good size ( very Parisian size) and renovated. bathroom is big and nice shower. Breakfast is 10 Euro per person, per day which is worth it. I highly recommend this hotel. I felt safe walking around at night.
Cool and clean
The room was very clean, decorated art deco style and very cool, aircon very efficient.
I had a lovely stay after having to leave a previous hotel due to terrible state of it. Staff were accommodating and made us feel welcome.
It said hotel and spa and the spa wasn’t available/ working
Good but .. :(
Due to some unfortunate & unexpected circumstances we stayed 2 nights out of booked 3 nights, checked in a day later, but after explaining the situation and multiple requests of refund to all channels we didn’t got one night refund. That is so sad!
Roxana, the lady in charge of breakfast was great, very helpful; close to the train station and clean
Lovely hotel very close to to Gard de Nord. Rooms are spacious and lovely.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Close (only few minute walk) to train station for going to/from London to Paris on chunnel. Near Metro station for getting into Paris, also direct train to CDG airport. Room was clean and spacious by Paris standards. Good bathroom, shower had great water pressure. Great value. Would definitely recommend.
The place was clean and the staffs were very kind. Though it was a bit noisy around the area, I still enjoyed my stay. Overall, I will recommend going there.
Very nice hotel. Clean and tidy
Liked the location - close to major subway stations like Gare du L’est and Gare du Nord - as well as lovely neighborhoods like Montmarte. Nice staff. Loved the plentiful, gratis coffee/teas/water and croissants.
Fire alarm ringing both days, without apparently reason, no one from staff team to give any explanation or orientation, if it was fire alarm test, you should send any communication fro the guests.
Would stay there again. Close to transportation and and easy access to the train for the airport.
Great hotel. Room was bigger than expected and the bathroom was spacious. Very clean. Very friendly staff and a 5 min walk to the Gare du Nord station. Not sure how safe the area is but I had no problems with the hotel
Staff was extraordinarily welcoming and helpful. My request for a quiet room was immediately granted. Rooms are small but to be expected. Clean rooms, shampoo, conditioner, soaps, body cream provided. Nice pillows and sheets. The sliding door to bathroom is is difficult to close and open. Hallways are narrow and there is very little privacy because you can hear everything. Breakfast offered an excellent variety of food choices, free coffee/tea always available. Hotels seems newlyish renovated. Close to lots of places of interest, 3 min walk from gare du nord. I give 9/10 only because of the sliding door. A very loud alarm did go off for about ten minutes but hotel resolved as quickly as possible.
Very convenient for Gare du Nord and Eurostar, staff very pleasant and hardworking and cafes and restaurants in the area open in August when those in other areas can close. But perhaps because there is a high turnover in the rooms some items don't get fixed eg bedside light, or are missing eg. kettle. Best to check everything ok before turning in.
Clise to public transport
Very good location to bus stop and walking to Montmarte and gare du Nord. Bus 39 goes straight to Louvre. Quiet at night and very clean rooms.
Wonderful accommodating staff. Lovely rooms and nothing seemed too much trouble. Bag drop and tea and coffee making facilities were great after checkout. Worth every penny
It was simple and elegant! It was clean and the staff were welcoming!
Great staff, close to Gard de Nord, and super clean rooms.
Located very close to the train station (5min walk) so transportation options were endless. Staff was absolutely amazing and were extremely attentive. Rooms were nice and clean. Breakfast was really good as well. Overall area was not the best, not the place to roam the streets.
This was my first time visiting France. We were a party of four and traveled with two teenagers. I was pleasantly surprised that the facility was pretty clean. The elevator and rooms were small, but that is to be expected in Europe. The room was clean and I really enjoyed the modern bathroom. The room was very cold; being from Florida I thoroughly enjoyed the A/C. The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. It was a five minute walk to the metro and I felt pretty safe in the area. I did not take advantage of the breakfast because we preferred to visit the local cafes. It is a tight fit for 4 people but it is perfect for couples. However, it worked for us as we were only there for two nights. I would stay here again for sure!
Nice hotel, shame about the safe
Nice hotel, well located for Gare du Nord and for travel around Paris. The only issue we had was that the safe was absolutely not safe. Not fixed to anything and you could literally lift it, put it in a suitcase and leave the building with it. When I raised this, we were told that all safes in this hotel were that way and that they had lots of cameras..... Suffice to say, we didn't use the safe. Frankly, a ridiculous policy.
Small hotel near Gare du Nord. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good service. The walls are thin and the doors are loud when people slam them. Aside from that, it was a typical Parisian hotel.
The receptionists and kitchen staff were amazing.
