Beautiful hotel. My stay was lovely. The staff were very attentive.

We did have a problem with the door which was not locking when closing. As we were going to be late for breakfast at the hotel restaurant, we asked for help from the reception and received instant response from a maintenance person. The front office manager (Alexandre Siquier) was very apologetic and offered us to help us with our next visit, which was much appreciated. Great hotel with an excellent service.

Amazing hotel! The staff is INCREDIBLE. I will not stay elsewhere in Montreal in general. The service, facility and location are perfect. The garage with tesla charging is a huge plus.

The staff are very good, the hotel facilities are inconsistent. The old entrance is nice, but a challenge in winter with all the stairs. The actual hotel is very nice and clean, but has too much modern emphasis. The room had "smart features", but the bathroom was poorly designed. The smart features were more confusing than useful. If you want ultra modern features, you will like this place, but its not for everyone. Self parking is very tight.

Very posh hotel

This was the second time we stayed there. It is a great hotel with excellent service and a perfect location. It is also beautiful inside has a great Bar and Restaurant.

Location is great and rooms are spacious and comfortable. Customer service was pretty good but a bit snobbish for the price range of the type of hotel. Valet/Parking attendants were honestly the nicest customer service at the hotel. There are no amenities or lounge areas for hotel guests. On arrival they mention that the Bar George is available to hotel guests and you don’t have to wait in the line. However the one night we went there we were seated basically in the hallway next to an open exit door on conference room chair not even really in the actual bar, there are no nonalcoholic drinks or good food options after 10 pm and the waiters were very rude. After asking a few times what options they could make me for non alcoholic drinks and getting no response, one waiter rolled his eyes at me so I said you I would prefer to not order anything and go up to my room. Location is great, many options for shopping, dining around the hotel so no need to go to the hotel bar. Housekeeping was great.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was genuinely friendly. The hotel was charming. The room clean and modern with a most comfortable bed. The room even had a personalized bowl for our doggie traveling companion. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful old building but lacking in some ways for that reason. The spa was small and had minimal amenities (no pool, hot tub, or relaxation area). Remarkably no smart TV so streaming difficult. Good staff, cleanliness, room appointments, modern bath. Quiet area.

Loved ale Mount Stephen! Great location, and seeing it decorated for Christmas was special. Will definitely be back.

Excellent property. Great rooms. Very clean. Fantastic restaurant. Close to everything.

I love this hotel and always have. My stay here this time disappointed. I have my mom staying with me and the hotel put us in a room right above the bar. We were in our rooms after dinner by 9:45-10:00 and the music got louder and louder. Even after they brought me ear plugs it did not stop my staying awake to music until 2:30 am. Room 209 is not for the early riser or bed goer!

Beautiful bar with fun drinks. Old gentleman's club converted to boutique hotel. Fanciest bidet I have ever had!!! Friendly and helpful staff. Stored our luggage while we walked around town after check out.

Very kind and accommodating staff. The hotel is very grand, with gorgeous wood detailing in the bar and hallways, but the rooms are very modern with motion detector access for almost everything. Quiet, comfortable beds, well-appointed rooms with robes and slippers. Would stay again.

The service was perhaps the best I’ve ever experienced.

When walking through the doors Of this hotel you enter a beautiful grand foyer with an elegant bar and restaurant to the side . Check in was easy and quick . The room is not huge but nice beds ,very comfortable . The bathroom is delux!! My only suggestion is that for a double queen room their should be more the one chair. Would absolutely go back. The hotel is mediocre with an incredible historical old front section. That section is largely irrelevant to the hotel function. The food, overpriced and underwhelming. Cold soup and a bizarre seasoning of a salad with five spice.not good

First room was so so and strangely configured after inquiring they moved us to a more conventionally shaped room and it was better.

Outstanding property and service in all respects. VIP room was beautiful with a nice private outdoor terrace.

Wonderful mix of history and contemporary elegance. Great walkable location to restaurants, shopping and galleries, etc.

Unlike the rooms shown on the website, our very expensive room was tiny with small, quirky windows that were virtually unusable. Had we seen a picture of THIS room, we would never have stayed there. Our queen bed took up most of the usable space in the room. Staff was excellent, helpful; the bar was wonderful.

it's a fantastic hotel and the room is super fancy and comfortable. the private Terrace is awesome. it makes our last stay in Montreal remarkable. The location is so covenant, basically you can walk everywhere, Art museum, McGill, Old Montreal, etc.