All good
Very professional and welcoming staff at reception. Good bed, nice room. Reasonably priced. I really enjoyed staying there.
Nice Hotel, convenient to Gare du Nord. Rooms are clean and comfortable. There is an elevator to the rooms, but very small. (Limited to 2 people or one person with cases.)
Liked thermostat heat control. Outstanding bathroom facilities but lacked a shelf to place toilet bag etc. A second luggage wrack would have been helpful. Breakfast should start at 6 not 7AM. Good bed. Super quiet street. No modestly priced restaurant nearby. Slow check in as part-timer at desk (15 minutes)
The room was clean but it was tiny, even by Paris standards. It was okay for one night. We were only passing through Paris and had an early morning train to catch. It was convenient for that but rather expensive for what you got.
Great hotel!
Great hotel near Gare du Nord. It was really quiet and we managed to have a good night’s sleep (usually in Paris you hear a lot of sirens at night). Will stay again when I come back to Paris.
The hotel is OK, but the elevator is very small, and doesn't work most of the time. We had a room at the 4th floor and my father has bad knees, so this was a problem. The bathroom and bed are good and staff very nice. Breakfast is a little limited, specially in space and they remove it very early (10am), so weekend is hard.
Not a 4 star hotel
This was really disappointing, as I booked looking at 4 stars and good reviews. But the only good thing was the location. Service was either non existent or poor at best, breakfast was like a prison food, not even fruits, lift not working, understaffed, unhygienic and I could go on.
A Hotel Run with Clockwork Precision
Good location near stations No strike related garbage problem in this area. Has a staff trained better than most five star hotels.
Great family friendly hotel in Paris, great location nice rooms. Staff very friendly and ready to help. Great breakfast,We love the hotel. 100% recommended. Thanks everybody.
although very small room, it had everything we needed and so close to the train station,
The hotel is fine, but with pros and cons. Everything is tiny - the room, the lift, the breakfast area - except for, thankfully, the shower. The spacious shower with lots of hot water was the highlight of my stay. The bed was comfortable and the window to the inner courtyard opened allowing fresh air in. The hallways were noisy and I could hear people in other rooms at all times. There were more people staying than the breakfast room could handle. Basically the food is gone and there are no plates left by about 9AM. The food itself is ok, but average. It’s an old school Gare du Nord hotel with a facelift.
Close to station, restaurants nearby
Near the station which was convenient.
I liked how simple everything was, and the hotel was of desirable quality. Took care of the rooms every night and pretty good quality rooms and bathrooms which was great. Honestly an overall pretty good experience and am definitely staying again in the future. One bad thing though: they were so stingy with bottled water! It was so annoying! Even after being told they were free there was a woman there who was constantly saying no to us and giving us a hard time. This wasn’t cool, but of course was but a small inconvenience.
Checkin staff was not helpful, tried to charge us even though we already paid. The elevator was old and barely worked and when it stopped working the front desk man told us to just walk up 4 stairwells with all our baggage, was not going to help us or even check if he could get the elevator up and running. They also didn't have two beds available which is what we booked and then tried to charge us for a room with two beds. The coffee machine wasn't working, breakfast was not good and really disappointing. The room was small and not comfortable at all, it reminded me of a hostel, certainly not a 4 star hotel!
Fabulous hotel
Fabulous hotel, great staff, our room was large with a sofa and beautiful bathroom with large shower. Super comfy bed. Only criticism is there is just 1 mirror which is in bathroom could do with full length mirror in bedroom. Would also suggest mirror over desk to be able to dry hair and do make up as no shelf in bathroom by mirror. Really convenient for station and look for the wonderful french restaurant just around the corner. Chez Casimor.
The hotel is newly renovated with style. The location has many transportation and dining options nearby. Overall, a pleasant place to stay in Paris.
Delightfully friendly staff, a lovely room, a shower with gloriously hot water and brilliant water pressure. Convenient for gare du nord Hotel also kindly kept my bag before and after check in, letting me wander the city Good toiletries, good sized room I’m so glad I picked the Rocroy
Friendly nuce staff
This hotel is very nice and reasonably priced
This hotel is very nice and reasonably priced
Great Hotel
The Customer Service was outstanding. Breaksfast is worth having it. Thanks for helping my mum during her stay in Paris. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Recomend this Hotel 100%.
Great spot , friendly staff, clean rooms , for a hotel in paris meet all my needs
Staff were wonderful. Room was small. Bathroom was good. Walls are thin, so you hear a lot if you're a light sleeper. It was okay, but I'll try a different hotel next visit.
